Oh man what a terrible place! Don't even know where to start but I guess by asking: how can you screw up on bread? Super hard crust, not soft on the inside and very salty... Pretty much all you could taste was salt. I don't go to Olive Garden but you can be certain the ones they serve there are tastier. The service was so slow... The server kept walking near our table and ignoring our signal for "please bring me some water after this salty bread". Took over an hour to get our meals. I ordered a fettuccini al pomodoro i ricotta and it was so bland and overcooked noodles. No taste at all so I asked for some grated cheese/ pepper (anything to give this a little taste) and the server once again failed to come back. My husband ordered a pizza and it was ok. If you know what real Italian food is stay away from this restaurant... Bad food and terrible service!

This place is your typical Italian. The decor is very classy and great for date nights. They have a great wine list too. They offer typical and creative Italian dishes. All of their pasta's are great and their pizza's too. My friends loved the prosciutto appetizer. There were 8 of us and we each ordered something different and it all came out great. I especially loved my Gnochi with a red sauce and mozzarella. It was ooey gooey yummy. Desserts are great too, not a fan of their cookies but the gelato is good ( you get 2 scoops and can mix 2 flavors). I can't really give it more stars only because it reminds me of every other Italian I've had. Nothing stuck out as extra amazing. Just great food with a great atmosphere. The prices are a little on the high side too.

Such a disappointment! We started our evening learning that there was no bread and that they were out of gnocchi. We waiting 1 1/2 hours to finally get our meal (with NO explanation) and the pasta was so over cooked that it was inedible and two of the pasta entrees had almost no sauce (we had to ask for some to be brought to add). The waitress ended our evening by spilling ice water on us. Needless to say it was disappointing and we would never recommend it.

This place has an open dining room where you're looking in the kitchen. It's airy and communal. I feel this place gives off an air of pretension though that their food does not quite match. We only had their pizza and I take pizza pretty seriously. They serve a Neapolitan style pizza cooked on a wood burning oven. The dough is a bit mundane and lacks a trademark chewiness so distinct in Neapolitan pizzas. I asked the waitress for the best and she recommended the Vesuvius(I know lame-sounding huh)? The dough:topping ratio was unbalanced with the toppings seeping through the crust. -no folding here- anyway my wife got the standard Margherita, which was the right move. Not bad but no Antico, or Fritta.

The service is excellent let's start there. The chef(Michael) is by far my favorite and he was recognized as one from the "best chef in America. Congrats, Trust me, I try not to like my plate when I'm finished eating. (TMI)

Went there on a Friday night and was seated rather quickly. The wait staff was informed and attentive to us. However... The food was just average. All the people that review this as authentic and fantastic Italian have obviously never been to Italy and had authentic italian food.

OMG! I just found my new favorite authentic Italian regional cuisine restaurant!!!! Flavors & presentation are great. I dined alone but the wait staff and the chef/owner made me feel right at home. Can't wait to bring my husband here. I wish my Italian-speaking friend was with me to share accolades to the chef :)

First thing I am asked when we ask for water is "sparkling or bottled?" As usual, when given options at a restaurant, they want to limit your choices. I ask for tap. I ask for gluten free, as it is offered on the menu. She says, "I'll see what I can do." The waitress has some weird air of arrogance. You're barely making over minimum wage. Anyone can do what you're doing, and I have. Please get over yourself. I was hoping the food would be great, so I asked her for some recommendations. We got a prosciutto pizza and some pasta in a vegetable broth. Neither me nor my wife could finish. It was almost inedible. I don't know if it was the gluten free dough, but everything tasted like cardboard. I've sadly had a better meal at Olive Garden. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Pretty top notch and low key. Laid back with outstanding food. I haven't been to Antico yet, but this place beats Double 00 any day of the week in execution.

Food was good. Seemed over-priced for what you get. Had reservation on a Friday night. Once we were seated it was almost 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. Service was mediocre at best that night. Probably won't go back.

My brother in law has been raving about this place for months, this weekend I ended up having a chance to see what he has been talking about. The layout is nice, the smells of the food and pizza oven encompass the dining area. The waiter knew everything on the menu and was very thorough, he even assisted in pairing the wine. My date and I ended up ordering and sharing one pizza and one pasta so we could try a couple things. The pasta was amazing, some of the best for sure! They provided bread with the pasta which was very good too! The pizza tasted great, the red peppers really added to the flavor. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Heard so many positive reviews about this place so we had to try it... and we were not disappointed ! The service was excellent and food delish! The noise level was on the higher side because it appeared there were no sound baffles and the bldg. had high ceilings. The atmosphere was relaxed and open. We had yummy gnocchi and the ragu as our main courses. Both outstanding. For dessert...gelato with espresso poured over it...sooooo good...and their featured mozzarella with choc and strawberries ....you have to try it! I can see this place as a true go-to rest. for us!

We've been going to Vingenzo's for over 2 years. Amazing food. However, our most recent trip will be our last. Long story short, the owner has no business dealing with the public. His lack of professionalism is just plain sad. So happy we have lots of options in downtown Woodstock!

My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while, so since we're heading this direction, but decide to come here for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered the mozzarella sampler ( omg something to die for) and margherita pizza and tea. I loved everything we ordered! Best italian food ever!!!!!!!!

Usually, we have great experiences here. Food is usually great and the service is usually equally as amazing. However, we came here on a Friday night (we had reservations at 8:00). We sat there for nearly 30 minutes before our server came and took our drink orders. She was slow and didn't seem to know what was happening. Food was pretty good still. I would give it another chance, but I was deeply disappointed last time.

Vingenzo's is our favorite restaurant in all the greater Atlanta area. Having a home in a neighborhood nearby, we go there as often as possible. The food is consistently excellent -- the pasta is to die for and the pizzas are unique, flavorful, and excellent. Service is friendly and accommodating. Because we love the restaurant so, I feel that it is important to mention some slips tonight. Today is my birthday. Our daughter, a chef and restaurant owner in California, flew in for the occasion; and other extended family members came with us for dinner. Most of the dinner and service was good; but there were some notable exceptions tonight. They mixed up our orders so some in our party were served while others waited for their orders to be corrected. I tend toward being a vegetarian, and bit down on a chunk of sausage in the mushroom sauce pasta which spoiled my entree. The server seemed unconcerned. My husband's double espresso was botched. Spoons for sharing the delicious chocolate torte dessert arrived soiled and stuck together . The table was cleared while two of us were still eating. I strongly recommend Vingenzo's and hope that the owners/managment will take note of these issues and take steps to maintain this delightful restaurant to the highest standards, as has been true in the past.

I love this place. The mozzarella trip was amazing. I forget which types I had, but it was my favorite part. The mascarpone filled one is great, and there's one drizzled with balsamic/oil. AMAZING. I had the gnocchi Gorgonzola with an added side of Italian sausage (I need my protein) and it was amazing. The cheese, the flavor, the spinach. It was all great. My fiancé had something with anchovies and pasta, and it was ok. It's definitely a little crowded and pricey, but what I had was worth it. If I only had more money to go more often.

I'm going to "be that guy" giving this one two stars. My policy is it to give every place two tries both when a positive experience or bad one, understanding that sometimes a place gets lucky or simply has a bad night. I hope this was one of those where they were having a bad night as I so wanted this place to work out. The app.'s were incredible. We tried both the Antipasto and Mozzarella Bar three different cheeses plates. Both were Amazing. Every bite, presentation and delivery was perfect. Now for the Primi/Pasta - main course My daughters ordered plain pasta, one with main tomato sauce on the side and the other plain pasta and butter, typical kids orders, while I had the Al Forno. This is where things feel apart. The pasta's all arrived under cooked. You're an Italian restaurant, how do you get the pasta wrong? It's your staple and should at least should be cooked right. The one daughter, plain with tomato sauce, was so hungry she finished her dish, the tomato sauce was great btw. The one daughter, plain with butter, dish was topped off with anchovies. Now I love anchovies but you don't put those on a kids plate; so on top of hard crunchy pasta she had sour stinky fish. My pasta was too crunchy to get through, everything else in my dish was tasty, great sausage and cheese combo. The two of us sent our pastas back. When we got the second attempt back my pasta was still a bit undercooked, not as bad as the first round but still not cooked properly. My daughter didn't have anchovies this time but this time they added red pepper so her mouth "caught on fire". What part of PLAIN pasta with butter doesn't the cook get? That was pretty much it for me. To cheer my kids up I had them go look at the deserts/Gelato, which they were excited to go do. They came running back from the display case saying "dad their are fruit flies in the ice cream, can we go to Brusters?". "Dad, this place is Chopped". The service was incredible. Becky our server was very knowledgably and helpful along with the supporting staff. She was very apologetic about our ordeal but it wasn't her fault. The issue was the cooks could not get the orders correct. In the end the manager should have gotten engaged especially after a second round of failures. My policy is to give everyplace two chances but I'm not sure if I will go back for this one. I do want to try the pizza everyone is raving about but the experience was so bad that its going to take me a while before I will to want to spend money in this place again.

Oh how I miss this place since I moved to Texas. If you want fine Italian food, this is where to come. It is perfect for a date night, or a night out with the family. Service is always great, and I've never had a bad meal there. I will be my first stop when coming back to visit family in Georgia.

