I've heard good things about this place and that it is a neighborhood favorite. Although I have never sat down to eat here, I have had food catered TWICE from Eagle's Landing Cafe. The caterer, Judy was very professional and knows exactly what I needed. The food portions were always plentiful, delicious and delivered timely by the friendly staff. The price is reasonable and the quality you get is exceptional. One day, I will stop by for the famous Sunday breakfast buffet.

Love this place! I usually go on the weekends. The breakfast buffet on Sunday is great. The all you can eat shrimp on Saturday night (i believe?) is pretty good also. It's worth a try if you're craving some comfort food.

I eat here on average about three times per month. Almost always for breakfast and usually on Saturday or Sunday mornings. I generally do not order the buffet, although it's very good, fresh, and the price is reasonable. I simply don't want to "over eat", so I stick to the menu. They offer Grilleades (sausage gravy); I order it every time and pour it over my grits. Yum! You simply can't get that at any other Gwinnett County restaurant I'm aware of... We like to bring out of town guests here because it is such a nice change from all the other corporate chain restaurants in town. Everyone we have taken seemed to enjoy the experience. I've been a fan for a few years, and I plan to continue to eat at Eagle's Landing often.

They have delicious brunch. That's all I can comment about because it's all i've had.

As an out of towner I had some time to kill and arrived in time to grab their breakfast. Nearly everything was very unique and delicious! Had the two egg breakfast with cajun hashbrowns (sour cream, chives, and cheese), and their own HOMEMADE sausage (which had a nice bite to it, AND a pancake made from scratch that had a hint of cinnamon. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in this area. Service was fast and personable.

Ok, so we tried the "all you can eat" fish the other friday night. And I haven't been impressed yet with either the food or the service. But, we now know that when a side is offered with the "all you can eat" special, and even when it is noted that - and this is in print on the menu - any and all sides are included, that it really means there is an extra charge for some of the sides (which no one mentioned until I asked about it). So a heads up cajun seafood fans, a 14.00 "all you can eat" meal can end up costing WAY more than what is advertised.

The staff is nice and the place has that local mom and pop feel. The breakfast is good but I'm not really a fan of buffets.

I've been here for brunch twice and have enjoyed the experience each time. The omelets are fantastic and I love the pancakes. This is a nice family owned establishment with friendly service and good food. The prices are very reasonable and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Nice local place to eat. Wife had the Thursday Cajun buffet and I had a sandwich with a side of Cajun mashed taters. All was very good...will try something more daring next time. Will be back for sure.

Good brunch buffet for $15. All you can eat bacon!!! Good spice on the hash browns and shrimp & grits.

This breakfast helped cure our hangover, and then we went home and took a nap. I called to see how late they served breakfast since it was already after 10, breakfast ends at 2. We went in, were seated and ordered our drinks. The sodas and water are in big coca cola cups and I wondered if they came with the place when it was pizza hut. The coffee cups are random unmatching mugs, making it eclectic I suppose. We ordered our food after our drinks arrived and we were talking the whole time and I forgot to look at the menu, so I quickly glanced and ordered the crab eggs benedict with cajun hash browns. They have a weekend brunch buffet which my friend chose since it was all you can eat and he let me nibble some of his bacon. The price on the buffet was the same price as a regular entree, which is why he decided on that so he could try everything out since there was a good number of options. The pancakes are made to order but are included in the buffet price. They were delicious because they had cinnamon and nutmeg in the batter, I've never seen that before. The sausages from the buffet weren't very fresh but the other stuff was good. My crab benedict was yummy but I found a few tiny pieces of crab shells in it and had to spit them out, no biggie. Friends loved their choices, chicken biscuit and a flat wrap which is a quesadilla. Prices averaged to around $13 each with tip. I wanted to try the desserts from the case but I didn't have room for any of it. Maybe for dinner sometime. Our service was great and our server ASKED us how we were splitting the bill and I really appreciated that since it's rare that people ask these days.

