Great quick lunch. If your looking for a lot of food or deep fried fattening food go someplace else. Some of the other reviews on here are a joke.

I enjoyed several meals from McAllister's during my time in Atlanta. Their salads and sandwiches are satisfactory. I would liken them to Panera in portion size and quality. The way the food was packed was hit or miss. I had a great club sandwich but it was smeared in so much mayo and mustard I could barely pick it up. The cookie that accompanied my meal was also smushed but so soft and tasty, I managed to get past it. I don't know if I would go out of my way to eat her but it certainly works for a casual lunchtime meal that isn't deep fried awfulness.

I work extremely close to McAlisters and we order from here about once a week! Everyone in the office raves about the super filling baked potatoes and ALL of the sandwiches!

3.5 stars McAlisters Club with potato salad on the side. The sandwich was good but a bit dry, maybe because I asked for no honey mustard. The potato salad was great and the watermelon lemonade was amazing. Will definitely go back.

If I didn't love McAlister's chili so much, I would never step foot back in this place. Every recent experience that I've had here has been awful. Wrong orders, slow service, terrible. On my most recent trip, they had run out of one of their primary menu items before lunch rush even started. And what made it worse, apparently the people taking orders were not informed so they were still taking orders for that item. On more than one occasion, my food has been left in the window so long that it was cold by the time I received it. The communication between employees needs to improve dramatically. Or maybe they just need new management.

Great sandwiches! We come here often! Their ice tea is the best. And their French dip is one of the best around. Add to that the friendliness and courtesy of the staff.

The 1 star is definitely for the service. Anyhow, I came here to waste time and grab some lunch while my tire was being worked on next door, I should have heeded the yelp reviews but there was nothing much else in walking distance unfortunately. I got the roast beef and cheddar sandwich, which also came with onions and horseradish sauce on panini pressed bread. There was obviously some confusion with the order because the sandwich I ordered was a cold sandwich, or so I thought. Disgusting, the sandwich was so salty and the onions tasted like those soup mixes, the paninni was soggy, and just overall bad. *must remember to stop before getting my tire done and get lunch somewhere else next time*

Yet another review from me with a mixed rating...food vs staff. I used to love the Mcalisters in Biloxi MS before Katrina. I also used to enjoy this location in Kennesaw...altho it was never as good as the MS location. Unfortunately, like all too many franchise restaurants, once they got established, they allowed the quality to go downhill. It is a shame. I will give this one 4-5 stars for being consistently clean and having great staff. They are always friendly, efficient, and helpful. I also give them a consistent 5 for their sweet tea and lemon WEDGE. Also the fact that you can get half a sandwich or half a potato...I dont eat much at one sitting and like having the option of ordering a smaller portion. I love restaurants that will allow me to order half a meal or a children's meal. However, the soup and sandwiches are not what they used to be...altho still a decent quantity for the money, I guess. The chicken tortilla soup, instead of being thick because it has been cooked long and slow, is now kinda gelatinous...toooo thick and clumpy and gluey. Vegetables are indistinguishable and tiny, tasteless pieces of chicken. Very spicy, though, which I like. Served with three (seriously???) tortilla chips. Also got a sour cream and butter baked potato. Potato was very starchy/mealy/crumbly (which usually means old) and the sour topping was not creamy...but a little bit grainy. They did earn points for giving you REAL butter though...a HUGE deal in my book. All in all...filling, but disappointing. I wish I had more independent places to try near my office instead of chains and franchises!!

I think their Club Sandwich is as good as it gets, especially with extra honey mustard on the side. My favorite side is the potato salad, it is awesome, and the Sweet Tea is very good. I have had trouble at this location in the past with service, not today, great, great service, it was early, but hey, No better Club Sandwich anywhere!

I've always eaten McAlisters Deli back home in Wichita. I was happy to find that there is one here as well. There isn't much difference from the Kansas location to this one. I ordered the same sandwich I always got back home and it turned out to taste exactly the same. Its a good deli for the price, I love the sandwiches and the mac and cheese. Their Sweet Tea is a must try!!

The employees were very nice and polite. The sandwiches were great. They were exactly what I ordered with no mistakes. The wait was not long either but I suggest you order ahead of time online if you can. However, they are a little pricey. $16 for two sandwiches is a bit much

I've been a fan of McAlister's Deli for years dating back to my times up in Knoxvegas. When you wanted a great sandwich or a soup and sandwich/potato combo you went to McAlister's. Done. We were up in Kennesaw doing a little car shopping and took a break for a quick bite. Hadn't been to this location before and got excited and talked it up to my girlfriend. I think this was an experience where I got a little too caught up walking down memory lane that I psyched myself out of a good meal. It just wasn't what I remembered it being. I got a club sandwich. Not the McAlister's, but another one of the clubs they offer. Yes, there are multiple. It was decent... just left me wanting something more. My girlfriend enjoyed her giant potato, soup and the MASSIVE tea they gave her. We left whelmed. McAlister's is just another sandwich shop to me now... Sad.

McAlister's Deli was one of my favorite spots to eat in Auburn so I was pretty excited to be in the area of the Kennesaw location yesterday... that excitement did not last long Two sandwich's chips and drinks were almost $20 (come to find out later it looks like I was overcharged on the chips) but that still doesn't justify the little amount of actual meat on the sandwich. I've seen more meat at a subway. The server said he forgot our au jus and he would be right back... then I proceeded to watch him do absolutely nothing for the next 20 minutes we were there (I had to get up and get my own au jus). To be fair everyone else was friendly and seemed to be working hard. Even with decent service from most it is impossible to rate a place well for serving sub par sandwich's for as much as they are charging. They are better and cheaper at many places around town.

They must have a manager that trains the staff on how to treat customers well because every single employee, old and new, *always* is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. Savannah Chopped Salad is one of my favorites. Price is good, and I particularly like the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad. Update Jan 2013: Staff is not as friendly as they used to be. The food and service are not as good as they used to be either. Dropped from 4 to 3 stars. Turnover here is extremely high, you hardly ever see the same person working there.
