Among all the trendy dessert places, cakes, cupcakes, donuts, etc., this one is our favorite. It's also pretty much the closest to home, so that works in its favor. We've tried some others that are nearby and not so nearby, and yet keep coming back here because it satisfies. There are free samples in the store and at occasional events like the Sandy Springs Farmers Market. This month's flavor of the month is White Chocolate Blueberry, which was wonderful, and I'm guessing pumpkin will be next month's, so I'm looking forward to that.
wholly moley cakes- these things are delicious. I first tried them at the farmers market on Johnson Ferry and roswell. The first hit was free and I want more. I literally looked at my friend and we both agreed it was amazing. You could almost not tell the difference between the cake and the icing they were so perfectly suited, creamy and moist. I have tried the lemon, chocolate and white chocolate and I think my favorite was the lemon although the other two were also phenomenal. Go there for the next cake you need; I don't think you could possibly regret it!
Update- The owner contacted me regarding the coupon situation and was very apologetic and assured me that they would be accepting coupons on phones from now on. She was extremely gracious and I truly appreciated her reaching out. That is the sign of a good business owner. Because of her response, I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 and will plan on going back once again. Thank you Tisha.

It's a little sad for me to be here. I lived the world peace cafe and even worked there in the kitchen and even at the register for a bit, so I was sad to see it go. But, I'm so glad that a vegan place followed it. I've eaten at the Loving Hut off Barrett Parkway (that is now closed) and the other location in Norcross and I have always had a good meal there. I came in for the 1st time today and it still looks a lot like the old cafe. I had the curry and it was quite good. The menu is a little different from the other Loving Huts, but still all vegan, which is great. I'll be back. :-)
Amazing food we had the dumplings, house curry and vegetables stir fry. Amazing taste like home made. Please try this place it's amazing food...
This Loving Hut retains a little bit of the feel of the previous occupant, World Peace Cafe, but doesn't seem to have quite the charm or brightness. I've been to the Loving Hut in Norcross too, where my memory is of a bit more brightness, along with very fresh tasting basil rolls. The Norcross location also has the Supreme Leader network much more prominently on display than this Hammond Drive location (which is a point in favor of the latter). As for the food here, I had the eggplant dish and pot stickers, and my wife had the black bean burger. The portions were substantial (definitely better than WPC's), in fact the black bean burger was huge, and the dishes were flavorful. We did not try the nice looking desserts, that might be a factor to get a bump to four stars.

I can't eat at buffets or AYCE like I used to... That being said, I was still able to enjoy a nice Friday night dinner at Nori Nori. The wait was about an hour and a half for Valentines' Day, and since they didn't take reservations, that was the best that could be done... Odd that they charged for hot tea, but I didn't want any anyway. The buffet included a hibachi grill, udon noodle bar, salad bar, sashimi and sushi rolls galore, a crepe station, and a row of hot foods and desserts (including soft serve green tea ice cream)! The hibachi grill offers a choice of meats, including shrimp, scallops, and steak. The chef cooks it with butter and lemon juice and serves it with a selection of vegetables. The wait was a little long but well worth it. Unfortunately for me, I'm not a big fan of raw oysters which would have looked yummy if I were adventurous enough for them. Also not a fan of crab legs, especially without the proper equipment for eating them. The hot bar had a lot of good options, including grilled squid, which I was a HUGE fan of, although I could only go through once and didn't wish for seconds. The sushi rolls were what got me though. Too many options (and very similar too) and I couldn't stop grabbing. There was so much rice overall that I had a hard time stomaching the rest of my food. The sashimi wasn't bad, wish the tuna could have been a little fresher... just looking at it I wasn't sure I should attempt it, but I gave Nori Nori the benefit of the doubt. Let's just say the next morning wasn't so pleasant. The salad bar looked meh. That's the only word I can think of to use to describe it. The seafood in the salads didn't look as fresh as I would have expected. Dessert bar was varied but I didn't see anything that popped out at me. The soft serve green tea ice cream tasted just like the powdered matcha green tea. Personally I prefer when my green tea ice cream is a little milkier and creamier but I still liked it! Now that I think about it, I never got to try the udon! Will need to try it next time... if there is a next time. I have a feeling that since it was such a busy night, the food was a little less carefully prepared, especially toward the end of the night. I hope I can make it out on a easier going night when the food is less hastily prepped.
Awesome AYCE lunch deal - great rib eye skewers
I think Nori Nori is a wonderful place to get Sushi. The only down side to it is the hosts are not very polite to the customers. But wonder food with a wide variety

