Papi's is a refreshing break from all the fast food restaurants in the area. I enjoyed my Cuban sandwich and black beans and rice. Good prices, solid food, great location. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

So I have driven past this location thousands of times, thanks to everyone's reviews my wife and I decided to have lunch here today. GREAT Cuban sandwich and my wife loved the Jamaican Jerk Sandwich. This is a very nice alternative to your typical fast food burger joints. We will defiantly be back again. On aside note try the passion fruit smoothie.

Excellent food and service. We love trying different menu items. The Cuban sandwich is delicious and huge. It is always a great choice.

Never had a bad experience here, besides sitting on the patio and being attacked by bees LOL but other than that the food is always fresh and hot

It's going downhill. I had the ropa vieja and it was real dry. The rice and beans tasted funny. I think I will have my grandmother cook all my Latin food from now on.

  • Nida K.

This was a cool place. The flavors were a little bit bland, but being in this part of the country, I can see why they would do that. Not sure if I would come back. If I do, I will ask for more spice in it.

  • Caleb M.

May I first say that the food is awesome! It's always amazing! But that is all. The service was awful. Not once were drink refills offered. And we waited forever for our food. Plus it was so hot in the restaurant. The servers just stood around waiting for their food to come up. My family loves this place, but our last few trips have all been the same. Hot, slow, and unattended.

  • Brandi W.

The food is pretty good. I wanted something a little different. The serving sizes are decent and the prices are reasonable.

  • Melisa S.

We go here to eat every few months, mainly when I am craving plantains and haven't visited my family to have my mom make some. I seem to always order the same thing, the ropa vieja which I have never had an issue with, it is always so good! Only complaint I have is that occasionally the bread has been tough(old?) and they no longer serve maltas! But service has always been excellent and prices are fair.

I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. My food was fresh, hot, and good! I ordered the jerk chicken plate which came with a salad, bread, yellow rice, black beans, and plaintains- for only $8.99. Im usually not a fan of black beans but theirs were so good- I ate half by themselves. The chunks of chicken were huge with a good, seasoned taste- beware: their jerk chicken is not very spicy. Yellow rice -Good. Plaintains- a little too sweet and soft for me. I also ordered the Cuban Steak Wrap(5.99)- very good, but messy with the leaky sauces. Want something different, try this Restaurant!!

We've ridden past this place a couple of times and said we'd check it out, but never did. Finally did today and oh.my .goodness. I had the best jerk chicken sandwich that I think I've ever had! I wasn't expecting very much from it, so when I bit in and tasted the wonderful flavors, it was quite refreshing. The owner, I presume, was very attentive and patient since we couldnt decide what to order. Nice, clean environment. I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms in restaurants and theirs was clean and cute :) Will def be back.

I love Cuban food and Papi's is amazing! I order the Cuban sandwich with extra pickles and mustard and it never fails to sate my craving for Cuban food.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday night date. It exceeded our expectations. Our drinks were wonderful and strong. I got the fish tacos. There was a serving of three with a very flavorful green sauce. He had a Cuba pork wrap. He gave me the other half and we shared. This is a great spit to order a couple of dishes and share. We will be going back.

  • Tesia R.

A friend and I were greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly during lunch. This was my first experience at Papi's and as much as I hoped to like the food, I didn't. I had the classic Cuban sandwich, and a Cuban coffee. The coffee was exactly what I expected and I enjoyed it... One very small cup of VERY strong coffee. The Cuban sandwich was warm and perfectly made, looking just like the pictures on the menu. I however did not enjoy the taste. I have not been back to Papi's yet, but I do plan to give it another try. Perhaps food first, then coffee?

  • Nicole H.

Ropa veja (sp?) is absolutely fantastic and my fav dish and I'm always drawn back to it every single time I visit Papi's. They've semi recently expanded and I think it was much needed. Good Cuban food.

Quick Tip: If you are dining in seat yourself. I have been here a couple of times, but this was my daughter's first visit. She enjoyed the entire meal! She had the Shrimp tacos, corn tortilla. She loved them! I had the Medianoche sandwich, it is my favorite! It is always good. Dessert is an experience. Guava and cream cheese empandas. They are severed hot, clearly handmade and crisp. Customer service is excellent. My daughter is already asking when are we going back.

