We went to dinner at Ben's and couldn't have been happier. With our family of five (Kids 11,9 &2) and my 16 year old niece, we arrived around 4:30pm and we were greeted with fast and friendly service. The food was incredible and the price was very affordable! We even made it there for happy hour and had $2 off our beers! Excellent experience - I would definitely recommend!

Renovations looked great, burger was decent. The establishment could use some experienced people. The cook didn't know how to toss chicken fingers in hot sauce, not to mention the chicken fingers looked like they came precooked, frozen out of a bag. Handcut fries would be great too. Good selection of beer, I planned on staying and trying a few but was given my check before I'd even finished my first beer without requesting it. Seemed like we were being rushed at 8 o'clock at night. I tried to get the bartender to put on the game but none of the staff new how to operate the tv. The owner had the tv above the bar on preset showings that loop so I guess there is no watching live sports. Great looking place, you can tell they put alot into the renovations, if the food and service would catch up I would go back.

Another over-priced plain Jane food place. I guess their fixed expenses are the same as anywhere though so they have to charge what they need to pay the rent. I suppose their market is people who like plain food, and in Savannah that is a valid market. I got the shredded chicken sandwich. It was not seasoned or anything. Just chicken with lettuce and tomato. There were no unique sauces--just yellow mustard sitting on the table. They are also a place with TVs in the dining room. I'm sure some people are happy with all this, but it's not for me.

Good burgers, they are a little pricey though. This place takes a bit of time to cook your burger, but it comes out great. Good for more than a 30 min lunch. Steak fries are wonderful as is the red velvet cake, I say try a Greek burger.

I had been told that this place was the best to go to for a burger. Well, don't was your time of the ton of money that it takes to visit. I was not greeted when I came in so I wasn't sure where someone that wanted take out should go (there were no signs either). So I walked up to the service area and someone took my order, didn't ask if I was eating there or to go. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take so I sat down to wait only to be brought my food in a bag, when I decided I would stay and eat there. I hadn't been given a total or asked to pay either just shortly after my food arrived was a bill for over $12 dropped on the table next to me. All I got was a cheese burger, fries and a diet coke. $12 Really? The food is not bad at best but in no way warrents a price tag like that. I will be happy to spend my money in other ways and other places, rather then going back again. Plus they only take check or cash, that was not explained durning my order. Lucky I hit the atm earlier in the week.

I enjoyed the Greek burger for lunch. Burger and a beer came to $19 so it is a little pricey for every day lunch but quality is worth it. The dining room is well kept but not large so get there early in the evening as I imagine it fills up. Good beer list and had a nice conversation with the owner. Free wifi also important. I will return for lunch or dinner in the near future.

Bens Neighborhood Grill & Tap is a pleasant surprise in Midtown, Savannah. Newly renovated with excellent beer on tap, great food, and weekly live music. The service is what separates this place from the others.

I love Ben's new renovations!! & that he now serves beer and has a happy hour! I ordered the gyro and onion rings...lots of food for the money, for those who think it is pricey, It is a bargain for good quality food. If you want a better price go to McDonald's

Service was excellent, food was on point, but the beer was the best! Loved seeing a craft beer joint in midtown. Ben's did a really great job of revamping the whole place, will def be back!

Great place, super friendly atmosphere. I can see myself visiting here again soon. Would love to see cocktails and some happy hour prices. Do love the the "Two Fiddy" Tuesday prices on cans. Apparently this place has been around for awhile. New look is good and more people should visit and post about this little gem hidden. Also should get domestics in the can for the Tuesday special. If you like spicy definitely order the Ghost Cheese on your food. Salut!

I love the burgers, fries and salads at Ben's but the prices are really high for food. Great beer selection and those prices are great. Just can't afford to spend $30 for two people for lunch.

Great beer list! Food was good as well. Service was very good considering every table was filled. If you like good beer go by.

I discovered this place over 20 yrs ago and at 1st the food was incredible. As time went on it started going downhill Fast so much so that I vowed never to comeback. Well years pasted & i mellowed so after reading a recent review I decided oh what the heck one last time won't kill me . So we stopped in and ordered two burgers & a slice of cake to go and went home to issue a verdict. Let me say they're back to doing what they did in the beginning, what made me fall in love with them from the beginning. To me it's hands down the best burger in town and they use grass-fed beef . Yes it's a bit pricey but at least here a side comes with your burger unlike other places I won't name.