Erawan Organic Thai

Reviews:
I've found my go-to Thai restaurant near home. The ambience: casual. The food: spiced just right, literally. The location: easy for takeout and it's close to a Publix so I can do some shopping too. Green Curry Tofu: If you've read my reviews, you'll know it's my go-to favorite Thai dish. It's important to me that the curry sauce/gravy is thick and not watery, which usually means there's enough buttery coconut milk to give it that velvety consistency. Erawan does it just that way so that my rice and curry become one. They didn't skimp on the tofu (it's more like fried bean curd), they're generous on the bamboo shoots, and "American hot" was the way to go and just the right amount of heat I like. Oh, and their brown rice is delicious to me for some reason: it's fluffy and unlike the other brown rices I've ever had. This was a happy accident because I ordered white rice but received brown instead. It's like they know me. Drunken Noodles with Chicken: I love rice noodles and to me, this is the Thai version of chow fun, except it's more flavorful. I ordered this "Thai hot" just to test how hot this got. This had me in tears in a "burn so good" way but eventually I had to wimp out and drink some milk. I would get this again, but do it American hot or milder. They really stuck me with the chili seeds and peppers in my order. Generous amount of chicken, not too many veggies, but I'm ok with that. Noodles are where it's at. Service here is ok. I really don't expect much from most Asian restaurants. I should have prefaced this that I ordered this to-go so I didn't actually dine here. Prices for dinner are a little more expensive (even without the premium for the organic meats), but it's worth it to me versus getting a small portion of bland curry.
You can find Erawan Organic Thai Restaurant at 7537 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30350 in the Towbridge Crossing shopping center anchored by Publix on Roswell Rd, about 3 blocks North of the Abernathy Rd intersection. I've always thought there was an unusual lack of decent Thai restaurants in the Perimeter Mall area - sure there's Singha Thai in Dunwoody, Little Thai Cuisine on Sandy Springs Cir and Simply Thai on N Shallowford Rd, but while they are all decent restaurants (the standout is Singha Thai) they are a bit on the Americanized side of Thai with dumbed-down spice levels and rather indistinctive flavors. In any case, from my work location at Northpark all the Thai restaurants were so far away that it was more pain than it was worth to visit them, so I was very happy to discover Erawan. As the name implies, Erawan is an organic restaurant and the food is quite good. It still suffers from a bit of "dummying down" of the distinctive flavors but I can understand that as the typical American palate isn't very sophisticated. That being said, all of the constituent parts of the items I tired were very good and fresh. You can taste the individual spices in the curries and the sauces will get you sopping up every drop. The meal started with Spring Rolls which I thought good but nothing special. We also ordered an Erawan roll from the sushi menu which was surprisingly good - it usually scares me a bit to order sushi at a non-sushi restaurant as I haven't had very good luck with that, but fortunately Erawan did a good job, at least with this roll (Avocado and Eel). Today I went for the Basil Chicken as most of our table of four ordered either Panang or Masaman curries. The chicken was perfect, juicy with crisp wok-sauteed veggies and just the right amount of basil and sauce. I love the brown rice mix they have here - most restaurants can't seem to get brown rice right - it's either over or under cooked. I believe this was a mix of brown and Asian short-grain white rice and the consistency and flavor was very good and perfectly cooked (it's tougher to do this than you might think - try it at home some time). I also tried the other curry dishes and have this to say about them: The Masaman Chicken was good but I think this curry needed a bit of punch (but that just may be me, as I typically don't order it as I prefer the flavors in the Panang). The Panang Curry Chicken was very good - I'll probably order this next time. The Penang Curry Tofu didn't taste like much of anything to me but that may be more the type of tofu used - it was the stiff tofu and I like the soft better (however the soft is much harder to stir-fry and keep in tact). The interior was spacious with high ceilings but a bit noisy - it was also very busy - I think we got there just a few minutes before noon and it was nearly full. I liked the decorations, sparse but tasteful. The restaurant as also spotless and very clean. I thought the service initially very good but the staff seemed a little overwhelmed and it took some time to get a water glass refill and our check. I'm still rating this 4 stars for the quality of the food.
I've eaten at Erawan a few times, and it's become one of my go-to lunch places. I've ordered a few different dishes and the ones that stood out were the ginger chicken, garlic chicken, and panang curry with chicken (of course). The ginger chicken's aroma is to die for; gawd, it smells good! But it doesn't taste like ginger. The broth is very clean, light and tasty, but the scent is what gets you. The garlic chicken is not garlicky at all. I eat raw garlic fairly often so this didn't register for me as significant, so if you're worried about eating it on a date, don't. I barely needed a peppermint after eating it. I was surprised by how less sweet the panang curry was while still having the same flavors I recognize; and I loved that it was less sweet; I feel like the curry had a better flavor that way and the spice wasn't as powerful. Speaking of spice...they ain't playing at Erawan. I got the Medium hot level on one of my meals, and while I could still eat and taste my chicken, my mouth was on fire! Normally, this does not bother me but spicy foods can cause unpleasant bodily functions if one is not prepared, so be ready if you want to go there. I stick with the level below Medium which is American hot (yeah, they are punking Americans out with this one but the truth hurts.) The food is prettily displayed and doesn't pretty food make you feel better about eating it? The restaurant has plenty of space, so you don't feel cramped and parking is plentiful in the parking lot. Overall, there are no surprises at Erawan, but they are consistent and sometimes that matters more. Yelp 100 #34

