Well here is my experience, or lack there of. I arrived at 8:15 on a Friday night, and my wife was on her way to meet me there. I was really excited because my neighbor said that we needed to try it. I sit down and they tell me that they are out of dough! What! Yea, they have only enough dough to make a calizone. Which leads me to wonder... do they not make their pizza dough fresh? Was this poor management by the chef? Plus they just said sorry, we were about to close early, and that was it... no coupon or discount to encourage me to come back. I love to support local businesses in my home town, but lack of service/food, inconsistent hours is not what this town needs. I would like to have a restaurant to stay in this suite and succeed, but this is not a good start.

After moving from Decatur I was missing my local "within a mile" pizza joint. Until City Square Pizza opened up that is!! The dough, sauce, toppings and cheeses are super fresh and We just love the flavor they all bring together to make a great pizza. I usually go with a pepperoni and it's always cooked perfectly. The garlic knots are really good, super soft with just the right amount of garlic, oil & spices. The slightly sweet marinara sauce makes for the perfect pairing. I would recommend City Square Pizza to anyone looking for a great local pizzeria in the Hoschton area.

Ordered take out tonight. Dough seemed very old and had large bubbles all over the pizza. I bet it would have been very good if the dough had been fresh and little to no bubbles occurred. Their sauce and cheese were good. They just need to do better on their dough. I'll give them another try in the hopes that they were just having an off night. I really want them to make it, but they need to be consistent. And they really need to offer more on the menu. Not very many choices at all. Hopefully I can update this review with a more positive one.

They have stepped up in the consistency department. We come frequently because their specials are budget friendly. If they had a few more things on the menu I'd give them 5 stars. But the lack of sweet tea and menu options call for 4 stars. The pizza is excellent though.
