I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is great and I love the calamari. It is a little on the expensive side but nothing too extreme. It's wonderful for drinks and if you can get in on Friday, there is live Jazz. It's my special place. Must go!

Took my wife here for date night. Great food, crab cakes were amazing. Atmosphere great, drinks great. Server was knowledgable and friendly. Overall highly recommend it.

The food was pretty good. The service was very mediocre. The live band in the front of the restaurant was really good and a bit loud if you wanted to have conversation during dinner. Truth be told our mediocre experience begin with a very mediocre greeting by the hostess when we came in the front door. We really liked the atmosphere with the rich woods lighting and Indian blanket backed chairs and Booths.

What a pleasant surprise in Lithonia! I had never heard of this place, even after living in Arizona (does not exist there). I liked it from the moment we pulled up. It had curb appeal, a nice vibe, and a large, CLEAN, dining area. The staff was even on point. They had a special brunch menu this Easter Sunday. I tried the Pancakes and Chicken. It was deliciouso. I left nothing on my plate. The server kept our glasses full, and the food coming. It was a great experience and a pleasant surprise. Next time I am in the area, I will definitely stop here. I asked the waiter how many locations they have and this is the only one in Atlanta. There are 4-5 overall.

Went here with coworkers for lunch. I had the seared tuna salad with avacado and mango, which was a great choice. Overall, the salad was tasty and the portion size was great, but, the asian salad dressing was a tad sweet and the service was just average at best. I'd return for the salad, not the waitstaff.

Ribeye was awesome. Tried the buttermilk garlic ranch and vinegarette dressings. Both were very unique. My wife got the Sedona pasta and we all liked it. Very clean. Service was good even with a packed Friday night crowd.

The server we had was amazing and the food was so good!!!! The portions were perfect, the price wasn't bad, the atmosphere was intimate. I loved it. Next time I'm coming with a date and not my mom. Definitely try the jalapeños grits.

This is a really nice place to dine. It has open and roomy seating. The lighting is perfect for romance. Would love to visit again when the live band is playing. Our waitress was very friendly and our food was served in a timely manner. Okay, so my thing is to try crab cake whenever I eat out. It's not a real crab cake unless it has real lump crab meat and more of it than the breading. Arizona's serves REAL crab cakes, folks, that are really tasty. My friend had the Scottsdale chicken which she thought was dry. I also had the fried lobster tail which was good, although the batter overwhelmed the lobster. A better move would have been to order the grilled lobster instead. Next time... And let's not forget the drinks, although my friend thought the Long Island Tea was on the weak side, my Creamsicle martini was oh soooo good! Down the hatch! :-) Eat Up!

Arizona's is a pretty good (and smaller) restaurant chain which provides a pretty hearty dose of Southwestern food and some alright service without delivering anything extraordinary or particularly interesting. I've been here a few times when traveling for business, and I must say that as others have noted, the service can be a little spotty. I generally seem to wait 5 or more minutes for a beer, even when the place is dead, which seems a little excessive given that they have all of four or five beers on tap. The food itself is a pretty decent combination of southwestern and Southern-fried dishes. The cheese grits are especially pretty good. I've had a few of the entrees and sandwiches and they always leave me satisfied, though they probably won't rock your world. Overall it's hard to say anything particularly negative about Arizona's. I just get the sense that it's a little pricey for what it is (the entrees and sandwiches are pretty standard restaurant chain fare with a Southern twist), and the service doesn't excel enough to really make up the difference. I'm sure I'll be back, as it's very close to the business-class hotels in the area, and you could do a whole lot worse.

Had dinner last night. Really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our waiter "Camron" was funny & attentive. The spinach dip, like you all said was awesome. My granny apple salad was very good. My Fish & Chips......the fish was "fishy". So I didn't finish it but I ate everything else and will be going back.

Yes! A new favorite place. Great vibes in this place. Wonderful staff and REALLY GOOD FOOD. I recommend the honey-lime vinaigrette on your salad. Jalopeno cheese grits and sweet potato hashbrowns. Grilled salmon and ribeye were perfect. Go there now.

Great steakhouse on the eastside! Whether you're dining with friends or solo, the staff makes your experience a good one. I enjoy the fresh bread before the meal and the signature steaks are yummy. On some evenings, there's live music.

I love Tuesdays here! Live jazz, awesome group! The bar area is nice but right by the band which is very loud. The food is on point. Get the baked beans, garlic mash potatoes and grilled BBQ chix. Yummy wine selections too! Key lime pie was bite sized and tasted similar to Sara Lee, lol.

The food here is ok & like Forest Gump, that is all I'm going to say about that. The reason I come here( on Tuesdays @ 7pm) is for the live jazz. Frankly in a metro area of almost 5.5 million people, the live music scene in the ATL is inadequate. Well for whatever reason, this Arizona's is trying its level best to pick up the slack. I don't know the promoters name but you will know him when you see him. Get on the email list. The music is top notch. Typically it will be a 4 or 5 man troupe (I have only known one woman to come here to perform) led by a horn or keyboard player. The players mostly come from the usual places like Memphis, New Orleans, Nashville, and here. But there will be the odd Chicagoan or Cincinattian in the mix. This is straight ahead jazz (if you are looking for Ornette Coleman, keep looking) but when the musicians improv, they really get going. You will hear such stylized classics as Summertime & just about anything from George Benson and Frere Escavedo. Of course these young guys have CD's to sell & I encourage you to support them. In short this is s wonderful place to hear some good live music, see & be seen and have a good drink. Tip your waitress!