We had a bad experience previously with a server. We've been several times since then and had excellent customer service. The food is outstanding! I'm glad that we gave them another try.

When I sfirst heard about Papi's, I was excited because I had recently moved from Miami and I love authentic Cuban food. The evening went to go eat with my family. Unfortunately we had a server by the name of Emilio. Sweet guy but sucks as a server. The food was fine (not authentic) but the service war very, very poor. He took forever to take our order and food. When we received it, he forgot to bring my appetizer which I just didn't bother with. My check never made it so I got up and asked the bar for the tab and paid. Won't go back, though.

Consistent service and tasty food per usual. I always call in and get it to go. Yummy ropa vieja, yellow rice and black beans. Fresh baked crusty bread...

I love Papi's! Always great food and friendly staff. They serve beer here so that's a plus. The food is always a good value for the money but they offer Goupon's regularly so if you keep your eyes open you can get an amazing value! The Cuban sandwich is terrific and the wraps are all amazing but I particularly love the jerk chicken. I try to get there a little before the peak of the lunch hour to beat the rush as this is not fast food, but they are not slow either. Try it, you'll like it!!

Having been a Henry resident for over 8 years, I have been kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. The ingredients are very fresh and accurately prepared. The Cuban sandwich is a throwback to the flavors I experienced while visiting Miami in the early 90's with flavors reminiscent of ol' Havana. The Congris is very well prepared and alive with flavor. The owner is always there and willing to greet patrons with a welcome smile. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to try something different and sure to have a truly tasty dining experience.

Scratch the chocolate cake!!!! I drove all the way over there craving cake... Unfortunately they changed it.... now its all wet , spongy and milky... gross. I also ordered the steak wrap and sweet plantains along with 2 empanadas, all of each were good but lacking in portion... Go figure. Sorry Papi's but I feel the need to drop a star.

After reading all the wonderful reviews, I couldn't pass up the chance to visit Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Cuisine in Stockbridge, GA. Being raised in a highly populated Spanish & Caribbean community, I was skeptical of the quality of Cuban food in GA. I just had to check it out for myself. Papi's passed my test with flying colors! The staff promptly greeted me and the service was fast with a friendly smile. I ordered the daily special (shredded beef) with yellow rice & black beans. To my delight Papi's passed the taste test. Large portions, Good food and Great customer Service!

Went to this place after a long day of moving! While I had driven by this place a number of times, it took me years to realize that this was the same Papi's as Papi's midtown....you just dont expect a place like this in Stockbridge, GA....so I never really made the connection. While the service at the Papis midtown is a bit ummmmm....sucky? Papi's in Stockbridge was the exact opposite. I was greeted a number of times, but most noticeably by manager/cashier whose greeting actually weirded me out a bit (in a good way). The dining room was extremely clean, and well kempt, and just like downtown the food smelled amazing. I chose to go the healthy route with a "Steak Salad"--it comes with Cuban Steak, and all the "fixins", along with oil/vinegar. The salad was amazing, and very "light", I didnt leave stuffed as a pig, but I definitely felt satisfied. It took every bit of power in me, not to re-up and get some plantains or a cuban sandwich, but I held back:) This restaurant is definitely a bit more "corporatey" than the original Papi's in midtown, so it lacks a bit of the original flavor, but nonetheless proves to be a satisfying option for cuban food.

This is VERY good Cuban food! I had the chicken breast. It was some of the best chicken I had ever had! The servings are HUGE, too! I ate it for lunch and dinner. My mother had the Cuban sandwich. She said it was fabulous! I would recommend to anyone! The people there are also very nice and are happy to explain what anything is.

Wasn't expecting a bright, new, clean place to get a Cuban sandwich. Great, BIG, delicious Cubans. Perhaps the pork was a little dry. Otherwise great lunch spot. Full bar. Great service.

