We popped in there before hitting the new farmers market next door. The server was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Gyro based on a good review I saw on yelp on my phone before we walked in there. Indeed it was delicious! For the side I had the small salad and it's a great mix of baby greens. My sister had a chicken sandwich with side salad and really enjoyed her meal too. The atmosphere is very traditional pub and they have plenty of traditional Irish pub grub if that's what you are in the mood for. I'd certainly go back if I'm in the area again!

Great weekday, early afternoon bartender. She's consistent and pleasant. Wonderful place to relax and have a couple.

Ok, I'm partial to this place because it's stumbling distance to my front door. In the age of the KILLER DUI having a local joint nearby is a must if you want to imbibe. Adequate bar food; reasonably priced swill; tolerable ambiance - if you're in the 30350 area code, this place can work for you.

Fish and chips is forgettable. Lacking anything special. Tartar sauce is just boring. Atmosphere is good and service were great. Will come back to try something else.

Outstanding! We sat at the bar & bartender was friendly and personable - and the food was surprisingly good. Wings were well-done yet juicy and spot-on spice. Salad was fresh, chips w/vinegar were crisp (not soggy as they sometimes are) and the creme brûlée (yes, creme brûlée in a tavern!) was wonderfully fresh and warm.

Walking distance to a pub is a good thing for this neighborhood. Hopefully it is well supported and it seems like its off to a decent start. Friendly staff. Solid pub menu and bar. Good pub decor. There's some seating outside that's covered and arranged nicely and probably will be pleasant when its not over 90 out. Its open for lunch now and it seems like its attracting a good crowd at dinner. Food service was fairly quick. Their own chips made fresh accompanied my fish tacos for lunch. And I found money walking home from the place so that's obviously a good sign. Will have to visit at night for a pint.

Waiter was inattentive. Food was horrible. We've been here quite a few times & had a good meal & good service. Not tonight! We get home & within an hour, I'm sick with food poisoning. French onion soup tasted like it a cup of salt with beef broth poured over it. Salad was brown & wilted with warm dressing. We will NOT be back & will be filing a complaint with the health department.

From what I can remember, I had a gay old time here. It may have helped that giant mugs of Blue Moon were on special for five bucks. And that the bartender was whipping up White Gummy Bears. I *do* remember not being overly impressed by the food...skewers and dips and various other sundries.

Stopped by for Labor Day Lunch. Excellent authentic gyro which is very hard to find in Atlanta. Smoked salmon spinach salad was perfectly composed and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Good selection of beer on tap. Having returned many times over the past year, wanted to update my review. The menu has been updated. My husband and I like the new menu even more. Their home fries are great!

My wife and I went to O'Brian's for dinner on a Thursday evening. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive and the menu offered a nice selection. We both ordered fish tacos (blackened) with the side salad. My wife asked for light seasoning and I asked for regular seasoning. When the meals were served I believe that the waitress switched our plates - my fish was mild whereas my wife's was very spicy. My salad w/ dressing had an odd, tinny taste that was not especially appetizing. The fish tacos were quite good although the portion size was very small (2 small tacos) for $10. I felt like I had eaten an appetizer and was still hungry after downing the tiny tacos. It may be that some of the other menu items would be appropriate dinner fare but I was certainly not overwhelmed by this visit. My wife says that she'd give O'Brians another try - we'll see. I'm not a huge fan of restaurants that serve skimpy portions, although, the food was tasty.

First time experience was very good. Came by on a Sunday at 12:30. Only a few patrons. Was immediately greeted and seated. Ordered a Shandy which is a traditional British beer/lemonade drink but they did not have any lemonade. Had something different on tap and it was very good. Had the Irish spring rolls which were great. I had the gyro which was great. My son had the grilled cheese which was extremely unique. Very unusual presentation. He loved it!

The "CHEF" Can't even cook a HAMBURGER ! Since the manager named Moses left; this place has gone down hill. For the second week in a row I asked for a medium Hamburger ( specifying red inside) an received a burger way over done burnt on the outside and dry well done on the inside. INEDIBLE ! wonderful opportunity for those who like loud obnoxious know it all clients and acidic heartburn food.

"Great local pub. Great service a good menu selection. Everyone at our table of four enjoyed their food selections. Gyro, meatloaf, fish tacos and fish and chips. Noise level so you can talk with your friends is a great plus."

So I have been coming to this tavern for a few months now, I must say the last time I came to dine (which was about 2 days ago) was probably my best experience ever at this location. The food was really great, the service was quick and attentive, and I had everything I needed when I needed it. Also not to mention the general manager on duty (I think his name was Chris) was a total beefcake, like totally hott, so that's a plus. Definitely a great place to visit. ;-)

Great neighborhood place! Food is really good and portions are large. Perhaps a little pricey.... for example, I ordered a couple of glasses of wine from the "featured" wine card on the table, which usually means you are getting a pretty good wine for a reasonable price. When we got the bill, I was surprised that the wine was higher priced than many other by-the-glass pours on the menu. Guess we'll stick to beer. If you go, definitely try the Irish spring rolls and the Irish crisps (Irish nachos)!!! Yummy!!

Fun place and interesting crowd. Great bar service, cold beer, and the lobster and Brie sandwich is super. Wish they were open for lunch.
