Outside of the New York City limits, this may be the best Hot Dog I've had. A guilty please of the highest order while I was working in Georgia. Family run and always friendly, two of their Slaw Dogs with greasy fries, washed down with a homemade Sweet Tea... a perfect meal. The slaw topping changed the way I eat hot dogs. Had to do a lot of extra running after we started going here.

This is one of those places that have an unbelievable nostalgic feel for those who have gone there since childhood. If you're like me and just passing through you won't be as impressed. Dogs were ok not great, fries again just ok. Service was fine and culture through the roof. Overall I'm glad I tried but it won't be a must have on my next visit to the golden Isles.

Truth be told, I have not dined here in over four years. I'm writing this review because I dreamed of Willie's and their pork chop sandwich last night. Based on my memory and the reviews I've read since then, I wanted to add my two cents worth. Willies is worth every penny for their food. A word of advice, if you don't want to wait, call your order in before you get there. Thanks for the fond dreams Willie's. I'm going to have to return someday.

When I lived here I had to have a pork chop sandwich, fries, and SWEET iced tea (no UN-sweet) almost every week. The steak sandwiches are good, the hot dogs (and their variations) are good, but the pork chop sandwich is what makes Willie's famous. It is a local landmark and you really have to try it if you are in town. I don't hand out 5 stars too freely and this is definitely a 5 star establishment. I go back when I'm in town but it makes it harder to leave town after a pork chop sandwich!

A little overrated. Pork chop sandwich: This, I actually liked. Tender, boneless pork chops on a toasted bun, with onions and just enough mustard. Not too shabby. Polish sausage (with mustard, onions, and tomatoes): Pretty gross. While their overcooked, soggy onions were OK on the pork chop sandwich, they just didn't work here. I think it was the combination of the soggy onions with the soggy tomatoes that put me off. I wasn't a fan of the sausage itself, either. I ate maybe half of this, and I tossed the rest. Sweet tea: Mediocre. Fries: Also mediocre. Thick cut, but quite mealy. Bring cash, but bring enough, since this place isn't rock-bottom cheap.

Willie's has great greasy food. I love the Willie Burger with extra cheese. They have the best sweet tea. If you pull up to Willie's don't let long lines deter you. The friendly folks at Willie's will have your Willie Burger, bulldog, fish sandwich or pork chop sandwich to you in no time. With every order you get pepperoncinis. Willie Burger + Jumbo Sweet Tea = Hangover Cure After a meal at Willies my hangover headache disappears. They are open Tuesday through Saturday. They only accept cash. If the heat is too much for you, place a call to Willie's and take your food home to eat.

I've been here twice and last night I got to try the pork chop sandwich. I must say, the pork chop sandwich was the better than I could have ever imagined. It was also a good size, and with the fries, I left stuffed. Il definitely recommend this place and will be back!

This place is a childhood favorite of mine. The food will never win any awards but it is like going to the Varsity (better tasting though). You enjoy the food and it is a little slice of indulgence that everyone needs. Everyone says the Pork Chop Sandwich and I will have to get one but from memory this place always had good dogs. Not NY or Chicago dogs but we are talking south GA here. Good eating.

Love this place. Had the boneless pork chop sandwich , bull dog- slaw, cheese, tomato, pickle, onion m&k, really good fries and sweet tea to complete the meal. Only bad thing the bugs attack when food comes but they do have fly swatters at each table. CASH ONLY & they do not post prices on menu board

Pork chop sandwich is as advertised, THE BEST! Fries were straight from the fryer hot. Sweet tea hit the spot. Truly enjoyable experience. Sure stop next time down in B-town.

If you're ever driving through Brunswick, Georgia, don't be a fool and sacrifice quality for speed! Take the extra fifteen minutes, and drive a whole 4 miles off of I-95 and taste real meat served by enthusiastic, friendly, genuine people - not ammonia-soaked, processed and pressed garbage filled and wrapped with some form of corn by-product. We have debated for months whether the best hot dog in the world is to be had at Willies Wee-Nee Wagon or at the Roanoke Weiner Stand, and we are still split on the decision. You be the judge! The pork sandwich is also fantastic, so get one of each!

