Some restaurants have good bbq but their sides are so so. Jim's knocks it out of the park on EVERYTHING including the homemade BBQ sauce which was amazing! The cole slaw was also very good. The French fries had the right amount of salt on them and they were fried perfectly. I split a BBQ pork sandwich with my mother and the pork melted in your mouth. I dare say that your BBQ is better than your competitor in Blue Ridge! Congrats on your bustling business. We will definitely be back!

I've been eating here since it opened, but I've been delinquent about writing a review. I came here a little after 11 am to stock up for the weekend, and the line was out the door. Guess its not a little secret anymore. Pulled Pork. This is the best example of Southern Pulled Pork you will find - juicy, tender, and flavorful. Beef Brisket. First off, this is not Texas brisket. I like that as well, but brisket is done differently in the South. I love both. However, this is one of the finest of Southern brisket. Just like the pulled pork, its juicy tender, and flavorful. It is chopped, not pulled or sliced. Smoked Turkey. Forget get that old dry stuff. This is smoky juicy goodness. No sauce required. Ribs.Sweet tangy sauce over perfectly cooked ribs. Half a rack is enough for two. Brunswick Stew. Full of flavor, meat, and just enough corn and tomato chunks. Add a little hot sauce if you like it spice. Sweet Potato Fries. This is how its done - salt, brown sugar and a touch of cinnamon. Sauces. Something for everyone - Butt Sauce (original), Kicking Butt Sauce (a little zippy), and the Special Reserve. Don't forget the rolls. They're baked for them.

Yummy good barbecue. Friendly service. Family owned & operated. We were lucky enough to score the last rack of ribs... Get there early it gets busy. Great sides too. Worth the drive from wherever.

The best beef brisket in the world. Great pulled pork. The butt sauce is amazing!

Jim has now topped any previously ranked "Best BBQ" places in Georgia. You might actually swoon, it's so good. Worth the drive, and worth the wait. I highly recommend the ribs and the brunswick stew, but it is all good. Most menu options are easily enough food for 2 people! Important tips: only open 3 days a week. Always a good idea to call and order ahead, because the often run out of food. Also, they tend to take off a few weeks in July or August each year - in general make a habit of calling ahead. They do not update the voicemail or put out a sign when they run out of food, so don't ever assume it's open.

Amazing brisket and the sweet potato fries are the bomb! I have yet to have anything bad from there and doubt I ever will. Always nice to share a table with strangers and end up having great conversation along with great food.

Best BBq Everywhere! Great food. Do not go anywhere else!!!

Really, really good BBQ. We had the pulled pork and beef brisket and they were both excellent. Must try this place if you are in north Georgia

  • Teddie B.

We were there also around 6:30 pm and had the turkey sandwiches since that was all they had left. It was the best turkey sandwich ever! And their "sauce" was superb !

  • Joe D.

We went at 6 pm on Saturday night only to find they had run out of all meat dishes except for smoked turkey. We had two sandwiches with thick slices of real turkey breast. Excellent.

  • Jamie C.

This is some of the best BBQ I have had. The pulled pork sandwich is enough for two meals. The meat is lean, tender and tasty. You really dont need sauce the meat is so flavorful but the sauce has such a great combination of sweet and tang you will want it. The bun of the sandwich has a nice chew to it. The french fries were crispy on the outside with a nice potato taste and texture. The cole slaw is the perfect accompaniment.

This place is has some good pork and stew. The crazy thing is that they sell their meat by the pound - even for sandwiches. So be prepared to eat a lot or take some home. The pork was moist and BBQ sauce was really good. I should have bought some. Even selling the meat by the pound the prices are very reasonable. The Brunswick stew was really good too. Overall this is an above average stop. Like I said though, bring your appetite. You'll need it. After we ordered, the lunch crowd came. The order line stretched into the parking lot. So obviously a lot of people know about it. The service though was quick. So no complaints. Good place.

Best BBQ in the area, by far. The lines always out the door, but it's well worth the wait. I usually go for the pork sandwich, but the ribs are great too.

  • Jason K.

Best BBQ in Georgia! Planned on going here all day and made it in around noon on a Saturday. Service was fast and friendly and the food was better than expected. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich plate with a side of brunswick stew and cole slaw. Brunswick stew was flavorful and meaty with chunks of pulled pork galore. Cole slaw was perfectly seasoned and refreshing. The pork sandwich was on a perfectly chewy roll which held up well against the pile of tender, smoky pork and a healthy squirt of all three sauces. Excellent experience.

