A great place to stay! Very close to the beach! Beds are very comfortable and a wonderful breakfast and with snacks served throughout the day!
We LOVED The Beachview B&B! Everything about our stay was PERFECT! My husband and I booked The Loveshack for a Monday through Thursday in late August as a small getaway from our busy military lives. As we were passing through Savannah we got a call from Erin (the cook) asking our ETA. She wanted to be sure our room was completely ready for us if we arrived earlier than check in time. We got there around 1200 and found out we had been upgraded to Mary's Suite in the main house. The Loveshack is a block away from the main house, and evidently there was some construction going on at one of the nearby residences. Since there were other rooms available Karen didn't want the noise to bother us, so she put us in a different room. So I can't tell you much about The Loveshack, but I can tell you that I was not disappointed with Mary's Suite. It was perfect! Decorated in a comfortable beachy style and so neat and clean. Also, Erin had a bottle of red wine and a plate of fruit, cheese, and crackers waiting for us in the room. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic every morning... Fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, freshly baked breads, PLUS whatever Erin was whipping up hot in the kitchen. There was always a jar of cookies and coffee ready to brew. Juices, teas, lemonades... Plus bicycles were available for guest use. My husband and I biked everywhere on the little island. We got in about 10 miles a day! The Beachview really didn't leave much to be desired... Except (and this is my ONLY complaint) the wifi. My husband is taking online college courses, and to complete any of his work assignments we had to take his laptops to other establishments. In their defense they were trying fix the problem, but it just didn't happen during our stay. I would (and already have) recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone looking for a nice place to stay on Tybee!
This B&B is truly as good as it gets- Our "Waterscape" Room was tastefully decorated, spacious and clean as was the whole inn, from interior to exterior. Breakfasts were served every morning that were displayed attractively and tasted like homemade- which they were by either Erin or Karen. Karen, the owner, hosted a overly 5")) PM happy hour and tried to engage guests in conversation. The entire staff led by Karen were personable, genuine and contributed greatly to our stay. Beach view is located just a couple of bocks from the beach- no need to bring beach towels, sunscreen, cairns nor umbrellas- just relax. A fine choice for a vacation

Wet Willie’s

16 Tybrisa St,Ste B
Tybee Island, 31328
Reviews:
This review is more about the food and service than the drinks. The premade frozen drinks are what they are. They are the draw to this establishment. Once drawn in, I recommend the food. Breakfast at Wet Willie's (yup, I said breakfast) is really good, especially the grits. There is no line and the prices are reasonable, unlike many other Tybee breakfast spots. The bar menu is also quite tasty. The service is always quick and pleasant. Go ahead and quench your thirst and beat the heat with the drinks, but don't miss the food.
The husband and I needed a place to stop and stay dry when a sudden downpour rolled through Tybee. I'm glad he talked to me into Wet Willie's. It was my first time at a daiquiri bar, and I can't say I left disappointed. Customer service was on point without being annoying. I'm indecisive, so the bartender took it upon himself to mix up some great flavor combos for me to sample. I ended up going with the Chocolate Thunder (tasted exactly like a drinkable fudgecicle). I thought that would be it for me, but it was still raining so I figured "What the heck?" and had the bartender mix up a Pina Colada-Mango-Strawberry concoction while my hubby sipped on a Jack and Ginger (after he finished his White Russian). When the bartender noticed the rain had stopped, he brought our check without us having to ask and a couple of plastics bags to put on our bike seats to save our asses from getting soaked. We didn't try any of the food, but the frozen daiquiris were delightful!
I love Wet Willie's and NO I do not have a vagina. I am 100% man and I confess I love flavored alcohol frozen drinks from Wet Willie's. I still have my man card and no I will not give it up. For the men who refuse to get in touch with their "other" side, Wet Willie's also sells beer. The food is basically bar type food (burgers, etc.) and is surprising decent. Regarding this specific Tybee Beach Wet Willie's - If you sit at a table, versus the bar, wait service can be a little inconsistent - Place is about a block off the beach. Great location. - They do take plastic

My wife and I are on Tybee Island with family and we got away for a bit at this little gem. Jenny was our bartender and she is super friendly and fun. The daiquiris were great! I would highly recommend this place.
I, personally, do not care if the frozen drinks, music, dancing, or anything about this place is good. When the bartender is so rude she throws away your things sitting on the bar and then threatens to "call the f*ing cops if you don't get the f out of her bar" because you asked why she threw your stuff away and if you could dig your belongings out of the trash can, why would you ever go back? And mind you, I had not had a single drink because I was the DD. Glad I didn't give "her bar" my business that night and never again will I.
The door person is so rude that I would not piss on her if she was on fire on the side of the road. Did not actually make it in so can not review anything else.

Crab Shack

Reviews:
This was not a good choice for us. The food wasn't that good. We waited an hour for our food to come out, during that time the waiter came by to fill the drinks once. When my wife complained, the waiter said, "ma'am we seat 750 people and it takes some time to get food out". REALLY, an hour to serve 5 people steamed and boiled shell fish?
Visiting from Boston...this was definitely a unique experience...in the marshes haha Cute place complete with great patio seating overlooking the marsh/river, live exotic birds, and alligators below surrounding the restaurant ( a lot of them too!! not just a token few alligators to say you have them). We only stopped by briefly to try some of the food and got some shrimp and crab legs. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Like someone said...the seasoning makes it extra good and the butter isn't even needed. Very different and a must-try if you're not from the area.
4th visit here and I always get the crab shack sampler. Consists of crab (of course) crawfish, shrimp, mussels, potatoes, sausage, corn and a bowl of butter. Seafood is fresh and the food is good but don't expect to look cute eating food here. There's no getting around using your hands. The good thing is they have sinks around the restaurant. A nice chill spot where you can relax, eat some good seafood, and have a good time. Don't forget to feed the alligators and say hi to the parrots!

Lazaretto Creek Seafood

Reviews:
Limited selection but really really fresh seafood. The shrimp could not be fresher. Next to the shrimp boat docks
Doesn't get any fresher or friendlier than this. The dock is 20 feet from the market. They sell different sized shrimp and excellent prices, and will pack your seafood on ice. Also, I called after they were already closed. I told them I was on my way & they waited for me to come. Score.
Lazaretto Creek Seafood may have fresh shrimp off the boat, but the staff is unfriendly and the place did not appear sanitary. The employee that helped us did not wear gloves while handling the shrimp. She also dropped a shrimp on the floor, then proceeded to wash it off then put it in our bag of shrimp. Once the shrimp was bagged, it was placed on top of the tilapia that was sitting out for customers. After we left I did not feel comfortable with our batch of shrimp; I went to Bowie's on 1st Street instead and had a much better experience. It's also inconvenient as they only accept cash or check; no credit cards are accepted.