I luv luv luv this place. It was a special treat to meet "Mama Willie" the day we went. We had the pork chop sandwich and the sweet tea, which was Heaven. We also tryed a slaw dog and it was great. The cup of Chilli was hot and spicy, but not too hot, sooo good. This place is actually build in an old shack. It is not fancy but they keep it very clean. We took a road trip for an entire week with the family and I have to say that this was the highlight of our entire trip.

  • A. J.

I absolutely can't do without this place. It is a little shack like stand that reminds me of days gone by. The pork chop sandwich and sweet tea are my favorites. The Brunswick Dog is my all time favorite hot dog. The secret is in the roll. It ranks number one; ahead of the Baltimore Dog at Attman's in Baltimore, MD, DC3 in Washington, DC and Texas Hot Dogs in Altoona, PA.

The boyfriend always raved about this place since he arrived to Georgia. So when I finally went to visit him over there, that was the first thing I just had to try. When I first saw it, I was skeptical. The place reminded me of a run down house and you order from the window BUT when I took a bite of that pork chop sandwich.. I hate to admit it, but the BF was finally right. Yum Yum Yum! That's all I was thinking. Perfect texture, wasn't dry or overcooked. Perfect flavor, wasn't too salty or bland. The meat was fresh (did not smell/taste refrigerated like a lot of other restaurants) sweet onions and all the goodies you want packed in a toasted bun. mmm...mm... delicous! It was so good, they offer you $2K CASH if you can find a better pork chop sandwich in the county! THAT's how good it was. I don't even know if the fancy 5 star restaurants over here in San Francisco can say that. To top the yummy sandwich off, you order it with yummy fries. It was a tad bit too thick cut and mushy for my taste but I've always had this odd attraction for McDonald's cancerous fries so you can disregard that comment. Ah, and what is the meal without Willie's sweet tea! Pork chop sandwich+fries+sweet tea=Perfection. It isn't expensive either. Total came out around 7 bucks. It's official. There's no better way to welcome myself to Brunswick than stopping by this place. Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon.. I HEART U. ~Your Secret Admirer From Across The Nation

This is our first time, was just driving by and stoped for lunch! Great pork sandwich, and any of the hotdogs are great. Would eat here again. Only draw back indoor seating is limited.

Wow - Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon is a local landmark. The food is hot, flavorful & just a bit greasy (like some things just should be) and the iced tea is so so sweet. They have a variety of delicious hot dog toppings, fish sandwiches, steak sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and despite the focus on wee-nees, the BEST boneless pork chop sandwiches I have ever had. If you can find one better, you could earn yourself $1000. I was a very picky eater as a kid & more often than not, Mom would have to swing by Willie's to pick me up a hot dog before we went to some other restaurant just so I'd eat. Luckily, I grew up just a couple of blocks from this establishment so I could walk there to pick up hot dogs for the family. Suggestions: Smile, be friendly, and if you are a newbie, expect some ribbing from the staff. Don't be surprised if people start singing or you become the subject of an impromptu jingle. Please, please, please don't order unsweetened tea. That is just a cardinal sin.

Please.don' t.hate.me . This place was just okay. CASH ONLY so be prepared. It was busy, so I know it's definitely a local favorite. Order: - Pork chop sandwich - sigh. Maybe it was the hype... but I've definitely had better. It was just okay. Nothing great.... and not terrible. - Hot dogs were good. Wide selection of toppings so there's definitely something for everyone. - Sweet tea: DELISHHHHHH. =) But yeah. Sad to say... it was just a-ok. -

15 mins after I placed my order I noticed that folks where getting there food before me when I had ordered before them... 20 mins total later (my son and husband waiting in the car...) I asked the lady where my order was... The very nice lady took care of me and also gave me an order of fries and tea extra. Food was good, big dawgs, but the wait wasn't fun...

  • Nyla S.

Great customer service and even better food! I've only had the pork chop sandwich with fries and a sweet tea, but that's all I needed. It's definitely the best pork chop sandwich I've ever had!