I've only eaten here once, but I was very impressed. I had the ahi tuna salad, and I hold back that 5th star until I return for dinner. I have high hopes for this place though.

I took my Mom here for a Birthday lunch celebration along with my oldest daughter and we were impressed at how delicious our food was. The service was ok, nothing to get excited about, she definitely wasn't. But, the food made up for that easily. We had a great time enjoying each others company and laughs. The fish dishes were great. I had the fish & chips plate with a little tweek. I substituted the shoestring fries for sauteed spinach which was very tasty. The seasoning was right on time. I also had my fish grilled instead of fried. I've been eating way too much fried food lately, gotta slow down per my most recent discovery stated in my Yelp profile. The fish was delicious! It was seasoned well, texture was perfect, simply good. My Mom had the salmon dish and substituted the cheese grits for some delicious garlic mashed potatoes...yum! And she added a side of broccoli. Now, broccoli can be a very temperamental dish to make. I prefer mine a little firm, not soggy and soft and the seasoning has to be added very gently or else it can over-power the broccoli. They did good. This broccoli dish was steamed, firm, and seasoned really well. Nice job. My daughter had the fish & chips plate and decided to have hers fried with the shoestring fries (oh the joys of being young and eating without a conscious :-). I did have the enjoyment of having some of her fries, they were good. Something about shoestring fries feels guilt free to me. The staff was very professional, definitely added to the upscale atmosphere that I wasn't expecting, or was it the prices?? They are pricey. Be prepared to spend a grip when you're not by yourself, or have a nice soup and salad or just an appetizer dish. The name is very unassuming. I've passed this restaurant so many times I can't tell you how many, but glad we decided on trying it out. Looking forward to trying them again.

Went there for the first time with some friends last night and we had a really good time. The atmosphere was lively and people there very friendly. Music was decent but definitely NOT jazz...far from it actually, more R&B and mix of other styles. They should just call it "live music" instead of "live jazz", or I guess they're trying to attract a certain clientele. The food looked good from what I saw and friends who ate said it was delicious! Wine list was not so good...very limited choice of decent wines by-the-glass....they were mostly cheap low quality brands except for one Coppola claret and Blackstone that are good but other than that not much to offer in that area. Bar manager should revisit these selections of wines by-the-glass for sure. Also, a bit of a meat-market by the bar area but overall, not a bad spot to hang out. Look forward to visiting again, especially in the warmer months when I'm told people gather outside on the patio.

Went here for dinner on a Friday evening. There was no wait. Relaxing atmosphere. My husband got the sirloin which had great flavor - he annihilated it. I had the Corn soufflé with my meal which I would certainly get a second time. Service was not quite as good as the food but I would eat here again.

Ok food...awful service. Not worth it for my cash and calories. We visit this area at least three times a year for 10 days or more (you guessed grandkids?...you are right!) so finding good food is of utmost importance. I don't cook on the road - well, I don't really cook at home either but that is another conversation. So, we walked into Arizona's we were met with a jazz ensemble at the door (almost hanging out of the door really) and thought that was a good sign. The music sounded good and there were several available tables in the dining room (far enough away from the jam session to be able to hear myself read the menu). The hostess took us to the very back of the restaurant and placed us next to a 15 person party (happy birthday) who had not yet received their meals (should have been a clue) and we sat and waited...and waited...and waited while at least four waiters passed us by without so much as a glance in our direction. After about 10 minutes (I give paying clients 15 minutes wait time - if I am paying, 10 is the limit) we walked out and went to Smokey Bones across the parking lot. (see other review for that info) Now we have been here at least four times before, two of those times we have received excellent service, now they are two and two (baseball fans you hear me right?) but the food is not good enough to tolerate mediocre service. It is "chain food" at best and sometimes you can get a good steak that is cooked properly - but there is no way to know in advance which experience you will have. I will give them props for the sweet potato hash browns...can I get those to go?

Wow, you have got to try this place out. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is the best I've had in a long time. I had the Calamari which came with this sauce that I could eat by itself. Then I had the Crab Cakes which were amazing. I can't wait to go back and try some other things from the menu.

I had a mini family reunion there - party of 9 and service was HORRIBLE! We went for Veteran's Day at 7:30 pm. All four men at the table were veterans. We were told that they were out of salmon and out of filet mignon. They would not substitute another item for the special Veteran's Menu even when the veteran offered to pay the upcharge. So we ordered, got our food, ate and sat around and talked and then noticed another table of people were eating FILET MIGNON! What??!!?? So we called the waitress over and asked her about it and she said that it just wasn't ready to be served when we asked for it. We explained to her how "we are out" and "not ready to be served because it's not finished cooking" were 2 different things. We spoke to her manager to explain and she tried to back up the server with the excuse of it was just a misuse of words. We then told her how she messed up with Chicken Cesear Salad by leaving out the CHICKEN. No adjustment was made to our bill. This is an example of poor customer service. I was embarrased to bring family from out of town here and this happened. More comprehensive training needs to occur with the staff. Very dissapointing!!!

I've only visited this Arizona's once, but I can not wait to go back again! They have live jazz on Friday and Tuesday nights. The service is impeccable and the food is really good -- standard american fare. Not to mention they have an expansive martini and wine menu. My suggestion is to try the raspberry lemon drop martini --Very smooth drink! My recommendations are: - Appetizer: Tempura Shrimp - Entree :Chicken & Shrimp alfredo pasta Other pluses: Plenty of Parking, Very attentive service, great music! Minuses: It's quite a distance from where I live, but I'm willing to make the drive for a great dining experience. I suggest that if you want a solid all around dining experience and excellent ambiance, to try Arizona's at Stonecrest!

