This place is so good. I had driven past it several times and I finally went. I'm so glad I did. I got the jerk chicken sandwich and fried plantations. It was awesome. The plantains were the best I've had in this area. The owner is very nice and friendly. I recommend this place!

I must admit. I am addicted to this place. I eat here at least once a week, if not more. The jerk pork, curried goat, and oxtail are my favorite menu items but recently I have been sticking with their special of the day and am always amazed. Some of my favorite specials lately have been the jerked shrimp and grits, crab stuffed tilapia, and their Jamaican take of surf and turf. The specials usually range from $7.95-$9.95 and I am always amazed at the amount of food for the price. The only complaint I have heard is that there are bones in the chicken, goat and oxtail. Yes, there are, and as this doesn't bother me, if it bothers you I would suggest going with the pork or one of their many vegetarian options. This place is a must try for lunch or dinner in Downtown Brunswick!

Wow...this place was absolutely amazing. The food was more than excellent. It was heavenly. Nothing was to salty or over seasoned and the cabbage is the bomb!!!

You absolutely can't get a better meal for the price. I LOVE the jerk chicken plate. It comes with delicious beans and rice (I wish I could figure out exactly what makes it so good!), plantains and cabbage. The "express" portion is huge and around $6. The service is always friendly and there's a daily two-for-one Red Stripe happy hour. I love sipping a cold beer on the sidewalk table on a sunny day. So glad this place has moved downtown!

Called to place an order for delivery and I got "maybe, it depends on where we're going." I told her the destination and her reply was "no, we're not going over there." Ok?! I know being courteous to people is dead in Brunswick, but it carries over to businesses too?! I realize there could have been reasons as to why they wouldn't deliver, but I didn't get any explanation; just "no we're not going there."

I have eaten at the jerk shack in brunswick before, and the food was phenomenal! The jerk chicken and oxtail were delicious. I was sad to see the shack abandoned and in rubble one day when I was having a craving for some of the BEST chicken I have ever had. So I heard about this place and figured I would try it. And it's nearly the same as the shack was. Must go to place in brunswick!!!!!!!!

This place is absolutely delicious. It is excellent for a quick bite at lunch or a hearty meal at dinner. Most meats come with cabbage (very good), rice & beans, plantains, and cornbread, and you can order express, small, and large plates.Their obligatory jerk chicken is all kinds of good, and even with the "small" order you will not leave hungry. They also have salads and seafood dishes, which, except for a salmon special, I haven't tried yet because the chicken is so good.
