BFB!!! (you can figure that out on your own) in the CSRA bar none, too easy, go here, get fat, so delicious! I ate here today and yesterday because their burgers ( i get the double) are fantastic! Best burger i've had within 1650 miles of Evans for sure (theres an IN N Out in Tucson). I've been bitching about the weak burgers in Augusta for months, now I can STFU for real. This is one of those type of places where you keep eating past full, like borderline barf status, and waddle your fat ass (or soon to be fat ass) back to your car. Why? Because their burgers are big, juicy, and taste fackinawesome. They taste like angels in your mouth! Fat burger angels! In your mouth! The fries aren't too bad either, so get some of those too. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the dumpy factors involved. The place from the outside looks more like a hardware store, I don't even think they even have a sign attached to the building that says Gary's. And the interior, not so hot either. All the seats look like they barely survived a Quentin Tarantino film. And some of the workers there, kinda creepy, like Carny creepy. Oh well, DAMN good burgers, go eat!

We have eaten at the other Gary's locations, but this one is different. 50's style decor is like stepping back in time when life's pace was different. Baby Boomers will get it. The good is good and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant proudly displayed its "A" rating. It might be joined with a gas station, but we'll be back.

I ordered a 2/3lb burger in the drive through and had to reiterate my order here times. By the time j got to the window the short girl working the drive thru was more interested in talking to a friend at the counter than she was about talking to me. I Waite almost 10 minutes on one burger and there were no dining customers in the restaurant. I also had time to type this. She's also walking around the kitchen with her personal drink in hand doing NOTHING! I've worked F&B before but this is rediculous! Do your job!!!

Nothing special here. For a place that claims to offer home made burgers, I'm not impressed. My double bacon burger was over cooked and dry. The patty did not have any flavor. The fixings on the burger wer plentiful. The fries are boring. The french fries do not stand out. They remind you of the frozen store brand french fries you would find at any supermarket. Overall it is not a terrible choice for lunch, but if I really wanted a good burger there are better choices available.

It's one of my favorite burger spots. They never disappoint. I'm also a big fan of their breakfast. The biscuits are so good. Customer service is great. Just know that this site says they open at 0630, the sign at this l0ocation says 0700 and on Sundays they open at 0730.

If the attitudes of the drive through and its employees were slightly better Id give it more stars. Burgers are always great! But the people here are not friendly at all.

I really like the way this restaurant is decorated. It is in 50's diner-style and it's really cool. I think all the other restaurants they have in the CSRA should follow its lead. The staff was really friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. The cook in the back said he would hook us up and hook us up is what he did. He made us really great chef salads. It was full of meat and all the other ingredients to make a great salad. It was very tasty. I haven't tried anything else from the location but I'm sure I will one day. I will definitely be back here to dine.

Decided to get some burgers after a long day at the park with the family. We opted to go to Gary's burgers on Wheeler Rd, the place is connected to a gas station. We went through the drive-thru due to our daughter being fussy and order some bacon cheese burgers and fries/onion rings. Let's start with burgers, they were over cooked and too dry, thought this place was cooked to order didn't ask how we liked our burgers cooked. The fries were cold and not salted, the onion rings were warm and pretty good. Make sure if you order a drink, up size it too a larger one the regular size is a bit small. Haven't tried the Gary's on Washington road, we won't be ordering any more burgers from this location. Given this burger joint 2 stars, just because the onion rings were tasty.

Good burger joint. I was hoping for fat crinkle fries but the ones they have were just as good Kinda spendy for a burger but was way better than 5 guys, mcdonalds are similar places. Drinks are pretty small, so if you get it to go, you might want to consider upsizing your drink.

Good burgers. Love the fact they have a drive threw and I don't have to go inside to order. Easy menu to read and great service. Pricing isn't to bad either. I'm a big bacon cheeseburger eater. They are a little slow. But that comes with burgers being cooked to order.

The food is good. But do not try to eat it inside or you will lose your appetite. This place needs some serious cleaning. Everything is sticky with grease. We were dining with an 11-month-old baby. She was quite content eating her fries off the table when one of the employees (an older woman-- maybe a manager?) walked by and told us she'd be better off with a plate and brought us one. Which of course she wasn't. Babies think plates are toys. Whether she was worried about the baby making a mess or about the cleanliness of the table, I don't know. But we had wiped off the table with a baby wipe beforehand, and I'm more inclined to think it was the latter. That baby wipe came back brown and nasty. If the dining room is that bad, I hate to think what might be in the kitchen. Clean it up, Gary's. I'm going to Five Guys next time.

This little place that you'll miss if you are flying down Washington Rd. is really a hidden gem when in the midst of all the fast food burger joints around. Sure, you have to wait a few minutes to get your food after your order through the drive thru, but that's because you can tell they are making your food made-to-order. The burgers taste like burgers, not like mystery meat at some of the other places. I've only gotten the hamburgers here (and fried okra too), but I always think that it takes like I grilled them at home and slapped them together. Definitely a difference than the prepackaged/preprepared McDonald-like burgers. As far as the fried okra goes too, it's always so tasty and they give you a good portion. I've been to some other joints, paid $3-4 for some okra and gotten like 10 pieces. You can tell Gary's Hamburgers has been around for a while and why is that? Because they have quality food!

I'm in Augusta visiting my sister and had a rare craving for a REAL burger, not some prefab frozen fast food funk. Let me tell ya, Gary's more than met my very high expectations. The place was packed which is usually a good sign and the girls at the counter were very friendly if a bit amused at our excitement to eat a handmade burger. We sat down and eagerly awaited our 1/3 lb burgers, fries, onion rings and fried okra. Yeah yeah yeah. Sometimes you just gotta have a big plate of fried. This is not fast food, so you'll wait a little while for your order. It's worth it. Oh, heaven. The burgers were clearly hand formed, all uneven and crisp on the edges. Just how a good burger should be. Veggies were fresh- patty was thick and flavorful and satisifying. I was thrilled and so was my sister. The fried stuff was all frozen, but I'm okay with that cause the burgers were definitely NOT. I want to go back and try the chicken fingers which are hand breaded.., I would give it five stars if the fried stuff wasn't frozen, but that will not deter me from heading back there before I leave to add some more heft to my hips.