So I've been here a few times and the food/service are hit and miss with each visit. My latest visit was on a Friday night where there is a live band. So if you can imagine, the wait time was 45min-1.5hr as many of the parties here get a table and act like they don't know how to get up. And with a band, comes the crowded parking lot (I parked alllll theeeee wwaaaaayy by IHOP) and people standing around your table dancing like its the club. The crowd was probably late thirties mid-late forties, but some of us that are still holding on to the 20s were in the bldg hehehe. The service was slow and I guess that was to be expected kinda sorta... The band was decent...really loud so if you are looking to just eat and listen to music (even though they took like an hour break, go figure) then this is the place for you. We we talking semi-business so we were forced to yell at each other. The food is usually pretty good. I would recommend the spinach dip (yum!) and stay away from the calamari (dripping in grease). The pastas are pretty good, my fave is the Pasta Sedona. My friends enjoyed their Salmon entree and Arizona rustica (also pasta). Overall, its a nice spot, but I like it when its a little quieter...

If you live around this area then you know that there's not much to offer as in the nightlife. If I'm wrong, PLEASE let me know because I haven't found anything yet, lol. Anyhow, Arizona usually has a band on Tuesday and Friday night. The band is hot to me. There's no fee to enter. For the most part, everyone dresses nicely. The band is real good and it makes me wish that the place had a dance floor, but it doesn't. I'm going to tell you now, it gets packed in there and there isn't much room if you're by the bar. There's plenty of room if you're eating because tables are on the opposite side.

My best friend and I, as well as my parents used to come here for lunch once or twice a month. I come here for the spinach dip, AH-mazing. The food is awesome. Arizona's seems a little out of place because it's kind of in the ghetto, but this place is a jem. The service is impeccable and I always have a great experience here.

So, here's the thing.... Arizona's is a beautiful restaurant, the waitstaff is topnotch, the drink menu is expansive, but I find myself somewhat disappointed every time I eat here. I'd say its a solid 3.5 stars, the cuisine isn't anything surprising or ground breaking, and there aren't many vegetarian options, usually I end up with a Cesar salad with extra croutons, and an impromptu veggie plate, usually whatever the veggie of the night is along with corn or mashed potatoes. I come here for the drinks, not the food, if you aren't a vegetarian you might enjoy Arizona's a little more than I do.

Ended up here randomly on a Saturday night to hang out with a friend. Very nice decor. Attentive, pleasant staff. Decent food and great drinks. We ate at the bar because there was a small wait. It was busy, but not obnoxiously so, and the staff took it in stride. Had a good time chatting with others at the bar. A "grown-n-sexy" crowd.

Nice and and organic feel to the environment. The service is excelllente. At dinner time they are very crowded, I opt for the early bird. It is a kewl location right off the expressway. I also enjoyed my drink on the nice open air patio.

I went to this place the first week that it opened and I really wasnt expecting much..... thought it would just be the same ole same ole steak house joint... But to my surprise it was nothing of the sort........ The decore of this place is great it has a modern arizona type feel with long heads mounted on the walls but at the same time it keeps its updated feel..... I love to order the Ribeye steak cooked medium with loaded potato and glass of red wine they always make it to perfection........ They also have a live jazz band on Mondays or Fridays I forget but its something to check out... always just enough people never over crowed..... And if your a wine taster like me please try out there Riesling selection its pretty nice.

If I ever make it back to this area, this is one place I probably won't go back to. There were good things and bad things about this place, but for the price, the overall mediocrity was a turn off. I will start off with service. The need to retrain some of their hostesses. We had called ahead to reserve an 8 person table, specifically saying we wanted to sit together. The hostess said she would let us know if it was possible or not. Called us back and said she put us down on the list. When we arrived we were told we had a bit of a wait. When she did finally bring us over to the eating area she said it was impossible to seat us all together and that there was nothing she could do. Not only was she rude and acted like she could care less if we stayed or not, but we had specifically asked to eat together and wasn't told until we got there that that was impossible. We understood that it was graduation season and that many parties were coming in, but they should have just said that over the phone so that we could have gone somewhere else. Many of us, me included, where from out of town and celebrating our own graduations/acceptances into graduate school, and having to separate our table was very unfortunate. We did speak with one of the manager and he was helpful in hearing our criticism, and I hope he takes it to heart or he'll be losing a lot more customers. He comped us appetizers for the trouble and honestly, without them this would have been a disaster. Our waiter, a tall bald gentleman whose name I cannot remember, was fantastic. He was very helpful with choosing the food and drinks and was just so friendly it was a very nice change. For appetizers we received the tempura shrimp which came with shoestring fries and the denver lamb ribs. Both were very delicious. The lamb was falling off the bone and the tempura shrimp was very tasty, though I could have done without the dip it came with. My friend had a soup which was tasty, but I can't recall the name, and my caeser salad was large and good. A friend and I ordered the sexy 6 footer drink. The drink was made by a beautiful and charming 6 foot bartender who was very friendly and nice. I'd give the drink a 4 out of 5. It was tasty but a bit too sweet so that when you go closer to the bottom it tended to leave a overly sweet taste in your mouth. For entrees I went with the signature sirloin. I have no idea who thought putting a pineapple glaze on steak was a good idea, but they must have lost their taste buds long ago. It was made perfectly rare which I was happy about, but I had to give up half way through as the glaze was just too disgusting. I had the chorizo mac and cheese with it. I don't get all the hooplah. It was spicy and okay but nothing memorable. It definitely needed the sausage was it or else it would have just been pretty tasteless. One of my friends received really undercooked pork chops and had to send them back. It was thick cut so I can understand how an amateur would undercook them, but if you're a chef in the restaurant, you should be able to get that right. She sent it back and the recooked it in a pan. Next time just give her a whole new pork chop. She had a corn suffle with it, which was tasty. The other food was ok. Nothing memorable and nothing I would come back for. We spoke with another manager and she was very friendly and charming. Overall it was an okay experience, but our table having to be split up was a huge turn off. For the price I would go somewhere else.

