4.25 stars. We love Vintage Pizza. It's our local pizza joint, kinda like a Cheers bar for the family. Thursdays are Trivia Nights, and though we never stay for both rounds (approximately 2 hours, 7-9pm), we enjoy competing for the first half. Meeka (sp) is a terrific host in the bar area, and her wide smile instantly makes you feel welcome. Vintage has a full bar, but clearly the focus is on beer and wine with nightly specials on the former. The pizza is very good. Very American. Not Dominos American, but not at all authentic Neopolitan. They mix up the toppings with some creative flair. My favorite is the cheesesteak pizza. Hey, I'm from Philly and this brings me back home. They have an interesting twist on calamari. Vintage serves the little, breaded, deep fried squidley rings with deep fried jalapenos. Sounds good, and it is. It would be better with 3/4 calamari 1/4 jalapeno instead of the 50/50 mix. Miss B. loves the Caesar Salad. So go for the pizza. Stay for the friendly service, the cold drinks and the fun trivia. It's the local place to hang out in Milton/Crabapple area.

We just moved to the area, so we have been trying out some of the restaurants as we're in search of a place to make our 'go-to' place. The atmosphere was nice. The staff was friendly, but not attentive. The food was so-so, if even that. We had the wings, which were decent....nothing horrible, nothing wonderful. We also had the BBQ chicken pizza, which we didn't like. There was something about the chicken that wasn't good...I ended up picking off all my chicken. And the crust was pretty blah, in fact it tasted a bit undercooked. I would rather spend a few dollars more and go down the street to Crust. I don't think we'll be making this our go-to place.

We love Vintage. We are from NJ and this is so close to the pizza back home. The eggplant parm is great too.

Running out of Guinness on Saint Paddy's is a sin! Good thing the food is decent. Good pizza, salads, subs.

We were pleasantly surprised. When we sat down at the bar and saw that towering carousel pizza oven we didn't hold out much hope; but this was either a really good pie or we were hypnotized by all those pizzas going round and round and round. The thin crust came out perfectly. Crisp on the outside but not at all dry with a nice taste.. The sausage had a nice tangy flavor and the mushrooms were fresh. The cheese was top shelf. Great pizza. We ordered a salad- unremarkable, and cheese fries, many of which were not done. Despite the fries and the salad, it is, after all, a pizzeria and they made a great pizza!

I've eaten here multiple times since it opened, and it's one of two staple pizza places now in the area that I'll goto. The most frequent time my wife and I go is early Saturday afternoon for their lunch special, which we call our hangover special. The lunch deal is a house salad, an enormous slice w/ a topping (it really is a huge slice, pretty close to the size of what two slices would be in most places), and a drink for I think seven dollars and change. Every once in a while I'll venture out to a sausage parm sub, and that's decent, but the pizza is what ya go here for. If you just moved to the area or are in the area, you won't be disappointed by giving this place a try. They also have a full bar, and it's far enough away in in the restaurant from the main area that is typically frequented by either a birthday party or after sports event from local sport of the season youth teams on Saturday afternoons.

I had Vintage delivery at a friend's house over the weekend. It was good but not near the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a cheese pizza. I found the cheese blend on the cheese pizza nicely flavored with a blend of spices. I found the pepperoni to have a strange flavor but did enjoy a slice of that pizza. We also ordered a greek salad which was LOADED with feta. HUGE plus for me because I whine if I don't have feta in every bite of my greek salad. The dressing was very lite and fresh. I will have to say, I much prefer their greek salad to their pizza. Let's be realistic here. I have a gluten allergy and a love for pizza so can I ever really be a good judge? As long as I don't take into account the aftermath of a gluten "cheat" night, I think I am a very good judge since I don't frequently get the gluten indulgence in my life. All in all, the pizza was good but with Alpine down the street, they have tough competition.

I grew up in Northern N.J. Vintage would be successful there as well. I have nothing but high praise for the taste and quality of their pizza. The only problem is that the pizza is so good, I can't bring myself to order anything else on the menu. Try the meatball on your pizza. There is none better anywhere!

Best pizza I have found in Georgia. This place has ruined other pizza for me forever. The crust is crisp and the toppings are always fresh and the cheese is perfectly melted. The sandwiches are also wonderful, my favorite has to be the meatball sub. Tons of cheese and crispy bread. Salads are also very fresh and tasty. Overall I have loved everything I have tried from this place. The service is quick and it seems that there are lots of regulars that the servers know by name. Its nice to go to places where people know your name and story. I will eat here again and again.

Invited by friends, we brought our kids and their friends. Pizza was good. Excellent crust, good cheese, nice sauce. All the toppings seemed fresh too. Professional staff, friendly, attentive. You can dine in or on the patio, lively yet not too noisy. Very reasonable, 8 people, well fed and still got out of there for under 90$. Of course the owner Is from NY/NJ/PA area! Near Blind Dog, kind of hidden poor signage...

