I have been here a few times now for dinner. This is a very cozy restaurant almost hidden away in the corner of a fairly large shopping center. While the dining area is small, the atmosphere is very welcoming. I have received excellent service and very good food every time I have enjoyed dinner here. I recommend this spot to those looking for a place with great service, good food, and an atmosphere where you can enjoy conversation while breaking bread with friends.

Pizza is ok. Toppings and sauce are very commissary. Not to mention the place is filthy! Next time you are in there look at the ceiling and the floors, and check out the area where they are preparing your food! I'm afraid to order from there again!

I've been coming here since I was a wee baby and I have never met this pizza's equal. I have traveled all over the country and have not found a thin or thick crust pizza that is as good as Peluso's thin and crispy, slap yo momma down, just rockin' great pizza!!! Lou Malnati's in Chicago, has a deep dish pizza that uses a thin crust similar to this that pull up on the sides and put the deep dish ingredients in and it is easily the best in Chicago and that I've had. I would say that Peluso's ties it or is slightly better. Ask for it thin, crispy and hot. Enjoyyyy!!! oh yeah!

OK so this place has OK food it is how ever not very fresh the pasta's are microwaved 90% of the ingredients are frozen and you can buy at the store for half the cost of eating there the place itself is out dated the carpet is old and the kitchen is just dirty I do not know how they pass inspection I have seen roaches there all in all I would not eat there you can make what they say they have better at home for half the price.

Very friendly environment! You get free soup, salad, and bread with any pasta entree you order. And hands down the best thin crust pizza in the area!! Yummy yummy in my tummy :)

We had a good pizza. They had 3 or 4 microwaves fired up the whole time we were there...not sure why. Restaurant could use some renovations. Pizza was good and ingredients are fresh. Great cheese.

The place looks dirty (splatter on walls, dirt on sills, grime on vents, empty fish tank, business paperwork on countertop) but displays a 100% Health Rating. The staff is quite friendly and the place is quaint; resembles something from a mafia movie. The pizza was spectacular! The salad seemed fresh but the minestrone soup tasted canned; salty & soggy ingredients. We got the Peluso's Pasta Platter which wasn't bad but also didn't have fresh ingredients. If they used fresh ingredients, we'd be back for the food. If the restaurant wasn't dirty, we'd be back for the service.

Peluso's doesn't feature the best Italian cuisine I've ever had, but I'm always more apt to support local businesses. They do have a flawless house dressing and an excellent lunch special (something like 7.50 including a drink and a salad).

The food isn't bad but could be better. Pizza was fresh, hot and tasty with an adequate amount of toppings. Lasagna is good but dry for my taste. They only had two kinds of draft beer! TWO! Servers were very friendly and attentive. The place is in desperate need of a remodel as the table, booths, decor are all old.

Yummy Pizza and wonderful, friendly staff! We ADORE Penny! She is the most awesome waitress at Peluso's. She and/or Stacy always make our meal perfect! They can get pretty crowded at lunch, but are always very efficient!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