I really have had hit and miss experiences here. It's either been screamingly good service or horrendously bad service, there isn't really a middle ground. If you go in for a visit be prepared for both. One thing is consistent though...the food is good. The jalapeño cheese grits are worth a try.

I was excited to experience Arizona's but the excitement turned to disappointment. I loved the decor. It reminded me of home. I am from California. But I can't really rate anything other than the bar area. We were there for a birthday party and we had a large party. We were told we must be there on time. But the group ended up waiting for one hour and twenty minutes from the reservation time. My husband and couldn't wait any longer, we had gotten there early TO BE ON TIME and left after waiting an hour past the reservation time. We ended up going somewhere else and got served immediately. Thank God.

I've been here twice and have enjoyed myself both times. The food is wonderful here and offers a variety of different kinds of sides. I get tired of going to a steakhouse type place and only being able to choose your standard baked potatoes, brocolli, sweet potatoes, etc. The sides had twists to them all. I really enjoyed the sweet potato hashbrowns garnished with chives and bacon bits. It was a heavenly blend in my mouth! The service was decent. Overall, in that area at Stonecrest Mall, Arizona's is definitely a Gem.

Seriously, I don't know why some of my friends LOVE this place so much! The live music is good, but for the love of God toooo FREAKING loud! The food is JUST okay. But, because the options are seriously lacking in this area, people think this place is phenomenal. It is not! I have had the pasta, two of their salads, and drinks from the bar- NONE of it would make me bring a friend, I wanted to impress here.

Arizona's has steaks, chops and seafood and is nestled right next to the shopping mall at Stonecrest. I must admit after the first couple of times I ate here I just knew this was a sister restaurant to downtown Atlanta's, Houston's, but a manager quickly let me know there was no affiliation. It's a mistake anyone could make. The food is just as good and they even serve the spinach dip exactly the same way. Arizona's does offer a better choice when it comes to entertainment. They host live jazz at least two nights a week. Avoid the crowd on the weekends by going early. This is also a hang out spot with a decent size bar if you are looking to sip and socialize. Service is stellar and even if the do happen to get something wrong they will go out of their way to correct the problem. Arizona's makes for a appetizing alternative to downtown dining. If you find yourself east of the perimeter I suggest you try out this steak restaurant named for the west coast state.

I went on a Friday night. Our wait was over an hour. The good thing is they called my cell phone when our table was ready. So we didn't have to stay there and wait on the table. After a hour or so, we finally sat down. The music there is so loud. They had a live band. We didn't expect the music to be that loud. We couldn't hear anything our waiter was saying and that wasn't good because he got really close to us so we could hear each other and his cologne was so strong. The food was great. Everything came out very hot and everything tasted wonderful. The drinks were really good too. They know how to mix drinks, and 1 drink will be enough. The band took a short break. This was good because we had a chance to eat and talk while they were away. We left before they came back from break. If it wasn't for the music, I would've given them 5 stars.

My first experience at Arizona's was the weekend after thanksgiving and I must say that the grilled shrimp and cheese grits rocked my world. The service was ok being that it was a very busy night. I dined before the band started, but it proved to be popular after work social type scene as the bar was packed. Over all awesome experience. As a matter of fact I'm waiting for them to open now... Ok just had lunch (01/2/10) and once again the grilled shrimp and cheese grits hit the spot. My sister ordered the shrimp appetizer) and a side of cheese grits for those looking for a small meal as a meal and she was content. We were the first customers of the day but our server was awesome and it made my trip back to Valdosta great.

I really like this place. Good music, food, and drinks. Last time I went, I had the spinach dip with corn chips, and the salmon and grits entree. Both excellent. The service has always been great. I have nothing bad to say about the place!

Although we arrived a bit late in the evening, around 9:45 PM, I had hoped for nice experience, given the absolutely gorgeous interior design of the restaurant. Unfortunately the interior decor is most likely the best part of this place. While it might host a lively social gathering and provide good hunting for those on the singles scene (of which I am one), it doesn't appear to be the best choice if you're looking for great meal. My prime rib was mediocre at best, over cooked, indifferently seasoned, and generally unremarkable. Steamed vegetables and baked potato were par for the course, nothing to write home about. Overall, I'd say go there for the atmosphere, the socializing, and the decor, but not the food.

My hubbi and I must have passed this place about 3 times before stopping and askin someone where it was. And clearly we could see it from the road...and clearly we were not drinking....yet. LOL. Well finally we made it. When we walked in we noticed how lovely the ambiance was. I am such a vampire(ok not really) but I am a sucker for dim lights in restaurants. This restaurant glowed. We were just going for drinks and they told us there would be a 40 minute wait. Clearly (the word of the day is clearly) this was a Saturday night and we had my mom in town who was sitting for us...clearly we had nothing but time right?? Wrong. I am patient, my husband however is not. Ha! So we look at the bar....it's full. My hubbi spots a booth right by the bar where no one seems to be sitting and asked the bartender was there any reason it wasn't occupied. They mentioned something about heavy traffic but if we were only drinking we could definitely sit there. So a 40 min wait turned into a 5 minute wait afterall if that. There menu was massive and a little onthe expensive side. I ordered (some sweet lady reccommended this) a Stormy night and a Stonecrest Fusion. Honeslty...these were the BEST drinks I ever had....my hubbi who is about a buck 90 can drink....He could barely finish his long island...He was tore up!! I could not believe this...you have to be kiddin me...I had to drive home and he only had 1 1/2 drinks. Me 2 martinis. They were not selfish with the liquor and Tracey at the bar was awesome fixin dem' drinks :-) our bill was 46.00 for 4 drinks and we gave her 60 keep the change girl...just remember us...cause we ARE coming back....best drinks in the A!

