I was on my way to revisit a b.b.q. joint just down the road & out of the corner of my eye saw DS. Why, not really sure but quickly looked it up on the Yelp app and the car was turned around. Craving Cajun at times find that It has to be made at home to find the right flavors and can take several hours of shopping, making stock and preparing a dish or dishes to get it right. Upon walking in found the place empty besides two guy's sitting at a table taking photos of some serious damage to some crawfish and crabs. The girls behind the counter greeted all that walked through the doors. I took a few minutes to peruse the menu then ask a few questions. Crawfish, Crabs and Crab legs are offered already seasoned, cooked & offered by the pound. Shrimp and Crawfish Boudin were tempting then spotted the Etouffee Yesss. Two sizes are offered medium (6.99) or large (8.99). This was a nice surprise the color threw me a bit that it was blond & ordered the medium shame on me. In the beginning flavor is there, then chunks of crawfish, keep stirring and you will find rice and shrimp cut into pieces and the tingle starts. It was gone in minutes. Several po boys are available in two sizes half or whole trust me the half is like eating a regular size the whole would probably be good for two people share or one seriously hungry man. Sandwiches will come with all the fixins and fries.

Does makes delicious food end to end. The crawfish are very delicious and the corn was seasoned just right. The only negative I have for the place is that the restrooms aren't as clean as they should be. The service was great though and the crab legs were Awesome!!! I will definitely be coming back there... just hope someone does something about there restroom.

This location is directly right across from Kroger and between Pizza hut and 29 package store. The location sits in a former KFC restaurant. The set up is more f a market than restaurant having breading and various seasoning , some frozen fish and fresh shrimp forsale They have ready made steamed or broiled crabs, crab leg's ,shrimp, gumbo crabs and spicy craw-fish for sale at market price, I Know the craw-fish is 4.99 lb. Out side the ready made seafood the have fried chicken, sausages, turkey legs , turkey neck, pigs feet, chiken tenders , fish tenders ,egg rolls and gumbo for sale by the piece or pound, They offer seafood combos, My opinion they are bit expensive with there two pieces talipia and fry combo starting 10 dollars. Poboys offerd range in two sized whole and half. Pricing range from 11- 6 dollars depending on size and meat. I only had the fish and shrimp Poboys, Both were pretty good, The service is so so but very egger to offer samples on almost everything they have cooked, Limmitted seating is avalible towards the front of the establishment with tv showing espn

We literally live within walking distance from this place. I saw it when it started to build up and was kind of nervous trying out a new crawfish place. I will drive all the way down to Southern Seafood ( Lawrenceville Hwy-25-30 Mins away) for cheap/good crawfish. I've only tried the crawfish here and it was GOOD. Very spicy but a hint of sweetness to it. Different from other crawfish places where it's all spicy and nothing else. The sweetness definitely adds to the crawfish. This is probably only me and my family but we LOVE the fact that pizza hut is next door. We ordered a couple lbs of crawfish and 2 pizzas and go to town with it. The pizza just always go so well with crawfish. Can't have crawfish without it! Give them a try. =P Oh, they're also extra friendly as well. Very cheerful girls working there.

If you are from Florida, Maryland this is the best stop on GA for us. Seafood seasoned just right. Fried or boiled.

Go and go now!! Good shrimp and fried rice. The fish was OK but I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone. 4 stars bc they could improve on customer service but the food is 5 stars. Now grab your keys and get going!

Its like a tiny market and restaurant rolled into one. Doos reminds me of the fish market I grew up with in Birmingham, Ala. One of my favorite places in the area to stop and get a quick bite at. The prices are a bit high, but luckily the amazing flavor their gumbo makes up for it!! Staff is generally nice and inviting, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect of a little fish hub!

Yum! I'd have probably gone sooner if it didn't occupy the ghost shell of the world's worst KFC. Lilburn is woefully under-served for food, but Doos is a step in the right direction. I stopped in over the weekend and had the red beans, the catfish, and the gumbo. I don't think I've ever had bones in gumbo before, but once you know to expect it, I can't say I've had any better. I prefer a whole catfish, but as filets go they can't be beat. And it is with no small amount of shame that I have to admit their red beans and rice are better than my own. I'd prefer a more sit-down sort of place, but I'm not deducting for that because they are what they are and I'm only rating on what they are - and that's where I plan to get my next few meals while out and about in Lilburn as I explore the menu. Kudos! And Kudos again!

Wish there was more stars to give for this place !! The gumbo is just really good and don't know how to put into words ( OMG) It has a right amount of seasoning, right amount of meat! Give very good portions! Laid-back atmosphere, staff is welcoming and courteous! It's a reasonable price you won't go broke they also take credit cards! I would go back over and over and over again until I can't eat no more gumbo!

Decent seafood place I got the fish combo that comes with shrimp fried rice and some gumbo. gumbo was nice with shrimp fried rice. The fish had good amount of batter but it was light and crispy. no hushpuppies included in the combo though. Eating area was 4 tables that could fit 4 people. I may try something else if I come here again

The closest thing to authentic creole/ New Orleans style seafood that I have had in Georgia....and I am from Louisiana! The shrimp, crab, crawfish, and gumbo as amazing! The chicken is mediocre, but the rest is great! I'd recommend it to the world!

