While it's doesn't mean much, this is the best pizza in town, but when you're comparing yourself to Pizza Hut, Hungry Howie's, Papa John's and Dominos that an impossible feat to accomplish. Still, few can complain about the pizza here. And, if you're in Douglasville, this should be your go-to pizza joint, whether ordering out or dining in. Otherwise, there's not much to say about this place. You'll get slightly better than average pizza at an affordable price and that's that. It's a simple pizza place.

Come here often and enjoy their pizza. They never mess up my usual pizza order & I love their classic salad with oil & vinegar dressing and cheese sticks with marinara. Wanted to try something different (and had a yelp reward) so I ordered the garlic knots for the first time & am not impressed. They were kinda hard to chew (almost like stale bread) and we're really small. Will probably never order these again & stick to the cheese sticks.

Good pizza and service. I've been there about a dozen times, crowded and not, and never had a bad experience. When it's packed you might wait a little longer, especially for drinks, but every server I've had has been good. Even with "seat yourself" seating which I hate because they might not know I'm there, the service has always been good. The pizza is the best in town, and even though the choices are limited, it's still pretty good. Garlic knots are a must. Their sandwiches are excellent also. They don't deliver to me so I've never tried that, but if you live close by, definitely pick up because places like this tend to have slow delivery during peak hours. If you want pizza in Douglasville, this is the place to go.

Hit and miss service us very inconsistent. Lost our order and we were eating there. Last time I had it delivered it took almost an hour and the pizza was burnt, unable to eat. Call to complain and said it would be another hour. Only after complaining they brought another pizza in 20 min and still charged me I have gave them several opportunities but to no avail, same bad service. Can not recommend.

the food is excellent however, the delivery service is lackluster. Each of my deliveries they have left off my condiments, napkins and i even received MY DRINK WITH A STRAW ALREADY IN IT ....VERY UNSANITARY!!!!

Posted some pictures of the food I was served..... disgusting and I dont advise you to go here to get pizza. Not NY pizza at all

I don't what kind of pizza that was, but it wasn't New York style.. Worst pizza Ive ever had. On top of being nasty it was burnt on the bottom. Ive had frozen pizza that was better than this, I don't know how this place is still open. I guess if you can sell a bridge in New York, you can sell New York style pizza in Douglasville. And to top it off I had to wait like 10 minutes for my change. Poor service and poor food.. Well poor pizza. They have a large menu, maybe they have something on there worth eating.

Johnnys has some of the best menu options available for delivery in the area. I love their salads which could be a meal on their own.... and I love how many toppings they offer. I do miss real NY pizza (after moving from there) but they are a better option than places like Papa John's. They are a bit pricey and they sometimes get the order wrong or have a long wait, but if you have any problems the manager Cindy is very accommodating!

Best pizza in Douglasville by far... I used to love in Brooklyn so this is the closest I can find to the real deal. Service is a bit iffy, but I keep giving them a chance since I love the food, and the managers have apologized for the bad service. All in all good food, I suggest take out !

We just placed an order, called the number to check on pizza the lady rudely told us"he has another order, you can pick it up. When the deliver guy got here he softly knocked on the storm door and made a gesture for us to hurry!! The staff is ghetto and it's not the first time. Love the pizza, customer service is horrible!

I'm gonna grade this place in two different catagories. Food and service. The service is first because it is what sticks in my mind. I don't know where they find so many absent minded pot heads to work at one place. Do they recruit from High Times magazine or what? I order delivery from here often and each time my order is screwed up and often times it takes hours to get my food. I don't know who is dropping the ball but management should really be paying more attention. The food is great as long as you don't get the above mentioned pot head preparing it. Really hit or miss on the quality. It is fairly priced and by far one of the better pizza joints around. I just really wish they would get things together because it has so much potential to be an awesome place. Quit burning one before work and pay attention to your job please!

My husband and I went back to Johnny's in Douglasville to redeem one of the free pizza certificates I had purchased previously. The certificate was for a large one topping pizza, and the pizza was HUGE. We ordered a peperoni pizza and it was 16" of deliciousness. I've had NY pizza once before, and I'm in no way a NY pizza aficionado, but this was pretty close to the real thing in my opinion. The pizza was cheesy, not too greasy, light, and heavenly. Even my husband was impressed, and that is saying a lot. I also have to make note of the customer service, it was great. Our server was attentive, friendly, and had all around great customer service skills. Oh, and I see they dusted. Maybe someone read my review, or not. Either way, a bump up in ratings for cleaner surroundings. We will be back .

We always joke, we don't go to Johnny's for the service. They are not terrible and you can tell they try but the waitress help in the kitchen so they get side tracked, ALOT. I think alot of kids cut their teeth waiting here. It's my favorite pizza so we go in knowing what to expect.