If you ever have lunch in Stockbridge, Papi's is the place to go. This location is even better than the one in Midtown. They make a great Cuban sandwich. It's worth stopping by if you're driving past on I-75.

My family is from Cuba and I was raised in Miami, Florida. So, having some experience in this area, I can say that hands down Papi's is the best Cuban restaurant that I have been to in the entire metro Atlanta area. They have traditional cooked food and daily specials to tantalize your taste buds when you're not in the mood for a sandwich. I have driven by the Midtown Papi's, and it seems a bit small. The Stockbridge store has a great eating area and outside patio. Don't forget to try their desserts - I highly recommend the flan - and their non-traditional American drinks and beer!!!! Oh, don't forget the Cafe con Leche and/or Cuban Coffee with your dessert!

I'm glad that I stopped in here the other day. It's a great place. I used to go to Cafe Chavez but they closed down years ago. Finally found a good place to get a jerk chicken sandwich again.

I've had a lot of great Cubans especially in Atlanta, but stopped by here with my family in Henry County and was overly satisfied. Not only was it delicious, there is plenty of different combinations. The mango juice is refreshing and mango sauce is addicting! After visiting found that there was one in Atlanta. Things just keep getting better!

Food is always great. Service on Tuesday was the worse. Waited so long for menu we never got one. No water no utensils. Other people seated after us were greeted and give menus. We left. When call back to talk to the manager was first toll hang on and then after 11 minutes on hold the phone was picked up and we were told there was no manager on site. Brianna self described "one with the purple hair" is beyond rude.

What has happened here in the last few years there has been a decline in food taste and quality? Only the owners would know, but you can be certain that it has declined. I've been a regular here since 2011 and posted a review with 4 stars. I spent a total of $72 on 6 people with one kids meal so about $10 p/p with a $10+ tip included. Since my last visit, the dining room has expanded to accommodate more guests and the extra space was needed. The decor has remained the same and there additional seating outside on metal tables & chairs. The service was horrible and may have been due to the automatic gratuity included in our bill that our server was going to receive. Our server showed up a total of 4-5 times in our which included, seating, bring appetizers, our initial drinks, once for water refills-which I had to request, and delivery of our final bill. The food was OK and lacked the flavor I was accustomed to in the past. First, the yellow rice seems lighter in color & flavor. Second, the garlic sauce is not as thick and was watered down. Third, the beef (bistec) sandwich was over cooked & burned. It did not have enough meat on the sandwich to even call it that and that's shameful. Fourth, the two natural juices I ordered at the beginning of our service, came to us about 30 minutes later and the guava was extremely sweet. Finally, since our server was not around we had to get someone to get our bill & to go drinks. All this on mother's day. :-(

Saturday May 23rd we were in the mood for some Puerto Rican food and Papi's Cuban (Stockbridge location) was the closest place we could find. Arrived at about 1:30....the place was mostly empty and we were told to sit wherever we wanted. To our surprise some of the items on the menu were Puerto Rican recipes. Had the ropa vieja plate....very tasty but a bit overpriced at $13.00 and my son had the ropa vieja cuban wrap, he enjoyed his food too. Had the pineapple milkshake based on a Yelpers review....DELICIOUS!! Ordered a side of beef empanadas and papa relena.....seasoning on the beef was good but the papa relena had a funny taste and I'm thinking it was the oil that they fried it in. Will definitely return.....

Being from Miami I should have known better. The food was just ok...nothing great. Vaca frita was so dried it almost made me choke. Ropa Vieja was average. Black beans were about the only thing that was good, we skipped dessert and ordered cafe con leche, cortadito and a colada all 3 were horrible. This was a big disappointment. service was mediocre. Spend your money elsewhere.

Grabbed a quick bite to go. I ordered a kids meal just cause lol. I had the little Rey which is the kids version of the Cuban Sandwich. I loved the fries. I've been to this location in the past at least twice. I'm sure I will come back. The staff was friendly with smiling faces.

