I have been looking for Mikie's Burger since he left Decatur. Best Turkey Burger ever! Can you say, "Full of Flavor". Oh and if you're in the mood for a good salad, you will not be disappointed. Salads are full of veggies, potatoes, eggs, cheese, meat and more. They also have great daily deals. Must try if you are in the area.

My son and I go all over Atlanta looking for good burgers. We found them here at Mikies Big Burger here in McDonough. It's BIG it's juicy and it tastes great. The fries are hand cut, not out of a bag of frozen crap. Just go there! you'll see what I mean.

This place has the best turkey burgers ever!!! I get so excited just thinking about getting one of these burgers. The staff is friendly, the food is reasonably priced, I mean who can beat two turkey burgers for $3 on Tuesdays. I hope they never change, because I love this place.

Hidden jewel in McDonough! The turkey burger is absolutely scrumptious and you can tell they use quality meat. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and I never have to wait...even at lunch time. This is my new spot in McDonough! Hope I don't OD on turkey burgers lol

This place is really good. We tried both the beef and turkey burgers, both were great. Everything was made fresh to order and the service was exceptional. Prices are very reasonable. Two thumbs up!

I NEVER leave reviews and I've tried sooo many restaurants listed on Yelp and no matter how good or bad the food was, I've never felt compelled to leave a review until now lol. My mom and I came here, because we were craving a burger. When I walked in I was ready to turn around, because I couldn't smell any food being cooked lol, but I was starving so we stayed. I got a 1/2 lb big burger with cheese and fries and my mom got the same. It took about 12 mins and our food was brought out to us. Omg when I say that burger was the juiciest most well seasoned burger I've ever had I mean it! It was soooooooo good! Seriously the best burger I've ever eaten and I've pretty much tried all of the burger places on Yelp around Atlanta and the metro area. My mom is one of those hard to please, complain about every restaurant type of people lol, but even she said it was the best burger she's ever had. I will say they can improve on their fries, neither of us liked them. A great burger needs great fries and even though they're fresh hand cut fries, we didn't care for them. Overall I'll be going here from now on when I want a great burger

Love this place! Best burger for miles. He doesn't try to dress it up in any fancy way, just a great burger and the grilled onions are wonderful. Turkey burger is also very tasty.

Ok, this is the real deal! Not sure what kind a magic Mikie has in that grill of his but it is putting out a fantastic burger. Apparently you don't need 5 guys to create a top notch hamburger, just 1, as long as it's Mikie. I have eaten at every gourmet 10 dollar burger joint in Atlanta and he's got them all beat. Gotta try it.

Best burger I have ever had!! Not sure what they do to them but wow!! Every time I've been there the food and service is excellent. Can't explain how the burgers taste other than to say I've never had s better burger, ever.

Best veggie wraps that you ever dreamt of. Fries are much better and improving in size. Wish veggie burgers come in a Morning Star patty instead of small pieces when you eat them. Wish veggie cooked in a separate grill reserved for veggie b/c it tastes like meaty on veggie wraps and veggie burgers. 100% recommended. We always send customers over to Mikie's b/c they are very friendly.

The best tgung they have is the Apple pie. The burgers are delicious, but over priced meals and no refills. Apple pie again is to die for.

Best turkey burger that I have ever eaten...flavorful, seasoned to perfection and juicy! The atmosphere was inviting and friendly. The restaurant was nearly full at noon on a Tuesday with regulars it appeared. Pleasantly surprised by how close this place was to my home. I found it browsing on Yelp! I'll definitely be back...

Great burgers, no doubt about it, but the chicken salad is one of the best that I've ever had in my life, and it's probably not like any salad that you've ever had. Very different. Very delicious. Reasonable prices and locally owned, as well. Check 'em out!

Thanks to the reviews on yelp my family and I decided to give Mikie's Big Burger a try. So glad that we did. The burgers were beyond good. Glad we found a place so close to home so that we can visit often. Best burger I ever had.

This was the best turkey burger I've ever tasted. Fresh and flavorful! I regret not getting the 1/2 pound burger. I'm so glad they are located in Henry county, close to home. I get tired if driving to Atlanta for quality food. I can not wait to visit them again!

Stopped while on the road based on other good reviews. Glad we did! Best turkey burger I've had anywhere and the sweet potato fries are done perfectly. If we are ever in the area again would definitely come back.

REALLY great turkey burger. Everywhere else I go, they're always overcooked and dry, but not here! Definitely will be back!

Stopped in after reading Yelp reviews on our way to Atlanta from Florida and yum! We have been everywhere for burgers and this is up there for one of the best. My son loved the turkey. It is not far off the interstate, worth the stop. Wish it was more busy at dinner. Need to get the word out:)

We are from out of town and went here because of the good reviews and we are glad we did .The beef burger with all the fixings was very juicy and very good. The sweet potato fries were crispy and not greasy at all( sign of correct temperature of cooking oil). The vegetable burger ( made In house with broccoli slaw, potatoes ,mushrooms and a couple of other vegies) was served on a wheat bun and came with Swiss cheese and ranch dressing . I chose not to have the dressing or cheese. The flavor was really good but I would not consider it a patty like a Bocca burger . You had to chase it ( the owners words ) with a fork which he brought to me.The service was wonderful . He checked on us a couple of times and thanked us for coming in. I hope we can eat here again so I can try the other burgers (chicken & turkey )

Over priced mediocre burgers and fries. Ok in a pinch, but nothing special. Service was great though.