Great BBQ & the owners are awesome! We're from Charleston, SC and were in town for a wedding, so glad we stopped here!

  • Emily S.

Best BBQ around! I've never had anything on the menu that isn't amazing! The Brunswick Stew is the best! Turkey, ribs, chicken, potato salad, slaw, banana pudding, chocolate delight...it's a tough choice!! Make sure you go early since they only make a certain amount and do run out!

I flew down to ATL to visit the hubby while he was on business for a couple of weeks. HAD to get out of the metroplex for a day and we headed north. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers (hugs!), we found this awesome joint. We pulled in just after 11am on a Saturday and after reading some reviews, I knew this place was going to get busy so we skedaddled right on in. When barbeque is for lunch, well...anytime is the right time to eat! And when it's this good? Bonus! Seriously good pulled pork that just buried my roll. Sides were beans and slaw - both very tasty. But you know what really blew my socks off? Jim's wife (sorry, her name is escaping me right now) gave us some smoked turkey to try. Holy hannah was that good! Juicy, smoky, tender. Just incredible. There are two sauces created by Jim and made for him now. A traditional sweeter sauce and one with a nice (but not incendiary) kick. You can buy bottles to take home. Now this sounds weird, but take a minute to look at the furniture - much of it was made by Jim - he's an interesting guy to talk to and has had many careers over the years. Great food, wonderful folks, fun atmosphere. And the place was HOPPING by the time we left - that really says it all.

At Brasstown Valley Resort for weekend, a friend told us about Jim's, drove over Saturday for lunch. We arrived to a line out the door. Ordered a pulled pork plate and rack of ribs. Food was amazing. Ribs were meaty, just excellent. We loved their bbq sauces. Great service, friendly servers and staff. We are already planning another trip up there.

  • Gary H.

Wow...it is true you can smell their "butts" (pork smoking) a mile away. Very nice family run business. Great ribs...but get there early they do run out! Everything including the bread is home made..,,yum yum.

The baby back ribs were wonderful!!! Workers were nice!!! Pretty busy but well worth it.....

I am in town for the first time and heard they had a few BBQ places here that might be good. as you see from my profile, i am always looking for another great place. My hunger is growing as i look through Yelp's ratings and i choose Jim's Smokin Que. It had some mixed reviews but rated higher that others but my craving was growing I arrive 30 minutes before closing time. "Which was 8pm". Wy close so early? As i smell the BBQ when i enter the stomach starts to growl with anticipation. I patiently wait to order then the girl tells me " They were out of Ribs and out of Chicken." Wtf, your a BBQ place with no meat. it was nit even crowded. But i guess without meat people don't stay long. I will not waste my time if I am in the area again.

Absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I have visited the north Georgia mountains for our anniversary for the last 2 years and this restaurant has been one of the highlights of both trips. The ribs are fall off the bone and don't even need sauce. The pulled pork is also so tender and fantastic. The portions are very generous so either order half as much as you think you need or plan on taking some delicious leftovers home. Get there early, once an item is gone, it's gone (no Brunswick stew this year). There is a bit of a wait, but when the weather is nice, and the food is that good, it's worth it.

  • Nicki A.

What else needs to be said? The best beef brisket! The Brunswick stew is fantastic. And save room for the banana pudding!

  • Michael F.

best barbecue I've ever had! and by a WIDE margin. very generous portions, great prices. (check the other reviews for more practical information, this review is just glowing exuberance) for 2-4 people I recommend getting the platter that comes with 2 pounds of meat - do the ribs and the pork, and for sides, do the cole slaw and baked beans. the ribs were the best I've ever had. (please excuse my superlatives, I really mean them.) douse everything with their house made sauce (the "special reserve" variety especially). can't emphasize how delicious that was! so content right now. thrilled even. be aware that you'll have to wait in line. but the wait wasn't that bad at 6 on a Thursday (20 mins?). in any case, I'd wait an hour or two for this stuff. it's fantastic! dreamy! and oh so tender!

  • Cary W.

Bit of a wait to get in, but worth it. Got the usual - pulled pork sandwiches and sides (baked beans, potato salad, brunswick stew and "chocolate delight"). Meat was quite good, and seriously the sandwich is big enough to split. They have their buns specially made - looks sorta like a bread canoe - which does its job well, holding all the bbq in. We really enjoyed the sauce, too. Brunswick stew was nicely traditional (many places seem to want to put their own twist on it, and not to great effect), potato salad had a nice balance of mayo (not too wet), chocolate delight is an odd mash of chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream in a bowl. If you like chocolate, you won't complain. Worth driving out of the way, and worth waiting in line.

