So this place is pretty decent for a Mexican restaurant in South Georgia. They are pretty tolerant with me picking and choosing from the menu when I go. And the food is more authentic than other Mexican restaurants here in town. They keep the place clean and the servers are pretty attentive. It's not my most favorite Mexican restaurant in the world, but for Cordele, this is your best bet!

We are from Wisconsin and just passing thru, so I fired up the TripAdvisor app. This place had great reviews, so we decided to try it out. Use your GPS, or you will not find this place. It's definitely a place locals use and that's okay with me. The food was outstanding! My wife and I had the chicken and shrimp fajitas for 2. It came out sizzling and the whole skillet was seasoned perfectly. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. If I'm ever back this way, I will definitely eat here again!

Yelp has failed us this one time! I'm not sure if people in this town have taste buds at all. I saw all these great reviews for this place so we were excited to try it. Let me just say, save some money and keep driving to the nearest Taco Bell. Sorry but not sure what all these other people ate there that they thought was so great!?! I'd give this place a "no star" but didn't want you to think I just forgot to rate it.

Gross!!! Worst Mexican food EVER! Just left and my stomach is already turning. Either from the one bite of the Chimichanga with the fake tasting melted cheese it was smothered in, or the $43 I just flushed (or will soon be flushing) on my families lunch. 4 out 5 of us hated it and left full plates behind.

Fantastic food, great and friendly service. Best tamales I've ever had. I highly recommend el Girasol. We found it on Yelp traveling down to Florida, and we will make a point to return.

Best mexican food in Cordele!! Very friendly staff and the food is amazing!!!! I eat here every week. Spicy salsa and chips, chicken chimichanga, girasol special, you name it! If you are ever in town, you definitely need to stop by.

I'm from South Texas originally, and I have to say, this Mexican Food is pretty dang Good for South Georgia. Though this is not Tex- Mex food, it's still a great representation of Mexican American Food. The menu is large and the options are amazing. I usually judge my Mexican food on how well the rice is made, it is the easiest side in Mexican palate, and it was really great! I love the variety of beer they have and this place is very clean. Sevice is outstanding. Restrooms are small but who cares at this point, as long as they function properly. All In all, all the major points were met.. Food/service/cleanliness... All met and exceeded my expectations. This place gets a five star without a doubt. For those who rated low and compared to taco bell, just stick to grits and gravy, I'm glad I didn't follow your yelp posts and not go.