This is a great place to go for a quick bite in between sightseeing. My fiancé and I had a willie dog and a pork chop sandwich; he loves pork chops, so this was a huge draw. It was delicious! We ate outside on a picnic bench on a sunny day in January.... it was pretty prefect.

Pork chop sandwich good. Not great. Bulldog hotdog not very good. Not too friendly. Probably wont go back.

It's National Hot Dog Day, so you can bet I'm headed to Wille's! This is a MUST stop for anyone in the area!

  • Roy M.

Really loved the pork sandwich very good lots of pepper good taste. We also ordered hotdogs I had one we all thought the hotdogs were way to small for the size of bun. I was expecting a good hotdog but it looked nasty like it was sitting in water to long. Also the bigger girl at the window was not friendly at all. If I ever went back I would get either the pork sandwich or willie burger people at next table said they were the best. Stay away from the mystery meat dogs.

It's a beautiful fall afternoon as we pull in to Willy's Wee-Nee Wagon for a bite of lunch. You can feel people's excitement as they queue up to the order window. Hot dogs of all kinds, burgers, fried fish sandwich, but best of all is the boneless pork chop sandwich. As our number is called we pick up our food and scurry to one of the picnic tables to devour these simple, southern culinary delights. Let me tell you, if you are anywhere near Brunswick, GA this little place is well worth the detour both for the food and the experience! Once you've eaten at Willy's Wee-Nee Wagon you'll be longing to go back to Brunswick just so you can stop there again!

Still the best pork chop sandwich ever. They have been in business for a long time and the quality is still as good today as it ever has been. Plus the sweet tea is included

Awesome food. We had the original pork chop sandwiches and also a Brunswick hotdog. Wonderful flavors and condiments the would not usually go together but complimented the food. The sandwiches were huge and we didn't really need the home cut fries that we also ordered. The grilled onions were sweet and carmelized just right. The pork was tender and juicy, marinated in something awesome but this is not a BBQ joint and that was good for a change. The grilled bun was soft and perfect. Great value for the cost but it was a cold night and outdoor seating was not fun. There were two groups of 12 people right ahead of us so understandably, we waited quite a while for our food. It certainly isn't fancy but the food is wonderful and we'll be back, more prepared for the weather this time! Don't be put off by the appearance. It is a real "hole in the wall".

I came up here from Jacksonville for business and I kept hearing about this sandwich. Yes, the pork chop sandwich is everything it's pumped up to be! The place is busy pretty much all the time. I tried to stop in yesterday and it was too crowded. Today at 1:30 it wasn't too bad so I was bound and determined to get me the world renowned pork chop sandwich. Service was fast, friendly, and entertaining. The food mmmmmmmmmmmmm amazing. At one point I looked up after devouring half the sandwich and people just smiled and nodded as if to say, "I remember my first time..." I will definitely bring the family up here, soon. This place is the real deal!

  • Lisa S.

I don't understand the hype. We went here because we just had to experience this pork chop sandwich that everyone seems to be raving about in the reviews. It was just OK. Nothing special. It certainly is not worth me going out of my way for, again. There was limited seating inside. There were a few picnic tables outside that, if you chose to sit there, you would share with the flies. The worst thing for me though was the girl in the window. Didn't get her name, but she was very impersonal and unfriendly. I wanted so much to like this place.

If you are in Brunswick and are in the mood for something fast and delicious, skip all of the chains and get to Willie's Wee-Nee Wagon. It's a bare-bones joint with picnic table seating, but I promise you no matter you will not be disappointed (unless you're a vegetarian). My husband had the pork chop sandwich, which was juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I had a chili dog which was although not spicy, also well seasoned with a hint of cinnamon? in the chili? My son had a normal "kiddie" hot dog with ketchup and mustard, and everything was perfect! I even liked the steak fries, and I usually don't like steak fries. I would definitely return and there is no reason to seek out a drive-thru anything in Brunswick, just head to Willie's.

It's been 5 years since I've been here. It hasn't changed a bit in the 25 years since I first visited. The Pork Chop sandwich is still divine. The WillyBurger is and always will be my favorite and the standard by which I judge other burgers. This place may not look like much but it puts out some incredible food.

