The apple chicken salad is delicious! One negative is way too much dressing on the salad. Other than that no complaints. This panera specifically had a drive thru and is always slammed! They also have the best orange scone I have ever had!

Given the number of visits, it is obvious that I like coming to this Panera Bread location. I like their sundry menu offerings. However, there are some shortcomings that keeps this review from being stellar. I have used the Rapid Pick-Up several times and most of the time, the order is accurate, but sometimes it is not. This is an account of my most recent experience using Rapid Pick-Up and the first time ordering using the Panera Bread app. I ordered using the Panera Bread app and paid using Apple Pay. The app worked as designed and I was able to make my selections. The disconnect occurred when the bakery item I ordered was not included. I informed an associate at the register, told her which item I ordered, which she verbally confirmed and I left. I trusted that I was given the correct item, but I was not. I returned the store later that day for the correct item. The accuracy of the order is important and there are signs at the pick-up location reminding about that. On another note, I refuse to use the drive-thru. For a place that does not operate at the speed of a typical fast food restaurant, using a drive-thru at this or any Panera Bread location does not seem worth the effort. That is my subjective, summary opinion. MyPanera: Besides earning rewards for visiting Panera Bread, sometimes rewards are given. For example a random $2-off salad or free coffee. Sometimes rewards are gained by watching videos on their website while since into MyPanera. Thus, despite the minor transgressions of the occasional inaccurate Rapid Pick-Up order, I plan to continue to visit Panera Bread.

I am in medica sales and use Paneras across the southeast for catering almost every single week. I will NO longer use them due to the unprofessional catering manager in the northern Atlanta area, Wes Hendrix. Not only did I NOT receive a callback with assistance for a delivery order website mistake but he waited until the DAY OF my meeting to email me that he was too busy! It was IMPOSSIBLE to book anyone else this late and IF he would've called me back the day I called him I would've been able to find another company. Instead I had to PAY to get on an earlier standby flight so I could pick it up - which was out of my way - and deliver it MYSELF! Though the managers Heather/Lenny did what they could do NOT use them for catering!

Food is consistent. Although the staff seemed overwhelmed. Problems: My husband received someone's else's sandwich. Once he finally got his, he enjoyed the taste - chipotle chicken. No toilet paper in ladies room. Paper towel ran out. Women's restroom not that clean. For me, the entire experience was not that great. I understand we were there at peak lunch hour - 1 pm on a Sunday - however, how well things run at your busiest time is a clear indication of the health and efficiency of the business. Today, showed they are struggling. We'll likely be back.

You can never go wrong with Panera. The food is so fresh and good. I always get the bacon turkey bravo. It's super yummy. The people that work here are very friendly. I visited this panera multiple times during my stay here in Atlanta. I Love Panera Bread!

Surprised at how amazingly efficient this restaurant is during a slammed rush hour. Note well: this place is absolutely packed during the lunch hour, but is super efficient at cranking out orders and the tables turn over about as fast as the food. Have enjoyed everything from the salads to sandwiches and soups here. Nothing special aside from other Paneras, but in the fast paced craze that is Windward during lunch you can count on getting in, eating, and getting back in time. Now if only they had a larger space... could easily be a remote work and meeting spot.

Both times I have come here it's been disgusting! The first time the employees were handling our bagels after touching the register with no gloves on. When I asked him to put gloves on the manager that was standing next to him looked at me like I was being crazy. The bathrooms are usually filthy and not stocked. Just gross

Love Panera Breads but not this location. Ordered a French Onion Soup in sour dough bread but there was no soup! Also, they forgot to my small chicken tortolini.

I stopped in for lunch today and paid $8.49 for the small Rigatoni and tomato sauce with a salad. This dish was very disappointing and not a good value at all. When I opened the container I was surprised at how little pasta they gave for the price. It was a total rip off and the salad was very small as well. If I wasn't in such a hurry I would have brought it back.

Coffee is good. Coffee is hot. Service was good and the lines they had were handled very fast and professional. I really enjoyed this location. Do not be scared away by the crowds, as this store can and does handle it well. Thank you Panera!

