I've been going to Cracker Barrel all of my life. It's almost always been a good experience. I've been to this particular restaurant several times and the food quality is usually always the same. Nothing to complain about! The service can be hit or miss at times, but is overall pretty good.

Breakfast joints are few and far here in ol Augusta. This is pretty much the standard joint for me and my family. I've been here about 10 times now and the standard of service is usually consistent. They don't have a dedicated gluten free menu and depending on who the server is, I'm usually met with a blank stare but for us that are intolerant to gluten you can never go wrong with bacon and eggs. I appreciate the generous serving of everything and when I used to be able to eat pancakes they were fluffy and moist! The server was courteous and our food was brought out in a timely manner. There was a mix up but everything was corrected without fuss. I like my bacon CRISPY and that too is hit or miss but overall everything was tasty as usual.

service was good but we had to send our food back. Wife ordered Ribeye, it was tough, poor quality. I ordered the new pot roast dinner, it was so tiny I would have been done in three bites. Looked much bigger in the menu picture. We were sad to leave, we love Cracker Barrel, but we aren't paying that much money for poor quality and small portions. This location is not up to Cracker Barrel standards.

No stars. Not one. Yelp forces you to pick at least one to post a review- please think of it as zero. Made a reservation 24 hours in advance and called to check on it THREE times, as solid as solid could be. Reservations for 20 people, we arrived 20 minutes early... AND THEY SAT OUR TABLE with a walk-in birthday party. The staff was ZERO percent accommodating, the space they managed for our RESERVATION broke pur party into half a dozen little groups. I will never, ever set foot in this Cracker Barrel again AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. Absolute BS, completely uncalled for.

OOOOOOLLLLD Faithful. You been to one, you been to 'em all. And that is what we love about the Cracker Barrel. Been to them all across the country and love that it is always consistent and always the same. Went in and had the Sunday Chicken special. Chicken was tasty and not too dry. Service was fantastic. Love me some Cracker Barrel when in an unknown part of the country.

Went here on 2/5/2014 - The 4 stars are for today's experience. I've had bad experiences with service and definitely didn't like the food in past. Today was exceptional for what I ordered. Ambience B Old timey store feel and very open and bright space. Yes. You can see the menu here! The host was good to clean sweep (the busser missed it) the floor before we sat down. Service A - the server Girl was very attentive and helped decide what to order as the menu is extensive! Once we ordered several people brought out the order. The girl did check back periodically and filled our drinks promptly. Ask for a to go cup if you have left over drinks - she had no problem making them! I had the fried catfish with fried okra and chicken and dumplings. Food was actually tasty and good today. My parents had the breakfast. To me, it was just breakfast items, but they seemed to enjoy their meal as they ate every bite.

Went here for breakfast and to hang out with about 30 people from a Veterans organization I am part of. The staff was excellent and the food was great. The only down side was the manager. We wanted to thank everyone and recognize some members of our group and were approached and told to stop. We weren't bothering any other diners or hindering the business at all. You would think that a manager of a store in a town right outside of a military post would welcome this type of gathering by a Veterans organization. Needless to say I will be taking my business to the other Cracker Barrel in town from now on.

Out of Meatloaf and it's your Tuesday Special-Seriously!!! My favorite item on the Cracker Barrel menu is their meatloaf and today I was very disappointed to find out that I would have to wait 30 minutes to get any. I ended up selecting chicken and dumplings, which was okay but I'm still sad because I don't get to eat out very often and when I do I like to be able to get the food I was craving. Our server was nice, prompt and polite. The restaurant seemed a little untidy but that could have been from the thousands of people eating meatloaf before I arrived and lost out. Well maybe next time Cracker Barrel if I give you another chance someday. The raspberry sweet tea was excellent!

There is an accumulation of gross dust on the ceiling. What a gross place to eat, knowing that, at any time, a dust bunny could jump down to join me at lunch. Dirty, dirty.

We pulled into the parking lot about 5 minutes before closing time one night, hoping to get a hot soup to go. I was sure that the staff was going to roll their eyes at our last minute request, but they were very accomadating; even offering us a seat. The manager said if you make it through the door, you are welcome to sit as long as you want. I was impressed with their friendliness.

Love a place I can eat biscuits and gravy and shop before and after! This place has super tasty food and great service. The gravy is freshly made and topped over yummy biscuits. The eggs were perfectly done and the hashbrown casserole is heart clogging heaven.

