The food was great! They said that delivery would take about 45 minutes - which is a little longer then I would like, but arrived in approximately 30. We will be using them more often!

I purchased a meal tonight from the Wok-N-Roll Inc. on 466 West General Screven Street, Hinesville GA 31313. There were pieces of metal and chicken bones in the food. I returned the food just after they closed the restaurant. They did refund my money, but showed no signs of regret or even said we are sorry for the inconvenience. The egg rolls taste like peanut butter, and the broccoli chicken tastes like old fish. I'm not impressed.

Compared to other Chinese restaurants in Hinesville this one is good. It is located right outside the main gate to Fort Stewart which makes it convenient for my family. The inside is rather dirty and they could use a new floor, booths and tables, and some new paint. The kitchen does seem clean as you can see into it from the ordering station. Because the booths seem dirty we always get our food to go. We like the burbon chicken with pork fried rice. There is enough for two meals in each container it seems and I like how they send your takeout food home in plastic containers instead of styrofoam. It makes taking the meal to work and reheating much easier.

I read the full reviews after. I ordered pepper chicken. The chicken was sort of crunchy and dry. It had a coating on it that was sweet and crunchy. A different recipe for sure. It seemed like it was heated all day and then a sweet sauce poured on it. Rice was good.

Horrible, absolutely horrible delivery times. Expect 1.5-2 hour delivery. Plus a horrible excuse. Not too mention they very often mistake your order. After calling to discuss the manager treats you like a criminal, and acts as if you are attempting to rob them. Now I can get that. But seriously, every not occasionally, every single time they messed my order up, over charged, or took 2+ hours. Calling and trying to discuss this only ends up in dealing with a very incompetent manager, who doesn't care, and hangs up if you corner them. Never...Never....Never buy from here. Worst oriental food, worst service, not to mention worst management. My food came half cooked, sushi tastes like chemical, and seriously the people are just so rude and crazy to customers.****Just received a call asking to improve my rating and change my review for free food.......nope.

Love this place. Only Chinese place I will order from. Usually get delivery and they are quick. Went in to dine in yesterday, the young lady was cleaning and scrubbing, as soon as I opened the door she greeted me, took my order, told me to sit anywhere and helped out a lot. The staff are so courteous and helpful. Thank you Wok n roll, keep up the good work.

Compared to the other Chinese restaurants here in Hinesville, this place is great! It's cheap, they're quick, and they deliver. The food isn't overly greasy like at Peking Gourmet (which is second best here), and the staff is always really friendly. It's also right outside the main gate.

I ordered for delivery from them a few weeks ago. Their pamphlet states delivery is only possible if the minimum order is over $10. When I ordered, my total came to $16+. I then tipped the driver $5. I called again today 2/3/2015 and tried to order roughly $15+ worth of food and was told that the minimum charge is now $20 for my area and that the other lady was wrong. I asked the lady where does it state that on the website or the pamphlet. She responded "that's how we always do it". I disagreed and then we parted ways. Not using them for delivery anymore unfortunately.

Cheap is about the only good thing I can say about this place. The cashier was grumpy, and acted like taking my order was the hardest thing she ever had to do. I ordered General Tso's chicken, but I'm pretty sure I got Sesame, honestly it wasn't worth having to deal with her again to make a fuss about it. My order looked old and dry while my buddies looked fresh. I will not be a repeat customer here.

The staff courtesy was mediocre with the exception of what seemed to be the owner. The rest of the staff appeared to be delivery personnel with tattoos of people robbing gas stations on their necks. The food, although limited in variety was deep fried, greasy, but standard issue for Hinesville-style Asian cuisine.

Food was okay. Not special but the most disappointing part of this is delivery! Took an 1hr and 45min to get my food. Then they didn't deliver everything and when I called about it they said the would send some one out to deliver it and nobody showed up. Worst service ever. Never will eat here again...

i am very unhappy. i ordered chicken and broccoli (i dont eat red meat) and i received beef and broccoli. i call to inquire as to why i received this order. the employee tells me that in order to fix this i would have to come in to the restaurant. HELLO! i ordered delivery meaning i dont want to drive. i ask to talk to supervisor and the employee says tsk... whatever and hands the phone to the supervisor and of course i had to let him hear my i dont think so voice, because all i receive is attitude from the employee and the supervisor. NOT OK. i will not be going to this restaurant again, and definitely will warn others to not go to this place at all.

The staff greeted me warmly when I entered and was asked right away if I wanted to dine in or take out. Then I got to pick wherever I wanted to sit and to go ahead and help myself. This was all very nice to hear right as I entered. Overall the food was good, the service was on it and my in and out time was completely affected by how fast I made the visit. This made me happy to see that Chinese buffets although not all glammed out with aesthetics can still be a top notch establishment. Good job Wok N Roll!!!

Have eaten here a few times. Food is what is to be expected for chinese buffet. I do not eat here anymore myself, unsure of there cleanliness. Also the beef they used in their orange beef was pink and fatty I see why they cover it with the tasty orange sauce so you cant see it

Food is what you'd expect of southern Chinese. Staff is usually friendly, and as a plus they deliver!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
