Not kidding best NY pizza in East Cobb. Laid back. Friendly. I seriously almost ate half of a large pizza. It's that good.

One star is for the pizza tasting great from a prior visit. Family sat down to eat, and over 40 minutes after our order was taken, I inquired as to when our food would come out. Was told there were a lot of take out orders (irrelevant - the expediter should have a FIFO system for orders), and that our order hadn't even been started at all. Walked out - will never ever come here again. Clue: professional manager needed onsite during all operating hours.

Ate here for the first time last night. Took a longgg time to get our order taken. When it the food finally arrived, we had been in the restaurant for 50 minutes...on a Tuesday night. One of our pizzas came not as we had ordered. That said, the pizza was good and the server took action to comp us for the bad experience. A big plus is that they have a kids play area which kept our kids busy while we waited.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon to order a slice. It wasn't busy. There was one other couple dining in and no line at the register. The kid who made my slice did an amazing job, but the manager who was working was definitely lacking. It took way too long for him to come by and take my order. There were dirty tables that just sat there the entire time I ate. The manager just acted like he didn't want to be there or want my service. If you don't want the job then why be there? I overheard him talking about leaving early to see his girlfriend. What kind of manager abandons the shift during the day? Yeah..I used to come here a lot but it's really that one manager, I believe his name starts with a K, that just makes me not want to continue coming. The slice of pepperoni and pineapple was on point though so 3 stars for that cook back there!!

Terrible experience. I know this is a pizza place, but the whole atmosphere was chaotic and unsettling. The setup with arcade games right in one end just a couple of feet from the tables was horrendous. My wife said it felt like we were at Chuck E. Cheese. And there was a smoky haze throughout the restaurant. Then the food came out. My wife got the special, fettuccine alfredo. The sauce looked like it was poured right out of a bottle. I ordered baked ziti, supposedly a specialty, but they brought the wrong item. They tried to drop off ravioli. When I told them the mistake, the waitress carried it away and came back a few minutes later with ziti. Problem was, they didn't bake it! Th just poured it into a bowl, put a piece of cheese across the top and dropped it off. It was a stark contrast to the version my daughter got. In fact it was almost comical. I can think of four or five better choices within a couple of miles, so I won't be back.

I visited this location when the kids were ittle and could easily amuse themselves while the adults enjoyed the great food. If the little ones having a good time bother you, call ahead and take home. The pizza is NY style and the subs are a big bonus. The value you get with their salads isn't matched by too many restaurants in the area. There is something for everyone on the menu. The folks are nice and professional.

I thought this place had a great concept when I stopped by and noticed that they specialized in NY style pizzas. Then I saw that they also made sub sandwiches and my mind was literally blown away. Talk about killing two birds with one heck of a stone. Pizza places are something that I visit once every three or four months. I don't really see a point in spending a lot of money at a pizza diner when you can go to Kroger and pick up a Digiorno Pizza for 5 bucks and easily feed two or three people. What should you expect from Johnny's Pizza as far as the food is concerned? All that I really ask for from a place that specializes in pizza is that they make the slices as greasy as possible, and I am happy to report that Johnny's Pizza and Subs in Marietta lived up to their part of the bargain. There is nothing really special about the environment at Johnny's though. The interior looks like a KFC with a hint of commercialized Italian flair. The lights are mostly fluorescent, which really irritates me, mainly because of how cheap they make any business look. Typically the crowd that frequents Johnny's is the typical American family unit with their bratty kids, as well as some cool high school kids who chill out at the booths and throw red pepper all over each other.

This is my favorite local pizza joint. Is it award winning food?? Probably not. But it IS consistently good and they have nightly beer specials. Most importantly, they have a little corner set aside with a bunch of toys so your kids can entertain themselves while you're waiting on the food. My kids like to go sit there and play while they wait on their grub, leaving the hubs and I to - GASP! - have an uninterrupted conversation. When we go we (a family of five) get a big salad to share, the cheese bread sticks (which ROCK my world), and a large pizza. We always have pizza leftover. Suddenly I am craving Johnny's. Crud. So much for the diet.....

I happened on this location of Johnny's when as a boy scout at 14 we went hear for our Christmas party. We opened cruddy gag gifts and they fed us pizza. The building still reminds me of cruddy gag gifts. There are about a billion kids in here at all times. They swarm around the tables and the video game stations. They put fingers in their drinks and sneeze. The pizza's pretty decent, and they have a slew of other Italian eats: sandwiches, pastas, etc. Nothing too out of the ordinary, just good standard pizza house fare. In fact the menu here is more extensive than most other pizza places I can think of. Nice for groups who don't all want the same thing. Not too easy on the eyes, but decent eats if you're willing.