Great Friday night spot with great food, live music, and a DJ. You can bring your lawn chairs and sit out in front of the restaurant where servers wait on you. The section is roped off for safety and comfort. Nice crowd and everyone has a good time. We felt very safe because law enforcement was visible and kept the order. The food is great! Definitely should try the Salmon Chips!

This is my go to spot on any given Friday when I'm in the mood for good food and a sultry live band. The restaurant is a tad small (but great ambiance )it gets crowded fast. Friday nights are always packed so it's better to dine before 9pm if you want to get a table in a timely fashion, after 9 you may have to wait a hour or two but with the amazing band and good drinks the time passes fast. During the summer time on Friday night the band plays outside in the parking lot as long as it doesn't rain so I always come prepared with a couple of chairs just in case. Although the wait to get a table might be long the food comes out fast and hot everytime. The customer service is always good which is not always the case for many crowded restaurants where the server is either trying to get you in and out quickly or simply forget you are even there. My favorite dish is the salmon entrée which comes over jalapeño cheese grits and a side, the veggies are always fresh. If you are ever near the Stonecrest mall area even if it is not on a Tuesday or Friday night when they have a live band I would recommend this spot. Great place for date night, a business meeting over lunch or dinner, and of course just to have some drinks at the bar.

Okay so I order the Arizona's Ribeye and it was amazing. Steak cooked to perfection nice and juicy definitely no need for steak sauce....sweet glaze was amazing. With great service and amazing food you can't go wrong.

My friend invited me to Arizona's for their live music night on Friday, they also have this event on Saturday nights as well. So I made the trek out to Lithonia and had a great time. Arizona's is located in the same shopping center at Stonecrest mall however this restaurant is so crowded on weekend nights that I had to park at the Men's Warehouse next door. When I arrived at the restaurant half of their parking lot was roped off for the live band. Everyone brought lawn chairs and friends and turned the atmosphere into what felt like an outdoor concert. The ambience outside is very casual, I felt a little overdressed in my heels. There were at least 75 people outside for the concert but I only saw 2 waiters. Granted most people seated outside were only ordering drinks and a few people ordered food but they still were extremely understaffed. About 20 mins after arriving I was able to track down a waiter and order the Grilled Fish and Chips ($20). My food came out around another 20 mins later and was delicious. The tilapia was grilled to perfection in a lemon herb sauce. The shoestring fries were addictive and the small side of cole slaw tasted fresh. Arizona's offers a great atmosphere with their weekend live music as well as delicious food. It's worth the drive.

My first time eating here, and the food was good! A must try is the Salmon Chips. A large portion of food enough to feed 2-4 people as an appetizer. The savory capes in this dish truly brought joy to my tastebuds' expectations. We took advantage of the brunch, so the french toast with eggs was a good choice. Include beverages, salad and soup all for a reasonable price. As for the soup, I tried the Prime Rib and Onion Soup. Tasty! I'm looking forward to my next visit for live jazz on Tuesday and Friday nights. Our waitress, Monique B., was great!!! If I had a restaurant, I would have to make her an offer that she couldn't refuse!

I came here on a weekday night with a friend who highly recommended this establishment. I want to like this place so badly because there is so much potential, but they just fell short. The food was amazing however the rest of the experience is what earned them their 2 stars. Upon receiving my food I went to open up my silverware and to my surprise it was dirty! The napkin and the silverware were not presentable to eat with. We asked for a manager (sorry forgot her name) who was so very nice and got me some new silverware hand rolled by herself immediately. However the great service ended there. I'm not sure if our server was then worried we were upset but we had a hard time locating her. When she did come, I ordered another drink which took another 20 minutes. The establishment was not busy at this time so I'm not sure why the service was so slow. When she brought back the drink, we asked to go ahead and pay. My friend paid with a gift card and asked that the remaining balance was applied to my bill. Our server must have forgot because she did not apply it to mine. I wish they would put as much effort into their quality of service as they do the quality of their food. They have a lot of potential however I don't think I'll be visiting again anytime soon.

This restaurant always gets 5 stars from me. Everyone from the hostesses to the bartenders and waitresses are always polite and attentive, decided to not give in to my craving of their Salmon chips(my favorite) and go low carb. My spinach and Salmon was so good! It was so good I felt like I was cheating on my diet:) Until next time Arozona's !

Came to Arizona's on a whim one Saturday evening! What a pleasant surprise! The ambiance is sexy!!! Lol No seriously, it's a great atmosphere in here. Nice place to have a meal. I had the best waitress ever! Her name was Siana. She was lively, had a great, upbeat personality and knew the menu like a superb waitress is supposed to.. We arrived around 430 so we waited 30 minutes so I was able to order the prime rib! Oh joy! I had to be the happiest woman in the world. I got to order the end cut since I got the first prime rib of the day. Greatness in a steak! My entree came with a salad (house or Caesar ; I chose Caesar) and a side. I ordered the loaded baked potato to accompany my steak. Excellent choice. Since we came the day after Halloween, they were carrying over the holiday specials. They had a drink for $8 called Witch's Brew. Vodka, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and dark liqueur. Awesome sauce! They also had shots for $8 & you got to keep the skull shot glass. So, my boyfriend & I each ordered one! I love shot glasses & souvenirs. I won! Lol... up until I forgot my shot glasses and when I called back the manager told me they were thrown out. We spent about $80 for great food, service & drinks. I want to come back on a Friday when they have live music and get that experience, as well.