Honestly the food was tasty and atmosphere is a country BBQ place however last visit my Moms chicken leg was RAW on the inside and I had a nice long hair in my coleslaw... Yikes!! Won't be back.

Jim's Smokin Que is a breath of fresh air. We came here from Vogel State Park from up the road. We'd asked a Ranger there about Jim's, and he chuckled and said he'd "hurt himself there." We took that as a good sign The owners seem to know more than half of everyone that comes in, and those they didn't, they met soon. The facilities were clean and well kept. We had the pulled pork and the baked beans. The pulled pork was dry enough such that it wasn't too moist, but moist enough that it wasn't too dry: goldilocks BBQ. The baked beans were good: slightly spicier than many recipes. They have sweet sauce and spicy sauce, and they're some of the best I've had- not too sweet that the meat doesn't shine through, yet both with a solid spicy undercurrent to them. I heartily recommend Jim's. It's a great place to "hurt yourself" on fantastic BBQ!

  • Leslie S.

Hands down the best ribs my husband and I have ever tasted. We spent the morning hiking at Vogel State Park and then wanted some good local food, The park ranger said Jim's was good so we gave it a whirl. It did not disappoint, very cute clean place with friendly staff. Another reviewer said the ribs were fatty but that wasn't our experience at all. The baked beans were great and the sweet potato fries are the bomb. This place is a keeper for future visits to the mtns, you must go here. Sadly they are only open Thurs, Fri and Sat so plan accordingly.

After hearing all the raves and reading the stellar reviews, we made the jaunt to Blairsville to try Jim's ourselves. Having eaten the BBQ offered in our town and vicinity, we are still looking for Que that can beat a little hole in the wall joint down in florida, just north of Hollywood Beach where we've vacationed numerous times, called...I think...Charlies, who had the most succulent, delicious brisket you can imagine. Unfortunately, Jim's fell short of that criteria, but the brisket was ok and the sauces were tasty. The staff friendly and the place was clean. We'll probably go back to try the pork. I can't find Charlies online so I guess it's not there anymore, but it was run by a fella, I think he was west indian, maybe Jamaican and the BBQ was to die for. I'll keep looking for BBQ to compare with that, although it may be a stretch. I gave Jim's a 3 because it's good or better than most of the other bbq places we've tried down here.

  • Samantha B.

Not gonna lie this place is amazing! It doesn't look like much - but it's always packed & sells out of food! We are staying in town on vacation & looked this up on yelp... Went in - friendliest people ever! I asked for some onion & she gave me a a whole onion! It was awesome (we had food to go) The only negative we could say was their sauce is not the best - but even amazing sauce cannot fix bad meat & this is literally best BBQ meat we've ever had!!! We are BBQ lovers (even had it at our wedding) and we have eaten it all over the world - this meat was top 3 of our life!

  • Kerry M.

This place is doing an excellent job of serving tasty animals. The portions are HUGE, the sauce is awesome, and the brunswick is as good as it gets away from my own kitchen. I usually have to add meat and sauce to brunswick to get it to my liking. No need here, no room for more meat. The sandwich comes on a football shaped seemingly home made bun that has enough strength to make the perfect mitt for a softball sized sandwich. This place is definitely in the top 5 I have ever had regarding BBQ. Cannot wait to return and try more menu items. Only negative was the meat was slightly greasy, but not to so much as to detract heavily from my sandwich... : ) Will RETURN FOR SURE!

  • Greg C.

Been to Jim's a few times and the BBQ is awesome! Great place, a bit crowded but he is only open 3 days a week so everyone is waiting to get their fill! Will definitely be back.

The Real Deal. Just delicious. I stumbled on to this place during a day trip up to the North Georgia mountains, and I am glad I did. Everything I had here was fantastic. This is BBQ how it's meant to be. But unlike authentic BBQ joints, this place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was great. It came on a great soft bun with a ton of pork. They have this sweet BBQ sauce they make called "Butt Sauce" that is just ridiculously good. I couldn't drench enough of it my sandwich. The baked beans were really tasty too. They had some sort of pepper (I think) mixed in which gave them a really unique and delicious flavor. Normally I can't stand when people call BBQ "Que", but I'll look the other way in this case. If you are anywhere up near the Blairsville or Brasstown Bald Mountain area, give this place a try.

