If you didn't know this place was there you'd never see it. Its hidden deep in the entrance of one of the older and larger subdivisions of Douglasville called Arbor Station. A long long time ago this Golden Buddha was a chinese buffet but some time ago they remodeled into what they are now, a sit down chinese resturant and hibachi style Japanese resturant and sushi bar. The Japanese is good, not great but always good. The service is good and the staff friendly. The chef's can be a little loud and might scare small children or jumpy adults, you never know. The Chinese is pretty standard. The egg rolls are great, the soups aren't too salty. The menu is a bit larger than most of your other chinese resturants so there is probably something for everyone. The thing that gives this place 4-stars is the suchi bar. The chef is excellent and the fish always tastes really fresh. I don't really care for rolls but theirs are good. The Sashmi is thicker than most which i like. They also make some mean veggie tempura.

Don't let the outside fool you - this place is amazing. The Chinese food is the best I have ever had, causing me to go back time and time again. I've never had something like Sesame Chicken where the outside is fluffy and crunch and the inside has picture perfect white meat chicken. Fresh, well prepared, great service.

Probably one of the worst experiences ever. Stopped by to try it out, since I had never been. Never will go again. Besides the prices being outrageously high, the service you get is terrible. Didn't find anything I wanted since the menus make absolutely no sense, and was told by the waitress that i could order a bowl of teriyaki, then a new waiter came by and told me I could not, and then they treated me like I didn't exist. They refilled everyones drinks 3 times, and didn't even bother with mine. And just watched me the entire time. All for wanting teriyaki? Rather have spent my money at Panda Express than this.

I have never had such poor service and quality of food at one place. We were ignored for nearly an hour on one visit. Another visit found us being served day old sushi. The head waiter once even complained that I hadn't left a tip on my credit card slip after being served the wrong food and drinks and being mostly ignored. Will never go back

Love this place!! Such delicious food and always willing to make special orders!! Lots of food for not much money--makes great leftovers!!! Plus, where else can you get Chinese cuisine, Japanese steakhouse and sushi?

Had dinner here last night, SO GOOD! We had the hibachi and the sushi.. Best food we've had in a long time. Staff was also nice and we didn't want for anything! I highly recommend this place :-)

Been craving sushi for awhile now and this place is the place to be. There selection is great and is made fresh. Adding new rolls on occasion mixes things up. The rice is a perfect compliment with the sushi and the staff is friendly. Compared to other place this place is above average and is a must try for anyone looking for Asian cuisine.

I'm not really a big fan of their Chinese, but the hibachi and sushi are good. Mostly I've had sushi, which is always fresh and well prepared. The staff is the best part though. They are always very kind to my young daughter. The last time we were in, William talked with her, gave her rainbow sherbet (no charge) and even gave her a wooden horse on our way out!

I most definitely love love this place. I used to go here years ago and just recently came back, and very much enjoyed my visit. Although the place hasn't upgraded their furniture and nothing has changed since my last visit here a few years ago,the food is just as good as I remembered it. One part of this joint is Chinese and another part is Japanese, but I usually end up going to the Chinese part. Their portions are big so I suggest either splitting dinner or get ready for some take home food. We recently had the Chicken Curry, and I usually don't like the yellow curry kind, but this dish was good. We had the Wanton soup as well, and it is definitely not the dark Wanton soup we usually get in regular Chinese restaurants. This soup is more of the home made kind and not like any other, so if you're not too adventurous with your soup, then don't order this. The service was attentive but not invasive or annoying like some of the waiters that tries too hard. The menu is nothing too fancy, but the price is right. It's a bit off the road and people may not realize it's there.... I really wish they do :)

This place is not good. The chinese is food was bland beyond belief. We had to add salt to everything. Maybe the hibachi grill or the sushi part of this restaurant is better. But I got the feeling they are just trying to do to much. Our waiter was very nice, but the service was so slow. We were getting ready to walk out after waiting over 5 minutes with no one acknowledging us when someone finally came and sat us. The waiter was very prompt in taking our order, so I don't think the delay in service was him. I think the kitchen was just very slow.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Fried rice is super. I've been going there for about 10 years. Love it.

I came here with a mind for some sushi, and this place did not disappoint. I was slightly confused by the whole half-Chinese/half-Japanese deal they have going on in their setup, but either way, I love both types of cuisine so I figured we couldn't go wrong! My bf and I came here on a weeknight and sat at the sushi bar. There wasn't much happening in the place and by the time we were done, only one other couple had some to the sushi bar to eat as well (other than that, we couldn't see the main dining area...which was fine, it was so quiet and relaxing!). The sushi we ordered was fantastic! There was some fried specialty roll we got that was amazing. There wasn't anything we weren't pleased with. I added a couple Chinese apps off the menu to round out the meal (which were not as good). I will say it was a little expensive but I wouldn't go so far as to call it overpriced. There are, thankfully, so many sushi options in the Atlanta area that I may or may not return back here -- I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend it if you're looking for something different in Douglasville.

This place is awesome. Went with my fiancee tonight and we got some sushi and Chinese food. Everything was yummy and freshly cooked. I also like they had korean in the menu because of the owners, next time I'll def. try some!!

I wanted to try this restaurant ever since I moved to Douglasville 11 years ago. I finally made the decision to go the evening of 2/15/13. I could tell by the parking lot that it was busy, which I thought was a good sign. Me and my friend went in and immediately a lady asked us if we wanted Chinese or Japanese. I said Japanese/Hibatchi grill. I noticed that the lady walked so fast and went around this corner so quickly that once we got around the corner we seen that she began to help someone else and did not show us to the table. We stood there a moment and then a guy hostess pointed out the area where we were to sit. I thought it was odd that the people who were already sitted were switching out chairs and saying that the chair wasn't safe. The guy hostess became angry that she switched the chair and began placing it back. I took notice and began to pull out a different chair. He immediately reprimanded me and said "No, you need to sit here" pointing to the unsafe chair. I told him that I didn't want to sit there and he said that I had to because other people were coming. I said well let them sit there because I don't want to sit there. So, instead of going back and forth with him, my friend asked for the manager. He rushed off to get the manager and we followed him. I began to speak with the manager and he would not listen to what I had to say. He said that he would seat us. I was trying to tell him that this would have been my first time at his restaurant and that I was extremely disappointed. He told me that he had other customers to see and we left and will definitely never return.

Possibly the best Chinese I've ever had! Don't be put off by the empty parking lot or the interesting interior, this place is awesome. The portions were enough for two and it was very cheap!

This place is a little tucked away, but so good. My family and I have been eating here for years. The Chinese food is good. The Japanese food is good. And since the owners are Korean, there's even a few wonderful Korean dishes on the menu. I almost always get the Jom bom, which is a Korean spicy seafood noodle dish. My absolute favorite! The service is great and the staff is always friendly.