Ate here on a Tuesday, at around 6 p.m. , wasn't too busy. Had a party of 3, we were sat fairly quick and greeted by our waitress in a timely fashion. The good, the drinks were good and strong. The food came out surprisingly fast. Which was great because I was hungry and couldn't wait to eat. The complimentary bread was also pretty good as well. The food was alright, the lamb was a little too fatty. The fish and chips was decent nothing really worth describing. The corn soufflé just had too much going on and it wasn't good, dry and the jalapeño throws the flavor off. Overall I feel this is a great place to just grab some drinks but the food isn't worth going for.

Before this past weekend, I haven't been to this spot in YEARS! I stopped in for drinks with some friends after a birthday gathering. Luckily we arrived when we did because they closed sooner than we realized they would. I ordered a cocktail and appetizer. One friend ordered as I did and the other, a cocktail. I had the Stormy Night, which the server stated is one of their top 5 drinks. I think I tried it in the past as well. I don't remember what alcohol was in it but I did enjoy it. My appetizer was Salmon chips. They were tasty but could have been better had they been hotter. I would definitely order them again. I tried the Calamari my friend ordered and I liked it. She has the drink called Tyrone(another top 5) and it was tasty. I will definitely get it my next go round. I look forward to going back so I can order it. We enjoyed our cocktails and apps as well as girl talk. It was a great night!

I had business in Lithonia, and stayed at a hotel near the mall. It's surrounded by a sea of mediocre chain restaurants of the type I'm sure you know all too well. My colleague insisted this one was the best option, so we met another coworker here for dinner. He may have been right about this being the best option, but that is damning with faint praise. It's a pleasant atmosphere, a sort of gigantic hunting lodge vibe. Service was friendly and competent. Food is pretty standard business account dining: prime rib, steak, chops, seafood. I had some decent crab cakes and jalapeno grits with enough heat to make a difference but not too much. They charge premium prices, so the just OK menu qualifies as disappointing. You may have to travel a bit to find something better, but it's worthwhile unless you have unadventurous companions and someone else is paying.

...I've been here quite a few times. Always clean. They are also expanding but doesn't impact or disrupt parking or customers. Good for a date night or to watch the big game if you're into sports. They have jazz musicians who comes out and plays on Tuesday nights. The wait staff constantly checks on you and the mgr checks on you also to make sure everything is going fine. Tonight choice entree was chicken tenders, fries & Cole slaw. Drink of choice was Baileys Irish Creme. Wasnt the best but their salmon is superb!

Okay, husband and I out for date night and I decided to try out at a local eatery near Stonecrest Mall. We decided on Arizona. Take it it was a Friday night we did expect it to be busy. The wait was long and once it was time to sit down for dinner we was ignored for about five more minutes eventually we sat down and the waitress took our order. We got there at 8 o'clock we didn't get our food until 10. Not one time did our server refresh our drinks. Some gentleman came by and said our food would be out shortly he apologize for the long wait we still waited another 10 mins and our food came out cold. we sent the food back and asked for a manager some lady came over to apologize but it didn't sound sincere. The service at Arizona was horrible. So we left. It's 10:20 now. We left went to Popeyes. Chicken was good and hot. DJ

I will have to agree with the other reviews in regards to the food, it just wasn't that good. The atmosphere and the band made it a better experience. The staff was nice and we did not have to wait to be seated, but it was a weeknight when we went. I would eat before I would go again and just enjoy drinks and the band.

I live in Buckhead however I can't think of any reason to travel to Stone Crest mall other than Arizona's. Operated by managing partner Marcus Chambers, Arizona's is the lone culinary bright spot in lithonia. Mr.Chamber has worked tirelessly to create and maintain quality atmosphere coupled with great attentive service. I have never been disappointed in any of my visits.

Okay, let's be honest... the meat here is a long way from being prime steak, so why 4 stars? I love my steak and eat at a lot of the high end steakhouses. For some reason they can never cook to the right temperature. Who knew I had to fly to Conyers, GA to get perfectly cooked medium rare steak! Bright red warm center with a pink ring and a nice seared outside! Sadly many high end steakhouse chef's can learn a lesson from the cooks at Arizona's!

Great place for lunch. Took a customer out to a different place than the normal franchise choices in the area. The food was exceptional and the service was okay. We shared the calamari - the sauce was kickass. Went for a fairly healthy option with the salad topped with fried chicken breast. The chicken was done to perfection - as you would expect in the south. The salad had eggs and avocado, both of which added something to the salad greens. This was a great balance of health and delicious! Enjoyed all the way.

The atmosphere of the place is pleasant, but the Sunday brunch was expensive, in small portions, and not very good. I ordered the French toast which came with a side of bacon. My meal consisted of two sandwich slices of bread cut in half, covered in cinnamon and sugar. With three small pieces of bacon. It was pathetic. My mom ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of grits. The grits were warm and good but the eggs were cold. She also ordered a bloody mary soon after we sat down. After three reminders she finally received her drink when both of us were completely done eating. Nonetheless, I will not be coming back.

