We were camping nearby and stopped in for dinner. Pretty darn mediocre burrito and service was kind of awkward if that makes sense. I gave it 3 stars because my wife got a skirt steak burrito and enjoyed it.

I like this little Mexican restaurant close to where I live. Apparently, so do many of the locals because the parking lot usually has many cars in it. The food was good and I liked that they had a solo acoustic guy there (at least on a Thursday night when we went). They also have a nice outdoor setup. The two times I have been there we were seated immediately. Food wise, the salsa could use some thickness because it is very watery. The food overall was good for everyone in my party. I ordered a margarita that was displayed as a special on the white dry-erase board in the front. It was 1 part mix to 5 parts tequila!!!! WAY too strong for me to drink. I can usually stand a stiff drink, but this was like drinking from the liquor bottle. The server wanted to correct this right away, but I did not get a chance to tell him until my party of seven had already eaten their meals. Sooo, I sucked down a drink that tasted like nothing but sour mix, and we left 10 minutes later. Cheese Dip: Good Food: Good Margarita: Needs some adjusting Salsa: Needs improvement Atmosphere: Can have a band, has a nice set-up indoor and out

My go to place. I haven't been here as often as I use to. I use to live in walking distance. But I still love it. Good prices. Fast service. The owner makes you feel welcome and he is working! Ice never seen him stand around. Always taking.orders or seating people and running orders to the tables.

We've been here twice so far and the food and service have been great. Their margaritas are especially good and prices are quite reasonable. Because we are confident in their delicious taste and quality, we are going to treat our friends to dinner here next week. We know we will enjoy!

Go here often, because the food is very good, and they offer some things not standard on the local Mexican menus, such as a reasonably priced and tasty ceviche. Service can be a little spotty, but never felt like we were being ignored. I suggest it often as the last stop in a day of motorcycle riding, and never get an argument out of anyone!

Good lunch after outlet mall shopping. Steak and chicken in the Texas fajitas pretty tasty, shrimp not so much though. Definitely be back. Good service and the place just smells appetizing!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
