Must start by saying that the service was exceptional! The manager even interacted with my 3 year old which was awesome. We went on a Sunday, when it first opened at 11am and sat outside. My husband, who is from Miami (the home of the Cuban sandwiches), loves Marlow's cuban press. He says that it's not like the Miami sandwich, but that is is SO GOOD. My picky 3 year old devoured the mac n cheese and french fries, along with the chocolate cake. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because I was not impressed with their lamb wrap. It lacked sauce or something and since it was on the pricey side, I was disappointed. BUT, we will definitely be back because this place still rocks and hands down has the best burgers I've tasted.

My sweetheart and I had our first visit here today, and Heaven our waitress was super sweet! She let her manager Lindsey know that it was our first time there, so Lindsey brought over a dish on the house! Great hospitality and a nice atmosphere. Thanks Heaven for the great experience!

Marlow's Tavern was amazing! The atmosphere was great. The waitstaff were personable, friendly, and perfectly on time with our food. A girl named, Alix, was our server. Ask for her. You are sure to get the best service. Five glowing stars are in order for the food and Chef. The chef is also part owner of the restaurant. It is obvious he cares a great deal. I have struggled with finding any quality restaurants within a thirty mile radius of me. So, I will be coming back to Marlow's Tavern . I would recommend you do as well.

My friend and I went here for lunch and we're asked if we wanted inside or outside, since it was nice out we said outside. We were seared on the patio next to a large party table that had a very attentive server. We waited for about ten minutes and no one ever came. Then Another Table was seated by us and within two minutes they were getting their drink orders...then as the waiter delivered those drinks another table was sat by us and the waiter went directly to that table as well. Several hostesses peeked around the corner at us but a server was never sent over. We say there for a total of 20 minutes without a single person talking to us, while all the tables around us were being served. So while I would like to be able to review the food o can only speak for the service at this point, and it was very poor

I just walked in, and stood at the door for a solid 5 minutes. No one approached me, the manager stood across from me, did not say a thing. A waitress walked past me, and did not acknowledge me at all. I have doubts of ever returning.

On a Saturday 2pm, May 30, 2015. We sat down to order drinks and got talked into a Sangria carafe, service was good, the place was about 60% full. But we both got sick from splitting a very small carafe. I never left the table, so I know nobody else put something into our glasses. But for about 3 hours, we couldn't eat a thing. And No, it wasn't from having too much alcohol... neither she or I had a buzz from it.... it was mostly ice.... and a real ripe off at $32 plus TIP... .. But the entire time we both keep saying how the Sangria had a odd strange taste,,, we kept drinking it because we thought it was just a strange spice they had added.... But for about 4 hours our stomachs felt queasy. We both owned restaurants in the past, so we think maybe they are due for a surprise visit from the Health Dept. Too bad they never do that. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of just 1.... is because we didn't try the food and service was mostly good. After about the 4th hour,,, we ate next door at the Cheesecake Factory and started feeling a good bit better. But based on other comments, it is definitely over priced based on what we saw on their menu.

