Best little whole in the wall on the island! You can feed the kids cheap, the hot dogs are delicious! No air conditioning but it's always fast and delicious! Easy walk from the pier.
My kids and I think this place is the best. ANd they look forward to returning (it seems like every day) ever August when we return to SSI. Ketchup and Mustard dog, chili cheese dog, kraut and mustard dog, or even a plain dog for the doggie. It's all good! Love the staff, love everything about it.
A grilled hot dog with chili from Hot Dog Alley on summer day on Saint Simons island.....life doesn't get much better!

Friendly staff, fast and excellent service. Variety selection on menu and good prices.
I would hardly think to review a place in this price point let alone a franchise but this place was so exceptional. The service was amazing and the food was really good. I was impressed with the wings.
They have fantastic chicken strips. I've been going to this Larry's for over 6 years. They are always nice and the food is always good. Plus, the location is great if you are walking around the island.

Awesome food! Staff was friendly. Wasn't microwaved food... Best biscuit sandwich I've ever had. I'd go back every chance I have. Real small town feel.
This is a small family owned and operated place. All I can say is everything was very good and I highly recommend it.
This place is great! I'd highly recommend the pigmento sandwich. Great family owned and operated place with a relaxed atmosphere. Only reason this gets 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact that it's cash only!

I have not stayed here but know those who have and they are fans. I have been in the pub many times and highly recommend it. Drop in here for a pre-dinner drink or nightcap and you'll get friendly service, great conversation, and a unique setting.
We had a blast at the Pub last weekend. Always a nice crowd that doesn't get rowdy or too loud. We like sitting outside by the pool. Fair prices, good live music, and great bartenders.
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is charming & the staff is very friendly. Very romantic!

Coastal Kitchen

102 Marina Dr
St. Simons, 31522
Reviews:
This restaurant is on a marina pier on. Very nice setting! Employees are attractive and friendly. Food is first rate. Very nice raw oysters with a fresh flavor and none of the mushy texture gulf oysters can sometimes have. Fried shrimp (no breading) were just right with the slight crunch they have when they are not overcooked . They were served in a fine, slightly piquant sauce with really good cheese grits- best I've had since The Jefferson Hotel. My partner had the shrimp with a hotter tomato sauce and grits with cheddar cheese- just sharp enough. He was very satisfied. Homemade ice cream was worth having. Only the crust on the pecan pie was a disappointment- too thick and without much flavor. All in all a great experience! By the way, there is very little else near Brunswick. The drive from the La Quinta Motel is well worth it.
Had dinner here tonight, and it was so good, we couldn't wait to get back and write a review. We discovered Coastal Kitchen here on Yelp. After being extremely disappointed last night with the Fredericka House, we decided to make tonight's choice based on reviews. We started off with 2 appetizers, lobster nachos and fried calamari. The nachos were to die for! Fresh guacamole, and pure deliciousness. The fried calamari was an Asian style dish, so I didn't really care for it... but everyone else at the table loved it. For entrees, we ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi that came with this creamy basil risotto. It was excellent. The others ordered the blackened Red Snapper that came with crawfish mac n cheese. It was also delicious. Because both dishes were so wonderful, we swapped a lot of bites off of each plate. To finish things off, we ordered their homemade ice cream and key lime pie. The ice cream was made with fresh blueberries and was fantastic. Overall, it was the best food we have ever had at St. Simons. Best way to end our trip!
Better than before! Great waterfront views & the lobster tacos deserve a try. Drinks are served quite nicely on the veranda & wait staff were very attentive.

Iguanas Seafood Restaurant

This was recommended by one of the local fishermen on Jekyll island. Good recommendation Captain Eric! Family had a great time. We got our table in half the time we were told. Menu was simple but great choices. They bragged about their fried shrimp and rightfully so. We had a party of 11including 2 children. Every one enjoyed their food. Shrimp was fried well and not over breaded! Crab cakes were good and not too breaded. Kids enjoyed the complimentary ice cream. Check it out if you are near St. Simon Island GA.
Eh it's ok! Not the best seafood. But good. I will say the customer service is awesome and the food is good. I feel like it's over priced for the quality. Seems like a tourist spot that may get lots of business because of location. Couldn't really say much about the food. I packed most of it. It was just ok. The appetizer was good, we ordered shrimp. Can't really go wrong with that! If you are visiting maybe just go for appetizers but save your money for a better seafood spot in town. Wouldn't come back, nothing to rave about.
I must say as a local, I have never eaten at Iguanas. It just always seemed like a tourist place for me, so I never went. That was until last week (lunch). I ordered the fried shrimp which was very tasty. The sides were decent (coleslaw and pasta salad) and the apps we got (parmesan grilled oysters and bacon wrapped shrimp) were awesome, taste-wise. I also ordered a Pina-Colada which I enjoyed very much. Our waitress was great and attentive and the food came out quickly and hot. The only thing I did not care for was the hush puppies, which were a little small and overcooked. Price-wise it was a little more higher than I usually want to pay, but we had a guest with us and they also thought the food was great, so that was all that mattered.
