Ok so this place is what the name says it is... A "wee" pub it is very small pub that try's to pack tons of people into a very small joint on the weekends. Don't get in a hurry to get a beer here cause when it's packed you will wait for Christmas to come and go and you still won't have a beer in your hand. This place sucks cause if the size and I DO NOT recommend for anyone to go their. Oh and to add the bathroom are not clean at all and they are a 1 holer for both. If your looking for a good place to have a beer in all honesty you have to drive to sav or jax or go to the island where if you don't have money or pop you collar your an outsider.

I had lunch here while visiting my mom and stepdad, who live in Brunswick and are big Wee Pub fans. I was not disappointed -- from what I can tell, this place is doing it right. Delicious black-and-tan onion rings with a honey BBQ sauce that I could have eaten on pretty much anything. I had a bowl of tasty potato soup topped with bacon and cheese. My mom's turkey melt with cream cheese and pineapple was yummy, accompanied by house-made potato chips (always a treat). Not sure there are many places like this in Brunswick/St. Simons -- lots of TVs to watch sports, specials throughout the week and special events all the time... plus good food. What more could you want in a neighborhood pub?!?

Wasn't impressed at all. Food was so skimpy and greasy, the service was bad. They paid more attention to bar orders. Never came back to refill water either. I rather not pick a star, but have to to continue. It wasn't what I expected.

IMHO best wings in town. All you can eat wings and sides for $15 everyday. The lemon pepper, Thai and teriyaki are the best. This place beats out buffalo wild (by 10k miles), skinny Peres (by 100 miles) and yes, even brogans (by a slim mile). Also they have all u can drink for $24? on certain days. Staff is always attentive. Bar is awesome. This place is the place to be!!

My friends and I stopped here for a gathering. We all couldn't sit at the same table because it was too many of us. No worries! The big problem came when the waitress got our drink order then took off. It took her a while just to bring my table glasses of water. And then we had to ask her for a menu. Which took us a while to receive. Then we wanted to order a drink and that was a wait as well. She didn't check on our table. The other half if our party didn't have this issue. She kept checking on them and making sure everyone was fine. The service overall for us was not good. We expected more. The food was good. They have a wing special for .50 on Monday nights.

Irish girl biases to follow. I loved this cozy little bar, and I didn't 't even drink! They have very friendly bartenders, very good looking ladies*** back there chatting with all of the regulars, nice pour counts too. The menu features some Irish specialties like, inside out Ruben that has bacon, it's delis h. The shepards pie is home made and has a special down home country Irish feel to it. Atmosphere is cheerful and clean. I could stop in for lunch or spend awhile! # excellent

Traveling from Illinois to Florida. Got a hotel in Brunswick at 10pm. This was the only place open and willing to cook food. Great service and great late night menu. Not to mention only place catering to late night. Highly recommend

We've been here 4 times and no complaints. Everything we have had has been fresh and homemade. I can recommend the burgers, fish & chips, the Reuben, chicken wings, chicken strips, shrimp Alfredo, beer battered French fries Shepard's pie. Fair prices for real homemade food of quality. The Sirloin and the rib eye were of good size, good quality and cooked right -cheaper and far superior to the crap served just across the parking lot at the Longhorn chain of disaster. Only the Bangers and mash left me uninspired-it was just too bland for me. Friendly staff and attentive as long as you do not go during a big sporting event. Guinness on Tap- A nice change of pace and a highlight in the area. Don't forget the Irish can cook, it's the English that often need help.

Meh. Decent, though limited, pub grub, but nothing particularly Irish about the menu: nachos, artichoke dip, beer battered fries, burgers, fried cod. My wife said the burger was very good. Service is dodgy: there on a Saturday, and they were understaffed, 1 server & 2 bar staff for a near full room (server working at least 8 tables.) Opening on Sunday, it was 2&2, though we were the only people in the bar for 30 minutes. Waitress entered a medium burger as "no pink" though it was served slightly pink so that worked out. Drinks are expensive: $5.50 for a pint of Guinness (US pint, not a proper pint) and coffee & tea are both $2.49 per cup. Yes, per cup: no free refills, and even though I declined a coffee refill, I was charged for one anyway. Bottom line, not bad, but if I can find another place to watch Liverpool matches when I'm in Brunswick, I won't be back.

Not a bad place for a lunch. Good sandwiches I normally stop by here at least once when I'm in town.

Took my mother and mother-in-law there for lunch today. One of my favorite places since the food is always consistent. Two of us had the philly cheese sandwich with aujus and homemade chips and one had the meatloaf & mashed pot special. All was super tasty.

Really disappointed in a local favorite that came highly recommended. My first and last trip here and this is based on the food ordered. We ordered a burger and onion rings and what they claim is the best Reuben in town. The burger was dry and not very tasty. The reuben really was a disappointment in the meat was chewy and tough, not to mention they skimp on the amount of meat. It was underwhelming to look at. I expected mounds of thin sliced and delicious corned beef. The fries had a not so good seasoning and were soggy. I don't have the highest expectations of bar food but come on. I will go BWW next door next time.

Hmmmm.... So, we arrived in Brunswick from Savannah and we decided to go find lunch. A good Irish pub sounded perfect. When we got there, it was very quiet and there were two girls working both the floor and the bar. One girl had her act together, while the other was incredibly forgetful and disconnected from her work. It could have been a bad day for her, but her lack of caring about anyone except her regulars was annoying. When we got our crab dip app, we asked for plates which she promptly put out of her mind and forgot. We ended up asking the other girl, who was more than willing to help us out. Then we both ordered the Reverse Reubens from forgot-plate-girl, and we were sent out regular Reubens (other girl fixed). The girls talked to their regulars, but didn't attempt much conversation with others. The food was OK, but the whole experience was kind of disappointing, considering the great reviews we saw on Yelp prior to going.

Here's just one of the myriad reasons I love the gf: she suggested Wee Pub for lunch, Mind you, pubs and bars and such are not her usual haunts, as she doesn't drink much and loathes beer particularly. So this suggestion was a selfless gesture on her part. And a good one too. Wee Pub has the look and feel of a traditional pub, albeit one that seems spanking-new and clean, and modern. There's lots of polished wood and some decor to recall the Auld Sod. Dining tables skirt a full bar, above which several TVs hang for sports fans. They weren't busy when we entered, midday on a Thursday., so we chose a table at will. Emmy was along promptly to take our drink orders and inform us of the daily specials. The gf was driving, so she had a soda ($2.39); I opted for the pint of Guinness ($5.50). Both were fine of course. One of the Daily Lunch Specials ($4.99) was bangers & mash, which sounded good to me. The gf went for a steak salad ($8.99). We had not long to wait before our lunches arrived. The bangers & mash (sausages over mashed potatoes with gravy, for those unfamiliar) was tasty, and plentiful. A sprinkling of sauteed onions added flavor -- wisely, as the sausages themselves were on the bland side. The gf's steak salad, a generous portion, came with the steak strips well-done, as she requested, and the gf pronounced it as good as it appeared. In brief, we had a tasty and filling lunch in a pleasant place for a reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for more. And by the time I finished my Guinness, I loved the gf more than ever.

Wee Pub is in the Target Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Georgia Highway 25 Spur and Altama Avenue in Brunswick, GA. It has pub fare and Guinness on tap. Several TVs, tuned to the sport of the season. It's a great place for lunch, supper of relax on the weekend. The is a a lunch special every day, including Saturday and Sunday for $4.95 and/or $5.95. It is my favorite place to eat and relax in the Golden Isles of Georgia.