I'm gonna be honest: I wasn't really a fan. I got the shrimp po'boy. The bread looked beautiful but was sort of soft. I prefer crispier bread on my po' boys. The remoulade tasted like it was 85% horseradish (sick) and the beignets were doughy. The bites without sugar tasted like it was still uncooked. The sweet potato fries rocked though. Interior was bland and loud as hell.

Large variety of both New Orleans and American food, including beignets, Muffuletta, PoBoys, fish, shrimp, sandwiches, chicken, and steaks. My wife had the philly cheese steak wrap which was very big and full of cheese and meat. I had the grilled catfish which was moist and spiced just right. Every night they have a different all you can eat special. The waitress was very nice and patient, i would highly recommend it.

Randall & Judy Eagleson (the owners) have done a marvelous job with this place. I used to go for breakfast every day but due to a move to the other side of town I rarely get there for breakfast. However, they are outstanding with their lunch/ dinner menu. They are both from the New Orleans area and it comes through in the cooking. Spicy, tasty and excellent. I like the eclectic feel of the place, the servers are friendly and helpful. Will go back there many more times. Excellent place.

Very disappointing...especially knowing it's a family run restaurant and Gwinnett needs fewer chains and more owner-ops. No one smiled, fruit cup was melon and grapes (in mid summer?!), beniets were doughy and we paid $30 with tip. Hope they turn it around...

I think this building actually used to be a pizza hut? And is now a cute little place with murals painted on the walls and moderately friendly staff. But the food is really good. I went for breakfast and actually forgot to even look at the lunch/dinner menu. They have a lot of cajun themed items, including beignets which were yummy. And cajun hash browns that have cream cheese in them. Cream cheese in the hashbrowns. I had a biscuit and egg sandwich, and the biscuit had a great homemade taste and feel to it. The sausage was great too. My fellow diners had eggs and cheese grits, and a smoked salmon omelette. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced.

Read the reviews and checked it out. Friendly people and chicken and sausage gumbo that was top notch. I'd definitely come back.

Full disclosure, I worked here for 3 years. That said, I've also eaten everything on the menu several times. They have amazing bread pudding. Their brunch is awesome - French toast, eggs Benedict, salmon/crab omelet - yum. I love spicy foods and this place definitely satiates that need for me. The red beans and rice are great, but they're very spicy. The chicken and sausage gumbo was my favorite order, also very spicy. If you want a poboy- go with either the roast beef or the crab cake. You won't be disappointed.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Stopped in on a whim and was unimpressed by the interior. The ladies that took care of us where awesome and made us feel super comfortable. There was nothing on the menu that particularly stuck out to me and I was prepared for mediocre food. I ordered the salmon plate and my guest ordered the shrimp plate. When our food arrived it was great! The shrimp and salmon were both cooked and seasoned perfectly! And out mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and the veggies were great too. We will certainly be back!

I had an amazing shrimp poboy!!!! I am an authentic Cajun girl and it is the best I've had in Georgia. The French bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The batter on the shrimp was perfect and the portion was quite generous. I can't wait to go back and try something else!!!

If this place were closer to my home I would easily help keep them in business. Not that they need my piddly little dollars to stay in business, because they are always busy. It's that good. Nothing fancy about this family owned neighborhood restaurant. Just really good food with really good service in a really comfortable setting. I've never had the chance to try their brunch (one day) but the "all you can eat" skrimps on Saturday night is my favorite. I usually get a plate full of all 3 kinds; grilled, fried, and cajun. Then I get a second plate ..and whatever I can't finish they let me bring home. Which is outstanding for an "all you can eat" affair. Here are their nightly specials, check it out for yourself: eagleslandingcafegrill.c… You complete me Eagle's Landing. Love, A.J.