I don't have a problem with the food here but the drive thru service is really slow, even when they're not busy. It takes way too long to get things ready.

Love the food, but it is pricey for the amount of food you get. The servers at the drive through are really friendly at this location. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't so dang pricey or if the my panera card gave you more benefits or freebies than it does. My favorites are the Asian sesame chicken salad and the breakfast sandwiches. The macaroni and cheese is sooo good, but costs an arm and leg!

Went by for lunch today. Got there about 1:10 PM - so prime lunch time. They were crowded, but efficient and I got through the line and had my food in about five minutes total - not bad at all. Most of the seats were filled, but I found a spot pretty quickly - it's a fairly large dining room. The food is exactly what you'd expect if you've been to any other Panera Bread. I got the basic turkey sandwich and it was great. I tried the French Onion soup (never had it at Panera before) and it wasn't the best...not really even close...ok, I flat out didn't like it and only half of it. There was nothing 'wrong' with it, just the flavor wasn't what I expected...was spiced but a bit too much for my French Onion taste. But, I'll give them a pass on that...just because I didn't like one item doesn't make it a bad experience. I've had 3 or 4 other types of their soup and like those. The service was friendly enough (nothing to really brag about, but nothing negative about it, either). So, yes, I'd go back to this location.

good food but typical with no updated salads or sandwiches. the prep area is notorious for being slow as well as the cashiers. usually one person on register with two stations vacant even at peak times. it wouldn't take much to unseat panara as the sandwich and salad / bagel king on windward. Bagel Boys can you hear me?!

  • Hazel M.

This location is good for catching up with friends and for group meetings. My fave for breakfast is the spinach and artichoke souffle. They run out of these quickly :). The salads and the soups are all pretty good. The bagels are great with the honey walnut smear.

We usually like to stop here for lunch when we are on our way to doing some grocery shopping or just shopping, or whatever. This place is always very clean and the staff are always very friendly. I like how they list the fat and calorie content of some of the salads on the menu, I like to eat light during the week since I usually pig out on the weekends,LOL. As the name implies, this place is famous for its bread and although I usually abstain from eating white bread, I make the exception when I go to Panera Bread. The only minor problem I have with Panera Bread is that start asking you want you want to eat before you can really get through the door. Maybe I'm just slow, but I need a minute to look at the menu,LOL.

Joined friends for lunch there yesterday. Although they were really busy, service was fast and food quality was very good. They need to do something about the wifi squatters. I had to ask some of them to move so that we could have their table. Can't these people afford wifi at home?

I went to lunch with my beautiful celiac wife at Panera Bread which by itself seems scary for someone with Celiac. She loved the Fuji Apple Salad. -1 star for no gluten free menu (you are too big not to have one) 2 - Star for the non-celiac folks(tomato and moz sandwich was good) 1- Star for the Fuji Apple Salad It could have been four stars, come on lets get the gluten free menu going. yes corporate even dough you are a sandwich place. This place is packed at lunch time, lines were out the door.

Location location location. That seems to be the only positive thing going for this place. If you work at AT&T or HP on Windward, Panera would be a great spot for a quick lunch. It seemed that way today because the place was jammed with a line out the door. The smallish parking lot was busting at the seams. I've never been a big fan of this chain. I secretly hoped the Atkins craze from a few years ago would have killed them off. No such luck. My biggest complaint is that so many of their sandwiches are pre-made. All of the paninis are, which sucks because I like mine without cheese. Oh well. If they are pre-made, they are not made well. My sandwich was falling apart when it arrived and was made with plain white bread. And whatever mayo they pre-applied to the sandwich caused the bread to be soggy. All in all, it was a pitiful excuse for a panini. But hey, my chicken was "antibiotic free"! (laughable since all chicken is) There are so many delicious and locally owned sandwich joints in Alpharetta. For example, Wildflour is right down the street. I can name a bunch of others. Please don't go out of you way for this slop shop.

Cinnamon Crunch bagel with honey walnut cream cheese is where it's at. Also give the cinnamon roll a try, but heat it up for 30 seconds in a microwave first. Yum fantastic. They can be a little slow at times at this location, but the staff is always friendly.