Similar to Wizard P., we were passing through the area on our way back from Atlanta Motor Speedway, and we were starving. So, I pulled up Yelp, and searched "food", because I wasn't craving anything in particular. Papi's was the first one to come up since it was at the exit we were about to pass, we decided why not. Walked in, and got seated immediately. They had a picture menu, which was helpful, cause we just ordered what we thought looked good lol. Ordered: Vaca frita Pollo a la milanesa. Both were DELICIOUS. The chicken was moist and juicy all around, and the melted cheese on top added incredible flavor to it. Although, boyfriend wasn't too big of a fan of the yellow rice. He prefers his rice somewhat dry, and the yellow rice was a bit moist for his liking. He LOVED the plantains too. I've never seen his eyes roll that far back to his head from food before. So, that tells you this place is good. The vaca frita was yummy, too. Not as intricate as the chicken since it's just pulled beef with onions and seasoning, but I like simple, so it was perfect for me. I added some hot sauce, and I was good to go. A LOT of beef though. I could of used more rice lol. We made a unanimous decision that we would hit up the local Papi's near us, and make it a regular spot to dine at. It is just THAT good that we can't let this be our only Papi's experience, however, being an hour away from where we stay at, this exact place can't be our regular lol.

It's not bad it's decent, I mean what can you expect from a chain Cuban restaurant in Georgia? If you've never had Miami Cuban food you will find the food tasty, if you have then it will be enough to give you a slight fix and feel slightly homesick as you remember Miami or Cuba :D

I normally don't give 5's... That being said PaPis has earned each and every star! I got the Vaca Fritas with the yellow rice and plantains by recommendation from another patron waiting in the line for takeout. Take about full of flavor! I like a little spice to my food so I added the habanero sauce to the meat. It's not over powering but gives it just a little extra BAM! If you're a local or just passing by like me this place is worth stopping in for a bite to eat. I sat at the bar and the assistant manager Jennifer and my server Madison were both very knowledgeable about food prep, ingredients and were just so sweet and friendly. Great customer service!

Sat at the bar where the bartender happened to be the owner. Very friendly but isn't rooting for the Broncos this Superbowl BOOOOOO. Lots of people were here for carry out. They're planning on having a Papi's location at the ATL airport. The serving of Vaca Frita's was huge! Had enough for another meal the next day. It was best when mixed with the yellow rice and the beans. Not sure if it's how it's prepared or cuz I'm a grilled chicken and egg whites sort of girl but the aftertaste lasted me into the next morning.

3 stars because I really enjoy the food. I also noticed that they have expanded, which is nice. However, tonight the service was poor. We were greeted as we should be and told to sit wherever we like. The blues that my daughter wanted to say that could have been wiped down a little bit better but we understand when it's busy. Our server Emilo? I think, was sweet but unfortunately Inattentive to our needs. It about 20 minutes to get our order taken, though we weren't ready right away, I specifically ask him to come back in two minutes, he came back and 15 to 20 minutes. By the time our meal was over we actually have been in the restaurant for over an hour. That's way too long for what was supposed to be a quick bite turned into dinner. I should have just taken her to Taco Bell as she asked. (I realize it's made relatively fresh to order) The management needs to teach their servers to be more considerate of their guests time. I will think twice about stopping here when dropping my daughter off at her dads house next time. It's a shame because the Yucca and the Cafe Con Leche is delicious :-)

  • Foodlover T.

Not really sure why this resturant would be considered a Cuban resturant.. The cooks need to go to Miami for a course in Cuban cooking.. This is meant for individuals who don't know what cuban food is and just need something different from the basic fast food.. service was errr I had to ask for everything.. waited for the check for about 10 min after we ate.. Bottom line keep moving if you're looking for Cuban food..

The empanada samplers are delicious. I had Rey's cuban sandwich which was good. My husband had the jerk chicken dinner which was also good. We shared our meals and had leftovers for the next day. We would definitely return since this is the closest Cuban restaurant in our area.