I just want you all to understand how much I love this place. I left the city and drove an hour to try it because I heard such great things about it. And let me tell you, it was all true. They make everything here from scratch - the pizza dough, pasta, mozz cheese - EVERYTHING. It's f-bomb amazing. OK? I tried one of the pizzas and the gnocchi al gorgonzola dolce e spinaci (gnocchi in cream sauce and spinach). It was worth every stinkin' calorie. I also had the special dessert which involved mozz cheese. Strange, I know. But delicious. Bottom line - this is probably some of the best Italian food I've had since leaving the northeast where actual Italian people live. (Do Italian people live here? I've met, like, one.) Anyway, try it now, love me later.

I ate here again a few weeks ago. This is the best pizza I've found in Atlanta and it is my town. How great is that. The crusts are almost translucent they are so thin. Just the way I like it, Pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven for that extra taste you look for in a great pizza. Note that they are open for dinner mostly and only serve lunch on Fri. and Sat. They are closed Sunday. There is no outside seating, which would be a great addition. I've never had anything else on their menu because the pizza is just that good.

I was here years ago, when the building was occupied by "Serene Bean," a coffee house. With all the buzz about Vingenzo's, I was happy when friends proposed dinner there. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit .... but one should throw an eye at the menu before leaving home. If you want a typically heavy Italian meal, this is not the place. Homemade pasta, gourmet pizza, fresh and delicious cheese... that's what Vingenzo's is all about. My take on the place: very good -- but not extraordinary. I started with the insalata di cesare; good, but again, not anything to run back for. Only 1 little anchovy! My husband's insalata di campo: field greens, nothing special. Salads are served atop flatbread -- perhaps thin pizza crust?! -- which I guess takes the place of a bread basket. (I'd prefer the bread.) I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza Regina which is made with Vingenzo's lovely mozerella, homemade sausage, mushrooms and basil. I would get it again. T's frutti di mare -- shrimp, mussels, little neck clams -- atop linguine was good, albeit light on the seafood. He said the sauce was outstanding, but the pasta, merely "okay." At 9 p.m. Saturday, the restaurant was packed. Our waiter was gracious and helpful. Perhaps because of the crowd, he never asked if we wanted coffee refills -- served in mini-mugs, we did indeed -- but okay.... I give Vingenzo's a thumbs up, though it doesn't rank amongst my top restaurants.

  • Mickey D.

Yup, it's as good as everyone says. About the only negative thing I can say about the place is it was noisy, just like all restaurants that insist on that trendy, open-to-the-rafters look. Yeah, it looks cool, but everyone ends up shouting at each other. But I've heard worse. The food is obviously prepared with not only skill but great care. Maybe even love. These people want you to enjoy their food, which carries over to the service as well. Service can't really get any better than it is at Vingenzo's. Perfect. We started with a meat and cheese plate: Excellent. I had the special, which was a goat ragout. Simple dish, it was goat in a tomato sauce, with a noticeable touch of cinnamon, stewed for what must have been the entire day, if not longer. Served over their house-made pasta, it was fantastic. I also had a piece of pizza from across the table, which I'm guessing spent all of about one minute in that beautiful inferno of an oven they have. It had arugula, golden raisins and pine nuts, with a nice bit of char. That's some serious pizza and seriously good. That case up front with the gelatos is too much to ignore, so the four of us ordered four different scoops. All good. Vingenzo's gets it. Go there.

Authentic Southern Italian pasta and pizza. The secret is the ingredients. Home made pasta and mozzarella. Imported Italian cheese and meats. Great menu for vegetarians - try the roasted vegetable pizza. Wine list is reasonably priced and designed to go well with the food.

Dinner at Vingenzo's brought me back to the date nights my husband and I had in New York. A real New York style Italian restaurant. Cozy, classy, and the homemade pasta was outstanding. The dessert of vanilla gelato with a shot of espresso poured over it was magnificent. We plan on becoming regulars at Vingenzo's.

  • Geoff G.

If you want an authentic, Italian, wood-fired pizza then Vingenzo's is the place to go in the area, hands down. The crust was chewy, crunchy, with just the right amount of charred spots around the edges. Damnation, I am starting to drool. Yes, its loud. But when I go, I'm only listening to the cheese bubble.

  • Sarah B.

My husband and I went to Vingenzo's for the first time tonight. It was so good! The waitress was very helpful explaining the menu to us. I have a gluten allergy and they offer both a gluten free pizza crust and a gluten free pasta for only $1 extra. I went with the pasta and it was delicious! You can order the pasta with any of the dishes. I had pasta Al Forno and it really hit the spot. For dessert my husband and I split the flourless cake and that was delicious too. Great food and friendly service- can't wait to come back!

Wow. Just wow. I've eaten here a few times and they always raise the bar. I love Italian food and they definitely have quality Italian food. I recommend the cheese platter(mozzarella is made in house). I have always gotten the con vongole which is absolutely spectacular. They always refill your glass with whatever you ordered, always bring bread and explain everything. I've never heard anyone complain and it is very chill environment.

The one extra star is given grudgingly, as the chef's vision is executed with integrity, although I don't share his vision. By that, I mean the food is fresh and light with subtle flavors and will appeal to lovers of this particular cuisine style. I prefer flavorful foods except those that are vinegar based, which is the opposite of their menu (which is also scarce on proteins, coming close to being vegetarian). But I did enjoy my Gnocchi al Gorgonzola Dolce e Spinaci (i.e., potato dumplings in a milky cheese sauce with some spinach), the Antipasto Rustico, and sampled some of my wife's calzone. The highlight was the rich and excellent gelato, especially the Chocolate Hazelnut (which overshadowed the Tiramisu flavor I also tried). Service was friendly, but struggled to keep up, which was ironic considering the moderate number of tables compared to servers (4 on this weeknight, plus the host helping out occasionally). For example, it took an unusually long time to get our Gelato, which is in the freezer display at the front, and didn't need to be prepared. They also pride themselves on their brick oven, and while I also like a touch of char, it's overdone and both my wife's calzone and the "pita" style bread was outright burnt with large black and brittle splotches that crumbled to black dust. She picked the blighted scabs off and left a pile of them on a plate, which the waiter unflinchingly removed. Since the ladies at the table were raving about their food, it is with reluctance that I bumped up the rating by a star to be fair. But to this guy, it was simply OK and I'd only return to keep the wife and her friends happy.

Excellent authentic Italian food. Great wine list and fantastic service. We went on a Saturday night without a reservation and they were all to happy to accommodate us. We mentioned how great we thought the food was and how hard it was to find good Italian food in Atlanta and the chef came by later to thank us.

Displaced Italian here, I was very excited to try this place. We ordered all of their apps and a bunch of dinners and a few desserts. Our server, a woman, very nice... one male tall staff member was a full on crab ass through everything he did for us. Mozzarella was delicious as well as other cheeses. Pizza was awesome! Fresh pasta and fresh tomato sauce were delicious as well. The two people at the table that had the pasta con vongole (clams) said the clams weren't cleaned and they kept getting sandy bites! :( With all the antipastos we ordered it felt a little weird not to have some fresh crusty Italian bread with it though! The bruschetta was served on a pita... yea no. They were out of gnocchi and our friends had been there 3 times on previous occasions to try the gnocchi dish and they were out of it those times too =/ Their Gelato was bloody fabulous. Only a few flavors though. Then.. I saw pinoli cookies were available. My all time favorite and I haven't had them in forever since I am now located in Georgia -.- and you can't get them easily here. . I said give me all you got! Took them home super excited to DOWN them in the comfort of my own home... Get home - open them - salivatinggg.. and they were hard as rocks. Super super SUPER old. =( Granted crabby pants got them for me but how on earth would you ever ever serve week plus old cookies to a customer I have NO idea. Had to throw them out =(( The comments made by the staff was that the owner is a perfectionist .... what happened? Get bread. Don't serve old/unclean food. And this place would be 5 stars. I didn't think it was expensive at all but again I'm a northerner and I know prices are a lot lower here so it is really relative. I can't wait to eat there again honestly though, you can't find good italian food like that down here!

  • H G.

The food deserves 5 stars. The pizza, mozzarellas, and gelato were all equally delicious and authentic. The service was a little slow, and condensation from the AC was dripping on us, which was a bummer but not a deal breaker by any means--maybe they were having an off day. Definitely going back for the food. Haven't had Italian food that good since Italy. It's similar to the Antico style pizza, if you've been there...

Food was good. Had the pork pasta. It took way too long to get our food, both appetizers and entrees especially with a relatively late reservation. Server was nice but we definitely felt abandoned at times.

The best restaurant hands down in Woodstock! The food is authentic Neaopoitan pizza. Pizza is as good or better as any in Italy. The best ingredients celebrated and served simply. My favorite is the Pizza Bianca with prociutto, fontina and arugula! Love this place. It makes we want to go back to Italy ASAP.

Absolutely the best Italian food in the state of Georgia. My 10-year-old daughter said it was the best pasta she has ever had!! We absolutely love everything about this place!! Ask for Josi!!!