Wonderful BBQ. You will leave full! I love stopping here for lunch during a mountain run on one of the motorcycles.

This place is consistent on their cooking, service, freshness of their food. Love their beef brisket Sandwich, the best to my taste that I have eaten. Their Brunswick is out of this World, that is the most have when I'm here. Their fried sweet potatoes with brown sugar & Cinnamon is a must order item for us. ( they deep fried when order) This time Wife order half rack of Ribs and they where juice, full of meat, well caramelized to top it off. Did not needed any sauce what so ever to enrich their flavor. Kudos for this well great lunch that we had :-)

  • Chris B.

This is one of the best BBQ places I have found. They have great Brunswick Stew, which is hard to find in Florida. Which is My home state. It is clean and has a friendly staff. Bring cash they do not take credit or debit cards. It is open Thursday through Saturday and you are going to have to wait in line to get in.

    (5)
  • Roz S.

It's a tiny restaurant out of nowhere. Country with patio furniture type dinning but Ohhh sooo good. Got to be the best bbq I've had ever. Their ribs are delicious on its own but add a little of that bbq sauce they give you and it's even more divine. Food is cheap too! I think we paid $24 for my husband and I :)

    (5)
  • Greg B.

We had a rack of ribs and sweet potato fries. Simply incredible. Passing through Georgia, my wife and I drove a hour out of our way to go to Jim's.

  • Stephanie J.

Best BBQ Sauce I've ever tasted! Jim's is only open Thursday to Saturday and they frequently run out of items on their menu. You can call ahead and order for pickup to ensure you get what you want. Great food and service!

  • Brenda S.

Tasty, moist, pork barbecue with three excellent sauces to choose from. Cold, fresh cole slaw. Crispy, salty fries. Fresh air seating. Friendly service. Good prices. More than we could finish. What more could you ask for? Also have ribs and chicken on the menu if you're askin for more :)

  • Micki G.

Love, love, love! The best BBQ in North Georgia! I'm now spoiled for anyplace else. They are only open on certain days, and you have to get there or order earlyish, before they run out of things, but it's worth scheduling your vacation week around those things, for sure. The variety of sauces are all great, but I especially love the vinegar- based sauce. The meat itself is amazing... Perfectly cooked, tasty, tender and they give you a huge portion.

    (5)
  • Jason W.

We had the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Both Brisket and Pork had great taste and tenderness, friendly people and great service!

    (5)
  • Mark J.

Well worth my two hour drive! I'm a big boy and I had trouble finishing the pulled pork sandwich.. The meat is cooked to perfection and pulled into thumb-sized plugs. It's moist and flavorful enough to eat with no sauce, but I was fond of the sweet/spicy vinegar. The sandwich roll was delicious, it tasted homemade and was formed like a pouch-the perfect shape to hold in all that delectable meat. The sides were great, and we topped off with a delicious serving of banana pudding. This is truly a special place that you need to experience if you love barbecue. It is for good reason that Jim's Smokin Que is ranked nationally among the best barbecue places in the country.

  • Jenn R.

This place is still my absolute favorite barbecue restaurant. I really enjoy the pulled pork but like the brisket and chicken too. The owners are the best and go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is perfect!

  • Yisi L.

Oh my... I felt so lucky that I found this place!! Best ribs ever!! The ribs are cooked tender and juicy, with the wonderful smoke flavor. You're gonna lick your fingers! I love their bbq sauces too, just balanced to perfect.

    (5)
  • James A.

It is worth the trip if you like bbq. Every item was exactly to my taste and to the taste of our entire group. Even the take out packaging for our meals was exactly usable without any additional items. We literally took the ribs,, brisket, pork and sides back to our cabin and pigged out! Even their sauces were spot on. Loved it all!

    (5)
  • Jacie P.

Totally worth the drive and the wait, I have the brisket platter, the meat was seasoned well and the sweet BBQ sauce was delicious! I had a side of beans, the meal was priced well and the service was excellent, perfect place to get your southern, down home BBQ!

  • Amy S.

