Stopped here with my cousins last night and....OMG...I'm a customer for LIFE! Good food is a big deal to me, and this place does not dissapoint. Not only is the food excellent, but what everyone says is true. The owner gave us THE BEST customer service I've had in years. She greeted us with a big smile, was super friendly and insisted on us trying her (fresh) dumplings! I was sold before they even hit my mouth. Looking at her menu, I was torn at first because I really wanted to try her shrimp fried rice. Upon settling on ordering two dishes (shrimp fried rice and chicken dumplings), I noticed a combo. 6 chicken dumplings PLUS shrimp fried rice for less that $9!! You're kidding me right?!? SOLD! Then get this...After ordering, she asks if I want sweet tea or lemonade because it comes with a drink....SAY WHAT?!? At this point, I want to hug this woman I'm so happy, lol. As everyone ordered, we settled into the food court and she went to work preparing our trays and dipping sauces (which were AH-MAZING btw). Everyone's food was beyond excellent and no one left a crumb! The lemonade was homemade and sweetened to perfection (no diabetes in a cup here!). I can't say enough good things about this lady and her food. I will definitely be taking everyone I know here. They'll deem me the food guru if I do! Lol

I enjoyed the food i get from here. Ms. Kim never disappoint me when i order. The food is authentic and good Chinese food. Ms. Kim is a sweet lady. She makes some great lemonade. I always get chicken fried rice and occasionally lemonade. This is one of the best in Authentic Chinese food.

Very good food and value for money. It is a good food to have after shopping in hmart. Owner is very good and greets with a smiling face. Dumplings are good. Veg noodle soup and veg tofu soup is also real nice.

Great food at very reasonable prices! Everything seems to be made to order. Having lunch here is a great reason for shopping at H-Mart! Kim, who runs the place, makes you feel like family!

Not my first time here just my first check-in. Real Chinese food. Inside the H Mart. Great place inside the H-Mart an Asian grocery store.

We love eating here! The owner is super nice and loves what she does. Every time we come here she makes fresh lemonade from scratch and same for the dipping sauces. The pot stickers are home made but we LOVE LOVE the mongolian beef. Sticky and sweet with the little crunchy things under the meat *drool* If you havent been to H mart yet, this alone will make it worth the trip.

Located in Super H Mart, this is Riverdale's best kept secret, great food and service.

After our shopping trip at the H Mart [the wonderful Asian grocery store in Riverdale] my wife and I decided to try out the small food court area attached to the side of the store. We saw Bamboo Panda, and decided to give that a try as well. They had a special of the day which included Shrimp Fried Rice, a spring roll, and 2 chicken wings [your choice of sauces; hot wing sauce, teriyaki, or sweet and sour...I took the teriyaki], and a drink for $7.95. Wow it was a big serving of fried rice! We started off by tasting the spring roll which was very good...but, what can I say it was just a spring roll. Next was the chick wings; they were okay...it was basically some fried chicken wings with some teriyaki sauce poured over them. Starting to get disappointed, we dove into the fried rice and WOW! This was one of the best fried rice dishes I have had. My bench mark for fried rice is from my Seattle days at a small hole-in-wall Thai restaurant called the "Thai Highlands" which is actually in the highland area of Renton. I have to say the Bamboo Panda is almost as good [minus the ambience of sitting in a Thai restaurant as opposed to the food court area]. Both my wife and I just could not stop eating it...it was simply delicious! Next time we hit the H Mart we are definitely stopping for some Fried Rice at the Bamboo Panda!!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant! Good, fresh food & great customer service! I don't even care for lemonade, but they make the best homemade lemonade I think I've ever had. Just an FYI, this restaurant is located inside the H-Mart.

High on the positive reviews before me I took a trip to Bamboo Panda inside of the food court at Super H Mart. And as luck would have it - all the previous reviews were right. The proprietor was extremely friendly from the moment we walked up. We ended up getting the seafood soup and the chicken in black bean sauce. She also threw in some dumplings for the kid, no charge. The meals were very good, and the fresh made noodles really made each dish. Overall everyone was on point and I would definitely eat here again.