Went here with my family on a weeknight for my second visit to Vingenzo's. This visit confirmed my opinion of the restaurant. Vingenzo's uses quality ingredients that are well-prepared but the service is very spotty to outright absent. On this particular visit we were greeted and seated immediately. Our order was taken on time and glasses of wine were promptly delivered to my wife and I. It was downhill after that. Food was slow to arrive, glasses went unfilled, plates were slow to be cleared and getting the check was an interminable wait. The one exception to this was the gentleman with the beard in the kitchen who I took to be the proprietor or manager. He found time to check on us once and see us out the door which I find odd as our server was, of course, nowhere to be seen. Vingenzo's gets 3 stars because the food is pretty good relative to any other Italian that you can get in this area. The antipasti plate and pasta dishes that my wife and I got were good - 3.5/4.0 stars. I really want good restaurants to succeed in this part of the ATL metro but it will be awhile before I go back. The memory of absent service will have to fade before I give it another shot.

Wow - just got back from lunch. We have tried all the top rated pizza places in the Atlanta area and this one is top notch. Never thought we would find a such great restaurant in Woodstock. They also serve their pasta dishes at lunch which are also top notch. Have been for lunch several times, and once for dinner. Glad we had reservations for dinner, it was packed. Not necessary for lunch. We usually have pizza when we go, and it is consistently excellent. I just wish it was closer to my home - or maybe not since I would be having pizza every night.

great atmosphere. On open table and would recommend using it on weekends. This place is busy & I know why. Appetizers are wonderful, try the homemade mozzarella or the Caprese salad. So fresh! The pizza & pasta selection is vast. Great fresh tasting pizza. Loves all of it. They have gelato & other assorted desserts. Wish this was closer, but I'll make the drive to try again!

We went there early Sat. Eve. A friend got the pizza. It was EXCELLENT! The appetizers were good but a little pricey, especially for the size of them. ANTIPASTO RUSTICO PER DUE. Speaking of size, for a house Chianti, the glass was pretty small. Not every authentic Italian where they would bring it by the Carafe! The pastas are homemade. Delicious. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The cook, probably the owner, came to check on us. Get anything you can with the homemade BUFALA MOZZARELLA! Three of us got the Al Forno. None were disappointed!

  • Zeus G.

Been here several times and the food and service have rarely disappointed. As noted in other reviews, the pizza is a standout, with a nice char from the wood-burning oven and a thin, crisp crust that tastes so good that we always eat every bit of it, something I can't say for most other pizzas I've had. The quality of ingredients used is superb. I've been told by the chef/owner that their cooler is small compared to other eateries because almost everything is made fresh each day or imported directly from Italy. Vingenzo's is my benchmark for what fresh pasta should be . It's tender and al dente, never sticky or clumped up. We brought daughter and son-in-law, both in the Navy, for dinner recently, and both said the food was just like what they'd had and loved in the small eateries in Italy. She fell in love with Vingenzo's butter-poached lobster ravioli with vanilla cream. Such an unusual combination of flavors, but it was marvelous. If they're offering the rum raisin gelato when you're there, you owe it to your taste buds to order it. I could have eaten two big dishes of it, even after a full meal.

Yes, it's a little bit of a drive from Atlanta. But I've meaning to try this place for a while. Lovely decor. Spacious and a nice quiet spot for lunch, if you're looking to relax, read, or just hang out. Service was incredibly friendly. I was on a pizza kick, so I had to try the margherita (La Margherita) here. Delicious. Not unlike Varasano's or Antico's, the freshness of the ingredients stands out. I did wish they cut up the pizza. I'm not used to eating pizza (outside of Chicago) with a knife and fork! One reason why I prefer Varasano's simply because the crust is that perfect thickness with the right amount of strength, crisp, and char. That being said, this is a delicious pizza. What's nice is that you can consume it and still have room for their delicious gelato. Don't hesitate to regress as you stare through the glass housing all the flavors. Don't hesitate to ask for samples. I really, really liked this place. Nothing bad to say from beginning to end. And the price? I didn't find it damaging to my wallet (but I did go for lunch, not dinner). Next visit will be all about the pasta; their pasta menu looked impressive and changes daily based on what's fresh. Now if I can only lock a day to make that darned drive again!

Enjoyed this place. We started with the mozzarella tasting which was very tasty , could have been a bit more genorous but it was very good. The Pizza was outstanding we had one pie with prosciutto and figs and another with sopresatta and one margharita. They where all cooked perfect nice and charred from the brick oven all very fresh ingredients and nice thin crust. Service was great we had to wait a few minutes because we had a party of five but not to bad. dessert was awsome as well, we had the riccotta cheese cake ( my favorite ) gelato and the flourless chocolate torte. Perfect dinner, a little pricey but worth it.

I want to lick the balsamic off the plate! I love this place, the food is so fresh and so delicious - not only the homemade mozzarella varieties and the thin crispy brick oven baked pizza...but down to the olives, the tomatoes, the meats, the oil and the balsamic vinegar. The Staff is very friendly, the Chef makes you feel at home, I love it all!

3rd visit and still very satisfied with Vingenzo's. This time, tried the prosciutto with arugula and parmesan shavings for an appetizer. Outstanding! We had an arugula salad with olives, which was also amazing. Finally, we had a special pizza with sauce, mozzarella, and heirloom tomatoes. Delicious. For desert, I had pistachio gelato, which was delectable! Capped off the night with a cup of cappuccino. It was perfect. I just returned from a 2 week trip to Italy, and all of the above were reminded me of my time there. Authentic Italian for sure. Best of all, the service on this night was great, as usual. Even though Vingenzo's is a 40+ minute drive for me, I will be back many times, and I'll always recommend it to others!

People in Naples would find much to love in this authentic, artistic, gem of a restaurant. The guy who runs the kitchen is a certifiable nut, in the best possible way. (Trust me, you WANT crazy people in charge of your food.) He makes his own pasta, but lots of places do that. He also makes his own cheeses AND his own proscuitto. If you want to know what pizza is supposed to taste like, or what pasta looks like when it's not drowned in red sauce, save yourself the trip to Italy and come to Woodstock instead. There is often a wait on the weekends, and don't go when you need to be in and out in a hurry, but do go visit Vingenzo's and enjoy some of the most authentic and delicious food at a reasonable price to be found in the south.

Got suckered into Vingenzos for a birthday party after we swore we would never go back. Our opinion hasn't changed. Over-priced! Crappy wine selection for a self-proclaimed authentic Italian restaurant. Not even remotely authentic. You want to pay a lot for a meal AND get authentic Italian, go to Antica Posta in Buckhead otherwise stick to Ipps across the street or Tuscany next to the theater in Town Lake.

A little hit-or-miss. The handmade mozzarella was very nice - with mild flavors of sweet milk and a silky texture. The aged salami I ordered with it was uninteresting. It was served in thin deli-style slices that were so perfect they had to have been cut on a machine. I prefer my salami in large chunks carved off with a knife, allowing me to better enjoy the texture and spicing of the meat. The dressed greens that came with it were fresh and dressed with light olive oil and aged balsamic. The flavors overall were subdued but pleasant, and the execution was good. I stole the anchovies from my companion's caesar salad, and they were remarkably good. For my main course I ordered the homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms. The pasta was woefully overcooked, at least in part, I think, because of the watery sauce. The tomato sauce seemed suspiciously like a couple spoonfulls of canned, diced tomato with a few slivers of wild mushroom and a teensy chiffonade of basil thrown in. Tuscan, this was not. It was not properly executed even. My companion had fettuccine with clams, which was similarly watery and overcooked. I am not sure if that's the preferred method of eating in this part of town, but it is not at all how I'd expect pasta to be cooked - particularly not in a place that boasts of its authenticity. For Woodstock, GA, it may be hard to do better. That being said, there are probably much better things on the menu. If I thought I'd ever be back in this part of town, I'd come back to try the pizza, or something dressed with olive oil and those delicious anchovies. Overall, four stars for the antipasto, and two for the pasta - call it a three because of the good service.

First, I need to say that I wasn't craving Italian food. But I'm always up for a good pasta (or anything with carbs) dish. Carbs are a vital part of my life, so craving or not, I'm always up for Italian food. However, I was sitting with a group of friends, daydreaming about the pumpkin & brown sugar oatmeal I would make when I got home, and someone suggested we go eat. At the thought of not doing dishes, I jumped in. Our party of 11 people showed up at 8:40, and they close at 9. A little early for a resturant to close, however, they were happy to serve us, for as long as we wanted to stay, and did not skimp on the quality of food or service. I ordered the 'Ortolana, in spite of confusion. I was unsure what pasta with 'Roasted Vegetable Broth' would be like, so I asked to sub it out for the spicy tomato sauce. It was amazing. I have never quite had a food dish like this. As for presentation, it was pretty. It looked small, though. As I pondered the size, I began to kick myself for not ordering a salad, and again, daydreaming about the oatmeal. I always seem to forget exactly how deceptive pasta really is, as well as how much food is wasted daily because presentation usually equals size. And we as Americans are gluttons...if something isn't too big for us, we don't want it. It turned out to be the perfect size. I think this restaurant may have some portion-control secrets up its sleeve. There was not much food wasted at the whole table, and that is impressive. I did not hear one complaint from our whole table. I am a fan. I will be back. The food is quality, the look inside is simple yet appealing (no cheesy decor or Itailan lessons in the bathroom in this place), and the staff very friendly.

