I'm a fan of Jimmy John's and my brother loves Baldino's. We could never agree on which to go to for sandwiches so when I saw Larry's, I secretly hoped that it would be a good compromise between JJ's and Baldino's and settle our sandwich arguments for a few weeks. Unfortunately, both my brother's Ultimate (roast beef, turkey, ham) and my New York Special (roast beef provolone) were very mediocre. The bread came out of a bag, was under-toasted, and was smashed-looking, and the meat tasted like something I'd get at Subway. I certainly have nothing against Subway, but if your sandwich tastes like their's and costs almost double (Larry's 8" sandwiches are $6), I can't see a reason why I'd pick that over Subway. Before we left, we decided to order the $4 hot dog just to see if that would turn out better. As soon as they turned around and threw a hot dog into the microwave, I knew there was no chance..

I first visited Larry's in Savannah, it was great! So glad there is one in Norcross:). The staff is very friendly, which is always nice. Love the subs!

Was in Peachtree Corners area trolling at Goodwill for bargains. Hungry for something 'different' than the usual- Wendy's, Arby's, etc.- wife and I started cruising the area. Then, we happily spotted this newcomer. We perused the (ENORMOUS!) menu board and selected a large Giant Delight (giggle) on wheat (roast beef and turkey on a 12" hoagie roll) combo, plus one extra drink. Total came to $13.43. The bread was amazingly fresh and the innards were first quality. The employees were friendly and checked on us twice. Seems like a capable operation, handling the lunchtime rush skillfully and promptly. We were very happy to find this new addition.

Good Sandies! They take their time making your sandie, it's not some 14 year old slopping mayo and mustard and bread with an icing knife!

Fanstastic staff, great sandwiches. Great service, couldn't have been better. Food was great as well. I will return.

We have Jersey Mikes, Lenny's, Jimmy Johns and Firehouse all within 2 miles of one another. I am not sure what market research Larry's did but they should get their money back. I have eaten there twice. Though Larry's may have a giant sub, the one you get is smaller than Jersey Mike's or Lenny's. It was ok but not any better than the others and certainly not different enough for me to alter my rotation.

Drove all the way there to find out they actually close at 5pm on Saturday instead of 9 pm.

Larry's Giant Subs is a worthy addition to lunch choices in the Norcross/Peachtree Corners area. I rate them a solid 3.5 stars ... Their menu is expansive, covering every type of sandwich specialty from Italian to Cuban. There is so much variety that it is difficult to choose what you want to try. Larry's serves a several types of soups that change most everyday including certified-organic Minestrone and Tomato, and the menu is rounded out with a variety of salads. The interior (being new) is spotless. You will find comfortable booths lining one wall and tables scattered toward the front. There are two flat-screen televisions and a small (weather?) radio all competing for your ear time. We found the bread and ingredients to be of high quality upon our first trip to Larry's and you will too. The sandwich shop scene in this area is already highly crowded with options, but we enjoyed Larry's food and wish them well.

I'm not much of a sandwich/subs person. My decision to order a sandwich/sub will always be trumped by anything else on a menu. I would even prefer a liquid lunch most times over a sandwich/sub... However, Larry's Giant Subs makes me change my mind. I really like this place and the variety of subs they offer. You can taste how good the quality of cheese and meat is. Their pastrami and corn beef is very good. The variety of cheese is also notable. Reminds me of the pastrami I had in NY. The philly with cheese is pretty good as well. Their bread is perfectly baked and is the perfect casing to their subs. Larry's Subs beats a Subway subs any day. Glad to see a good sub place in th neighborhood. See you soon, Larry!

Never have I had to write such a mixed review. I am from the Philadelphia area and the sign said "Cheese Steaks". The menu is extensive and the help even knew enough to offer a Cheese Steak Hoagie as an option. The food tasted good and the service was fast - too fast. They had it ready almost as fast as I got to my booth. The bread was heated but not toasted. It tasted good and was of a good quality. Again better than average., but it was not toasted enough. The cheese was just a glob, barely melted and in a tight bulb. The meat was spiced well and tasted good although a tad dry They could have been a little more generous with the onions My guess is that the Sunday is not the most desirable shift and this is their "B" team. I will try it again on a weekday. I suspect that with a little more cooking time this might be better than Philly Connection.

One of the best Chicago hot beef sandwiches ive ever had! Au Jus was on point. Also a damn good Cuban sandwhich. The owner was there and he was the coolest guy on the planet. Overall I wish I lived next door to them. The sweet tea waa great and the different side items were unique for a sub shop. My new fav place!

Subs are made fresh. Also, the meats there are very lean. not fatty. I have been there about 4 times. better than Jersey mikes, Baldinos or jimmy johns. I have become a big fan of this place. Love the cornbeef.

Larry's Giant Subs were anything but Giant. It was average tasting and nothing noteworthy. If I want a sub the best place is Publix!!

Larry's has always been my fav sub shop and now there's one just down the road from home -- awesome! Had the Philly with cheese, onions and mushrooms. Excellent and will be back. Would have taken a picture but I'd already chomped into it before I thought about that and no one likes pictures of half-eaten food! I said, "NO ONE LIKES PICTURES OF HALF-EATEN FOOD!" so stop it! You know who you are. ;^)

I really like Lenny's, but they close so early! So The Fiancé suggested we try Larry's one day and I agreed. Well, it's no Baldino's and not even Lenny's, but my sub (chicken salad on wheat) was actually pretty good. It may have tasted like the chicken salad came from a clear plastic tub at Publix, but it wasn't bad at all. The Fiancé said his wasn't good at all, though, but I can't remember what he got. All in all I was pretty ok with Larry's and would go back, but probably while The Fiancé is out of town or something. I'd actually recommend you check out Shandiz just a few doors down and get the chicken kabob. So good.

Love this place....and have turned on several of my friends to it as well. Live so close and didnt even know it existed until recently (somewhat hidden in a lonely strip mall across from QT). Quality meats, fresh bread and friendly service is what makes this a clear choice over the chain sub places. Sure it costs a couple dollars more, but well worth it for what you get. I would eat here 100 times over Subway/Blimpie. Nothing against those guys, but Larry's is simply better/fresher/cleaner. It always seems kind of slow when we go in, so hopefully more people will discover this litte gem in Peachtree Corners. I go at least once a week. The Cubans are excellent, as are the warm sandwiches/hoagies! Never tried a cold sandwich here, but I'm sure they are good as well.

Great place. The food is good and the staff is very nice. Lots of choices for subs. I've people eating at my office now. The subs are so big I can't finish, so I save for lunch the next day. Oh they even have a punch card. I recommend trying it out.

Loved Larry's, no matter the location, but this one had a sign on the door saying they were closing down at end of business on 8/7/2015

Was hoping that they were actually open at 10:30 AM, as this app says that they are open at 10:30 AM. Did not end up eating here, because they don't open until 11:00AM. Might want to update yelp?
