The first breath of icing filled air that I sucked into my lungs as I entered Hollaway's Bakery immediately added a pound or two to my thighs. Hollway's cakes, cookies and cupcakes taste just as good as they smell. I'm really shocked at how reasonable the price of their cakes are. I ordered a small chocolate cake for my mother's birthday and it was delicious. The yellow cake was moist and fresh. The icing just makes you want to go Yum, Yum. I also picked up some balloons and a birthday card for my mom while I was in the bakery. They sell all kinds of paper plates and other party accessories. Even though there are no warning signs posted outside of Holloway's this place is addictive. Holloway's is sure to give your taste buds a thrill.

I am home for a week and have just consumed 1/4 of a cake from Hollaway's with a side of extra icing. Yes, I get icing in a cup from Hollaway's because I love it. I have gotten the bulk of my birthday cakes, my wedding cake, my "I just pulled into town" cakes, etc from this fine establishment...and I will continue to do so until they close or I die.

The BEST and most unique cookies i've ever had. I've been coming here for the past 20 years and have to come back every time I go back home to visit. I call and ask at least once a year have they started delivering because this bakery is AMAZING

It's a classic bakery that anyone who has grown up in the Golden Isles has experienced growing up. Who hasn't had a birthday cake from Hollaway's at some point in their life? The prices are very reasonable, and the cake is always delicious. A note to Facebookers - "like" them on Facebook, as every day they have giveaways for cupcakes if you know a secret phrase or can answer a trivia question.

This bakery is just "OK" to me. There selections are always freseh but their cake/cupcakes are just average. Their icing is very sweet and the cake is just too soft/moist? I'm not sure how to describe it but it crumbles very easily. I much prefer Sugar Bakers to Holloways. As a matter of fact, I would rate Publix's bakery superior to Holloways.

Since moving to Seattle, WA from Georiga, I have a craving for Hollaway's cupcakes pretty much on a weekly basis. I've eaten baked goods from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and I assure you that there's no comparision to this place. As a kid, it was our tradition to get a birthday cake from Hollaway's every year. The cupcakes are my favorite treat...they're smaller than your typical cupcake, which means you get to eat 2 (one chocolate and one vanilla). Damn, it's cold and rainy right now in the PacNW. Will someone please fedex me a Hollaway's cupcake???!?!
