Garlic knots are awesome and you get a lot! Pizza was very good, nice amount of cheese, not too much sauce and they cook it well done, which I love! Will definitely order from them again. Don't think I will ever eat in the restaurant again way too small!

Garlic Knots, pizza, calzones.... all AWESOME! Great customer service. I would eat there three times a day if I could. It is like going into a real Italian family restaurant with blown up actual photos of old timey establishments on the wall. You can stand and order to go or sit and be served, either one allows you to watch actual food being made... dough brought out of proofing boxes and swirled and stretched to make your order, not some factory stamped and frozen static crust. Fresh ingredients and inviting smells round out t he picture of a perfect eating experience. Have loved everything we have ordered and will keep on trying until we taste the whole menu. A great local restaurant without feeling "cookie cutter". Highly recommend!

What delicious food! We are lucky to have such a great pizza place right here in Dacula. We have eaten there or had take out 4 times now. Each time the staff has been very accommodating and the food outstanding! You must try the garlic knots and the meatballs. We are planning on trying the calzone and the pasta but don't get to it because we keep reordering the yummy pizza!!

Outstanding place! Been here a few times already, each time the staff is friendly and always ask to please come back and if everything was satisfactory. My wife enjoys the fact that you can buy by the slice, which around Atlanta seems to be rather difficult. Yes, their pizza is good but my staple here is their Spaghetti and Meatballs! Yeah! I know what you are thinking, get off yer arse, boil some water and fix your own! however, Italian Pie makes a mean and rather large dish. For three times in a row I go to order a pie, maybe a Calzone, but each time I end up with the Spaghetti and Meatballs! Italian Pie, a great independent owned addition to Dacula. Give Pie a try!

I had 2 slices; one with mushrooms, one with olives. They were both good- good taste, good size, good crust. I would definitely go back. But I'd like to get a fresh, whole pizza to try as well.

I had a pizza and it ws great and the staff was friendly, unfortunately the number of food safety issues I observed while I waited for my pizza were numerous and serious. Their recent food safety score was 80 something but would have bee far lower if the inspector observed what I did. First when the baker is putting your pie in the ovev he literally blow hard under the bottom of the crust to get it off the spatula. The manager when from touching the keys on the register to removing the pizza, with his germ infested fingers. the cashier wore plastic gloves apparently thinking this was a germ shield for his protection. If there were this many flagrant safety violation in view I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. While the food is very good I won't be back.

We ordered delivery tonight. The portions were huge seriously I probably will eat 3 meals off mine and I know my son will eat 3 meals off his kids fettuccine. It was delicious and our delivery driver was very nice. I normally don't write reviews but I felt the need to today it was so good.

This place use to be good with great food but has recently started to display poor customer service skills and management. I am a long standing customer who was just placed on hold repeatedly and then repeatedly hung up on. When asked to speak with a manager I was verbally abused and hung up on again. I am really disappointed with this recent turn of events at Italian Pizza Pie as it use to be our to go place.

My family and I really enjoy eating here. Their pizza, calzones and salads are authentically fresh. The staff is courteous and the owner is very nice. Caution, it can get very busy in the evenings and the restaurant is small, so what we usually do, is take out. They also deliver and I heard you can BYOB of wine. Overall, this is an excellent place to enjoy with the family and enjoy authentic Italian pies!

Order two pizzas and some garlic knots this past Sunday. I must say I was not disappointed. The knots are delicious, I could just eat those all day long. The pizzas were not greasy, very flavorful, and just plain good. I will be back.

First timers and it was sooooo good! The garlic knots are a must try. We then had the Sicilian style pizza with onion and sausage. The sausage was spicy without being hot. We will most definitely be going back!!

Having had pizza in places like San Remo, Verona, Venice and Milan I could say that although I'm not an expert I know a thing or two about authentic Italian pizza and this place is awesome! I ate at the restaurant once and had delivery two days later, I enjoyed the food very much both times. The ingredients are abundant, fresh and of the highest quality! Their lemon pepper chicken wings are to die for (I had never tried this recipe before) and the Greek salad is a hit with lots of feta cheese! Besides pizzas, salads and wings, I also saw pastas, calzones and sandwiches on the menu. The owners Rafael and Jenny are extremely kind and customer driven and this great attitude and superb quality of service trickles down to the rest of the staff both in the kitchen and servers. The place has nice outdoor seating available as well as booths and tables inside, although the place is not huge they easily accommodate large groups. I can't wait to go back to Atlanta and eat there again!

Great new pizza place in Dacula. We stopped in with the family after my son's Taekwondo testing one Friday night and shared a couple of pizzas. Taste was excellent. Toppings very fresh. Staff super friendly and appreciative of our business. Will definitely go back.

approaching a year since this location opened and my family are as loyal to your restaurant as ever! You just cannot beat the pizza and the dinners, but what really makes it even better is the owner and manager. Courteous, sincere, etc. If they make a little mistake on a pizza they offer me a replacement and even give me the one they messed up on. I'm talking simple stuff like the person taking the order over the phone missing a topping. No argument, no frustration, just a quick "We will make it right" and they do...! I do not know the owner personally, but we eat there so much and he is so nice, they feel like family! The only danger this restaurant faces is the possibility of hiring the wrong workers, or changing their recipe. Don't do either!

This place is very good, but not great. The pizza was a little light on the sauce, and the sauce was lacking flavor. It was certainly a better pie than say, Papa John's or some other chain. The salads here are fresh and have adequate toppings. Be careful when you ask for the house dressing, as it is just oil and vinegar.

The pizza was delicious! Not too greasy, lots of cheese and nice large slices. Was hoping the place could be our new favorite pizza delivery place, but the prices are a little too steep to order regularly. Still, it's a great local place to try on occasion.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