  • Amanda C.

What a fun place! The girls making the hotdogs we're so sweet, country and loud! Straight entertainment. We had some deep fried french fries to an average joe perfection! The weenies we're loaded what the sweet wild woman demanded that I needed to put on there for the first time ever and I was impressed added jalapenos and onions. You can sit here and be out of the rain since they is covered . it's a small country porch place. And they have southern hospitality. the chili dog is my jam.thaks uncle Willie

  • Chris K.

Have not been here in several years and still the best pork chop sandwich I've ever had. Guess that's why they offer you 5 grand if you can find a better one.. And yes the name still cracks me up... :)

I was really excited to try this place after hearing so much about it. It's a small building that has limited inside seating, and a number of picnic tables outside. You have to wait outside to place your order, and some days the line is pretty long. Unfortunately, the friendly faces I was expecting to see weren't very friendly. The staff was really cold towards myself and the group I was with. I'm not sure what the issue was there considering we had simple questions like where to order, and asking for napkins to clean the picnic table we were sitting at. I took away a star because of the staff's attitudes. The food was really good; a tad bit greasy, but good none the less. The fries are hit or miss. One of the batch my friends had was good, while the other wasn't. The fried pork chops sandwich was delicious. But again, very greasy. It took a little while for our food to come out, but since they really busy it should be expected. There is a $10 minimum on credit cards, so be prepared to bring cash unless you are making a big order.

Stopped in for lunch and it was AWESOME Had the kraut dog and fries... Note one fry can be shared.

  • Rico R.

I'm glad I found this place, from the time I arrived until the time I left, there was a giant line. I had the pork chop sandwich and it was really good; the meat was tasty and tender and I which I would have ordered two of them! I can suggest to avoid the mustard and don't waste your money on the fries, they were not good at all.

    (5)
  • Twyla C.

Great little funky place. Pork chop sandwich is the best! Fries good too. Enough to share. Found this place on Yelp. Glad we tried it. Staying in area for a while. We'll definitely try to get back here.

  • Chris S.

I stumbled onto this place while looking for a burger shop and I am so glad that I took a chance with it. Not sure how the hot dogs taste like, but if there's anything that's a must try, it's the pork sandwich (thank you fellow yelpers!!!). So the pictures may not look appetizing and the place looks like a complete hole in the wall in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood in Brunswick, but it's well worth it. The sandwich comes with a soft bun and a generous serving of perfectly seasoned and juicy thin slices of pork chop with your choice of mustard and grilled onions. I had mine with just mustard, but you could probably just have the sandwich with nothing but the pork chop and bun. Yep! The meat is so good that you don't need anything else with! The menu doesn't have any prices, but for $6 and some change, you get the pork sandwich and sweet tea (a must have with the sandwich!). Don't bother coming in Sunday and Monday because it's closed and when you order, order in the front. Cash only for orders under $10.

  • Matthew R.

Willie's boneless pork chop sandwich was incredible. Even better than I imagined. The atmosphere is hot dog standesque which was cool. I also had the Brunswick Dog. Really tasty, but you need to like onions because they are covered up. Highly recommend the pork chop sandwich.

  • Cohlrox P.

Was driving back home when passing through this area and saw the reviews for this place and decided to stop by and check it out. I am always on the look out for a good hotdog. I got the pork chop sandwich, chili dog and slaw dog. ALL three were tasty! The pork chop sandwich reviews and signs do not lie, that is an extremely good pork chop sandwich. You would expect pork cut that thin to be dry or tough but it is tender and seasoned perfectly with grilled onions and just the right amount of mustard! The chili has a back end kick that is juuuusst right. The slaw is slighty sweet but not too sweet and perfect for the hotdog. I expected this kind of hotdog in New York and never found it there, instead I am pleasantly surprised to find it in Brunswick Georgia of all places. The prices are listed on the little paper menus and not on the giant sign. Stand in line, place your order and pay. Then you relax on one of the tables nearby and they will call the contents of your order at the same window when it is ready. They accept credit cards only on order of more than $10. Considering the quality of the food that you get for the price that you pay this place is ABSOLUTELY worth the 10 minute detour from the highway to grab a bite to eat.

