Who knew? I've live in Grant Park since the late 90s and I just found Ziba's. Great prices, cute atmosphere, really good wine choices, and the small plates were amazing. Best crab cake I've had probably ever. Give it a try. Yes, the portions aren't huge but do you really need to over eat when you dine out?

What a great place, really. We hosted a sparkling wine tasting here for the girls. They are usually closed on Sundays, but opened for us, which was great. We paid $27 per person and tried 7 sparkling wines with a variety of normal but yummy appetizers to pair (crab cakes, hummus, cheeses, etc.). The sparkling wines were all super different and delicious, and the owner hosted us. She was terrific, telling us about each wine, and instead of giving us tiny amounts of each wine, she poured, but then left us the bottle to finish. It was a terrific experience in a super cute area, and I highly recommend going for wine, food, and a generally great time.

They no longer serve hookah. So, kind of no reason for us to go here ever again. Still love the servers there though!

I've been wanting to try Ziba's since moving into the neighborhood, but it wasn't until tonight that I was able to test out their excellence. The restaurant has three sections...bar (filled with comfy chairs), indoor seating and a small front patio. Each area is ideal for a few friends or large group. Note...there's only street parking, but you shouldn't have an issue with finding a spot. If you have to walk a bit...just take in the beautiful Grant Park neighborhood. Food - The menu is split up into small plates, bigger bites, soups & salads, sandwiches and desserts. We started off with the hummus, which came with olives, pita and veggies. So fresh and delicious that I wanted to lick the plate clean. As for entrees...we all ordered something different...some got sandwiches, some lasagna, but I went with the roasted beet salad (goat cheese, baby arugula, mixed lettuce & toasted walnuts) and the Flatbread (artichoke hearts, feta, black olives, scallions & tomato) small plate. We ended the meal with flan. Everyone was very happy. Drinks - impressive wine list and a pretty large amount of specialty cocktails. I highly suggest you try the Ginger Collins (lemons, oranges, ginger syrup & Vodka). It's a delicious, refreshing lemonade with a kick. They also have a full bar...in case you're a scotch on the rocks kind of drinker. Service - two thumbs up! We were greeted by Marcie, the owner, at the door. She is the reason why I love local restaurants in Atlanta. Her passion and love for Ziba's is incredible. She's also there every night...that's dedication. Hours - Mondays - closed (this is their day of rest...well deserved!) Tuesday - Saturday from 5-10p Sunday brunch from 9a-3p and dinner from 5-10p Bonus - they have chocolate chip pancakes with strawberry champagne syrup and whipped cream on their brunch menu. C'mon...need I say more? Overall...I highly recommend Ziba's. It truly is one of Grant Park's hidden gems.

I really wanted to give 3 stars, but I just can't do it in good conscience. We've lived in GP for two years, and after reading all the gushing reviews we finally got over there on a recent weeknight. The decor is open and simplistic, the atmosphere relaxed and downtempo. The drink menu was intriguing, but I was a little disappointed in the rather flavorless "Dark and Thundery" (ginger syrup instead of ginger beer). The portions were TINY. I wasn't expecting some sort of all-you-can-eat Olive Garden endless bowl nonsense, but I would like to have an appetizer salad followed by an entree and feel like I had an actual meal. I had kabobs entree (swordfish I think?) which had about four bite-size pieces of fish on half a handful of rice. Wife had the blackened fish (mahi I think?) sandwich--and it was the saddest, thinnest little sliver of fish I've ever seen try to grace a sandwich. On top of that, the service was mediocre. Our server was not very friendly, impatient, and seemed borderline annoyed that we were there. After we got our food we never saw her again. After nearly 30 minutes of waiting and trying to get her attention so we could get the check, I had to walk over and pull her away from the conversation she was having with her pals at the bar. I could see maybe going back for drinks and small (and they are small!) apps with a group or something, but I won't be returning for dinner. I really wanted to like this place and support a neighborhood business, but with all the options in the area, Ziba's just didn't cut it.