This place is delicious!! I tried the turkey burger for the first time today and it was very good! Everything is made to order so it is all fresh. For a turkey burger, fries, and a drink it was only $6 which is pretty good for a local place. The dinning area is small, but can accommodate a family of 5.The service was great and there were a lot of frequent customers coming in. Love this place and I will definitely be back!

Wanted to try this place based on the reviews and unfortunately this is a case of good food being ruined by the atmosphere. I didn't realize that this isn't really a "sit down" restaurant until I got there--there's tables and chairs but it seems like that's not really the goal, seeing as it was not decorated and there was no music, therefore the whole place was so quiet I felt like I was at a funeral or something. There were people at every table but it was so quiet in there that I guess no one wanted to talk because everyone in there could hear your conversation. Mostly we just listened to the overly chatty cashier who carried on a whole range of weird conversations with everyone that came in. I've never been so secondhand embarrassed in my life and I ended up eating my burger faster than anything I've ever eaten in my life just so I could get away. The food was, as everyone else says, delicious but the fries are kind of lacking. Definitely needs some seasoning. Great bacon cheeseburger and my friend liked his veggie burger. But I'll never eat inside the restaurant again. Definitely takeout from now on.

I can't believe I just discovered this place! They prepared me a delicious old-fashioned bacon cheeseburger. It was sooo delicious!

Local beef. In times when companies are looking for ways to disguise where your food comes from, it's always nice to see it posted for all ... And it's from a source around the corner. We stop here every time we are south of the city. Way better than any chain. We get a 1/4 lb with fries and leave full. It's in a shopping center so don't expect fancy. It's about the food.

Waste of time...literally. I really wanted to like this place but alas, I was unable to. I am always looking for a good hamburger and I suppose my search will continue. I decided to try the 1LB burger( which is actually TWO hamburgers). I waited over 15 minutes for a to go order and then realized it was a meal built for two. The staff were not as friendly to me as they were to others who they seemed to be familiar with. The dining room was crowded and there were no available places to sit. The menu price for the burger was posted as $9.99, but on the receipt the price is $10.00( not to be cheap, but honor the price advertised). The burger had no flavor in the meat and mostly tasted of greasy grill. This place just had an uncomfortable feeling all around and the food was nothing to boast about. Meh...at best.

I love this place! I work nearby and one of my coworkers told me about Mikie's, specifically because they have a Tuesday special: 2 turkey burgers for $3.69! They also have really good salads they call "hot salads" that have sautéed chicken and vegetables. DELISH. It's a nice, homegrown intimate spot that always provides really good service. And the burgers are awesome! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the McDonough area.

Amazing turkey burger. Very fresh and flavorful. Fries were pretty good nothing too fancy. Its very small inside so its best to get orders to go and it takes about 15 to 20 mins to get your order.

I thought that this was a pretty decent burger. The service was good and the wait time was pretty good. It's comparable to Five Guys, but with a homemade touch. Overall a good place to go.

Let's start with the reason you need to be here: the turkey burger. I've not had one of their beef burgers. Im sure they are good. But the turkey burgers are some of the best I've had. Succulent and flavorful, they stand out from the pre-formed patties that other places use. If you want a juicy turkey burger on the southside look no further. The atmosphere. I've eaten at my share of "hole in the wall" and dive joints that had great food. But those place wore their diveness as a badge of honor. Unapologetic dive-y if you will. Mikie's is a nice place trying to be nice and failing atmosphere-wise. The usual complaint in most places is that the atmosphere is too loud. Here, it is too quiet. Strange, I know. But just as off-putting as too much noise. There is a boombox in one corner of the restaurant that is tuned to a local radio station. The volume is set low. And that is the only ambient sound in the place. My guess is that the table arangement doesn't invite conversation as they sit in the middle of the already small restaurant. My suggestion would be booths on either side of the restaurant with a couple of four-tops in between. And a overhead speaker system piping in satellite radio. One more thing: in this day and age where unlimited refills are de rigueur it seems a little off-putting to charge for the second drink refill (the first is free). I do not drink more than one refill and I'm sure most reasonable people don't either. But limiting it screams "I'm cutting cost!" and "I'm going to nickel-and-dime you!" Not what you want to convey to your patrons. None of the negatives will keep me from going back and neither should it keep YOU from eating here. Yes, the burgers are that good!

We were craving burgers and wanted something different. The place is small, but our family of 7 had room. Some of our kids got grilled cheese, one ordered wings, and everyone else got burgers. The burgers were made to order and they had good flavor. I ordered the turkey burger and it was really good. The turkey burger had great flavor. The texture was a bit different, but the flavor was so very tasty. The fries were decent- I would suggest some seasoned salt, maybe. I love local places, and I will return.

Went here on a lunch date. The dining area was very clean; good customer service. I got a regular cheeseburger meal. I really enjoyed the taste of the burger. The burger was cooked to perfection and the toppings were fresh. The thick cut fries were good also. The burger wasn't the best burger I have ever had but it was a thousand times better than any fast food burger joint in the area. I will be going back and referring my family & friends.

I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a Really Good! Really Juicy burger! Beef or turkey. They are BOTH good! (Also very fond of their chicken sandwich. Chick-fil-a who?!?!) There are 2 cooks and everything is made fresh, so you won't be in and out. The most expensive thing on the menu is only $6.99 so you won't be breaking the bank either.