We stopped by on the way back from our honeymoon. Never having had Cuban food before, we weren't really sure what to expect, but wow, this place does not disappoint. I was concerned that perhaps the food would be spicy, as I am a spice-wimp, but our server said that none of the food is spicy. She was right. We ordered the empanada sampler, pollo vaca frita, a Cuban sandwich, and the flan. Empanadas were light and yummy -- the guava/cream cheese and ham and cheese were our favorites. The pastry was light and flaky, and not greasy. They are LARGE empanadas, so it makes for a huge appetizer, as it's listed. The black bean soup was hugely enjoyed by my husband, and he's not easy to please. He had the Cuban sandwich and could barely finish it, but loved it. The pollo vaca frita is misnamed, as it only has chicken in it, not chicken and beef. The portion size is huge and very flavorful. The onions are sliced ever so thin and mixed well with the meat. The yellow rice was flavorful and not at all dry. The menu, as I recall, showed some veggies in the rice, but it comes as only rice, with no veggies, which was fine with me. The plantains were delicious -- I've had them before, as cooked by a Puerto Rican friend of mine, but I liked Papi's better. The salad is just tossed onto the plate, and I didn't see any dressing to go with it, but I was way too full to eat it anyway. I got the flan to go. The flan was out of this world. I waited a couple of hours to eat it, and it was still moist and very flavorful. My margarita was standard but good. My husband's beer was nice and cold. Service was really good, we had immediate seating, and the place was very clean. There were several Latino families eating there when we were there -- and to me, this usually means the food is authentic (maybe I'm wrong, but that's always been my take). My suggestion: order one entree and share it, because the portions of food are much bigger than most places, and will easily fill two people. We'd definitely be back if we lived in the area. Now we will have to look for Cuban food in Indianapolis.

I have eaten here several times for lunch, always ordering the lunch special. The food comes out quick... who has time for a long lunch? The service from the servers is good. The manager is very personable and friendly he always greets you with a smile and makes you feel at home.

Papi's never disappoints! My husband and I love the Cuban sandwiches, black beans, and yellow rice. We usually get take out, but we have also dined in. Great food, and great service!

So, the cuban food was good. I had a cuban sandwich and my wife had the veggie cuban, and both were pretty good. Nothing wrong with them, the only reason that I wouldn't give those a five is because they weren't spectacular. One thing that was weird: normally I like maduros more than tostones, but not here. Their maduros weren't all that great, but their tostones were gigantic and pretty good. Not sure if that was just a one time thing or if that is the way it always is at Papi. My wife had the milkshake and it was pretty good, though a little pricey. Seating outside was nice, though, if you get a smoker next to you, you're kind of stuck.

Wow. We were passing through North Georgia on our way from Florida to Kentucky when we decided to stop in for dinner. I pulled up Yelp on the smartphone and as soon as we saw Papi's we decided to try it out. It was boiling outside when we spilled from the parking lot through the door. We were seated at the only free table - the one near the bathrooms - but we managed to move to another one that became free. And that's where the fun started. We ordered two of the Cuban chicken dishes, a few sides and some extra plates - none of us are big eaters - and when they arrived we tucked in with gusto. Half an hour later, satisfied and replenished, we went on our merry way, pausing to tip our waitress generously. To put it bluntly, the food was excellent and the service was great. We will be stopping here again. You should too.

This is the best place. I grew up in south Tampa and ate at some of the best Cuban restaurants around. But this place really takes me back to some good Cuban food

I've visited this Papi's location for the past two years and have yet to be disappointed by their food or their service. The size of their servings makes their meals well worth the price!! They have a wide selection of different lunch/dinner options and many sandwiches to choose from. The ropa vieja is outstanding; just make sure that you order the yellow rice with the black beans with your dinner. I read another review mentioning that the dinner salad is a little lacking (to which I can agree), but the house dressing that they offer makes the salad quite delicious!