BLUF: Repeat customers, perfect Sunday brunch or breakfast. Food: This Cracker Barrel is clean, the service is quick and the food is very good. The husband ordered a double meat with the hashed brown casserole and biscuits and gravy, I ordered the old timer breakfast. Both were served to us hot, quick, and our drinks were never empty. I tried the apple butter this time with my biscuit and really enjoyed it, I highly recommend that! Suggestions: The silverware was not the cleanest, I rubbed mine down quickly using my napkin and very quickly saw there was what looked like a soap build up. My knife went from dull to shiny, which I would much rather prefer. Service was very fast, we got our food in less than 10 minutes! Our waitress was Marie, she was very sweet and made sure our drinks were never empty. At the time there was about 25 patrons in the restaurant at 9am in the morning. Love this place.

When in the South you are told to eat at three places: Steak N Shake, Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. Not for their great cuisine per-se, but the food served, experience combined with a cheap price. I waltzed in, placed my name on the short 10-minute wait and browsed the large storefront. There were lots of great gifts, books and do-dads to be seen. In no-time my name was called and I was ready for brunch. Looking back, dinner is probably what they are known for. I ordered the fantastic Momma's French Toast Breakfast ($7.69) and was surprised by the amount of flavor. The four slices of our Sourdough French Toast came with two eggs, and smoked sausage patties. The eggs were the biggest let-down as "sunny-side up" must mean half cooked gelatin to the guy in the back. The eggs were pretty gross and almost made me regret even going but the french toast superman saved the meal. My sister ordered a side of pancakes for a few bucks and was offered a side. We asked to substitute for some pineapple and were charged $2.39 extra which almost doubled the price, what a joke! The pancakes were delicious though. My wife picked up the Chicken biscuits ($5.99) which was pretty good but didn't include anything else which was a bit deceiving from the description/photo combo. My wife ordered what she thought was chicken biscuits with a side of sausage but was delivered sausage biscuits. It took 30 minutes to correct order and we finished our food before wife's food showed up. This visit was just another spot in a series of poor service and food mix-ups that I have never had before in the previous 26 years. I am a bit weary of customer service and am still looking for the "Southern hospitality".

I love cracker barrel because depending on what you order, you can get a huge breakfast for a great price. this one is just like any other cracker barrel you find throughout the country.

It's pretty much identical to all the of the Cracker Barrels. The food is hit or miss. Some days it is Excellent, some days awful. The staff seems to be too small to handle the Rush times. If you get there when it opens, or time it right on a weekday when they have hardly any customers, it is much better. If they are packed, you will wait forever for your food, and for drink refills, etc.. The Acoustics of the dining area are horrible. The roof focuses all the noise back into the dining area. I have left here with a headache from the noise. What is bad, all of them are built the same. I Know this, cause a relative of mine built many of them. I Try to go on Sunday, right when they open.

Very friendly staff! My breakfast was great. It is a traditional Barrel with the same menu and atmosphere, but they have a good cook and very helpful and polite waitresses.

I have given this establishment three times to redeem me but it's food is flavorless gelatin. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is friendly but the last time I came to eat and I left hungry and $30 less in my pocket. I ordered the chicken and dumplings which turned out to be cool lumpy gravy with colorless chicken swimming alongside soggy flavorless biscuits. It looked as well as it tasted-horrible. My husband cannot eat pork and asked for no pork on his salad and his potatoes but it was cloaked in a layer of pork on both. He asked for a new plate which took 20 minutes and by that time he was ready to go. If you come here to eat make sure you bring some sandwiches from home.

You can't go wrong with a Cracker Barrel. Especially while road-trippin'. Especially this one. Our one-star server took such good care of us, I walked out of this restaurant with a positive outlook on life. She'll have four stars in no time. It seems clear that this very diverse staff really works well together, and their efforts show. Everyone was friendly and attentive. And the food is the same, good Cracker Barrel fare you'd expect. If you see me there, please do say HI!

Decent food at decent prices. They usually have lunch or dinner specials that is at or below 10 dollars. You get two side dishes with the purchase of an entree. The sweet potato casserole is bland but everything else is pretty good. The hash brown casserole was very tasty. My favorite dish is the meatloaf and baked chicken. During the Christmas and holiday season they have the best Cinnamon french toast. Can't wait to have that meal again. Overall the place has good comfort food at good prices. Service is always prompt and friendly.

Great weekend breakfast. I love going here with friends and family. Its much like the other chains across the country, but the staff is very courteous and punctual. If you like country cooking, you cannot go wrong with cracker barrel.