2 stars is being nice :/. I don't think I'll ever eat here again. I came on a Sunday around 11am for breakfast. The reviews seemed great. But when I got there I was surprised to see food all over the floor. Literally it was like playing don't step on the crack or you're break your mothers back. Lol. Flys were everywhere too. When my coffee was brought to me the waitress sat my spoon down on the dirty table. Me and my 2 year old got the buffet. The eggs tasted weird! The gravy was the worst ive ever tasted. I don't know how u can get gravy to taste like that. Disgusting! The sausage wasn't cooked all the way in the middle. The potatoes seemed old and heavily seasoned. So I basically ate bacon and a biscuit with jelly. My daughter ate fruit. Sorry but this place really sucked. I was so confused how it was so busy.

This place has been a neighborhood favorite for a couple of years now. I've been here a couple of times in my pre-Yelp days but going back here reminded me of how awesome it is. Last time I had Po Boys and this was before I had a real po boy in NOLA. However, their po boy does a great job! I was told that I haven't had a real good po boy until I go to NOLA, but now that I've been there I can say Eagle's Landing has a good one also. The breakfast buffet is awesome! You can have pancakes and French toast with your buffet also. You just have to tell them what you want. We also got mimosas which were great. My favorite part of the buffet is their biscuits. Biscuits are my carb-unfriendly-weakness, but so good. I wasn't a fan of their gravy, but my cousin and I just added some salt and hot sauce and it was good to go. Also a little warning, their sausages are spicy :) which was fine for me but I know some people can't handle that. Bacon was crisp. I liked their regular eggs better than their eggs with vegetables mixed. And service was great even though they were really busy.

The hubby and I tried this place b/c he passes by here on the way to work. He got the all u can eat catfish (with a two dollar up charge since it wasn't catfish day). I got the all u can eat shrimp with dirty rice, onion rings, and grilled veggies. The portion sizes were huge. My complaint was that the shrimp weren't deveined and the food could have used more flavor. The hubby enjoyed his food and the burgers they were serving looked fantastic. We will go back and try other things but not the shrimp. I'm just picky like that. Also, the waitresses were the nicest I've had in a while.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! This is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had... That's still an understatement. The restaurant itself was dirty. The tablecloths were dirty. There were flys everywhere. I even had a dead fly in my Mac and cheese. The shrimp wasn't cleaned at all. Half the food was bland and the other half was over-seasoned. I ordered practically everything on the menu. The service was terrible. Our waitress, I think was also the manger was incredibly rude, had a bad attitude, and gave me the dirtiest look as I ordered the food. She also walked passed our table several times and ignored us when we asked for service. When I said I was displeased with the food, having barely touched it. She had no concern whatsoever. I will not be coming back to say the least.

Fried food if it is properly done is NOT greasy. This is one of the very few restaurants that seems to actually know this. They fry food perfectly. It's not over or under cooked, it's moist and above all else...IT"S NOT GREASY! Once you have tried any of their fried foods, you will be a fried food snob. No one does it better. This place isn't fancy, it's just a little neighborhood eatery. If you feel like coming in for a good, hot meal at a decent price then this is a good bet. Simple, clean, and good.

Coastal Myrtle Beach feel in middle-America. I can see this place being a hit with people who really don't value quality over quantity. As far as the eye could see, nothing buy fried seafood items with a variety of sauces and sides with little-to-no flavor aside from the breading, which is sad. The location is in an old Pizza Hut, which from the get-go has a lower brow feel to it, and the decor is a bit dated. That doesn't really affect the food quality, but the overall feel is just average. This place could do so much more business if not for it's location and decor. The coastal or creole feel doesn't express itself well in this place, and it would add to a basic meal. Food portions are large, but that doesn't do much to hide the mediocre quality of ingredients at this price-point. For the money, you should expect a little brighter flavors or even just a little spice. My dinner date really doesn't know any better, and even she commented on the lack of flavor for most everything we ordered. Not really sure I'd return.

We would defiantly return. Came for breakfast and enjoyed everything very much. Breakfast buffet is a great deal. The pancakes are amazing. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. Only improvement is I would to see is in the coffee. We drink coffee black so are slightly picky. Non the less we will return.