I was happy to find an alternative choice on our road trip to the coast, but the food was disappointing. Pork was dry, salad should not have made it on the plate (old lettuce and dried out carrot strips), and the tostones were seriously greasy. Plaintains were very tasty, and the tamale was like a sweet cornbread. Would not return... Cheers-

I think you'll get great service when you come to Papi's in Stockbridge. I wish I could comment on the entire menu, but the first time I came here I tried the Cuban Sandwich and that has been my go-to item ever since. The Cuban is one of the best sandwiches in town. It makes and excellent lunch or dinner. Try it with a side of croquettas, although my colleagues swear by the tostones. This place is on my regular rotation for those night I don't want to cook. Place a pick-up order and it'll be ready in about 10 minutes. Quickly and excellently prepared. If you come in to eat, consider the daily special. While I have always ordered my Cuban, I have been to dinner with colleagues who have really enjoyed the specials. (I guess this part of my recommendation is based on other recommendations)

Every two weeks, my work takes me to Stockbridge, which I consider to be the beginning of south Georgia. It is flat country, dotted by Golden Corrals, Brandsmarts, and gas stations that resemble drag strips... In other words, NASCAR country. Recently, I had to work late, and by the time I was getting off, the slim food pickings were even slimmer... Thank goodness for Yelp, as a quick search showed that there was a Papi's one exit down, near the Henry Medical Center (on a side note: it is good to know where the local hospital is, just in case one gets sick eating at one of the numerous sports pubs, fast food joints, or buffets - there are no shortage of these in this part of town. I ordered the jerk chicken, with cabbage, and rice/beans. The jerk sauce wasn't as spicy as I like, and I prefer jerk that is grilled rather than baked, but damn, this chicken was moist, chunky, all white-meat goodness. It hit the spot hard, on a night like this, and the 30 mile trip home wasn't so hard to swallow...

I come here for one thing. The pan con bistec. Its a cuban steak and cheese sandwich that I can't get enough of. Small potatoes, cheese, mayo and steak on cuban bread. I love the fact that they use just the right amount of mayo. So many places make sandwiches that are either COVERED in mayo or you can't taste it at all. Here, its perfectly in between. Its one of the, if not the, best steak sandwich on the south side of Atlanta.

Now I get it. This place is all about bread..Cuban bread. As an American raised in the Caribbean one of the things that I missed the most is good bread. I usually buy bread baguettes and bake then at home but it is not the same. Thankfully. now I know that I can always go to Papis for a good Caribbean pork sandwich. The restaurant was clean (I went to the one in Stockbridge), service was good, the waitress was bilingual, and they serve Malta (Malt) :-) I tried one of their signature dishes Masitas de Puerco which is basically tender cubed pork marinated with Cuban spices and mojo sauce. They are served with congris rice, tostones (YUMOO!!) Cuban bread with butter and a nice salad. I tried their homemade "flan" and ask for guava pastries to go. Their flan could be better. Personally, I have notice that not to many people really know how to make a good "flan". The problem was not flavor but the consistency of the "flan". A flan should have a smooth, creamy, silky like texture, almost like a creme brulee. For me, their flan was too hard and I was turn off by the consistency. Their guava pastries did not have powder sugar and my daughter totally hate them. This is one of her favorite pastries and it was upsetting to see her throwing them to the trash can. Overall, I will definitely be a repeated customer. I really loved the bread, the pork and tostones. I wish they could improve their "flan" recipe and put some powder sugar on their pastries because it felt like eating a doughnut without glaze or a cake without frosting.

I had a passionfruit cuban milkshake, which was okay. It was a bit sweet for me. It's definitely something you should share with someone else, since it is in a tall cup. I ordered pork plate with bean rice, small salad, some interesting banana fried pancakes, and a roll. The pork cubes were a bit dry for me, but it tasted fine. The bean rice and banana pancakes tasted good. The salad was okay, but they only have the mango dressing and ranch dressing as choices. I did not like the mango dressing and it did not seem fresh. I wish they had more dressing selections. The portion was good, but the price was high too ($10.99 plate). The roll (sliced bread) was pretty blah. Not great. I also ordered the fried banana chips and garlic sauce. It was interesting, but I prefer to eat the chips by itself. It is greasy too. Maybe I ordered the wrong things. I wanted to try something new, but found nothing special about the food. What is considered authentic Cuban/Carribbean food? Suggestions anyone? Service was good. Location is good. Temperature inside was warm/hot. They have celing fans on, but it was still warm. The background music was a bit loud.

