I guess I should first mention how busy this place is. I visited this location for the first time (Tuesday evening around 6 PM), and boy oh boy was it packed. I think I must have been in line for 10 minutes or so. The wait time is not an exaggeration since it seemed like everyone in Gainesville seemed to packed there (high school students, families, even EMTs). The service level was decent for the degree of business and flow of customers. The food was decent as well. I'd say similar to other Moe locations. Compared to other places selling burritos (i.e. Chipotle), the price is average to slightly cheaper. I like how Moe has a variety of burrito sizes to choose from fitting for your price range. Their meats are organic and free of hormones (something like that--healthier). I guess the extra little perk is the free chips.

I really wanted to like this place but I just can't. Maybe I will try a different location. I've been there 4 or five times and tonight was my last- I just don't like the way the staff interacts with customers. I am NOT picky in this regard, especially when it comes to fast food establishments- I don't need/want/expect anyone to kiss my you-know-what but there is a fine line between indifferent and rude. Tonight was the last night because the woman who rang me up was beyond the normal "whatever" attitude and edging rapidly into rude. Life is too short to invite negativity! I will try the one in Cumming and hope for better management!

Went for a quick lunch with the hubs...staff looked like a bunch of stoners with unbrushed teeth and greasy hair...just gross! If they didn't wear fresh gloves, I would have walked out. Got food...was just ok...I've had better tasting Moe's at other locations. Went back to the counter to get a container for the rest of my food and the staff were nowhere to be found. Standing there, I noticed a terrible stench coming from the kitchen...smelled like the trash bin out back. Maybe the back door was open and they were smoking a joint?! Yuck!! Won't go back. If you work there and are reading this, please do us all a favor and practice good hygiene...and lay off the weed too!

Good food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff! Check out Moe's Mondays for a good deal on the burritos.

I've eaten at this Moe's before but never wrote a review. I checked out this Moe's on a Monday for their $5.99 Deal - Any burrito, chips & a drink. This is only available on Mondays. I only got the Jr. Art Vandalay (of Vandalay Industries) but still got the $5.99 deal. The Jr. Burrito was just the right size, the regular is just too much burrito. I was very happy (and surprised!) that Tofu is an option instead of meat, or chicken. Which made me xtra happy - and it was actually marinated and seasoned and tasted really good. The staff were really nice & the place was clean. Welcome to Moe's!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