Yes, yes, yes!!! People of Gwinnett County, PLEASE skip Pappadeaux's. This place is better with better pricing too. I got an oyster po' boy, and hubby got the shrimp po' boy. They were delish! Sauce was spot on, and seafood was delish. My family is Cajun and I have been around the food all my life. This was pretty darn close to the food in Louisiana. It smelled like Tony's Seafood in Baton Rouge when I walked in. We also got one link of crawfish boudin (I love boudin!!!). It was very good, but size-wise a little small. Its also not very spicy, but it worked for me since I can't handle spicy food anymore, sad face!!! Anyway, found out the owners are from Louisiana, and the staff here are really nice. Plus, they have pralines at the front counter!!! Another favorite of mine. I can't wait to go back and try the gumbo and the red beans and rice. If you love Cajun food, you gotta come here.

I was craving crawfish and saw that this place has good reviews, so I suggested Doo's for lunch with the girlfriends. We all got about a pound of crawfish each (currently $4.99/pound but you're also paying for the cost of the styrofoam container they give it to you in. Details, right?). They scoop the crawfish out from under the heat lamp, weigh it, ask if the price is okay and then you pay for it (mine was ~$6). I added a bag of Zapp's potato chips and a fountain drink, so my total ended up being ~$10. Not too shabby for lunch, but another $4 for chips and a drink? Meh. Prices for the chips, drinks, desserts, and other items in the cooler were not displayed anywhere. That would have been nice. So, what about the crawfish? They were small and some of them were inedible (already dead upon cooking - I don't eat these, anyway - or still dirty). The spices were pretty good though - flavorful and it had a slow heat that crept up on you. No dipping sauce or lemon was suggested or offered. One pound of just crawfish is likely not to fill you up. We had other foodie places to go to afterwards, so we were okay. The market/restaurant was very quiet. The staff wasn't friendly nor did they appear to care that there were any customers in the store. Where's the passion, guys? The other patrons literally ate in silence and left, while we were the only ones talking and laughing. This is pretty much a straight-to-the-point, no-frills eatery, so keep that in mind. There are four booths and two tables with four chairs each available if you'd like to stay and eat there. If you come with a group larger than 4 or 5, it might be difficult to find seating. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, so all tables except one were occupied the whole time we were there. Parking is in their private lot, which wraps around the whole building. Be mindful that it appears to be one-way, based on the direction of the parking spaces, but there are no signs that indicate so.

I found my new place to get crawfish at!! This restaurant is next to a package store with little parking space. It look little on the outside but pretty roomy inside. There is about 4 booths and 2 table for people to eat in. This place offers Buffett style for lunch and dinner. Also offers cooked crawfish, crab legs, blue crabs, shrimps and uncooked filet fishes. They also offers corn and potatoes on the side (2 for 1$) for the seafoods. But for this visit I only tried the crawfish. For the crawfish, its $4.99 an lb and they were so juicy I loved it! The seasonings were also on point. It was the right spices and not too overpowering. I would deff. Come back to try the other things they are offering. Also, the butters to dip is .50cent each. And they give you free lemons. So go give this place a try!

This is currently my favorite place for Cajun style crawfish. The crawfish are fresh and delicious, not too spicy. Also must try the fried oyster. They have 4-5 small tables if you want to dine-in.

The crawfish is really good!! The sauce they have it sitting in is spicy and delicious! The meat inside was juicy and succulent, and it was all decently priced! I was a little disappointed in the shrimp. It was not as tasty, so I wish they had other sauces to dip them in besides Sriracha and Ketchup... I also wish they had some limes to squeeze over the seafood. Otherwise, the owners/workers are very nice, and they also have a great selection of fried meats/seafood!

Surprisingly good! The food. (4 star) Had a 4 piece fish basket (talapia) that came with a potato wedge and a roll. Light batter. Not much seasoning. It was "good". I mean, it's talapia. What ya gonna do? Also had the fried shrimp. I'd say the shrimp was VERY good. Staff told us it's flown in fresh daily from the gulf. It tastes like it too. A little heavy on the tempura batter. Big ole shrimp though. They should lighten up on it a bit. I pulled some off. I'll go back for the shrimp. I bet the shrimp Po boy is rockin! The place. (2 star) It's like a fish market with a few tables. It smells like a fish market too. So if that doesn't bother you, have a seat. Lots of folks lined up for take out. It's set up deli style in that you go through an point out what you want like a deli. I'll be going back for that shrimp Po boy :)

Red Beans and Rice the best I've ever had! Staff is really nice as well. The seafood is really fresh and the batter is super light and crispy. Would recommend this place to any seafood lover!

Awesome seafood (even though I am not big on seafood) - had the three fish plate with fried catfish, fried tilapia, and fried whitefish, fried rice, and an eggroll and drink for $8.99. My favorite was the catfish but the others were good too. The staff was also super friendly!

Worst seafood ever... this place is just full of spice no seasoning or taste whatsoever...... being from New Orleans trust me I know good seafood and this does not compare. I should have gone to Captain D's instead

Stopped on way home during grand opening to pick-up a menu. Left with menu and Seafood Gumbo. Gumbo was about best I have had in Atlanta. In addition to prepared food, sell fresh fish, shrimp, crab, etc. looked and smelled fresh and prices were fair. I will go back!

Cajun joint and a deli and kind of Chinese too. Call it Chinese Cajun Seafood. Whatever you call it its pretty good. Gumbo is outstanding and fried fish is really good. That's all I've tried. Give this place a shot, it new and its good. Going to put Popeyes and Capn Ds across the street out of business.

Good add to a neighborhood with not a lot of options. Mostly fast food on hwy 29, Doo's is a nice addition, has a nice little spice about it.

Fast service. Good food. I had a half oyster/half catfish poboy and a pineapple Bigshot soda. Not made with French bread. They use the same soft rolls most places use in Atlanta though. They have much more stuff than what is listed on the printed/online menu. I would go again.