My husband and I were passing through on the way to Hiawassee for a weekend getaway last weekend. We are huge BBQ fans and love trying out different spots to find our next favorite. I read the reviews on my phone's Yelp app and plugged in the address to our GPS. I had the ribs with potato salad, a small slab of brisket, and banana pudding. Though it was too much food for one sitting (I love having leftovers). It was all so delicious! My husband had bbq pork sandwich with baked beans. He said this was the best bbq he's ever had. Now, I've had a lot of great bbq so I wouldn't necessarily say it was *the* best, but it was definitely far up there. If it wasn't two hours away, we'd probably make it a regular. His family wants to do a cabin weekend so he wants me to schedule it around Blairsville so we can go back. Does that tell you just how good it was? It really was great! Perfect amount of tenderness and I will give them the prize for their bbq sauce -- we purchased two bottles worth on our way out. All the food was really good. Probably the most unique baked beans I've ever had, I wonder what spices they use.... it was very tasty! Atmosphere: very casual!

One of the best Bar-B-Q places in Georgia. It is in extreme north North Georgia but worth the drive. We tried it after reading reviews off different sites and so glad to have tried it. The side items are about average except for the Brunswick stew which is one if the best i have tried with actual smoked meat in it. The meats are extraodinary and I do not recall having a better smoked turkey. We have tried the turkey, brisket and pork and have enjoyed them all. My family likes the Butt Sauce but I prefer the Special Reserve sauce or even without sauce it is so good. It is open Thursday to Saturday, and be prepared for a line but it is worth the wait

  • Keith M.

We ate here and the food is awesome. Prices are very reasonable, and the pulled pork sandwich is the biggest that I've ever seen. No Joke, if you're not famished, split the sandwich and sides. The people are really friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone, including my worst enemy! lol For under 10 bucks you will walk out of there staggering. And btw, make sure you get some 'nanner puddin' ya'll!

My wife and I went to Jim's today for the first time. We go far and wide for good BBQ and today we discovered the BEST BBQ we have ever eaten. Brisket and ribs were mouth watering with just the right amount of smokey flavor. Large portions and friendly staff.

  • John F.

I really wanted to like this place. The staff is so friendly and the down home atmosphere is inviting. We sat out on the front porch to eat and it was a beautiful day. But it comes down to food eventually. Two of us had ribs and they were just so fatty, Nice char on the ribs, nice sauce selection but the ribs had more fat than meat. One in our party had the turkey sandwich and the turkey had a nice flavor and was moist. The sides we chose - baked beans seemed overcooked and had no flavor until I added some barbecue sauce to them - the macaroni salad was good made with small shell pasta and included green olives. I would not return sadly.

"Truly a barb-e-licious treasure!!! Seriously though, an awesome mom and pop place, with great food and nice decor. The hubby and I shared the half rack ribs meal, half chicken plate, and 4 different sides. Everything was yummy. I left a happy pig!"

We found this place late on Friday and it was amazing! They are only open Thur/Fri/Sat so we only had them once on the trip; I wish I could have had more! The Pulled Pork was the best I have ever had!

  • Jim S.

I am a 6th generation southerner and this is the best bbq I've ever eaten. period. The turkey is moist and sweet, their signature sauce is the best. We will drive 2 hrs for a bbq dinner from this place. If you are in the area it is a must visit if you like bbq. The place is small and the lines are often long to place your order, but it is worth the wait. If you are camping at Vogel State Park this is only a few minutes away. Only open Thursday-Saturday.

  • Collins B.

Great pulled pork, generous serving. Sauce wasn't as spicy as I'd like but it didn't matter because it was so damn good. I didn't notice if they had slaw, it would have been a great side, but the beans were good enough. My buddy had the brisket and he gave it the thumbs up as well.

    (5)
  • Greg P.

When it comes to BBQ, Jim's nails every recipe from pork ribs, to a better-than your Momma's recipe for BBQ brisket. Price is perfect for family dining, and children's meals were served quickly, with a variety to choose from. Brunswick stew left us craving more with juicy combo of brisket, pulled pork and all of bbq meats into ONE stew!

  • Nancy S.

Great barbecue! My husband had the half portion of ribs and he couldn't eat it all. He said that it was the best barbecue that he had ever eaten and we are from Texas where they make great barbecue. Everyone was very pleasant and the lady delivering the food was very friendly. I had the brisket sandwich and it was so much food that I had two meals off of it and it was great, too. The owner stopped by the table and checked on us. The new chocolate dessert was okay, but I've had better.