I have been to this place several times for lunch and have enjoyed each meal. The portions are huge and I have taken leftovers home each time. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. However, the decor needs help. It is dated. The booths are uncomfortable and upon entering it looks awkward.

We really enjoyed brunch here today. The food was great, except for the grits. They were too loose, like soup. I prefer them thick. I really like their hash browns. I had the brunch buffet with french toast and my bf had an omelet that he chose the items for it with grits & pancakes. The staff was very friendly. Many of the patrons appeared to be regulars by the convos the staff had with them. I will eat here again.

I've been a steady customer for many years but this establishment has gone downhill. The servers do a fine job but the kitchen is not getting it done, the food is now inconsistent. My eating habits are so what narrow so I tend to order the same thing over & over. As a result it's easy to see how inconsistent the food has become. In the last couple of months it's just become a mess. I'll be taking a break from there & maybe give it a try again in 6 months.

Came in for dinner. I ordered the jumbalaya. It was OK. My kids ordered ribs (huge portion served - was good) and a chicken sandwich (_not bad). I notice that they have a buffet specialfor dinner service (tuesday night is Italian). Pricing seems reasonable. Another reviewer mentions the pizza hut vibe....I felt it. Decor was a bit of a downer. Seems like it may be a good bet for breakfast.

Had breakfast this morning with the bf, his cousin and his wife. When we arrived, there weren't many people there yet (it was 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning... yeah...) so we were quickly seated. I peeped the breakfast buffet and after scanning the menu, I realized that it must have been the less than $10 weekend brunch offering. We all got up to check out what was available and decided that we would go for the buffet. I got cajun scrambled eggs (with andouille sausage, I think), one half of an Eggs Benedict (with half the English muffin and one poached egg), a little bit of cubed home fries, a bit of shredded potatoes with cheese, 2 bacon strips, and the melon/pineapple fruit salad. I saw that there were biscuits with sausage gravy, as well as grits with a tomato gravy, sausage, and regular scrambled eggs. Once we all made our way back to the table, our pancakes/french toast were delivered. With the first plate that we piled up and the previously-mentioned carb fest, we did not go back for seconds. My french toast was pretty good but I wish that I had gotten a pancake like bf did. His pancake was fluffy and just plain tasty. The one thing that I was slightly disappointed about was the temperature of the food from the buffet. Could have been a few degrees warmer. Don't get me wrong, nothing was cold nor even lukewarm. But I like my food to be a tad hotter. Service was as expected at a local mom-and-pop's, friendly and not all-in-your-face. Keep in mind that you are in Lawrenceville, so you will hear accents that may not be so dominant in Atlanta. The interior is nothing beautiful (and as a matter of fact, the booth seats could use some duct tape) but the price is right. Bf did not love the coffee, but since he had only slept about 5 hours the night before, he drank it down with sugar and half-and-half. We finished before 10 a.m. and it's now 7 p.m. and we are just starting to feel pangs of hunger.

Been there a few times during Sunday brunch. The breakfast buffet is yummy and the sausage breakfast wrap is delicious!! I like the cozy, family-owned feeling the place has, but the wait staff does leave much to be desired. The food's good though and the price is great.

Great neighborhood "mom and pop" Cajun themed restaurant. The owners Randall and Judy are great supporters of the community (they're always at the Taste of Brookwood event) and they have a big local following. They get pretty crowded during peak times which is a testament to their customer loyalty. Everything I've had has been great, the Shrimp Po Boy is excellent as is the Shrimp Flat Wrap. Sausage Chicken Gumbo is one of my favorites, but not for the faint of heart - it's very spicy (peppery). Shrimp Etouffee is very authentic and tasty. They also serve a great breakfast spread. I like their Crab Cakes but they are a little pricey, and the remolaude can be overpowering. I suggest getting it on the side if you have them. Good burgers and sandwiches. Sides are great, string onion rings and garlic mashed are among our favorites. Overall this is a nice, casual place for home-style, authentic (not eclectic or specialized) Cajun fare in a family friendly, neighborhood setting.
