Love this!! It's so hard finding quality and good Mexican authentic food around Georgia and I'm so far from home!!! This is a must return spot! The owners of the restaurant Sat and made me feel overly welcomed. Just like if I were home. I really like this place. It's cheap too!!

Hubby picked this place because he is from Taxco, Guerrero in Mexico. Great idea, and we had fun taking pictures in front of the place when it was closed for July 4 but actually eating here was a mistake. Hubby kind of picked up on that the moment he realized the drinks tasted odd. Not bad, just not up to the quality we are used to. Well, we plowed on and got our food. He got nachos which were small and tasteless. I got Chile Verde, which looked great but oversalted to the point I couldn't eat it. Our friend got the Lunch Special No. 13 and ate every bite. The salsa was decent, though. Hubby and I ate a few bites of ours before we had to stop. We paid for our food and decided to never return. Liked: - Horchata - Salsa Ok: - Melon Water (too strong) Disliked: - Beans - Chile Verde - Guerrero Nachos de Pollo

Driving through on our way back up to NJ from Florida on a Sunday night. We were looking for Dickys BBQ but decided on Mexican instead. So glad we did. All the food was delicious. The 5 stars are for the horchata alone. The service was excellent too.

When you want good Mexican food look and see where the local Hispanic community eats. Well it's here. Seriously the best mexican food and nicest staff you are going to find in all of the Savannah/Pooler area. We frequent this place at least 2x a month.

GROSS. I don't know WTF it was, but a disgusting, pasty white queso sauce was on every item of our meal but the side of rice. It was disgusting. It was obvious everything came packaged in terms of sides, the salsas, and the "Guac" was almost like the kind at subway that they squeeze out of a pouch.

Good Mexican food. Drink specials end at 7, so I just missed them. There isn't really a bar area, and I prefer the bar when traveling solo. This restaurant is in a small strip mall. They took good care of me, got me my beer quickly (available in up to 32 oz draft modelo or miller lite), and made me nachos quickly as well. The nachos were good and I had requested they add chorizo to them which they had no problem with. There was an extra charge but they didn't hassle me about it and were very accommodating. The restaurant only had about 4 parties in it including me at 7 on a Monday night. Prices were reasonable and typical for a standard Mexican restaurant.

While on a vacation to the Southeast, I had stopped for the night near Savannah, and noticed a few restaurants near the hotel I was staying at. Since I hadn't had a dinner of Mexican food for a little while, I decided to go to Guerrero. Guerrero is a family run, sit down restaurant with some tables and booths. Upon arriving, the server had brought me some chips and salsa as an appetizer. After ordering a Modelo beer as my beverage, I checked out the menu and ordered a chori pollo, which is chicken covered with a cream sauce and covered with chorizo sausage crumbles. It was delicious, and it also came with sides of rice and beans. At the end of the meal, I was stuffed! Guerrero also celebrates birthdays. While I was dining there, I had noticed a family seated at another corner of the restaurant, then the staff came over and sang them a little birthday song.

I love this place!! Great staff, delicious food and the margaritas are always just right! Not much more to say other than you must check this place out. Salsa is fresh, and deliciously home made. This is the one place I always make sure to go to when I am in town.

Thanks YELP for sending us on a wild goose chase on the "get directions " APP on your website...took us 16 miles round trip out of the way- this place is right on 80 just east of i-95- after that mix up we went there to the buffet... the place was filthy ( guess they had a big lunch rush) and the buffet dismal...we left never ate there as it was not looking good....

My mum and I go here all the time and every time, it's always excellent. The food is always hot, always fresh and the place is bright, clean and good for the money. The buffet is probably one of our favorite things to get when we get here and it's always on point with a variety of things to eat. Love coming to this place.

Love this restaurant. Family owned and much more reasonably priced than other Mexican restaurants in the area. The wait staff is extremely friendly and the food always tastes fresh. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks about Mexican food in the area.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