Food is actually fairly good, if a bit pricey for what you get. Atmosphere is nice. Service is nothing remarkable, but it's good as well. The reason for the 1 star is simply this: they won't take take-out orders over the phone when they have a band playing. When I called tonight, ready to place my order, I was told they could not take my order because of this policy. Puzzled, I asked again to make sure I didn't misunderstand what I was hearing and she repeated the policy to me. I then asked if the issue was not being able to hear me over the band playing in the background and I was told that, no, she could hear me just fine - that's just their policy. Um ok. So I then ask if the band would be playing indefinitely tonight and I was told yes. So, there was no way for me to place my order over the phone and come pick it up, I was told I would have to come inside to order it and wait for it to be ready. If they're doing so well that they don't want to accomdate someone trying to simply place a take-out order over the phone, we don't need whatever they're serving. If this policy changes, I'll revise my review. Until then, I'll place my take-out orders over the phone at any one of the other 99% of places that have somehow figured out how to take orders over the phone with no issues.

I am not sure why I continuously try this place but I do and am always disappointed. It's been about a 1 year since my last visit and nothing's changed poor food preparation. Let's start with I ordered French toast please don't make that mistake. Very small portions but I digress, they were served to me Burnt! Why even bring it out for me to send back? Which I hate to do! Don't waste your time or money here...

Food was amazing I had the Lamb Ribs with the corn soufflé and creamed spinach. Our waitress was good but before we sat which was 22 minutes wait, we decided to sit at the bar. The bar wasn't very good but I did like my Champagne and my husband enjoyed a glass of Shiraz. Bar customer needs improvement I recommend training. The bar didn't ruin my time though.

I've been living on the east side for several years and I've never been to Arizona's. I don't really know why but I definitely wish I discovered this place sooner. Lets talk about BRUNCH! It was Easter Sunday and we got out of church hungry. Usually I go to brunch in the city (Urban Pl8, Marlows Tavern, Copelands etc.) but this particular time I was tasked with finding a good place to eat on the east side. I saw this place on Yelp but I didn't think they had brunch. I was so hyped when I called them and they let me know they had a brunch special. I walked in and immediately reviewed the brunch menu (photo posted). I love that they had combinations of food that I've never seen. Fish and eggs, chicken and pancakes (vs. waffles)... I'm all about trying something new so we were sold. We were seated immediately which I was shocked and excited about. I really thought we would have to wait since it was Easter Sunday. The host was friendly and professional. We sat down and shortly after our server came and greeted us. He was also friendly and professional. I believe his name is Cameron. I'd request him again. We immediately gave him the rundown of annoying customer questions (What's your favorite food on the menu, what's the most popular, how's the food, can I swap the chicken with something boneless?). He didn't miss a beat and didn't seem annoyed. Throughout our meal he was very attentive and kept us posted on the status of our food and bread. I ordered the fish and eggs. The tilapia was flavorful and delicious. The eggs weren't as flavorful as I like. I had them scrambled with cheese. I expected the cheese to give it some umph but it didn't quite work out that way. The eggs were also a little more wet than I like. I also had the side of hash browns. Those were very tasty and filling. The whole meal left me full and satisfied. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken is cooked to order so Cameron asked us to allow 20 minutes. Under promise, over deliver because it really only took about 15 minutes and I hear it was worth the wait. I wanted that meal so bad but I only eat boneless chicken and wasn't allowed to swap them out with tenders (boooooooo). The pancakes were freaking great! They looked good, smelled good and melted in my mouth (yes you know I had to sample them off his plate). I don't know about the chicken but judging by the crime scene left on my friends plate I think he really enjoyed it. Side note: I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits TO Go for my sister and she said they were really good. I really enjoyed the decor of the restaurant. It definitely had an Arizona feel (I've never been but my friend used to live there and said he felt at home). The bathroom was clean and the staff was dressed very neat and professional. When we were done, a young woman (I assume a manager) came and asked us how the food was. The staff definitely made me feel VIP while I was there. There was a table of about 15 people in the restaurant seated comfortably in the restaurant so it looks like they can accommodate large groups. Overall my experience was great. It's times like this that I wish Yelp allowed half stars because I would give this experience a 4.5. I will definitely be back for brunch and who knows, I might even try their dinner as well. Check this spot out and thank me later!

I've been to Arizonia's a few times and I've always enjoyed it. The service has always been good as well as the food. The service has been pretty fast as well. I used to like Friday nights with the live band, but it has now become very saturated. So I'll pass on that experience, but would come back for the food. The steak and salmon dishes are always pretty good.

Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food. Great pricing, Friday night and Saturday nights they have live jazz!

  • Desiree A.

Very delicious and very large portions! I got the shrimp platter with a loaded potato and macaroni and cheese. It was about $36 but well worth it. I couldn't finish even 1/3 of it. They seem to be short-staffed though. Our waiter was sweet but it took quite a while for her to come back each time. I'll be back again and again. Mm mmm.

  • Brittany M.

The restaurant itself is very nice with an upscale decor. I like this place mainly on Fridays when they have the live music. It's especially good during the summer because they'll move the live music outside and some people bring their lawn chairs and will just set up in the parking lot. It's almost become my "Cheers" so to speak. Everybody doesn't know my name, but they do know your face and are friendly. I think this place is a bit pricey though. I usually just get drinks and it's like....$12 for like a rum and coke, which is ridiculous to me. I've gone here for lunch one day and ordered some chicken tenders and fries. Presentation was very lovely, like really culinary! But it was like $17! I was like what?!?!?! I don't know if I overlooked but I don't think they were prices on the menu but I assumed since it was lunch and I'm just ordering chicken tenders and fries, it would be like $10 at the most. The food and drinks are good, don't get me wrong. But I just didn't think it was worth THAT much. So I just made a mental note stick with appetizers and come during happy hour. I still recommend you go to this place on Friday nights though. The eastside doesn't have to many upscale live music options and this place is good for that!