Great place with a fun, earthy menu. Nice open cooking area in dining room. The pizzas are thin, light, and fantastic. The ingredients are of superb quality. The mozzarella course is charming too. I like the one that is creamy the best. The gorgonzola gnocchi is just right, not too much gorgonzola but just a taste. The service was fast and fun, even on a busy Saturday night. The wine list is Italian of course, with very reasonably priced (for a restaurant) Sangiovese and Chianti. They even pour wine into traditional short glasses (like on the Godfather).

Very cool authentic Italian restaurant in downtown Woodstock. My husband and I went here with another couple and had a great meal. The pasta noodles are freshly made in the restaurant and pizzas are baked in a woodfire oven. Wine is served in juice glasses (like Italy) and Frank Sinatra style music played in the background. Servers were very friendly and the manager (maybe owner) came by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Overall wonderful atmosphere and awesome food for a great deal!

Hands down, the best authentic Neapolitan food this side of Italy. It's light, fresh, and so good. Have some gelato for dessert.

Wonderful food! The most authentic in the area. Try the mozzarella tasting and don't miss the salads with those amazing green olives. The pasta is fresh and delicious and the desserts are incredible. The cookies are amazing -- try the gelato and cheesecake, too. The only downside is that the service is a little spotty and can be quite slow. Sometimes it seems like 15 minutes passes before anyone comes by to see if you're interesting in eating. The good news is that It's usually worth the wait.

We love this place. As soon as we walked in the door, the sweet smile of Becky and the aromas from the pizza oven were appreciated. My daughter has been to Italy often and she thinks this place rocks. After eating there, we totally agree!!! Service (Becky and Ben) very accommodating, wine help, perfect. Sofia and Fruit de Mare-wow ! We don't do Italian, but this is worth the carbs. Food is well priced, wine help is on point ( mark-up is 4x as is the industry). You will enjoy and ambiance, service and the FOOD!!

Back here again...brought my little one this time, and thought it was cool that they gave her some dough to play with. We got the mozzarella sampler, which was very good. They make all their pastas and pizza fresh. The only thing I'd say is that I wish they had more toppings for their pizza. Ended up being a $100 meal, but it was pretty darn good.

While I've been to Vingenzo's a half dozen times for Friday lunch, I've always 0rdered pizza, which is outstanding. Yesterday, however, they weren't serving pizza so my group was 'forced' to order off the pasta menu. Still outstanding. I had the campagnola on rigatoni with an rucola (arugul) salad. The table also ordered the cured meat/cheese/olive appetizer. Nice al denta pasta, very tasty sauce with long-stemmed artichoke pieces. Their pasta don't come drowned in sauce so you get a good pasta experience. Come to think of it, drowning the pasta would be fine too, as the sauce was wonderful. I like the list of a dozen or so sauces on the menu - you choose a sauce and then one the several pastas they're offering that day. I'll still order pizza when it's available (the pizza chef was off doing something or other that day) because it is so good, but the pasta dishes hold their own.

Vingenzo's is my absolute favorite place to eat in Woodstock. Definitely the hidden gem of the new downtown area. Local produce is used and the pasta is made from scratch daily. They even have gluten free choices if needed. I will go here any chance I get. Not a huge wine and drink selection but they what they do have is quality.

Don't go to a Thai restaurant and order teriyaki chicken. Don't go to a real Italian restaurant and order pepperoni pizza. The food at Vingenzo's is excellent. The pasta, sauces, pizza and mozzarella are made fresh and the quality comes through in the dishes. My only real complaint is they went a bit heavy with the prosciutto one time. Compared to Olive Garden this place may seem expensive, but it's an entirely different kind of restaurant. For the quality of food Vingenzo's is actually quite inexpensive. If this restaurant was picked up and dropped in Atlanta, or even Roswell, the prices would be twice as much. Even the wine list seemed comparatively reasonable. The atmosphere is generally quiet, calm, and mostly kid-free.

Been there twice and not had a good experience. This place is trying to be so upper crust that it makes you feel like trailer trash... True story... Some friends went to dinner there a while back. We ordered our salads and drinks. My friend asked if he could get a pepperoni pizza, and the waiters replied (in a very condescending tone), "We don't do pepperoni pizza here. We are an authentic Italian pizza establishment and we don't do that here."... SERIOUSLY??? We all laughed and got up and left. If you are looking for good pizza without all the pretentious snobbery, go across the street to Ipps. GREAT FOOD THERE!!! Oh yeah. the menu here is SUPER EXPENSIVE!!! We went back a second time a few months later and the food was just "ok", but totally NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

we are about to move to Woodstock Downtown, and have been trying all the restaurants in the area. Vingenzo's is a wonderful find for us. There were 3 in our party, and we each sampled a different type of pizza. The pizza is very authentic. If you're looking for Americanized thick crust, cheese smothered pizza, you will be disappointed. This pizza is the real deal. Thin crust, baked, almost charred, ingredients - very Italian. We loved it - and the gelato at the end of the meal is a real treat!! Service can be a little slow, but they are very friendly and open to offering opinion on the menu. We will be back!

I took my mother to Vingenzo's on Saturday, May 22, 2010. We arrived at 1:20 pm and were seated immediately. When you walk in, the inside of the restaurant atmosphere is very different from the street outside upon which it is built. You can see the brick oven burning next to the kitchen. The tables all had black table cloth with black cloth napkins rolled up containing the silver ware. The host who seated us was extremely polite and had a hint of an Italian accent. He smiled the whole time and seemed very happy to be there. He was very friendly and seemed to be enjoying his time there. I believe he is the owner, but i forgot to ask. After being seated, our waitress was with us to take our drink orders within two minutes (she was cleaning a table, and told us very politely she would be with us in just a moment. She finished up and was with us pretty quickly). She took our drink orders of two waters and a double espresso. We had checked the menu online so we already knew we wanted a Caprese. She grabbed our drinks and our salad and had it all in front of us within five minutes. The caprese salad was delicious. It included two generous slices of fresh mozerella, a few pieces of basil that were lightly covered in olive oil and four cherry tomatoes. It was seasoned very lightly and was very satisfying. Then she took our order: Just for the experience and so I would have two separate pizzas to yelp about, my mother and I both ordered our own pizzas. I ordered the margharita pizza. It looked really good on the website, and i figured you cannot beat the classic. This pizza was absolutely amazing. It was perfectly and had a crust that was just barley thick enough to hold the toppings. It was topped with a delicious san marzano tomato sauce, four large slices of fresh mozzarella cheese (mozzarella di bufala), and three basil leaves. All of the cheeses are made by the restaurant and are really fresh. My mother ordered the quattro formaggi pizza with arugula. It was topped with san marzano tomato sauce, and four cheeses: a little gorgonzola, provolone, fontina, and mozzarella (latte fresco mozzarella. The arugula was placed right in the center of it. This pizza too had a thin crisp crust that was just thick enough to hold the toppings. This pizza was not overwhelming with cheese, as the sauce was easily seen, and she gave me a piece of it to try. It was delicious. The pizzas were not cut, and were served with a knife so that you could have the oppertunity to cut it yourself, although in italy they do not cut it at all. they just eat it with a fork and knife. I attempted to eat it with a fork, but the crust was so very crisp and thin so it broke when i attempted to cut it. But it tasted delicious! We asked about what gelato flavors they had today. They said lemon, chocolate, pomegranate, and pistachio. They said more, but i forgot what they were. I have had gelato in Seattle and it was delicious but had never had pomegranate gelato before, so i went ahead and tried it. It was very creamy and very sweet. I probably would order the pistachio next time, but it was still good and it was something i had never tried before. My mother ordered the ricotta cheese cake. It was served on a small plate with a strawberry on the side. It was very soft and creamy and i loved it. It had few raisins and chocolate chips on the bottom of the slice that had been soaked in Marsala (a sweet white wine), and was delicious. With 2 waters, 1 double espresso, 2 pizzas, 1 gelato, and 1 ricotta cheese cake the total bill came up to about $53. I think i paid a very good price for the service and the amazing pizza i got. Different people have different opinions and others may prefer a thick greasy crust with meat all over it but for one of the best thin and crispy crusted pizzas i have had in quite a while and for an amazing atmosphere and ricotta cheese cake, i would recommend Vingenzo's for a great gormet pizza experience. We were in and out within half an hour. -Andrew D. Morrison-

We went to Vingenzo's when it first opened and thought - WOW if word ever gets out, this place will be packed. We went a few months later and it was packed. Great wine, real pizza, amazing gelatos, service is first rate and we have never disappointed!!

Wow! Second time here and it won't be the last. Terrific service and even better food. Informal atmosphere, but a formidable menu and very classy experience. Four different servers tended to us and each treated us as if we were their only table. Strongly recommend.

This place was awesome. Came here for the first time just the other night, and was happy to find ITP quality food OTP. The fresh pasta was amazing, and the pizza was very good. The menu was made up of real Italian dishes, not American Italian dishes. Cant wait to come back.

Eccezionale!!!!!!! I'm almost scared to say to many great things about this place because I want to be able to get a seat when we are in Woodstock! Our meal last night was perfection! The lobster in vanilla butter cream sauce was rich and decadent and matched up perfect with my wife's Pinot Grigio! I had the pizza pie with the homemade fennel sausage-amazing! They have a strong Italian wine selection and I splurged last night and got a bottle of the Reserva Palazzo Brunello, wow, if I could only afford to drink this on regular basis! This restaurant holds it own against and rises above many places in Atlanta! Bravo!!!