  • Lan T.

This is an interesting place. The workers are great and helpful. I wish they had prices on the menu to minimize questions, but they don't. I got the famous porkchop sandwich which comes with sweet tea. I think it was about $6 and some change. The sandwich was good, I wish we had the option of adding other stuff like lettuce, tomato, mushrooms or cheese. Maybe there was the option but it wasn't marketed. I liked the sweet tea because it wasn't overly sweet. I don't think I'd crave the porkchop sandwich but if I were back in Brunswick, I might go back to try the chili cheese dogs.

    (3)
  • Georgia M.

They need to have a willies in nj! Best boneless porkchop sandwhich ever! Get it with everything they put in. Im never a fan of mustard but it taste awesome with it. Everything was well-seasoned. It comes with sweet tea, which just taste so refreshing. The sweetness is not so over bearing. Definitely a must have to cool you down.

  • Anthony S.

Me and the girlfriend have heard a lot about this little hole in the wall since we've moved here 3 months ago and decided to give it a shot. First off the menu was written on the wall which I thought was pretty neat, it reminded me of places in Colombia but I didn't like how there weren't any prices but no biggie. We both ordered their famous pork chop sandwich and were both very pleased and will be coming back more often!

    (4)
  • Tom B.

Only gets 3 stars because the the pork chop sandwich is a 5 star. Otherwise, nothing special about the hot dogs. The buns are very sub-par. Somebody mentioned the fries as hit or miss, well we had a miss. Will have to try the world famous steak sandwich and burger next time.

    (3)
  • Missie R.

Food was very good, made everyone in my family full and happy. We had the kiddie hot dog, a polish dog, slaw dog, steak sandwich, and tamales. Everyone loved their food. Already making plans to come back for lunch again tomorrow. Liked the outdoor picnic bench seating, perfect for large groups.

    (5)
  • Koty P.

Just tried it for the first time and the pork chop sandwich was everything they say it is and more! It was $8.95 for the sandwich, very good steak fries, and a sweet tea! Definitely recommend!

    (5)
  • James H.

I do not know why some refer to this place as a greasy spoon with greasy food. It is not either of those things. The Pork chop sandwich is famous for a reason, it's delicious and full of flavor and not greasy at all. The hot dogs are interesting. The dog itself is nothing to write home about but the toppings are what makes these things stand out. The Slaw Dog is wonderful and staff is very friendly and helpful. Maybe it's a hole in the wall but it's a damn good hole to fall into.

  • Stoker F.

If you've never been..... Skip the wieners, skip the burgers, go right for the pork chop sandwich . Whatever they ask you, just say yes! ( onions , mustard, etc) Do it with a tea ( sweet is redundant) Be forewarned. This combination is more memorable and addictive than your first Coney Island Dog. Years from now, someone will say "willie's pork chop sandwich" , and you'll start salivating. Don't say to weren't warned. The hotter the afternoon, the greater it tastes..

    (5)
  • Mary H.

I was at Willies yesterday for a pork chop sandwich. I have had much better sandwiches in the past. The meat was tough, overcooked and grisly. The french fries were not all the way done. If it had been my first time there I wouldn't go back.

    (3)
  • GC B.

Chili Dog, with Onions Mustard, Fries, Coke. Outstanding ! The slightly smokey generous sized dog, great chili sauce (with beans), and a hearty bun to hold the dog and generous amount of sauce. Sat at the picnic tables with the locals...fast friendly. worthy the detour from I -95 Next time I will have to try the Pork Chop Sandwich ( be sure to check out their Pork Chop Challenge)

