YUMMY!! We were visiting from Florida and my mother-in-law suggested we get pizza from Little Italy....We ordered the pizza with everything and the chicken & spinach pizza. The chicken & spinach pizza was suggested by the guy who answered the phone and we were not disappointed. Wonderful pizza and great service! Will definitely go back when we are in town!

This is by far the very best calzone anywhere near Gainesville. The pizza is also great. Everything is always fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend.

Just moved to the Gainesville area and Little Italy was our first local pizzeria my family tried. Ordered 2 large pizzas. The first was the Pizza Bianca with meatballs. The white pizza was not bad just right on the amount of garlic. I'm use to having the ricotta cheese in strips on top of the pizza, but over all OK. The other pizza was a large half cheese and sausage. The sauce was very acidic and the the pizza was greasy. The meat balls on the white pizza and on the cheese/sausage were the the same. So I do not know if I received the meat balls or sausage on both pizza's. One thing I noticed that was weird that there were a lot of people eating salads at that Italian restaurant. I will NOT be go back to Little Italy! I'm active duty Military and only support restaurants that support the Military by offering some sort of discount.

Soooooo we went here to nom nom on some good pizza. We've been to the Athens location and had a real craving for some good pizza. This location dishes out pizza similar to the Athens location---ooey gooey cheesy pizza, loaded with toppings, and crispy yet soft crust. 4 stars for pretty good pizza---could have been a little more cooked in the center as it was a little too "wet," not sure how else to describe it. Still really good, foldable pizza! Downside? The salad quality is absolutely nothing like the Athens location. For almost $6 a pop, it was a measly salad that barely filled the container. NOT a fan. 1 star. Main point, come for the pizza; steer clear from the salad. To go orders are probably the most legit here.

Best pizza in Gainesville. Very committed to the NY style of big thin pies. Their salads are size able and even when we bring a group of baseball or scouts, the service is good (if they have some notice).

A co-worker introduced me to this place, and it is both a good and bad thing. Good because the pizza was awesomesauce, bad because now I know it exists & it is not too far from work. Had the two slice combo & each piece is probably enough be fairly full. The Pizza crust is oh so good - can't wait to try other menu items.

Obsessed with their pizza. It's the closest thing I can get to the sorta pizza I became obsessed with eating in Philly. Thin crust, amazing meatballs and a perfect sauce. Oh. And guess what? Friendly people work here. Definitely a friendly family sorta spot. No frills too I might add. It feels like it hasn't been updated in decades, but not in a grimy gross way- it's just like a cool retro blast from the past vibe in there. It's nice that they have a patio as well...perfect place to enjoy the super, yeah, that's SUPER cheap pitchers. Not a pizza fan? Don't worry...get a sub and your tummy will be equally pleased. They use a great bread, it's perfectly toasted and the portions are generous! I like the cheesesteak or the meatball...with extra sauce. They deliver with a fifty dollar order and it's always prompt. Total fan. This is my absolute fave pizza place in Gainesville. Wish they were open Sundays though.

This is my go to for pizza in Gainesville. The staff is nice and the food is great. My favorite is the vegetarian sub. Talk about cheesy and veggie goodness. The pizza pie, calzones, and Stromboli are also great. Pro: Good food Good service Decent value for the price Con: Slow orders when busy (They do cook it fresh which accounts for some of the wait) Limited indoor siting (The tables are a squeezed in so take a minute to say hi to your neighbor) A little heavy on the olive oil

Ordered two lunch "pasta specials". Salad was awesome. Bread was a small slice hoagie roll soaked with 3 tablespoons of yellow grease and dried oregano. The entrees (chick parm/eggplant parm) seemed like they were food service frozen and fried. Funniest thing, the "pasta specials" do not come with any pasta, even though they are labeled as "pasta specials" At $7 for their special, microwaved lean cuisine might be a better option.

Best place for a group with even the pickiest of eaters! We needed a place for about 30 folks and the owner was very accommodating. He was very laid back and offered to "reserve" a portion of the heated patio for us. The parents were delighted with the selection of better beers to accompany the delicious pizzas. The rowers enjoyed the ability to mingle in the relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back here for the next regatta...thank you!

Originally from the Boston area and this is the closest pizza we can find that invokes that homey feeling. Their Stromboli is delicious!

Little Italy is my favorite pizza EVER, and I've tried a lot of pizza. We've been loyal customers for years... I think we personally funded the new improvements to their building with all the $$$ we spent on pizza there ;) I don't even need to comment on the price, atmosphere, or service because none of it matters when the pizza is this good. I haven't been in 4 months since we moved to California but I have major withdrawals. It's the best in Hall County, right ahead of Atlas in G'ville and Fini's in Flowery Branch. If only they'd get rid of that ugly Georgia Bulldog decor.. ick!!! Go Gators! ;)

The pizza is a little overpriced in my opinion, as are the calzones for their size. I go for the hot subs. Order any of their sandwiches, and you won't be disappointed. Excellent taste and more than adequate portion size. The seating inside the restaurant is pretty crampex, but the seating outside is great.