This is a great restaurant with great food. And it is EXPENSIVE. It's a nice place to take your spouse on a special day for lunch. I took a day off from work and took here there. We loved the food. And then we ate sandwiches for a week trying to recover from the hit to our bank account. I refuse to remove a star because it is expensive. This is perhaps the only actual fine dining I have found in Cherokee County that is actually nice. Service was outstanding.

We visited Vingenzos twice just to make sure before I wrote a review. We had read a good review in an Atlanta magazine but there seemed to be mixed opinions on yelp. I was expecting great pizza....very average and In NO way is it authentic Italian! We also had a couple pasta dishes and their house made mozzarella. The same problem with every dish is that they r very bland... No salt or seasoning to speak of. It is very noisy and the service is very lacking! They take your order and then you never see your initial server again! There are no salt and pepper shakers on the table and we wanted to ask for salt. Everyone was done eating before we could get anyone's attention. One last thing... Every dish is either all veggies or contains pork. We were with someone that doesn't eat pork so there wasn't alot of choices. Prices were not high.

While Antico is my fave pizza in Atlanta, Vingenzo's is up there. The bonus being Vingenzo's has great pasta. Love the bread--which is from their pizza dough.

I have been to Vingenzo's on 3 occasions and have always had a great experience. The pizza is perfect, the salads - light and refreshing and the pasta amazing. There are some reviews below that mention sticker shock but I disagree. You get what you pay for here, delicious, fresh, artisan food.

As a son of a TRUE Italian mother, I grew up enjoying fresh pasta, slow cooked sauce, and all sorts of homemade treats. With that, it pains me to hear that someone would think that places like Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill, etc, are what people think of when you say Italian. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES. If you want to belly up to the all you can eat American Italian feed trough then by all means. If you are Northern Italian or a fan of that type of cuisine and you want to be swept back to your childhood like the food critic on "Ratatouille" then this is the place for you. Thank you Chef!

I've been here half a dozen times or so and would love to give Vingenzo's a 5-star rating. The owners are very nice, the food is fresh and they keep a good variety on the menu. However each time I've been I've had a different experience with service, quality and portion size. The first time I visited everything was A+. The server described the appetizers available with such vivid descriptions we wanted to order one of each, we finally went with a mozzarella sampler and it was phenomenal. Some of our group had pizzas and others pasta and we shared around and enjoyed all of it. However the next time I went (taking friends from out of town after I bragged on the restaurant) the waitress we had seemed like she was forced to work there. She knew nothing about the dishes and didn't even know what beverages they had available. On another trip the service was OK but the food was mediocre, some was cold and portions were much smaller than on previous visits. My last trip there, a few weeks ago, and everything was spot on. My dad was visiting and I took him and he was very impressed, he even went back home and was telling his friends about it! One of the biggest things that earns Vingenzo's points for me is they chose Downtown Woodstock for their location, the area is growing nicely and it's great to see restaurants setting up shop there. I they can get their food quality and service consistent they'll be there a long time, but it's hard t choose a restaurant that's somewhat pricey when you're rolling the dice on what you'll get. I almost forgot, the noise level here is usually very high. If you're at a large table it is so loud it can be hard to hear the people across from you.

Thank God for this place! I say that because I've been feeling like I'd never be able to give another 5 star review ,and because Woodstock needs a place like Vingenzo's in the worst way. The atmosphere is formal, yet relaxed with an open kitchen and dining area. The service was top notch and left no room for improvement. The waiter was super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Any place that claims to be authentic Italian better bring two things to the table. One, a great pasta, and two a great sauce. These guys hit a home run on both! The pasta is made fresh daily from scratch and you can really taste the difference. The pizzas are made from scratch and they are out of this world , and these guys make fresh mozzarella daily! The food was amazing, the cappuccinos were just right and the gelato was the perfect night cap. I will be back often and I highly recommend this place to everyone else.

My friend and I visited this restaurant last Friday, and what a pleasant experience it was. The food was delicious. My friend had a pizza and I ordered pasta al forno. I could taste all the fresh ingredients and seasonings. My goodness, the Italian sausage in my dish was absolutely delicious. Because of the great taste of my meal, I tried for a return visit on Sunday. Sadly, it was closed. I can't wait to visit again. I was pleadingly surprised to find that this place was this close to hone and food was sooooo delicious.

Let me clarify a few things for you. First, Vingenzo's is NOT a pizzeria. If you want pizza then go elsewhere. You can get a perfect NY-style pie at "Big Pie in the Sky" in Kennesaw. Order a medium pie for $12.50 and add your toppings for less than $2.00 each. Don't go to Vingenzo's looking for a pepperoni pizza. Vingenzo's is an Italian restaurant offering authentic Southern Italian (Neapolitan) specialties. The chef/owner is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and he is on-site supervising his staff and attending to customers. So, don't go to Vingenzo's hoping to order chicken parmigiana or cheese ravioli. This is not the place for mundane entrees. Go to Frankie's in Marietta for that. But if you want to sample dried meats, home-made mozzarella, arugula salad, an assortment of fresh pasta, and outstanding desserts, including home-made gelato and ricotta cheese cake, then you'll be delighted by Vingenzo's. Yes, they offer a variety of gourmet quality, delicious, wood oven pizza. And they're great. But they are Italian-style pizzas, not the Americanized, Pizza Hut/Domino's/Papa John types of pizza. Nevertheless, back in Brooklyn we'd refer to people who ordered pizza in such an elegant restaurant as "miserables". Get your ordinary pizza elsewhere. Go to Vingenzo's for the creative food selections, including the gourmet pizza, and ambiance. And for those who think it's expensive, I say, "You've got to be kidding me." Last Saturday night (3/3/2012) Ketel One martinis cost me $4.00 each. The dessert offerings were less than $4.00 each. Dinner for two, including a shared "antipasto per due", shared salad, two pasta entrees, three desserts (gelato, cookie assortment, ricotta cheesecake), and drinks cost $106.90 plus tax and tip. If you think that's expensive, well, what can I say?

Delicious, fresh and fantastic Italian food prepared from scratch daily- the food at Vingenzo's is beyond reproach. The moment I saw the homemade buffalo mozzarella I knew I was done for. The atmosphere was casual and belied the obvious dedication to simple but sumptuous cuisine. Each member of our party ordered to the fullest extent of the menu- appetizer, entree, dessert, and of course, a simple chianti that accented everything flawlessly. I was very satisfied with a variety of vegetarian options in all categories. Portion sizes being much more correct (i.e. smaller) than the average American-Italian joint, this was a filling but not excessive meal. I should note that because the portion sizes are smaller than one would expect, you can run up quite the tab ordering multiple courses. It falls at least in the high end of the "moderate" price range. For my personal budget, this puts Vingenzo's in the "special occasion" column possible eateries. Still, a delight.

Food (especially home made mozzarella selections) is always excellent, I am yet to have a subpar meal there (5+ visits). Pizza is very good, comes from a wood burning oven, but not quite as awesome as the one from Antico. I would have given it a 5 stars, but the place tends to get pricy very fast; pizza and pasta dishes are prices right, but when you add a side sals ($7), or a very small glass of vine ($8-10), the bill tends to get very high, very quickly. But considering it's location, I think this may be the best Italian Restaurant OTP

I hate to write a negative review! However, our dinner at Vingenzo's left a lot to be desired. We were a party of five seated at a rectangular table for 4, which initially didn't bother us a bit until our two appetizers came out and we couldn't make enough room for everything. First, I will say that the food was delicious. Yes, everything we ate was superb, fresh, and refreshingly light. So I'll start there. We ordered the Antipasto appetizer for 3 and an order of bruschetta. The antipasto was simply amazing -- delicious and beautifully presented. The wooden serving board contained proscuitto and salami (sliced very thinly), parmesan and ricotta salada cheeses, olives, and roasted vegetables. It also came with grilled bread, which was difficult to cut, so we ended up ripping it. The bruschetta was good but was a relatively small portion for sharing. So, what was the problem? Well, the restaurant is a single large, open room and the kitchen is open into the giant room as well. It was so loud that we had a hard time carrying on a conversation. Shortly after we were seated a group of 6 (apparently regulars) were seated behind us at a round table. That was when our waitress either became overwhelmed or just decided to pay special attention to the other table at our expense. Four of our pasta entrees came out shortly after we finished the appetizers. The fifth entree took another 10 minutes to arrive. Two of us ordered the Campagnola and the dishes looked very different. One was beautifully presented and the other looked like it had been stirred up and was missing the basil chiffonade on top. So we asked for more basil and they brought us 3 or 4 leaves which we had to tear up ourselves (not a huge deal but just one more thing). We asked for additional parmesan cheese and I felt like they were a ltitle stingy with it. Also, we had to ask twice for a 2nd glass of wine after our waitress forgot about it. A man with an apron (apparently the chef) came to visit the round table behind us several times to check on their satisfaction. He passed by our table without a glance. There was just something about that, that we all felt was not quite right. Trust me, we are not terribly picky people, but going out to dinner on a Saturday night is about more than just the food. We want to have an experience. I wish I could have spent this review writing more about the high quality ingredients in the food and the wonderful flavors. I'll give them another chance, but it'll be a while.