I have nothing but positive reviews to this restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place, it is located inside the Riverdale H Mart where I shop regularly. I always pass by the restaurant and I thought it was just a typical Chinese food, so one day I finally decided to give it a try and order food. The food was so good, if you're into tofu, you would definitely want to try the tofu salad and with your choice of how much spice you want on it from no spice to mild to hot. They also have varieties of lo mein noodles such as beef, seafood or just shrimp and tofu or if you prefer just plain lo mein noodles. I dont order fried rice all the time but when I do, it would be this place, the seafood or shrimp fried rice is awesome as well as the beef kind. I have yet to try their soup menu, but when I do I know I won't be disappointed. As far as the service, Ms. Kim is the only lady that works the cashier ( I think she's the owner ), but she will take care of you especially if you are a regular customer. She is very pleasant, personable and just down right friendly. The wait time may be a a little slow sometimes especially on the busy days because she takes her time with each customer to make sure each is happy with their order, so i don't mind the longer wait times. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the food and you won't exprerience bad service at all. At leastt I have never experienced one at all.

This is a great place to eat! It's not an atmosphere you would expect to find such delicious food. The fact that it is inside an international grocery store is actually cool. My family and I go here at least 2 times a month. I don't have to drag anybody to go eat with me...as soon as i mention Bamboo Panda everyone is excited to eat. We have been going to this place for over 3 yrs now. I highly recommend this place. The owner, Mrs. Kim, is the "bees knees"! True customer service at its best!!!

A+ I would rate the food at 4 stars. I've come here at least once every 2 weeks for the past year. Fried rice, extra spicy- oh so goooood. The food is very well priced; I eat a LOT, but even with the 7$ combo, i tend to have left overs- perks of being a regular, I guess. Why five stars? Kim. She makes the entire experience very delightful, and will always look out for you; oh, and also, the lemonade is, with no doubt, the best you can find in the Riverdale/Jonesboro area. Honestly, I've only had better lemonade at a fudge factory in Ruby Falls. What seals the deal is that you can go stock up on honey dew Melona bars and miscellaneous munchies while waiting for your food to be ready. All in all, best fried rice in the south; to the extent that it puts full operation Chinese restaurants to shame.

First, I'm writing this review about 4 months late. Oh my Gosh! The food at this place will knock your socks off! The prices are great! And Ms. Kim is the BEST!!!! My family from southern Georgia stumbled upon this place accidently in the H-Mart Store looking to buy a case of water. Since I always use Yelp to help me decide on whether to try a place or not I looked it up and was very pleased to see it had good reviews. We approached the lady at the counter and I asked if her name was Kim and she said yes. We told her about the reviews on Yelp and she was very tickled to hear the great reviews. There was five of us and we ordered a little bit of everything. While we were waiting for our order, Kim walks over to our table with a plate of spring rolls, which we didn't order, and tells us its free for the Gordon family vacation. Wow! Who does that???? The Pot stickers Amazing! The Fried rice - Awesome! Dumplings - Wonderful! Fried Chicken - Crisp and delicious! I could go on and on. Everything was fantastic!!! Oh, and don't get me started on the Fresh Lemonade!!!! I don't ever drink lemonade but I read other reviews raving about it and it was SOOOO GOOD!!! Needless to say, we stuffed our bellies and rolled ourselves home fat and happy. The next day we went to this famous Hot Dog joint called The Varsity that has been around forever. It was terrible!!!! (see my next review) Needless to say we wanted something good for dinner. We all agreed in unison, BAMBOO PANDA!!!! That's right we want back again 2 days in a row. It's that good! Ms. Kim once again was amazingly wonderful! The food was even better, if that's possible. She also hooked us up with another wonder appetizer for free! I can't say enough about this place. If you are in or near Atlanta, make the trip, I promise you won't be disappointed!

After I first moved here 1 1/2 years ago, my first essential is to scout out a good chinese place to eat. I am very picky, and after several tries in various areas in the south end. I found Bamboo Panda, and the dynamic duo behind the counter...Kim and her trusty sidekick Susie. Talk about working hard to make the customer happy! My daughter and I have so enjoyed the food, good conversation, and friendship. So much so, that we make this our comfort food place. Great dishes, and I highly recommend one of the soups. YUMMY!!!

If you are ever craving some GOOD Chinese food, you have to come by Bamboo Panda. Not only do they have some of the best Chinese dishes, their service is spectacular ! I love their home-made Lemonade, the best I've tasted ! !! Their servings are worth every penny because they are so hugeee ! You will definitely need a to-go box unless you're really hungry. I go to Bamboo Panda at least 2 times a week just to get some delicious food.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