Even though I grew up less than 10 miles away from Brunswick - somehow I never managed to try this place until after I had moved away. I'll never forget the day, I had driven five hours to visit my parents and was tired and hungry. It was July 13, 1998 and France had just beat Brazil 3-0 in the football World Cup final. I pulled into Willie's parking lot and less than 15 minutes later I took a bite of the most delectable sandwich I have ever tasted. Just kidding about the exact date - but I swear the moment felt prolific like that . . . It was a-MAH-zing. Lean, but juicy pieces of pork chop, onions sliced and sautéed to translucent perfection, topped with a soft Kaiser-like bun dressed lightly with yellow mustard. I'm not usually a fan of yellow mustard but - jeesh - this thing was delicious. Even though I've gone at least once a year since that first visit in '98, I've never had the fries or any of the hot dogs. It's always the world famous pork chop sandwich for me. I'm sure it's super fattening - but worth every cellulite dimple it might cause. I'm taking off a star because 1) I'm not a fan of the tea. The tea taste like its made from one of instant powders - adding brown sugar helps mask the taste but I'm still not a fan, 2) Again - it's about the tea. The sweetened tea isn't good and they don't offer unsweetened tea or anything low calorie except tap water. And anyone who comes from this area knows that you do NOT want to drink tap water in Brunswick, Ga or any of the surrounding areas. In this day and age of diabetes and sky high morbid obesity rates, unsweetened tea or some sort of diet beverage should be made available and 3) It's cash only. Lots of people don't carry cash anymore - it's inconvenient and just as risky (theftwise) - so getting a card-swipey machine is a no-brainer. That said - I'll be back the next time I visit Brunswick.

I grew up in Brunswick and love Willies. Each time I would come home to see family and friends, I would swing by Willies first. Priorities! The Pork Chop sandwich and Willie burger are my favorites.

NOW ACCEPTING CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS W/ $10 MINIMUM Being a Brunswick institution, you definitely feel among the locals at this place which is quite literally a shack on the side of the road. If you've never been here before, hang out in the wings for a minute and observe how it's done before you get up to one of the windows to order. With only one menu board outside with no prices and a few windows to choose from, it helps to get your bearings first. Part of the once completely outdoor seating area is enclosed and air-conditioned. The pick-up window is in there toward the back. There's no menu board inside so grab one of the brightly colored paper menus by the window (these have prices). All orders are written on a paper bag in which your order will be placed and given to you along with your drinks. Drinks or "tea" are included with most of the sandwiches but not the hot dogs. Salt/pepper, straws and napkins are all included in the bag. If you're dining in, ask for a bottle of ketchup for the table. They'll ask if you want "peppers" which means a small bag of pickled pepperoncinis (think Papa John's). These are complimentary. All the food is good, filling and relatively cheap. The pork chop and steak sandwich are both boneless, thinly-sliced and served on a standard hoagie roll. The hotdogs are served on sesame seed buns. Service is fast and the ladies are as sweet as the ice tea. I always leave this place wanting to quit my day job and open a hot dog stand...

This is the epitome of a hole in the wall, but damn I love it!!! ALL of the staff is super friendly, the food is cheap and GOOD!! I will definitely be coming back, and soon. I recommend the chili dog. Guuuuud!

Don't stand there stammering - "what do you want"? Willie's is a basic hot dog stand and part of the local culture. If you are in the area and want to soak up the local culture, this place is a must.

Willie's is a Brunswick classic and a MUST if you are traveling through the Golden Isles. The atmosphere is right out of an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives - why hasn't Guy been here, anyway? - and is part of the experience. The staff is friendly and, after repeated trips, will learn your name. There is an inner-seating area as well as outside. There is the option of calling in your order ahead of time as well, which is smart if you are taking the food home or coming during busy times (lunch, after school gets out around 3:30, and dinner time). The hot dogs are delicious, as is the fish sandwich. The "world famous" porkchop sandwich deserves its title. My personal favorite is the Big Willie Steak, a delicious steak sandwich. The Willie Burger is also popular, a double burger on a sub-style bun. The sweet tea is one of the best you'll find.

