The cooking oil needs to be changed at least twice a month and the deep fryer needs to be drained and filtered daily....This has a lot to do with flavor and the color of the chicken...Trust me!! Try the Church's off Jimmy Carter or Hwy 78 in Stone Mountain Ga..

This is a quick fix for hunger for me. I used to be a Popeye's fan until Church's started doing spicy chicken. Their chicken is more spicy but I do also miss having the read beans and rice also. If you're a fan of spicy you will love it, If not stick to Popeye's.

This location just needs to close down. I've been here 4 times in about a 50 day period and each visit was horrible. Visit 1: I arrived 15 minutes before closing and wanted to order the chicken livers. I was told that they already shut down the fryers. I left empty handed. Visit 2: I pulled up to the drive through and after 10 minutes of silence was told to pull forward. There were two cars in front of me and it was another 10 minutes before I got to the window. I wanted to order chicken livers and I was told that they "just sold the last batch" to the person in front of me and that a truck would make a delivery the next day. So... instead of telling me this at the loud speaker, they made me waste 20 minutes to say they ran out. Visit 3: The very next day, I attempted to call to see if they had livers but it was just a weird buzzing tone. I decided to just go and I once again pulled up the loud speaker and after 10 minutes of silence was told to go to the window. (Again, why? Nothing is wrong with the loud speaker) Once at the window, I again wanted chicken livers and was told by the same woman as the previous day that they "just sold the last batch" to the customer in front of me. I told her that's what she told me yesterday. She then changed her story and said they did have them but they were frozen and she would have to cook them and it would take 10 minutes. (Hmm... I know. The sign says all livers are COOKED TO ORDER.) I told her it was fine and she made them. Visit 4: Today I went and decided to go inside since they have horrible service at the drive through. I requested the new chicken tenders and waffles and was promptly told they had no waffles. I then stated I would get the chicken livers and was told that they ran out but a truck would make a delivery tomorrow. I promptly turned around and left. It was my mistake even coming here a 3rd time because it's obvious this location has nothing to eat but chicken and biscuits. It's a shame since it's the closest Church's to me but I will definitely not come back. It's pathetic how they don't have food (or claim not to have it so they don't have to cook it). IN SUMMARY: - This location does not take orders through the speaker even though it works. - The drive through is at least a 10 minute wait. - They don't have anything but chicken and biscuits. Everything else was apparently "just sold to the person that just left" or they just don't want to cook it. Just close already.

The food is always fresh and hot. The only drawback I have noticed with this location is how extremely slow the service is at the drive thru. I have visited this location 15+ times in the last few months and at different times of the day and always experience long wait times at the drive thru. The delays are annoying but the food is worth it. They have the best chicken strips in my honest opinion.

Every Tuesday: 2 piece leg and thigh $.99. Every Thursday: 3 piece legs and thigh $1.99. The owner is a bit ornery, but the food comes out fresh. I'm glad to see that the health food score improved to a 94.
