Chips are good, nice and hearty. Salsa is okay. Service is kinda slow. I love the sopa de pollo there too - I notice another reviewer mentioned it and it really is delicious. I wish they offered it in different sizes though because the bowl is sometimes a bit too much for me. I've tasted several other things from there and it's typical mid-GA Mexican restaurant fare. Good but not amazing or inventive.

Ate here while visiting family. We did have a large party with kids. We kept the order as simple as possible. This was the worse food and service I have had in a long time. We were served in shifts(3 to be exact). A 6 yr old and 4 yr old were left without food until the end of the meal. I was feeding them off my plate. We did not get drink refills until the end. The food was pure salt. This complained to the manager and nothing was done. I can't remember when I have ever done this at a restaurant, but this was the exception. The food was luke-warm, but this barely noticeable due to the overwhelming salt taste. Don't waste your money or time one this.

Bad: Service was very slow. I ordered the fajita burrito. It was a large, rather blah, portion. The "guacamole" was just mashed up avocado. No tomatoes, no onions, no cilantro, or any other seasoning whatsoever. Nothing about my meal stood out. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the local area (I've reviewed one). Good: beer & a patio

Good food but today was the worst service ever. Will be hard to come here again after the long ass wait at the bar

Food tastes canned, no flavor. Asked for a bean and cheese tostada, came with so much queso it was soggy. Beans had no seasoning. It was their idea of a chaloupa. Soup had chicken in it that was canned. It was oily. Tamal was small, no flavor, ground beef sprinkled on it was not flavored, not needed. Server was on cell phone. Not a place I'll visit again.

This restaurant used to be top notch. As they've gotten busier, their service has went down. When I ordered a dish and got something that I didn't order, I told the waiter. His immediate response was that they brought me what I ordered and he started arguing. I was adamant that I did not order it with beef and he finally corrected it after raising his voice. Also, don't expect any substitutions for free like most Mexican restaurants. Asked to substitute for beans in place of chicken and they charged. However, the cooks are great and the food is good.

This place used to be really good. Unfortunately, I think the management of the company has changed. The food tastes old. The places smells weird. The daytime steam of migrant workers are even skipping this place now. Sad. Oh I just noticed they have a U on their food safety inspection as well. Bronco here I come.

I moved from Ft Worth Tx and this is the closest I've come to real Tx Mex! Love it! Wish I was in town for more than a day. Fast service and very friendly. If you like Hot hot sauce just ask its amazing!

Went here for lunch on a recent trip to Georgia with a group. Service was quick and prices are great, but the food, while good for what it is, is not the best Mexican in town. I'd still go for a quick inexpensive sit down meal. I wasn't a fan of how frequently the waiters referred to everyone as sweetheart...

I've eaten at the old Russel location 5 years ago, which was good for what it was and several times at the new Russel location and it was decent for a Speedy Gonzales type lunch. I usually go out of my my way to order special at Mexican joints here in Warner Robins as everything is the same. Ground beef, "white" cheese, uninspiring sauce and ground beef. Did I mention ground beef? I guess that is what people in Georgia call Mexican but at least offer something special besides Gringo fajitas. Anyway, I decided to see what a #26 was about. Enchilada, buriito (same thing as best I could tell) and a Chile Relleno (NOT). All three were infused with ground beef and not much else as far as I could tell. The Chile Relleno appeared to be a slice of bell pepper dropped on top of ground beef (WRONG) and steeped in white goo. What's the deal with cheddar or at least yellow cheese around here? It does not exist. Possibly the thing they called nacho cheese that several dishes show as an ingredient but I was afraid to explore that one. Every time I hear nacho cheese I think of the viscous yellow stuff you squeeze out of the pump thingy at the gas station. I won't belabor this as it is obvious to me that my years in Tucson and traveling the West/South-West have ruined me for East coast Mexican. The place is popular as it is always busy and I cannot complain about the service. I just can't get past the 30 plus menu items that are all the same and all contain ground beef by default. I don't remember having beans at all, nor rice, in my order. Weird

Staff is super friendly, great service, great food and the patio usually isn't crowded so we love to sit out there away from the crowd. Best Mexican food in town.

So slow. 45 minutes for food. 30 minutes without a return visit from the server once drinks were brought. Had to get our own silverware.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