Go Woodstock! The last time I was in Woodstock (20+years) you'd think they were about to bulldoze the whole town because no one was home.....not anymore. Nice work, but this isn't about the town it's about one of the greatest, casual, Italian restaurants I've been to in a while. Vingenzo's was supper crowded, there was a 20 min wait. Luckily we called ahead for reservations and were seated immediately. The server was promptly at our table and very nice, took our drink orders and returned just as quickly. We split two apps, the four cheese pizza and the house made mozzarella Grandioso tasting. Both were dead on! The pizza was perfect. Chewy, light, crust fresh ingredients nice bubbles in the dough....the mozzarella was fantastic. My favorite was the Stracciatella di Burratta (i think). It's the one that looks like a small satchel, with a dense exterior that gives way to a soft, sweet, creamy inside. Awesome! I've never had this type of mozz before. The pastas were equally great. (more in the morning) food coma.....

VERY INCONSISENT! So I'm giving this place 3 stars b/c its the average of my two experiences here. The first time we came--4 stars-- it was a Saturday night, we had a great server. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, offered great suggestions, attentive, etc. I was kind of annoyed that the menu is rather limited... I dont like that there are only about 2 pasta dishes that have any kind of meat in them. We got the mozz cheese platter, which is very tasty. We also got the antipasti meat charcuterie type platter-- also good. Again, pretty limited with the appetizer choices. We had the gnocci which was very good and the four seasons pizza, which was good, but not OMG outstanding. We went recently for my mother's bday dinner and I must say it was one of the most annoying, high blood pressure inducing, crappiest experiences. 2 stars. First of all, our waitress was completely overwhelmed and just the slowest server... She is an older woman and had the sense of urgency of a slug and had 5 tables!!! Why they gave this woman 5 tables is beyond me... i think she would have been overwhelmed with 3. we waited at least 5 mins before we were approached after sitting. She didnt appear to know squat about the menu and was totally unhelpful in menu suggestions. She suggested the egg white fettucine which was SO BLAND and sucked up all the sauce from my Campagnale (?) dish and I was basically left with plain noodles. I got the pasta dish with artichokes, mushrooms, tomatoes, and something else. It was below average and not seasoned well and they are so arrogant to not even put salt on the table-- then please season your food, fools! Even more annoying was that the waitress would disappear and not stop by for intervals up to 30 mins at a time. WHAT?! Everything seemed like a major hassle to get-- espresso took 15 mins, then she brings them on a tray without any sugar caddy??? Basic. It took her another 5 mins to get it. Literally. And this whole restaurant is probably 1500 sq ft. When we ordered our espresso and dessert my husband asked for the check and it took her NOT KIDDING 20 mins to bring it. The desserts we got were just MEH... the chocolate torte was totally dry and tasteless. Dont bother. How do you screw up chocolate cake? The weird mozzarella dessert was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. All in all, the average food and insanely POOR service made this visit my last. This place is just too far for me to want to roll the dice and visit here again.

There is a great Neapolitan pie to be had at Vingenzo's, certainly worth the ride to Woodstock. Good ingredients. Atlanta magazine was right to include it in their top picks. I had the Regina- great sausage, fresh mozz made in-house. Annie had the Sopressata- spicy salami, parm. Both were well crafted with great ingredients. The red sauce is delicious. Our friend loved the Margharita! The atmosphere is busy and fun, an interesting space with an open kitchen. My only complaint, and one I often have these days, is that the place is too damn loud. When the server was shouting the specials to be heard at the table, I had the feeling that I was hearing an announcement over a PA system. Call ahead. It's packed on the weekends. Good show all around!

This is my favorite restaurant, currently. It is fresh and simple, just the way it should be. The best pizza and gelato. They make gelato, pasta, mozzerella, and sausage in house. A++++. The only negative is that it is really loud at peak times.

Upon entering this over sized "loft" you are welcomed by the hostess and seated promptly if you arrive after the rush crowd (after 9:30pm). Kudos for great service by impeccably dressed waitstaff, Caesar Salad was great, me no likes that the pizza was TOO THIN, so much it was water-cracker like. I know Neapolitan, I grew up in Venezuela where half the Italian population set up shop, and I enjoy pizza at Il Bacio (muy buena), Fritti and Baraonda. My boyfriend liked his pizza, I was OK with mine. Wine is served in little "glasses", not vino glasses, so no vino for me because it just doesn't breathe well in this type of receptacle. The owners wanted to recreate the true/original/ authentic feel and taste of Italy, but failed when they left the space practically undecorated, there are no wine bottles wrapped in raffia, no grapes and no garlic bunches hanging. A miscellaneous and misplaced item her and there, and a pile of wood for the wood burning oven is set too far from the kitchen, across the room (next to my seat!) And so with that, sorry, nothing says "authentic" aside from the sign and/or the menu that says the word a few times. With that, the manager comes over unceremoniously and starts asking you about your experience, although he has not introduced himself and has no name tag or clothes that scream "I work here", so my boyfriend and I are kind of freaked out that this 6"4 man is talking to us and we don't know why... until I ask if he is the Manager, and I believe he is , or was it the owner? We left and stopped at Zucca, where the wine is serve in wine glasses.

Do not pay attention to the negative reviews from Monica M or Kathy B. Tara H had it fairly close in her review (although I am not sure why she gave it 3 stars simply because her husband did not care for it; she seemed to like it very much). This is as good as it gets when you are looking for fresh Neapolitan cuisine - which, to be clear, was 'enriched over the centuries by the influence of the different cultures that controlled Naples and its kingdoms, such as that of Spain and France, and Italy.' In other words, VERY fresh ingredients....everything prepared daily with the utmost care (what they do not make in the restaurant itself they import from Italy). Everything I have ever tried here is excellent. If you want fattening meals heavy sauces and cheeses, go to Provino's.

Great Italian eats in downtown Woodstock. That's right! The sticks is where it's at! Holla, OTP! Sorry, that was my "street" coming out. But seriously, Vingenzo's is good food. As another reviewer said, I wasn't in the mood for Italian either, but was brought to the restaurant by some friends. Right off, I thought that the place was gonna be pricey. But I paid less than I do at other places like Scallini's, which isn't very fresh nor "fresh," if you know what I mean. I was impressed that the advertised fresh ingredients were actually that. I chose Pomodoro E Basilico. Simple yes, but bursting with flavor. And I was impressed with the service and the wine knowledge the server shared with us. The manager checked with us and chatted for a second, which I liked--it didn't feel like one of those obligatory manager fly-bys. "Everything okay here?" Nope, not this manager, he asked for specifics and recognized our dishes, though they resembled more closely a culinary battlefield than the works of art that first arrived at our table. In all, I really liked this little gem in Woodstock. Check it out the next time you're OTP. Holla! (I'm really just trying to fit in with you city-types. Is it working?)

I went here for dinner with my husband for my birthday because he said I could go wherever I wanted to, and since he usually doesn't go for Italian, I figured what the hell! I was craving chicken parm for some reason... When we arrived at the restaurant, we got seated immediately, which I thought was awesome for 8pm on a Friday night! We looked at the menu and were a little disappointed, because hubby is a big meat eater and I was craving chicken parm. They don't really have much in the way of meat, other than sausage... so, we went with it. We ordered the bruschetta, which was really good. They use fresh cheese and tomatoes, and you can taste it! Then we ordered a four cheese pizza and the Al Forno (I think that was it) sauce, that had the sausage in it with rigatoni pasta. When our food came out... we were pleasantly surprised! The food is very very good, you can tell it's all fresh! Hubby tried the lemonade, and it's made with basil, so it tastes kinda weird... We also ordered the flour less chocolate almond cake for dessert and it was delicious as well! I even got it complimentary because it was my birthday! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for pasta or pizza. If you're wanting something more heavy, you may need to look a little further...

Could be a great place if they would do something about how loud it gets in there when they fill half the tables and improve their service. The food is pretty good, but portions are small. I have been a few times, but always leave aggravated by the poor service. Don't go if you want to have any kind of conversation with anyone, my waiter could not even hear me when I placed my order.

Overpriced! Student cooks, I would prefer experience over a trainee. 13.00 for a sausage small pizza, enough for one. Eat it while it is hot, otherwise it is just a pizza

Great food, a tad costly and the service suffers quite a bit on their very very busy evenings. The owner walks around greeting guest and talking to people. We are there once a week, I often order the specials which run around $30 and nope not a hello from MR. Vigenzo... just looked at us and sauntered on by. I grew up in this business and this is a big no no, just because people seem young and not the type to spend money, should not induce a business owner to ignore them. We used to be there at least once a week, but our enthusiasm has cooled down after that experience. Bad service and being snubbed by the owner in one eve will do it even for hard core foodies.

All I can say is WOW! This place definitely does not disappoint! Everything here is made fresh from the pasta to the cheese! I had the gnocchi with a gorgonzola cream sauce and it was heavenly. The gnocchi were light, fresh and full of flavor! The cream sauce was prepared just right and wasnt thick or clumpy and it complemented the gnocchi nicely. We also had some pizza dough bread drizzled with olive oil and fresh grated parmesan cheese. We ordered a second serving of the bread to dip into the gorgonzola cream sauce since it was that good! I can't wait to go back here with some more time on my hands to try some of the other items and dishes here.