Have had Johnny's pizza in the past and I have to say that my impressions of the place has yet to be phased. Recently I have placed two orders to go in the past couple of weeks and both times the pies came out 10-15 minutes late of the estimated time of pickup. The pizzas weren't outstanding, but they are better than the franchise joints in town. Toppings can be sparse at times and when there is chicken it is usually dry making the pizza less edible. The dough has good flavor and a favorably thin crust so you can chow down on more pizza slices. I also find that the employees are fairly young for their age and lack customer service skills behind the counter, both at the till and making the food. Less concentration on making dishes and more on goofing around and having a fun time. If you are craving pizzas beyond the ordinary franchise, Johnny's is an escape but there are better places around, but barely.

Stopped in to get a toasted sub sandwich this past weekend and was sad I did. I imagine the gallon of mustard put on the club was to cover up the lack of taste in the actual meats. I cannot imagine another reason for SO MUCH mustard on a sub. But that was okay, the sandwich shined in comparison to the lack lust service. I won't be there again.

Just was here yesterday. Having heard mixed reviews for this place I decided to give it a try. I got a $25 restaurant.com GC for only $2 on special which was good on a $35 purchase. My fiance and I got 10 wings as starters. I thought their wings were surprisingly good. They were a good size with decent meat on them, which has been hard to find around here. A little pricey at $7.49 but like I said, at least they were a decent size. Also got a pitcher of beer for $11.49. We ordered a large meat deluxe for $21.99. I thought it was quite good. I'm a fan of the crust as it was light and airy. There weren't may people in there for a friday night which was surprising but the waitress said it was pretty unusual. We'll be back!

We were craving pizza here close to home and Douglasville does not really have a lot of pizza places to choose from but I took a chance on this place and it's ehhhh alright, certainly not the best pizza that I have ever had but beats Pizza Hut for sure. Giving it 3 stars (instead of 2) because out waitress and totally awesome and friendly. Doubt it if I'll be back though. I'm going to stick to Mellow in Douglasville.

Graded on the curve of Douglasville restaurants (as opposed to Atlanta), this place gets 4 stars for having the best pizza I've had in Douglasville, and very decent eggplant parm subs. They're consistent, and they deliver, and are feeding and nourishing me today as I am too sick to cook or leave my apartment. (I've only ever ordered in, haven't been to the actual restaurant.)

Bleech!!! So the hubby and I decide to go to Johnny's as the thai place next door is closed on Mondays. Walked in and there were about 10 people in the place not busy at all for Labor Day. We sat down and ordered from the lunch special menu--hubby: two slices of pizza with a coke and me: a chicken philly no cheese and a diet coke. It took the waitress 30 minutes just to get me my drink and chips after that when the food finally did arrive it was awful!!! Pizza tasted like cardboard and looked like the toppings were placed on it after it was taken out of the oven as opposed to baking them into the pizza, my sub on the other hand didn't taste like a thing..I had to add extra salt and ketchup to make it 1% edible. The waitress was horrible and the food was worse and to top it off we ordered one plain slice of pizza to go and when we did get our to go slice it looked as thin as piece of paper with sauce all over the place and two glops of cheese. I will not be back to this horrendous place.

Hubby and I decided to give this place a try for lunch. We entered to find you seat yourself...ok by me. Very small crowd. Only 2 tables occupied and 1 person sitting at the bar. Service : The waitress was quick to take order, nice and friendly. Never received a refill on drinks or asked if we wanted one. Food: Ehhhh...definitely haave had better. Hubby and I both ordered the Strombolis. He ordered plain pepperoni and I ordered one of the specialty ones listed on the menu. It arrived to the table in a very decent amount of time. We were first a little put off by the size. It was extremely narrow for a stromboli. Kind of like a banana...lol. The filling was almost non existent . The sauce....absoute delish!!! If I were rating just on the stromboli alone...this would def. only get 1 star. However the rich, delish sauce bumped it up a notch. Hubby decided to order 1 slice of pepperoni pizza to go as he was still hungry after eating the narrow stromboli. Once we got home he tried the pizza and found that it lacked cheese and sauce. He added his own cheese that we had at home, placed it in the oven for a few minutes and mentioned how he shouldve asked for a cup of the same sauce they gave us for the stromboli. Price: A little high for the portion of food received. 2 strombolis, 2 sodas and 1 slice of pepperoni around $25 Overall: will probably give it one more try just to ensure that todays meal wasnt a fluke.

Pizza that blows Dominos, Pizza Hut and Papa John's into the weeds -- and it is all due to the crust. And they deliver. Thank you God.