The service at lunch was atrocious. Two of the three waiters that came to the table didn't speak English . The food was worse than the service. Even with a scout mob discount, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone ever!!
Amazing food and excellent service !! Turkish coffee here is amazing ..also they have this Persian Ice cream which is lovely...We had Chicken sheesh Kabab as main course....its yummy..Ambience is also nice. definitely suggest !!!
Went to Mirage last summer, and had a great experience there. My family decided to return, hoping to enjoy a great dinner once again. Unfortunately, we left quite disappointed, primarily with the service. Rarely do we ever judge a restaurant for its service, but this experience was something else. Perhaps they are under new management. From when we first sat down, our waitress (who seemed to be a manager at the restaurant) was forcing menu items upon us. She insisted that we try the pomegranate juice, we politely declined. When we ordered our entrees (which by default came with saffron rice), she asked which kind of rice we wanted, listing the ones that, we soon found out, came with a $4 surcharge. For dessert, when we asked for the menu, she simply listed the options, suggesting one that she repeatedly described as "amazing". When we asked for the menu again -- perhaps she didn't understand -- she simply repeated what she had already said. My father had ordered hot tea for himself. When the drinks came out, she gave us all cups though there was only one kettle of tea. We expected that the cups were for water, but when the bill came out we found that she had charged us for 4 orders of tea! When we pointed out the error, she apologized, but would not change the charges. The food itself was pretty good, especially the different kinds of rices. The bread they give at the beginning is also quite good -- it's warm, and goes really well with their humus. If we ever return, it will only be for this -- but you could save yourself the trouble and hidden charges by going to Flavor or Rumi's Kitchen.

Wow!! I was completely blown away! This is definitely a top notch establishment. Every item we ordered was delicious and made with the freshest ingredients I think I've ever had at a restaurant. The variety of dishes is sure to please every palette. My husband's calamari was perfect, light and crispy, well seasoned and included fried lemon slices which was a heavenly complement to the whole dish. My grilled chicken BLT panini was a wonderful blend of fresh meat and vegetables, on a light and chewy focaccia with a yummy drizzle of bacon aioli. The roasted corn nut salad was my favorite of all the dishes we tried and I plan on taking a bowl home with me on the next visit. Skip the soft drinks and enjoy the wonderful lemonade and waters. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the manager was attentive and even brought us a sampling of their delicious croissants. This is a quick order at the counter and they bring it to your table restaurant, but it has nice seating and lighting that make it a fun date night or a quick business lunch.
I used to go to the F2O in Johns creek while growing up and loved that location. I don't know if the menu option changed across all F2O's or it's just this particular location, but they didn't have the salad that I grew to love. I ended up getting a shrimp salad and thought the shrimp was absolutely disgusting. It was in some weird curry sweet sauce and did not go with the salad. Service is quick and lines weren't too long.
If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! By far one of my favorite places to grub! A "fancy", yet laid back atmosphere. The employees are always nice and the food is always on point! I've only visited this F2O location. It was a few years ago and I had the best experience! I was greeted with a smile and good energy. The food was quick, fresh, and perfect. My two favorites dishes are, the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and the Asian Chicken Skewers with mashed potatoes. I love the yummy croissant that each meal (except sandwiches) comes with too! Each time I dine or take-out, it's usually for lunch so I'm in a hurry; they are always fast and fresh! Not to mention, all of the employees are super nice and helpful! I don't live as close anymore, but I still make time to go back as much as I can.