As some other reviewers have said- ignore the negatives here. Couple of reasons. One- this is real, authentic Italian from Naples. Two- this is not a pizza joint (see number one). As to the first. Most people don't know that the thick-crust pizza and spaghetti with meatballs thye're used to are Italian-American food, with emphasis on the American. Real italian food uses very light and fresh ingredients. As to the second. I don't pop into a real Mexican kitchen and get mad if won't serve me a Nachos Bell Grande. It seems like a lot of people do pop into Vingenzo's and gripe about not getting pepperoni on their pizza. (Pepperoni is not authentic to Naples.) Anyway, seriously- eat here. They make their own cheese and bread, and fresh pasta rotates daily. For pasta, you actually pick from a list of toppings and then your server will tell you the pastas of the day, and you choose a pasta to go with your toppings. I had the Frutti Di Mare (Fruit of the Sea) on fettucine. The Frutti includes fresh steamed mussels, clams, and shrimp. The mussels were heavenly. If you know food, you know it's no small feat to get good and noon-deep-fried seafood in the US. If I were to imagine a complaint, the dish could have used literally four or five more drops of olive oil, it was that close to perfection. I was with my wife, and we shared a bottle of the Moscato- very tasty. She got a simple Magherita pizza, which was excellent. We each got a dessert to share, and wow. I've had better food, but only at multiples of these prices. Just a few more notes before you dive in. The owner actually helps (or, runs) students through cooking school, so the staff on any given visit are pretty fresh-faced and quality can fluctuate. The owner or current manager will assuredly come around to ask about your meal, and the owner is known for defending the quality of his restaraunt. If you have a substantive complaint about your experience, you will get a chance to address it to management, and you should be prepared to back up your claims. Finally, although you won't feel too out of place showing up in jeans, there is a fine dining element here. Your pizza might even get cold on the plate. Food is not served mouth-burning hot, and it's not on a hot plate. Again, unlike American-Italian, you're actually supposed to taste the flavors instead of grease and burning. And a final note- I once had a friend take a backpacking trip in Italy. He said he fell in love with Italian cooking when he was served cantaloupe draped with prosciutto, and he served it to my family at our next big event. Then and there, I vowed to try a full meal of real Italian someday. When I got the sampler at Vingenzo's, lo and behold, cantaloupe and prosciutto. Grazie.

It was 45-minutes from my reservation time until I had a glass of wine in my hand -- bad start. The tables are so tight others must move in order for you to sit down. They are out of my guest's common Italian beer. It is so loud one must scream to talk across the table. Then the food arrives. The pizzas, Margherita and Bianca, are excellent. The Gnocchi with Gorgonzola is the best I have ever had. I could put up with everything except the noise. What good is a dinner with friends if you cannot talk to them?

Not to begin this to offend anyone or to sound snooty, but who would believe this tony little Italian Restaurant, with an atmosphere that would fit in just fine in midtown Atlanta, could be hiding in Woodstock, GA? I must admit that I have very little knowledge of Woodstock and was utterly surprised when we pulled into the center of town and found this charming little community. It did not stop there. We had been invited by friends to dine at Vingenzo's with them - they, unfortunately, did not pick up the tab- and had no expectations of anything special. From the moment we walked into this airy and contemporarily styled place, we were impressed.. So, far so good. The food did not disappoint. We began the with the Anitpastio Rustico Per Due and asked them to make it for four. They graciously did. The assortment arrived on a wooden platter and consisted of: DRIED CURED MEATS, ITALIAN CHEESES, CERIGNOLA GREEN OLIVES,ROASTED VEGETABLES, SERVED WITH PIZZA BREAD. It was outstanding. The prosciutto was delicious and the parmesan with peppercorn was a new and delightful experience. I highly recommend it. This was followed by the Insalta di Rucola- a garden salad composed of: ARUGULA, RED ONION, ROASTED PEPPERS, CERIGNOLA GREEN OLIVES, LEMON OIL AND AGED PARMIGIANO REGGIANO, BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE. It was outstanding. We were offered three shapes of fresh pasta that evening and choose fusilli, fettuccine and spaghetti. All were truly fresh and made in house. One might be tempted to say that there is only a slight difference in fresh and dry boxed pasta. If you feel this way, then you might not find Vengenzo's to stand out from the pack. I am one who finds a significant difference between fresh and dried pasta and enjoy making fresh pasta at home. I choose spaghetti with the Fruitti di Mare - or fruit of the sea- pasta consisting of: SHRIMP, MUSSELS,LITTLE NECK CLAMS, WHITE WINE, GARLIC, ROMA TOMATOES. The pasta and sauce get an "A." The shrimp were shrimp and cooked tender, the clams were a delight, but the mussels were off. They were over cooked and the texture was mushy. This was surprising. I did not, however, let this affect my enjoyment of the dish. The mussels were the only disappointment and I could have made this know to our delightful waitress, but choose not to focus on this one ingredient. For the failure of the mussels, I'll give this dish an A- and will try it again. If the mussels are off again, I'll merely send it back and ask them to exchange them for more clams and shrimp. The only other dish the party had was the Campagnola which consisted of: ARTICHOKE HEARTS, CHERRY TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS, BASIL, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, GARLIC. I am not one who is normally drawn to vegetarian dishes when meat is avaialble, but found the sauce fresh, mighty tasty and the pasta, again, fresh and terrific. I'll give this dish an "A" as well. Bottom line, I recommend Vengenzo's even if you have to drive a fair distance to get there. I give them an "A." Bravo to the owners and chefs of this wonderful restaurant!

I will never go to this place again. There were about 3 couples there when we arrived about 5:00 and we were ask if we has reservations. When we said no, we were seated at a horrible table even though the restaurant was empty. For a small place in the middle of Woodstock, they were very pretentious. The waitress explained the menu to us like we were morons. We have been to Italy twice and somewhat familiar with the food. Their menu and wine list is confusing and ridiculous. Unless you are a regular, they aren't interested in you. Save your money.

Zero, that is what I would like to give as my review of this pseudo-Italian restaurant. First of all, there is a blazing halogen lightbulb burning my scalp. I'm thankful I don't have big hair and use hairspray because my hair would catch on fire. Secondly, the waitress called me "honey". Need I say anything else. Finally, when we asked if there was anything we could do about the lighting the failed stand-up comic tried to be cute but was less than accommodating. As a result of our complaint we were served burnt bread. Coincidence, I think not. The failed stand-up comic might want to rethink his current job... I'm told this is a good restaurant, but as the saying goes...you have one chance to make a first impression...plus I am NOT your "honey".

Great restaurant! Got recommended by a friend, been there twice. First visit was about 3 month ago. I didn't know that Woodstock was such a clean and neat town. Even living in GA for a while, never been around this part of town. Yeah, the restaurant. It was clean and well designed. Simple and neat. We had 1. Antipasto which was great. All the meat was cured right. with perfect amount of saltiness, and the marinated artichoke added a good taste to each between the meat and cheese. A must have. Will get it again next time. 2. Napolitano Pizza. One of the best I had in Atlanta. It had great simplicity, taste, and it was baked right. Much better than the overrated Antico pizza. Get better pizza here for half the price. 3. Frutti De Mare( Seafood pasta) Awesome!! Even though I like my pasta Al dente, it was still just a tad hard. Though everything else about this pasta was right. Overall experience was great would recommend it to anyone who likes good authentic Italian food. If it was closer, would be there more frequently.

Jim H said to ignore the negative ratings by Monica M and Kathy B which is downright rude. I was actually being kind. So Now I will give a more detail on my review. We ordered the pizza which was COLD and I like a thiner pizza but not a cracker. This was way too thin and had some prosciutto added to it after the pizza was cooked. We then both ordered pasta dishes, BOTH OF WHICH WERE SERVED COLD. I ordered the Frutti Di Mare. It came with 2 teeny little neck clams, one shrimp and 2 mussels. The pasta being home made was light. It had just a touch of sauce on it. $19 for the pasta was overpriced for what we got - a small bowl of pasta with those couple things on it. After we were just about finished with the meal, the owner/manager came over and said how was your meal. We told him it was served hardly warm in fact cold. He took exception and was not pleased with us. He said the meals are prepared individually and they don't use heat lamps so if we want our meal hot we need to inform them when we come in to serve the meal hot. He was annoyed and then so were we. Who has to go into a restaurant and inform them that you want your meal served HOT. He needs some lessons in customer service and or restaurant management. Since the dishes consist only of some pasta with some things thrown in - how hard is it to get it to the table still warm? We will not return. Kathy B

This was my first and last visit. I have visited almost every restaurant in downtown Woodstock and this was by far my least favorite. The pizza was good but the choices were limited - only 6 to choose from pn the menu. Expect to pay 15-19 for a pizza that can be shared but more proportioned for a healthy serving for one. I ordered a martini it came in a glass slightly larger than a shot glass. The pasta was good but nothing to brag about. We asked to change the pasta selection and it seemed to be an ordeal. The entire night left a lot to be desired.