Tonight I went for our usual pizza treat, and while waiting at the bar to pick up our order, I stood there almost 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Sunday evening, not very busy, perhaps understaffed, but still no excuse. MULTIPLE staff members walked past me more than once, and the bartender was off in a corner on her cell phone when I arrived. This is not the usual bartender (who is always super sweet, bubbly, and on her game), but someone I had perceived in the past to be a manager. I did notice that some of the time I was waiting, she was bringing drinks to another table and on the phone taking an order, but there were multiple opportunities for her to say, "I will be with you in just a minute," or SOMETHING. I recall working in a pizza place myself in high school, and my manager used to tell us that the customer on the phone takes priority over the customer in person, because the customer on the phone can't SEE how busy you might be. But, he would say, you always make sure you apologize and assure your in-person customer that they are important as well. This was a surprising and disappointing experience. I think we will try another pizza option next time, and hopefully, if we do return to Vintage, customer service will have improved.

Really enjoyed our dinner. I had a huge "small" Greek salad with chicken. My husband had chicken Parmesan. My step daughter had lasagne and step son had a calzone. All loved their meals. Waitress was efficient and attentive. Atmosphere very cozy and tasteful. Highly recommended in the moron/alpharetta area!

We have been eating at Vintage since it opened, every Friday night and sometimes a Thursday for Trivia night. The food and staff are good. One Friday we decided to pick up our food. I called and ordered a large pizza, two salads and a childs chicken tender meal. I was told I could not order the childs chicken tender meal, I would have to order the full meal. I did not want the full meal, my 9 yo would not eat all of that, they did not care. That was the end of Vintage for me, I ordered nothing and called Crust Pizza and they were happy to carry out kids meals. I have not been back until this last Friday, basically out of convenience. Food and staff were good but the annoying family that eats there every Friday was there. You know the family that lets thier children run all over the restaurant with no shoes on and scream, play in the bathroom while a line forms outside. Well on this night we were about ready to have snow and the temps were holding at 30. These children were running in and out of the restaurant to play as if they were at home, parents just drinking wine with not a care in the world. Unfortunately our party was right by the door. I asked the owner if there was something she could do to stop this because we were cold and our food was getting cold. She turned and gave me a look of disgust. So there ends Vintage Pizza for us we will never return.

My favorite restaurant in the crabapple area! I've tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Service is always great, even when the place is packed! My favorite has to be the cheesesteak pizza and the shrimp appetizer.

Vintage is across the street from me and I have been 15-20 times and it has never disappointed. It is always nice to have a local non-chain restaurant so close. What Vintage does best is pizza. There are a couple of things that factor in to it for me. Large single slice pizza, fresh toppings (and plenty of them including basil, my unabashed herb crush) and reasonable pricing. I usually get the pizza to go, in the service can be a little spotty, but this is a casual dining atmosphere, so it isn't the end of the world. An example of this would be, when I ordered a salad (and they are big there), I asked them if they could spilt it into two plates so my girlfriend and I could share. They said they couldn't do that. I asked for an additional plate so I could do it. They brought a bread plate, which of course is way too small. I asked for another plate, finally received it and then spilt the salad myself. Now this is not a deal breaker by any means, and the staff is for the most part very friendly, but little requests like that tend to make me want to pick it up. To Recap: The Good: The single slice pizza. Lots of toppings, fresh and good. They do a nice job with their salads as well, not gourmet, but good size and enough toppings to keep you happy. The Bad: The service can be inconsistent, but never awful. The sandwiches are just OK. The Band This Restaurant Most Resembles: Tori Amos. I like her stuff, but I nothing really sticks out.

Great local place - always good food whether pizza, pasta or salads. Nice bar to relax while you wait for takeout or eat at the bar. Great outdoor seating area. Thursdays are fun with trivia. Good place for groups and families.

Wonderful, consistently good Italian food, and they deliver too! The food is excellent. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I do not like the pizza. We have tried almost everything else on the menu, and it is all good and always fresh too! The chicken parmesan, the 3 cheese ravioli, the burgers, etc. are all good. The greek salad is wonderful, and the desserts, especially the chocolate cake is great!

So, my last review sparked me to actually sit down and review other places I have been in the past few months since I stopped yelping for a few months. Vintage was referred to me by one of my guitar students, and since McDonalds gets old quickly, I decided to give it a try. The place itself is pretty cool, set in a new development area in Milton. A nice looking bar, with an ok wine list and a few good beers on draft. But their pizza is absolutely amazing. The slices are nice and big, and the pizzas themselves are great sizes. The Vintage Pizza is so far the best I have had!