  • Janine W.

The wait time for our food was ridiculous. Everybody was super nice, but the fact that we dinned at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a week day, there was no reason for us to wait over 40 minutes. It just didn't make any since. The service was slow as well, though she was understanding, the pacing and timing was forever. And when we first came in, we told her we only had an hour. There were only about three other tables dining. She also never offered any bread, but brought it out to other tables. Hopefully you all have better luck

  • Cynt K.

I absolutely loved the ahi tuna salad. I was very afraid to order it but I'm glad I gave it a chance. The spinach dip and chips were tasty as well. The birthday boy loved his steak and baked potato. The server was very friendly and offered great suggestions. On a whole the experience was good but there were a couple of hiccups. The bread came after the appetizer. It was cold and hard to match the butter that appeared to have come out of the freezer. Someone ordered a burger with a little pink. It came to the table well done and dry.

This will (soon) be my favorite regular restaurant, the crispy chicken pieces w/the dipping sauces & bomb chorizo MacNcheese. Loved the ambiance, mature crowd, the live performances outside in front of the restaurant where people actually bring lawn chairs to the parking lot & chill with their cocktails in hand outside. Felt weird but, loved it! "I'LL BE BACK!" (in my Arnold Swarzalnager voice)

One of Atlanta Metro top places to eat - the Service, Atmosphere (decorum, music) and Food is excellent! Consistency is important, and Arizona's is just that. As for dishes - Fish is seasoned to perfection; Chicken Tenders are best in ATL (no exaggeration); jalapeño Grits are Awesome - Creamy; Staff is wonderful.

  • Estee A.

In town for work and my coworker wanted someplace close to eat. We asked the hotel front desk what they recommend, and Arizona's is their top recommendation. I'd say that the food is pretty good, and the service was attentive. I had the ribs with jalapeño grits and steamed veggies. The ribs were a little overdone but had good flavor. I liked that there wasn't too much sauce. I've never had grits before so I have no idea what grits are supposed to taste like, but the jalapeño grits were definitely very tasty and went well with the ribs. Will be back if I'm in the area again!

At the mall doing some shopping, and we decide to check out Arizona. Upon entering the hostess was very nice and greeted us with a warm hello. Since its blazing outside in the Georgia, we chose to sit inside, and not take advantage of the nice patio. The interior has a "Mid Western feel to it with ample amounts of wood and rock. The menu was short, but a decent variety of items. We started with the Calamari, and finished with The BBQ chicken, and Salmon with grits. The chicken was OK... Nothing to write home about. The Salmon was very good. Overall this is a nice "Mall " restaurant, to grab a drink and bite.

Nice looking restaurant, but the food was very average for the high price. In a party of 4, 3 of us ordered steak & 1 ordered a chicken dish with cream spinach. The cream spinach was very good. However none of the 3 steaks were cooked properly and the chicken was dry. It was my first visit, will probably be my last.

This wasn't my 1st at Arizona's but it was my 1st time for brunch. My good tasted great! If I had to note any downside is that I would've preferred a different batter on the fish. Again, the fish was GOOD. Just my preference. Great spot!

No acknowledgement for 10 minutes. Had to flag someone down. Steak comes out - no steak knife. Had to ask twice for it. Since my server only came around every 10 minutes, you can add up the time for our meal. She was our 2nd server who also messed up my salad - twice! Meanwhile, I see her standing around where the cooks are doing absolutely nothing but chatting. Had to ask for water twice and my soda twice, separately. The bartender (who took our drink order) returned to the bar, promptly refilled the drinks of the only 2 ppl at the bar, and proceeded to have a 5 min conversation with them, hence a repeat of our request. Drinks given with 'tude. Not sure why things came in twos, though. LOL! It was almost comical after a while. At the end of our $100+ meal, my mom gave a 20% tip, citing 'she might have kids.' I, however, would've left a dime to emphasize the abysmal service of both employees. We weren't pretentious or demanding. These servers came out the gate with attitudes. Maybe it was something in the water...

This has always been a favorite spot but on a visit tonight, it was not as great as it has been. The first mistake was the hostesses did not have the reservations. She went to the back and finally came back with a confirmation that the reservation existed. Due to the setup and size of the restaurant they can only accommodate so many large parties but apparently they had gotten behind and we had to wait because the other party either was late or the wait staff and cook could not get the food out on time. But I rather address the issue of the conditions, this restaurant has never been remodeled since its opening. The chairs are worn and the walls and decor need an update. Who approve this restaurant for the size of the men or the women's bathroom? There's not enough stalls for women and not enough for men either. I know they make a lot of money based on the amount of customers seated and waiting as well as bar sittings. The food is good but do we have to take mediocre from a business that is thriving? They are apparently not taking any loss so why won't they invest in their business? Also, their Score is an 80. What's really going on?

My first time eating at here. Really enjoyed the Arizona chicken (without bacon). Food was cooked to serve and hot. Chicken was very moist and delicious. My friend had the salmon and lamb ribs, with he really enjoyed. Only small issue was we had to ask for the bread from our server. Other than that, our server was great. Will be returning!

Food is good but every time I order food for pick up, it is NEVER ready. They always have an excuse. Today, they forgot to ask how I wanted my prime rib cooked. The waitress wrote my number down incorrectly. I challenge you to order food for pick up and I guarantee that it WON'T be ready when you arrive. The manager will have excuses too. I will have to drive to Buckhead.