Absolutely the greatest bar-b-que I have ever had the pleasure of eating, ever!!! The pulled pork sandwich is to die for. The pork was so delicious that it would be great to eat even without bar-b-que sauce. Just amazing!! My wife had the baby back ribs and they were the best she's ever had, hands down. The meat was nice and thick & juicy, not dried out with barely any meat on the bone. They also have these absolutely amazing sweet potato fried sprinkled with cinnamin & sugar that are better than any treat let alone fries that I've ever eaten. The peanut butter pie is just as fantastic as everything else. We drove 45 minutes each way to Jim's and I would drive 3 times that distance to eat here. DON"T MISS IT! Also, the place is very clean and casual and the staff could not be more pleasant. Thanks goes out to all of the ladies & guys of Jim's Smokin' Que. We owe you a debt of thanks.

Went with 12 guys and had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had! Jim was friendly and accommodating, the place was full of customers and had a great "back country" BBQ place feel. Fantastic place. Don't miss it!

  • Eric E.

Wow. Amazing bbq! Great service with a smile at the best little roadside stop in the Blairsville area. And the "butt sauce" is great or try the "kickin butt sauce" if you like it hot. A must stop. I will be back!

  • Mike S.

I'm a BBQ snob, and Jim's is in my top 5. Great pulled pork, lean but not dry with a deep smoke flavor. Good sauce (i went with the hot) and seved on a nice soft roll. Beans and slaw were good, not great. Very nice people, you could do surgery in their open kitchen. A nice surprise on the way to Blairsville.

Best BBQ AND Ribs in all of N. GA. They are open Thur, Fri and Sat only. So plan ahead. The BBQ sandwich and sweet potato fries are big enough to split with a friend. But if your real hungry, order one for yourself. Say hi to Jim and Donna, owners - They are the best.

  • Ken H.

My wife and I eat here several times a month and it is the best Bar B Que in north Georgia. It is a family run business and the pride they take in this restaurant is obvious. It is clean, well kept and the food is excellent. I would suggest Jim's without hesitation.

This is the best barbeque this side of "Sugar's" in Chattanooga. The ribs are awesome, lots of meat, amazing smoked pork & the brisket is awesome-- much better than Rib Country or any other bbq restaurant in the area. It's a couple of miles So. of Blairsville on the left, a little red building. Don't look like much, but well worth the trip to the mountains! Only open Thurs., Fri., & Saturday 11 a.m. til 8 p.m.

We had a rack of ribs and sweet potato fries. Simply incredible. Passing through Georgia, my wife and I drove a hour out of our way to go to Jim's.

Best BBQ Sauce I've ever tasted! Jim's is only open Thursday to Saturday and they frequently run out of items on their menu. You can call ahead and order for pickup to ensure you get what you want. Great food and service!

We had the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Both Brisket and Pork had great taste and tenderness, friendly people and great service!

Amazing brisket and the sweet potato fries are the bomb! I have yet to have anything bad from there and doubt I ever will. Always nice to share a table with strangers and end up having great conversation along with great food.

Really, really good BBQ. We had the pulled pork and beef brisket and they were both excellent. Must try this place if you are in north Georgia

Wow...it is true you can smell their "butts" (pork smoking) a mile away. Very nice family run business. Great ribs...but get there early they do run out! Everything including the bread is home made..,,yum yum.

    (5)

Oh my... I felt so lucky that I found this place!! Best ribs ever!! The ribs are cooked tender and juicy, with the wonderful smoke flavor. You're gonna lick your fingers! I love their bbq sauces too, just balanced to perfect.

  • C M.

  • Peter Y.

We were there also around 6:30 pm and had the turkey sandwiches since that was all they had left. It was the best turkey sandwich ever! And their "sauce" was superb !

  • Mike W.

Only open Thurs., Fri., & Saturday 11 a.m. til 8 p.m.

  • Jacie P.

Totally worth the drive and the wait, I have the brisket platter, the meat was seasoned well and the sweet BBQ sauce was delicious! I had a side of beans, the meal was priced well and the service was excellent, perfect place to get your southern, down home BBQ!

  • Donna L.

Been to Jim's a few times and the BBQ is awesome! Great place, a bit crowded but he is only open 3 days a week so everyone is waiting to get their fill! Will definitely be back.

  • Clark G.

We found this place late on Friday and it was amazing! They are only open Thur/Fri/Sat so we only had them once on the trip; I wish I could have had more! The Pulled Pork was the best I have ever had!

Tasty BBQ. I like North GA BBQ Better, but this place is still very good. Super clean. Smoke smell is awesome. I will go there when I am Blairsville.

Wow. Amazing bbq! Great service with a smile at the best little roadside stop in the Blairsville area. And the "butt sauce" is great or try the "kickin butt sauce" if you like it hot. A must stop. I will be back!