Very poor customer service, waitress never came after sitting for 15 mins on a non busy day. Manager was very rude when asked why no service. I have eaten at the Stockbridge location for years but I would never go back.

I went here last night for dinner and I was really looking forward to it, unfortunately I was very disappointed. I ordered jerk chicken and jerk pork, the meat was ridiculously tough and had a strong vinagery taste. The rice and beans were good and the plaintains were the best thing on the plate. I am going to give their Cuban sandwhich a try - but over all this experience was a huge disappointment for me. *sigh*

My last experience at this location was some years ago so I'll play it safe and say 3 stars. However, I recently bought some coupons and will be returning in the next few weeks. I will update what I thought then. I do remember that the food was decent enough for me to buy coupons but not mind-blowing enough to go out of my way to head there again since the first time. Off of I-75. If coming I-75 South get off of exit 224 Eagles Landing. Make a left (back over 75). Then keep to your left lane. You will see Rock Quarry on your left. Make the left... you will pass Dairy Queen and soon you will see Papi's on your left. Very easy to spot. The place is so very clean and the food looked very good. I remember the aesthetics but not the food. Will write again.

WORTH THE DRIVE...Love Papis! Great place for good Cuban food. The service is ok (could be better), but the food will make you forget the service. Almost anything on the menu is delicious and I would recommend the cuban sandwich. This is a great place to visit on the weekends or in the early afternoon. Happy eating.

I feel as if it takes too long to get my food, especially during busy times. Their takeout waiting area is pretty small, so my angst is probably derived from feeling like I'm starving to wondering if that order they're bringing up is mine . . . . . But dear goodness, I feel like Winnie the Pooh once I do eat. It's so good. It can get expensive pretty quick, but this is the only Papi's I've eaten at.

Papi's I have always been a fan of. This location is the first Papi's I ever ate at and seems to still be my favorite, I have only eaten at two other locations. Papi's is a great place for lunch if you are looking for something different than your everyday fast food of sub shop. They have great Cubans that you can get a variety of meets on, their yellow rice and black beans is always a great choice, we had their planteens today which I thought were very good and I got fries today instead of the black beans and rice, which were very good also.

We stopped here en route from Florida to North Caroline. What a great place for lunch--their Cuban sandwich is just wonderful. Papi was behind the counter and making sure his customers were being cared for. Good Cuban/Caribbean cooking was about the last thing I expected to find in a suburb of Atlanta. Great food, good service from a wait staff with a great attitude--would definitely eat here again.

Best Cuban food that I've had since the last time I was in Miami, we had the ropa vieja and the breaded steak, both were excellent, great tasting black beans with yellow rice, friendly manager and or owner who was going around the tables and asking everyone if everything was ok. I was very pleased, will return.

If you haven't had a jerked chicken sandwhich from Papi's then you are very much missing out. Go NOW and get one. Just be sure to put some Cholula hot sauce on it and also be sure to come back to Yelp and thank my review for putting you on track. As far as service, this location is top notch. The lunch time manager always offers a warm greeting to myself and my family when we dine there. He appears to passed this amiable attitude onto the location's relatively new wait staff. So, great food, great service. All around great place.

When I first started coming here a few years ago, I was skeptical of eating Cuban food for the first time...and it was great!! The meal I usually get when I come is called the Saturday. Thin slices of flavorful meat, served with rice, beans, bread, salad, and plantains!! Ever since that day, I cant stop going there. They also have a great meal selection for vegetarians a well. The manager, and the staff are so friendly, and its worth the drive. Traffic on Rock Quarry Road can be annoying, so be careful!!

This place is fantastic. The service was great. I went for the first time on a Tuesday night and went back Wednesday. The food is delicious, very flavorful, but not overdone. The dinner specials are very inexpensive (~8.99) and large portions. Meat, rice, beans, plantains, bread and a small salad. The salad is fresh and the plantains are worth the trip. I have a decent appetite, and both times I left food on the table. The menu has lots to choose from sandwiches to entrees. I can't wait to come back here.

Average place with good food. Service was iffy and dessert was alright. The Cuban Steak Wrap and the Mango Caribbean Milkshake were the only part.
