I randomly stumbled upon this place from a coupon on a grocery store receipt, wow what a find. The inside of the diner is just a small whole in the wall place. Sitting in my booth I got the feeling that everyone knew each other and the staff was happy to make us part of the family too. Throughout the week they offer different specials each day, all of which are made fresh like food should be. Southern cooking is their specialty and the grilled chicken I got was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the Philly and I found it to also taste good. The real shining star of this establishment is their sides and vegetables. The Lima beans were the perfect texture with a touch of bacon. The sauteed spinach was fresh spinach not frozen and had a lovely taste with a crisp finish. I tried the potato salad and while it was well prepared I did not care for the dill seasoning style. Overall I find this restaurant to be a little secret spot in Newman that I hope to frequent often.

So glad I selected this place. Nice, mom and pops restaurant and the staff is so friendly!! The menu is simple w/variety of choices, and the prices are beyond reasonable (definitely plus LOL). I came with an appetite from a 13-hr work shift... and I knew I wanted something simple with bacon that would fill the belly LOL ... I hoped for a scrambler type and I found THE BOWLS!! (Yaye) I chose the Bacon Bowl w/eggs scrambled over home fries. WOW!! is all I have to say. The food was amazing!! They definitely could've added a little more bacon but whatever... I devoured the bowl and now I'm ready for a game of SuperSmash Bros or Destiny to enjoy my leisure time .. Then a nap! I will definitely come back to this restraint. If you haven't tried this, then you should!! The only complaint is when I paid the tab, I wanted to sign up for the free app to earn money the more you ate at the restaurant and the checkout lady was not so friendly. She made me feel like "you ate, you pay, you go home"

Great made from scratch cooking, breakfasts are my favorite ( love the breakfast bowls) but lunch and dinner are also good. It is a small town diner atmosphere, the service is friendly, the buisness is clean. Location is a little off the beaten path but I highly recommend finding this gem and giving it a try. They offer daily lunch and dinner specials.

A delightful & refreshing stop midway through a 10 hour drive. Well worth the extra minutes from the Interstate. Food was definitely fresh cooked, made from scratch, and served up by very friendly servers. Loved the homemade potato chips and sautéed spinach.

This is a hidden gem in Newnan. The menu has a wide variety that should please just about any palate. The prices are very reasonable too. I had the whole fried catfish. The breading was perfectly seasoned. The cole slaw and hush puppies were very good as well. Next time I would choose the catfish fillets as I don't really like picking through the bones when I eat fish. The service was excellent. We will definitely return.

Stopped in for Saturday breakfast at 9:00 am. Place was busy but not full, as a few tables were still open. Our server was nice, but overall, service was very slow. The food was good and prices reasonable. So a good place for breakfast if you have time to sit and carry on some conversations while waiting for your food.
