Food is great. Wait staff is very disorganized never bring set ups till asked. No spoons with coffee. 6 times for breakfast same issues. But great food and clean racing place to eat

I like the atmosphere and the people. Food was okay but I may need a return visit on a different day to give a more accurate review. My food was a little bland but that is just my one time visit.

Gave a second chance or maybe third...not impressed. We came for breakfast this time and I guess they were too busy getting ready for lunch and it took over 20 minutes after ordering for our food. My 3 egg omelet was cold, flat as a pancake and no way made with 3 eggs. Food brought out with missing side of biscuits, when we asked about it they offered an excuse and toast? So when we were almost done, out came toast. The preserves were good, but the home fries were not crisp, very mushy and all I could taste was green pepper? They seem like nice people, just not really sure how to treat customers and a little aloof? Maybe we should of waited for lunch? Overall it us just OK, you can get a better cheaper breakfast at Waffle House!

Had another exceptional lunch at Fork in the Road!!!! Fresh field peas were so yummy today with fresh chow chow! My fried chicken was super crispy yet moist inside. The broccoli casserole tasted like Grandma had just pulled it from the oven. Clarence and Momma loved their stewed Okra and Tomatoes. The fresh preserves and homemade biscuits were our desserts but the pies and cakes looked phenomenal! I so often miss my Grands and Fork in the Road deserves a award for delicious home cooked comfort food! Don't miss this breakfast and lunch star of Fayette County- new hours are 8AM - 3PM!

First time in since move from PTC. Dinner was disappointing. Food was cold and not much to choose from. Was much better in PTC! Will try lunch when I can. Hate giving a 2 but I must this time.

A great dining time at their brand new location with only 4 previous open days under their belt. I do not have experience with the previous locale 'at the old house' as my friends had described, but they characterized that the condition detracted from the food. I'll have to take his word for that, but to this location, I can certainly vouch that the layout & the warm simplicity are great. Having spent much of my life here in Georgia, I knew I would be in for a treat by the way the food was described. I was not disappointed in the least. It is awesome. For context, this visit to the Fork in the Road was on their Saturday night seafood buffet. Thankfully, they had more than catfish... Instead of you serving yourself, you direct the attendant what you would like and she places it on the plate. I kind of like that. The selections aren't picked over, strewn about or otherwise exposed to patrons. Only when you've made your selections, she/he hands the plate to you. I only wish the plates were bigger for all the stuff that looked (and tasted) so good. Among the selections tonight were: Fried catfish, broiled catfish, Fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, Fried bay scallops (the little ones), BBQ chicken quarters, BBQ pulled pork, Oyster Stew, Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Cole Slaw (two varieties), Collards, Green beans, Breaded okra, corn bread and biscuits (served with their own strawberry/raspberry sauce to drizzle on the biscuits). Also, for $5 more you could add the snow crab and the fried oysters. I skipped the crab and oyster add-on and kept to the main events. First off, the fried shrimp were delicious. Plump, juicy and in a unique, light batter. Similar were the scallops: Just enough batter without it tasting too 'bready'. I'm not a big catfish fan, but I did try the fried version. It was actually pretty good (tartar sauce is really good). Big hit for me was the pulled pork. It is fantastic. I could come here just for that. And thankfully is on the menu all the time. Paired with the one variety of the coleslaws I couldn't get enough of (with jalapeno), my taste buds were feeling good. That coleslaw with the jalapenos shredded is absolutely delicious. It's really not spicy, but has just a little edge to it that tastes great alongside everything else. Try the different varieties of BBQ sauce (sent to your table). By now the plate was getting full, but I had room for the breaded okra (perfection) and the biscuits that the server was bragging on that she knew I would love. Well, I loved all of it actually. The oyster stew was very good. Very rich tasting, so I just kept to the small bowl. A few drops of cayenne pepper sauce was splendid. Dessert is not included in the buffet, but who could have room for that?

Okay found this restaurant by accident and glad that I did. They are one of the few that is still serving thick smoked bacon. The breakfast is truly country which is a good thing considering I am from Alabama where good food is a must. This restaurant is highly recommended!