This was my first time, along with my friend's first time, at Marlow's Tavern and it was also our last! We were excited because the Mall of Georgia Marlow's Tavern had just opened and we usually stick to our usual Tin Lizzy's across the walkway but we decided to give Marlow's a shot since we've only heard great things about it! My sister went a couple of weeks before I did, and she just loved it. The hostess was super sweet and polite. The atmosphere is great, but after reading other reviews who didn't like the space, I guess it's just personal preference. It's a really intimate enviroment, so it's great for a first date or Valentine's day. The lighting is dim and there's music. It's cute! Anyways, we sat at our table and our waitress took FOREVER and this was just for a simple greeting and to put in our drink order. When we decided to leave, she finally came to the table so we thought "Okay, we'll just stay. It's not worth the trouble to go somewhere else." The waitress had a great personality and had a great sense of humor, but we were just turned off by her untimely manner. She didn't even deliver our food and the female who did was beyond rude and didn't look very happy to be there. My friend and I have both worked as servers before, so we know how it goes. Our waitress only came around exactly TWO times; the greeting and when the manager had to find her for us. We couldn't even put in second orders for beers because she was never to be found! I caught the manager's attention and he was nice until I mentioned "We can't find our server and we'd like the check, please." Then he just looked annoyed like "Oh gosh... another annoying customer." Even the manager didn't really seem to care. We aren't rude people nor do we expect anything free when it comes to poor customer service, we just expect management to address the issue and fix it! It wasn't even a busy night, it was a Wednesday evening. The food itself was okay. If you want really interesting food and want to try something new, I would not suggest Marlow's Tavern. We had the wings and calamari. The calamari was kind of soupy and soggy... not what we expected. I believe the wings were baked, just from the texture and the way it tasted. I'm a huge food lover and i'm not afraid to try new things. I come from a family of amazing chefs and restaurant owners. Marlow's food isn't BAD, it's just not necessarily for those who really really know their food. Maybe I should've tried something else, but I wasn't impressed. Overall, our experience was terrible. I wouldn't reccommend this place to anyone, but I think we just had bad luck this night. I'm sure they have some great servers and it's just by luck whether you get a great server or a bad server, but I don't think i'll be returning...

Just tried to have lunch ..sat outside ..waited 15 minutes while servers checked 2 other tables and brought 1/2 glasses of beer to the table next to my daughter and I. NOT ONE SERVER offered us so much as a glass of water. This is not even close to the legendary service at Marlows in Vinings which is much closer to where I live. Take a suggestion ..blow off the mall of ga marlows unless you want crappy non attentive service. Go to Vinings or better yet go somewhere else at mall of ga

I went there on a Saturday for lunch. We had a group of 9, which was accommodated very easily on the outside dining area. We waited no more than 5 minutes for the tables to be set together by the staff. This location has just opened, so it might be why it was so easy to accommodate a group like ours so quickly, i am not sure it would happen again once words spreads out that there is a new restaurant opened at the Mall. Back to the food... For appetizer my wife and I ordered the Fried Calamari with a Sweet and Sour Chili sauce. I was GREAT, the calamari had been cooked just the right amount of time, as they were not rubbery; the batter was crisp and the sauce really good with just the right amount of spiciness. I then ordered a Blue Cheese Burger and was not satisfied with it. When it arrived at the table, the top bun was not charred but it was extremely dry, kind like a toasted piece of bread actually. The flavor of the burger was ok, i could do the same burger at home. My wife ordered some kind of Salad, with no protein. Our waitress (very nice the whole time and attentive, so I won't count that next point against her) indicated that the portion for the salad was generous, being served in a large bowl like plate, but again, when it arrived at the table it was quite smaller than what she described. Last but not least, THE dessert... we shared a Tres Leches cake. It came in the size of a cupcake. It was moist and had berries for decoration; however it was not a Tres Leches. The moist texture of the cake did not come from the milks, but rather the butter in the batter. The Milks were probably poured on top of the cake at the last minute rather that the cake being left to absorb the milk ahead of time. I am not ready to give this restaurant another chances just yet, as i honestly think my overall experience is due to the recent opening of the place, with most likely inexperienced (kitchen) staff. I will come back sometime in the next 6 months and give it another try. I'll update my review then...

My wife and I went to this location for the first time and were really disappointed. We have gone to other locations and love Marlows but this experience was of the least enjoyable. We got sat in an area where bigger parties you could say sit at. Our waitress was pretty bad since after sitting and eating for almost an hour, we never got a single refill for our drinks until we had to ask for it. She was attending the other tables a lot more than ours. We love tipping people for their work so maybe she read the book by its cover. We believe one of the main managers was walking around and checking up on tables and out of about 6 tables, we were the only ones he didn't acknowledge and just kept walking past. We were confused and didnt know if we werent wanted there or if we just didnt meet his expectations to come talk to us. The only reason the review gets a star is because the burgers were very delicious. Our asparagus fries were not as enjoyable as they have been at other locations, so that was a minus. The food was ok but the staff sure knows how to make you leave a bad tip. Should of left a damn penny on the table but we are generous people. Never going back to this Marlows again.