Vingenzo's is an Italian restaurant located in downtown Woodstock that specializes in authentic Neapolitan cuisine. It's one of many interesting local businesses in the Main Street Woodstock community. The restaurant is classy enough for a nice date, but not so stuffy that you can't casually stop by with friends for pizza. The setting most reminds me of Atlanta's Double Zero Napoletana, albeit on a smaller scale, with it's elegant, rustic look, open kitchen, and showcase wood-burning oven. Chopped wood is used as decor near the restaurant entrance. Pizzas are baked in the oven similar to other local Neapolitan pizza restaurants such as Antico, STG Trattoria, and the temporarily closed Fuoco di Napoli. The food menu boils down to Italian small plates/appetizers, salads, and mozzarella to start, and pizza and pasta for main entrees. The "mozzarella bar" consists of seven different types of mozzarella. Nearly 20 different pizzas are offered and 15 varieties of pasta featuring everything from littleneck clams to house-made sausage. Expect to spend up to $10 for each starter and $13-17 each for most of the pizzas and pasta dishes. If you like mozzarella, the "Grandioso Tasting" is recommended because it allows your table to sample different types of mozzarella at a better value. Here's a rundown of the items I've tried at Vingenzo's: Mozzarella Tasting - Affumicata, Mozzarella di Bufala, Mozzarella Fior di Latte, Scamorza, Stracciatella di Burrata Antipasto Rustico Per Due - meat and cheese plate consisting of assorted salumi, Italian cheeses, seasonal fruit, and olives Margherita pizza - fresh pomodoro tomato, buffalo mozzarella, basil, olive oil, San Marzano tomato sauce (DOP) Gnocchi al Gorgonzola Dolce e Spinaci - potato dumplings with Gorgonzola Dolce cream sauce and spinach Sugo di Domenica - six-hour braised pork in San Marzano tomato sauce Chocolate hazelnut, espresso, and tiramisu gelato The mozzarella plate is good and recommended if you like cheese. The cheeses are accompanied with a mixed green salad, cherry tomatoes, capers, peppers, and assorted olives. All of the mozzarellas are fresh. They are white in color, soft, and moist. Some are drizzled in olive oil while others are topped with a bit of crushed black pepper. The Affumicata is smoked mozzarella. The Mozzarella di Bufala is made from Italian buffalo's milk. The Mozzarella Fior di Latte and Scamorza are made from cow's milk. The Stracciatella di Burrata has a soft mozzarella shell with a softer cream-mozzarella mixture in the middle. Due to the freshness of the mozzarellas, the flavoring is rather subtle and mild. The meat and cheese plate isn't bad, but is underwhelming when compared to meat and cheese plates at other Atlanta area restaurants, particularly European restaurants like Ecco or "farm-to-table" restaurants like Miller Union. In comparison, it seems lacking and less interesting. A puffy flatbread is served as a complimentary table accompaniment. It's presumably baked in the same oven as the pizzas as the bread comes out with dark char marks similar to the pizza crust. Olive oil and shredded cheese are added for additional flavor. The Margherita pizza looks fantastic, but disappointingly does not taste as spectacular as Antico's or Double Zero's. Then again, Antico really sets the bar high in Atlanta. Vingenzo's version certainly isn't bad. The "DOP" designation stands for "Denominazione di Origine Protetta" or protected designation of origin -- basically, an Italian quality seal of approval for the tomato sauce. The gnocchi are tasty and served in a bowl. The cream sauce is rich, flavorful, and addicting. The dumplings themselves have ridges and are longer than the typical round and clumpy gnocchi. Soft, soothing, and satisfying, it's hard to go wrong with this dish. The braised pork may not be what you expect. I expected a solid cut of meat, but instead the pork is shredded and mixed into a generous heap of a type of shell pasta. The result is a tomato-pasta-pork blend with a bit of cheese. Simple and hearty, but not terribly exciting. There's a gelato display case that holds up to a dozen different gelato at any given time. All of the gelato flavors I've tried (chocolate hazelnut, espresso, tiramisu) have been delicious. The gelato is generally smooth and creamy. The espresso flavor has espresso beans inside for added crunch and a strong/bitter taste. Service is great. The servers are fun and James, in particular, is knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. Vingenzo's is located in a small brick strip mall on East Main St. There's sufficient parking directly outside.

Absolutely awesome. This is real pizza, the way it's made in Italy, not some NY or Chicago style excuse for pizza. You can feel the heat coming off the oven when you walk by. The pizza even comes out unsliced so you eat it with fork and knife just like in the old country. This is the only real pizza I've had in this side of the Atlantic.

Hands down the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to! We had a reservation and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Once we were seated we waited over an hour for our appetizers and then again for our dinner. On a Saturday night they ran out of bread....at an ITALIAN restaurant.... Hours after waiting for the food, it was terrible! The pasta was over cooked and slimy. Not to mention there was about a tablespoon of tomato sauce so in addition to soft slimy noodles- it was flavorless. The waitress was rude and not once apologized for the delayed food. Let's just say, the Rice Krispy cereal I ate when I got home was better than anything we unfortunately had to pay for here. We will not be back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I came here for a date night a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The made-in-house approach drew us in, and the service and food was quite good. From this experience, we thought it would be a good choice for a farewell meal for my in-laws. Last night did not go well, though. The server we had either suffered from RBF or really just was a truly unlikable person, and that always hurts the experience going in. I always assume that if I'm in the South any restaurant will have sweet tea, and even when I know they don't I still ask just as a helpful reminder that they ought to. Last time, our server gave the usual "No, but we have I in unsweet with sweetener." Last night's server didn't even give that option, and when I semi-jokingly said I always ask anyway she said that it won't help get it there. Well, how very nice of you. We ordered caprese and Rosemary bread for appetizers, but neither was great. The bread was completely encrusted in salt, so I'm thinking sodium bread may be more accurate. The caprese was advertised with the right description of including basil, but when it came out it was a mixed green salad with one solitary sprig of basil on the mozzarella and three roasted cherry tomatoes to split among four people. All of that said, the mozzarella sampler our first time was awesome. I had the sausage and pepper pizza, and I think that was the highlight of the entrees. I had to step out to take care of my infant daughter, and they did keep my food warm instead of letting it sit cold on the table, but that also toughened the crust, which you have to cut with a bread knife in an already difficult move. My wife and mil both enjoyed their pasta dishes, and my fil enjoyed the grilled chicken but had to send the veggies back because they were incredibly salty. From our first trip I would rate a four or five, but something about last night didn't sit well at all, so there's little chance we'll go back, at least for anything other than pizza, at least until we've had a chance to try other local places as well.

Wow! That's all I can say. The staff made me feel like a should be lucky I was allowed to eat here! Pizza selections were limited to 6 choices and no build your own! Really disappointed. Asked if I could swap pastas and it was a chore! Beer was very slow to come to the table. The price here is crazy and I will not visit again. I love downtown Woodstock Restaurants except this one.

Ehhh- being Italian I am a pretty big critic. Vincenzo's is one of the higher class restaurants in my area. When they first opened we decided to check them out. They featured a pizza that was topped with fig and different cheeses. DELISH!!! We were wowed on our first visit. Each visit after the first was a bit of a let down. Extremely pricy for the experience. They have an open kitchen as well as a very open seating area. The wine is poured into very small glasses which they say is the way that Italy offers wine. Well unfortunately I haven't been to Italy, but here in Woodstock, we like a larger sip of wine!! I'm eager to see some changes here.

Little pricey, but worth it. Upscale atmosphere with authentic Italian. It's in a league of its own compared to other local "Italian" restaurants. Don't get me wrong, I like the typical places with the best of them. V's is just out of the ordinary and a great change if you want something fresh and different. Yum! And a great date place.

I so wanted to love this place on my second visit after a mediocre prior visit. I wanted to give it a second chance with the hope that I simply didn't order the 'right' thing on visit #1. First off, 'it's not bread.' The first thing I expect in a great Italian restaurant is excellent Italian, crusty bread to set the stage for the remainder of the meal. Vingenzo's offering (upon request) of its flatbread/super thin pizza crust/bread (with air in the middle) with a very tiny bit of olive oil and grated parmesan cheese was highly unsatisfactory. It's just not bread. My friend and I both ordered the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola Dolce e Spinaci (potato dumplings with gorgonzola dolce cream sauce and spinach). While it was tasty, neither of us were bowled (no pun intended) over by it. The portion was quite small for the price and the gorgonzola cream sauce was so incredibly thin that I felt like I had ordered soup with some gnocchi and spinach in it. Hoping to finish the evening with a dessert that would 'wow' us and after being surprised that there was no tiramisu on the menu, we settled on the Torta di Ricotta (ricotta cheesecake with marsala soaked raisins and chocolate chips). Again, while somewhat tasty, it wasn't outstanding at all and we certainly weren't wowed by it. We both expected so much more from this restaurant. I hate being negative ever...about anything; however, I had to share our experience with the 'a little above average' food. On the positive side, the wine and cocktails were good...and our waiter was friendly and efficient.

Small portions, overpriced. I like the fact they make their own cheese & some pastas but the price for product is outrageous for the portion of pasta you get (lost in a big bowl). And $16.00 for a calzone that doesn't ooze with ingredients of cheesy goodness should be outlawed. Guess the cook was stingy on filling ingredients when they made ours Everything tasted ok, but were not wow'd and food was not phenomenal or exceptional by any means. And again, I don't know any Italian that doesn't over feed you except this place. Would I go back??? I'd rather spend the money to fly back to NYC and eat there. At least it would be worth the while.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