Ok pizza to us. Nothing fantastic and not horrible but there are other better options around Milton and Alpharetta.

Vintage....it is what it is. I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago so the pizza style of Vintage is not really what I prefer. The atmosphere is pretty good, and the service is always decent, however I feel like they struggle when the crowd is larger. The setting is nice. The inside has red brick walls and a nice looking yet small bar. The tables are a little close together but they are working with a small venue so they are trying to get as many tables in as possible. The only time this is an issue for me is when I go on a Friday night and the same family, that we now refer to as the Butt Family is there....for some reason they allow their off spring to run rough shot all over the restaurant while half of the adults stand at their table....in close quarters that means their butts are in someone's faces at some point, every Friday night....AKA the Butt Family...however this is not the fault of Vintage. The service is good most nights. Overall they are attentive and most nights there are no problems with refills, or ordering. I do feel that they tend to struggle a little when the crowd is larger. In Alpharetta, this can be any weekend night. However, their over all kindness wins me over. The food is ok to pretty good. It is not spectacular. I would not think that anyone would crave this pizza. Their salad are very generous and quite good/fresh. A side salad is as big as a large salad at some other restaurants. I tend to stick to the Carmine Pizza (like a Margarita Pizza) cooked extra crispy. It's pretty good...I have had a large Grilled Chicken salad in the past also. It was good. Mostly Iceberg lettuce, and the other typical veggies of tomato, onion, etc....but still good. I think it could be great with the addition of a few different veggies....although not sure which veggies that could be. Overall, I say 3 stars because, again, I am more of a Chicago style (thin and thick crust) pizza guy. Nice location, good service, ok pizza....but this is certainly a place to be on a Friday night if you live in Alpharetta. You will always see someone you know in there...

Nothing less than excellent!! Vintage serves a variety of cold beers, a full bar, awesome atmosphere, selection of pasta dishes and an as close as I've had in ATL to NY pizza. Excellent thin crust, cheese and sauce portions. My family and I order Vintage weekly! Next time your in Milton, stop by for a slice or three. You will come back again and again.

About the author: I eat lunch at Vintage Pizza once a week so if you've got a problem with something I say, you know where to find me. This place is the best pizza in Alpharetta/Milton. Whether you're looking for a large pie to take home and watch the game, or if you want a slice or two for lunch. Single slices are huge and they are reasonably priced. I challenge you to eat two slices in one sitting. Sausage and pepperoni is my favorite slice. The crust is thin but not too thin. The service is great. Very very nice waitresses. They have a couple TVs so you can watch a game if you want and they also have a full bar. If you're in the area, definitely give it a shot for lunch or dinner.

I've had Vintage 3-4 times since they opened. Overall, it's a pretty good pizza. The kids didn't love it though, so we'll only be eating here when it's just us. My biggest complaint at this point is with their website, first, it plays some super cheesy music, like it's 1999 or something, second when you go to the menu PDF page, the phone number to order isn't on the page so you have to go to the home page to get the phone number then go back to the PDF when you call. Not a big deal, but pretty annoying. Also, they apparently have a cut off time for delivery but don't have that listed in the information, it says delivery after 4:30pm, but not that they cut off. We'll probably give it another try or two to see how it goes, but with Alpine and Pizza Vito on the next corner it's iffy whether this will be our "regular" place.

When in town I eat here at least once a week. Most of the dishes taste wise have been very good but not outstanding. The slices are HUGE but are not priced any more than a typical by the slice place. Bang for the buck a great lunch place. My favorite waitress is there and she always takes good care of us. Hoping one day they bring back Coke Zero.

We recently ate here for the first time and we will definitely return. It was a busy night so we ate at the bar. I like that they have hard cider. We shared the calamari which also has pieces of jalapeño and okra and it was very tasty. I had the Greek salad which was crisp and nicely dressed. My husband had Buffalo Chicken Pizza. He really liked it. I'm not a blue cheese fan but I thought it was quite good. The bartender provided excellent service through out the whole meal.

Great atmosphere! Loved the brick walls and lantern style lighting. Had a simple lunch of a single sliced pizza and greek salad. My husband and I were able to eat for less than $15!

Nice menu, quick service and tasty food! I was in the mood for a salad and ordered a small Antipasto salad. Nice fresh salad with meat/cheese rolls, black olives, peppers, pepperonci and nice dressing. Also had the garlic bread. My son had two slices of pizza. The place was busy, but our server and associates kept us happy. The owner or manager also came by. Will return again!

The food is pretty good here but the service is abominably slow. If you have kids or need to eat in an hour or less, go elsewhere. I've been here twice now and had epic waits both times. I know the pizza is made to order but it should never take more than 30 minutes to make a pizza.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
