Sushi was a little small and slightly tasteless here. Probably because I've had better but this just wasn't worth the price for the quality. The little Korean lady was really nice though. It wasn't busy when we came in during a late afternoon for an early dinner on a weekend. The rolls came in 6-8 pieces and came out quite quick. But they were just baby bite sized. I'm not sure if that's how they make sushi here in Georgia, but still wasn't worth $10 per roll. Otherwise decent service. Parking is ample up front and there's a lot of space. Very calming and dim ambiance. But sorry, we would not come here again.

This place is my super secret lunch spot that I come to when I miss sushi and/or Korean food. The husband and wife came from L.A. years ago for family and run the business together. He's the kitchen and she's the waitress/sushi chef. I have some mad respect for a woman who can cut fish 'cause I know learning to make rice and cut fish is so much harder than you'd think. You'll get greeted at the door with a friendly shout, "where have you been? Where's your sister? Sit down and eat!" Gosh, it's like I'm at church again and I'm getting henpecked by all the moms. The dining is small, unpretentious and you may spy a hula hoop in the corner. There are tons of customers photos and you'll notice it's mostly children. The owners are crazy about kids and just showers them with praise and attention. There are cups of crayons, coloring books and children's books to keep your kids occupied so that's a plus. The menu has a good mix of your classic sushi fare like spicy tuna, spider rolls, rainbow rolls etc. with their own creations added in. I've had honest to goodness food poisoning at another sushi place that caused the worst night of my year so sushi really does make me cringe but my sister convinced me to try it and I'm so grateful she did. The color and smell of the fish is always right and yes, they get it frozen from a wholesaler in Atlanta but the cuts are generous and I never have to ask myself if I'm going to be at the ER that night. What really brings me in is the Korean food. I enjoy getting the bento boxes for lunch. A little kalbi (short rib BBQ)or bulbogi (sliced rib eye BBQ) or champong (spicy seafood noodle soup) makes me incredibly happy since it's made so well here. The portions are generous and the variety of seafood in my soup is impressive. I'm such a picky eater when it comes to champong! I've sent back bad ones at the restaurant of a family friend because I am just that picky. Ask for it spicy and eat it on a cold day! If you're not sure what to eat, be sure to ask for some recommendations from the nice lady 'cause she stands by what she serves. If they had delivery, I'd have them on speed dial!

Best sushi in the CSRA, hands down. I have yet to have a roll that I haven't loved. My favorite are the red dragon roll and spicy tuna roll, just superb in flavor and quality of ingredients. The fried rice dishes are excellent also if you don't like sushi, which come with either chicken, beef or shrimp.

My fave place if I'm in the mood for just sushi, not a full meal. The fried red snapped roll is wonderful! Love that they give you a free bowl of soup. Try the pickled radishes - my most favorite! Never too busy so nice date place that is still a little quiet. Had bulging ben to box twice and was grwat but a little pricey so we just stick with sushi here. $4 for most of the rolls I love. Owners so sweet.

This is the best sushi place in Evans and Augusta. Great sushi, service and atmosphere! We live in Augusta but make the drive a few times a month because it's that good. I recommend the spicy, crunch tuna roll and the dragon roll. This beats Matsu Sige, which is no longer open. Definitively the best Sushi in Augusta/Evans. Matsu Sige was 2nd best when it was open.

Although they advertise as a sushi restaurant, it is run by a Korean family and they have a small Korean menu. I used to live in Korea so I love authentic Korean food. I wish they had a larger menu for that, but their sushi is amazing as well. My husband says their teriyaki chicken is amazing and last time we were there we were told their sauces are homemade, no MSG. Yum!

Family run and quaint, Osaka is a quiet, hidden gem in Evans. Their sushi is wonderful, service is friendly and atmosphere is comfortable. They also have marvelous traditional Korean food.

This is what you call a hidden gem. A sushi joint that is very comfortable. The husband and wife that own a run the restaurant are so nice. Ive had lunch here two days in a row and chicken bento both times ...delish! Yesterday was a good number of customers but today im the only one here...which is a shame. I know there is other Japanese food close but this place is worth a stop.

Went here for lunch. It has many lunch specials. Ran by husband & wife owners, at least during Friday's lunch. Nice folks. Some Korean dishes, but sushi was the best part. Reasonable priced, good portions, and I like the atmosphere. Must have lots of repeat customers, she asked if it was our 1st time. She said she remembers her customers from the last 1-2 years. Try it out. It's in the Evans Wal-Mart shopping center. We will be back.

This restaurant is one of my favorites! The sushi is good, the staff is extremely courteous and go out of their way to serve you. It's a nice, local place and the owners remember their regular customers. Much better than another local restaurant that also serves "Takos"....

I love this place - very reasonable pricing. You can get a 3 roll dinner combo for about $12 and the run a buy one get one 1/2 off beer/wine special on the weekends. Lunch combo is also a bargain. Most of the servers are real nice though there is one I would fire if I owned the place.

Will not eat here again. Overpriced food and horrible service!

Sushi was pretty decent. Not as good as sushi you may get in, say, Seattle or Manhattan--but it's good for Augusta. They had expensive rolls and inexpensive rolls.. so there was no need to empty your pocket if you didn't want to. Decor was an improvement from some of the bland Thai places i've seen in town. Definitely will do in most circumstances. But if you want to impress a date... you may want to try and go bigger than this place.

This is the best sushi restaurant in Augusta. The food is always fresh and the staff is extremely courteous. I highly recommend the tempura and the sashimi.

this place is actually better than other japanese restaurants nearby... i do agree with Cabbage J. about the fact that you won't be able to get a Sushi as good as you will in Seattle or Manhattan....but yet it's one of the best in town i believe

Heard a lot about it, not impressed. Not that great of sushi, had much better and had much better at a more reasonable price for that matter.

this place is really good. i wouldn't call it the best sushi place in augusta, but i would say it is one of the cheapest in cost. it's a very small place that is well decorated and appears to be family run. they give you this free amazing spicy cucumber salad after you order and i can't figure out what's in it... i'd go there now just for that (i hope they still do that)

The non sushi menu was limited but AWESOME! Memories of Daegu from the smell and flavors. Check out the menu for what you like and stick with it. Bonus: very kid friendly.