You know, I've been a good girl for three days now, and you know what I've learned from all of this? Being good sucks. Sometimes you gotta be bad. Realllllly bad. I've been eating salads flavored with chopped up pieces of steamed chicken breast and lemon juice. I've also had melon ball scoop-sizes of a few things here and there. All this healthiness makes me a real cranky pants kinda girl. Enter Wilie's Wee-Nee. Wagon, that is. What did I get? Do you not read these reviews? They said to get the the pork chop sammich! Holy crap. Sooooo good. Soft bread roll. Boneless pork chop that's so tender and contained very little fat. Mustard. Grilled onions. Sweet tea. Blech! Wait, take that out! Back to the pork chop! Yeah, it's nicely flavored, very tender and I'll be damned if I don't have one more before leaving the area. My partner ordered a dog of some sort and a bowl of chili. He said his stuff was better than he expected, but now he's all kinds a curious about the pork chop. There are picnic tables indoors and outdoors. It's just off of Altama and you can't miss the big sign that says, "Hot Dogs." To give you an idea, my order cost $5.60. If you'd like to add a side of fries, that'll cost you $1.90. The 8oz cup of chili is $3.50. Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-10pm Closed Sunday & Monday We WILL be back!

Great chili slaw dog and fries today. My first visit, but there will be more to come. Sampled my friends Willie burger and it was very good as well. The chili was very nice, and the slaw had just a hint of sweetness, just like I like it!!! I am still a Zesto devotee, but this dog was right there. I advise to check it out!!!!

Take it from a local, there's no better dog stand in America. Get the Porkchop or Steak sandwich (called the Big Willie) with a Willie Tea (sweet). Always comes with potatoes wedges that are so big your kids will need to use two hands to lift them. The seating ain't great, but who cares. Willie will pay you a two grand ($2k) cash if you can find a better porkchop sandwich in Glynn County. You won't.

I can remember when willie's first started ! It was in a little consession trailer parked where Duckworth Tires is now off Norwich steet....Been going there since I was a kid and love the hotdogs... Porkchop sandwich is good but I think anything with grilled onions is good !! Very Nostalgic if you grew up there !! I have lived away for years now but have experimented enough to dupilcate most of the menu ! Warning for newcomers ... Do not sit or lean on the picnic tables ! You will definitely get screamed at by the old woman !!! I heard that Willie died last year or the year before and the business was for sell .. RIP Willie I hope that it remains the same if it is sold.

Awesome. Pork chop sandwich w/cheese sweet tea and fries. All made fresh to order. Definite detour worth taking off 95 to do.

Have not been here in several years and still the best pork chop sandwich I've ever had. Guess that's why they offer you 5 grand if you can find a better one.. And yes the name still cracks me up... :)

Great little funky place. Pork chop sandwich is the best! Fries good too. Enough to share. Found this place on Yelp. Glad we tried it. Staying in area for a while. We'll definitely try to get back here.

Willie's boneless pork chop sandwich was incredible. Even better than I imagined. The atmosphere is hot dog standesque which was cool. I also had the Brunswick Dog. Really tasty, but you need to like onions because they are covered up. Highly recommend the pork chop sandwich.

This is a great place to go for a quick bite in between sightseeing. My fiancé and I had a willie dog and a pork chop sandwich; he loves pork chops, so this was a huge draw. It was delicious! We ate outside on a picnic bench on a sunny day in January.... it was pretty prefect.

  • Robert C.

Just tried it for the first time and the pork chop sandwich was everything they say it is and more! It was $8.95 for the sandwich, very good steak fries, and a sweet tea! Definitely recommend!

I was at Willies yesterday for a pork chop sandwich. I have had much better sandwiches in the past. The meat was tough, overcooked and grisly. The french fries were not all the way done. If it had been my first time there I wouldn't go back.

I love the Brunswick Dog, but honestly everything is good! The pork chop sandwich is a must try as well!

I'm giving this 4 stars just because one should experience Willie's at least once if in Brunswick often, for tradition's sake. The hamburgers are pretty good, the hot dogs are pretty good, the fries are not to my taste (big 'ol steak fries), and the pork sandwich is extremely salty, if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. However, the lady at the counter seemingly has been there for 30+ years (I only come at lunch), and it's a fun atmosphere and experience.

So many hot dogs, so little time...just ask them which one is the best and get 2.

I have been eating at Willie's ever since I was a child. Now that I live in Atl. I have family and friends bring me a pork chop sandwich every time they are coming to visit. This is truly my "FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT OF ALL TIME". If you are someone who does not like to experience location and complain about appearance don't go, but if you like good food it is a must if you are in the area.
