I love this restaurant so much that I've been there 3 times. I have tried something different each visit and it has all been delicious. The flat bread pizzas are very good. I tried the John Belushi with feta, sun dried tomatoes and chicken. This was by far the best flat bread I've ever tasted. The service is amazing and the owner is a wonderful, accommodating lady. A friend of mine just mentioned BBQ shrimp and even though it was a special from time to time, the owner made an order on the spot. All of the staff are super friendly. They also offer a Sunday brunch and the she crab soup is just dreamy. I tried a burger on my next visit and it was cooked to perfection. They offer a full bar and the bartender makes each visit special. A definite must when you're visiting Clayton, Georgia!

I was not surprised by the previous review. When the owner, Cappy (Caprice), isn't cooking up in the kitchen she's checking on everyone in the restaurant making sure they not only enjoy their food but will be dreaming of coming back for more. The she crab soup is AWESOME! Not gonna lie. I wasn't expecting good she crab in the North GA Mountains, but it was beyond good. The baked clams were delicious, enough to share with my family, but I wanted to hog them all for myself. :) We all got something different, and everyone was convinced theirs was the best. The atmosphere is colorful and laid back. The food is superb. The hospitality is humbling. Zeppelin's exudes peace, love, and happiness.

Zeppelin's is a good choice for Clayton dining. The decor is casual and has a colorful, 70's vibe with vintage albums on the walls. The food was good- we had a chicken pesto pasta the was tasty. The pizza we had was ok- flat, crispy crust and served in a square (each named after a figure from the 70's- ours was a Frank Zappa). Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and casual (in case you've been out hiking).

Food is very good -- who knew that if you left the highway there would be this wonderful little main street! Zeppelin's is decorated in 60s and 70s rock, decorated with album covers and artists' photos, and really nicely done. The chef Cappy comes and checks on everything, the waitstaff is nice and knowledgeable, and the food is really good, if a bit pricey. The dessert we ordered (fried cheesecake with bananas) was luscious.

We always stop every year on the way to the mountains in this place that is located in Clayton, GA. Excellent little jem before driving into North Carolina. We stopped around 3pm and the place was almost empty except for one other table. The service is always wonderful here, we always seem to get the same waitress every year so I think she must be part of the family that owns this place. My family ordered as a starter, the she crab and crayfish dip for appetizer...delish :). Then for late lunch or early dinner we had the Red Chili burger (a little spicy), Yoko Ono burger, She Crab soup and the Bismark Greek salad. Everything was superior. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. I have no compliants on this place. It's a must see. Stop through for pretty much any thing on the menu, I have never had a bad meal and the food is always cooked fresh!

My boyfriend and I were so excited to find Zeppelin's because it was the only place we could find to eat that was open past 10 in Clayton! But as we took a seat in the restaurant area (the front is a bar) a server came up to us and said the kitchen was closed. When we started to leave the couple sitting outside stopped us and asked how everything was and when we told them we were looking for food the woman announced she was the owner and she'd be happy to make us something. We went back inside and she went over the menu with us and recommended the "Woodstock" flat bread pizza. It came with everything but she gladly made it half meat half veggie for us. She warned us it would take a little while because she had already turned the oven off, but we were happy to wait. It didn't take long at all and it was delicious! She was so sweet to do that for us - I can't imagine anywhere else doing the same thing. We are forever grateful! It seems like a relatively new place, very clean, great decor, and, of course, great music. Tons of records and concert swag adorns the walls and it has a great neighborhood bar vibe. We wanted to go back for lunch the next day, but they're closed Sundays. This place is hidden off the highway and we never would have found it if we hadn't taken a wrong tour. It's a GREAT find in the midst of all the "kountry kitchen" types that you tend to find in North Georgia. Definitely recommend it if you're nearby!

Great food, great service and very cool ambience. A bit noisy at times but not surprising at this type of place. Very welcoming atmosphere in the bar and the music theme decor in the dining area is very cool. Best of all, very good food. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the eggs Benedict crab cakes with hash browns and fresh fruit while my Mom and I split a basil, garlic and sun-dried tomato flatbed pizza. It was excellent! We'll be back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