Zibas is laid back and the perfect neighborhood spot. The owner, Marci works there everyday. Go support her hard work. My favorites are the lasagna and the choc chip pancakes for Sun brunch

We've lived in Grant Park for half a year and walk past Ziba's a couple of times a week, but we'd never stopped in before. Finally we wound up our evening constitutional and decided to duck in, despite being a little sweaty and red-faced from the walk. We were greeted like long-lost friends and given a lovely table near the window, and near the a/c blower, which was refreshing. The server/owner rushed back with big glasses of ice water and then asked us all about our preferences in food, beer and wine. She recommended a wine I hadn't tried, and when I ordered a glass she same back with a generous sample, to make sure I liked it. (I did!) My husband ordered a favorite beer. We weren't especially hungry, but the tapas menu looked very good and she told us about a special, Mango Crostini, which wasn't on the menu. We ordered that, and a plate of hummus, and both were superb, just-spicy-enough and ample, the crostini being made with fresh diced mango and jalapeno, rather than some syrupy jelly. When she brought my full glass of Tempranillo, she also brought a free sample glass of Garnacha, asking me to try both, so I really got two full glasses of wine and only paid for one! We decided to completely negate our walk-exercise by ordering dessert: he had the strawberry shortcake (made southern-style with a big, fluffy biscuit) and I had the Tres Leches cake, which was absolutely to die for. The atmosphere was wonderful - just big enough, not too big, soft music, easy to hear, but easy to converse, a cozy bar and fab brick walls without the thundering echoes that so often accompany situations like that. Our next venture will probably be to brunch, with our adult kids. Because we weren't ordering a full meal, I haven't really tested the availability of vegetarian options, and my children are lifelong veggies and I have been for almost 40 years. I noted a Portabella Mushroom sandwich and imagine that several dishes could be vegified by the attentive chef.

Zibas is not only a great Grant Park dinning spot, it is one of the best in the city! We frequent Zibas weekly. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is fabulous and the food is always so good! They are expanding their menu and have a nice blend of large and small plates. The roasted red pepper hummus is the best in the city. Salmon flatbread is is really good also. They always have some of the highest quality, best tasting salads as well. They usually pour heavy on the wine which is a positive. They have the two best desserts in town (tres leches and the chocolate mousse) both those with their organic decaf and you'll always come back!!!!! I hate to promote with yelp because I don't want it too packed, but had to respond after seeing the negative reviews. We neighborhood locals are very protective of Zibas.

I stopped in Ziba's for the first time and fell in love with it. The ambiance is amazing, classically shabby chic, elegant, with antique finishings in a cool restored historic building. The staff was so friendly and so helpful, the service was fantastic. Try the red sauce with anything, especially the mussels!

A couple weeks ago I dropped into Ziba's purely out of curiosity . I wanted to see what they had done to the old Solstice space. What was once a colorful, spirited decor is now understated yet comfortable. I only tried the raspberry wine spritzer drink special that first visit but last night Courtney R and I finally tried the food. We went in kind of early so the place was empty and we decided to sit at the bar and order a few small plates and a large plate to share. We tried the lamb meatballs, grilled calamari, hummus and baba ghanouj plate and the ahi tuna. The lamb meatballs taste shined though the yummy tzatziki. The grilled calamari...well, it was a little odd. I expected big firm rings with grill marks but instead a pile of small, flacid rings on top of some olive tapanade came out. It wasn't unpleasant, just a little unexpected. The grilled artichoke that accompanies the squid had a delicious taste and texture. The baba ghanouj? BEST EVER! The hummus rocked too but I will dream about the baba ghanouj. The ahi tuna big plate came out already split onto two plates for Courtney R. and I to share which I thought was very thoughtful. It was prepared perfectly and served atop a delicious quinoa. YUM! They had a great wine selection and their prices weren't terrible whether buying by the glass or bottle. All in all, I highly recommend checking out this place.

Great drinks, good food, awesome service! Seriously though, the drinks are very good and the service each time I go is wonderful. If they are still serving the tres leches for desert - please get this, it is so delicious.

Stopped in before a concert w/ a pal, upon first impression the parking was non-existent. No good, but I sucked it up, walked and hoped my car would not be towed when I got back. Food and drink certainly made up for the parking sitch. We sat at the bar and started off w/ the tasting flight, which was delicious. We tried 2 reds and 2 whites, all from Spain, and tiny bites of food were perfectly paired. For $10, you can't beat this flight and it certainly warmed us up for dinner. We ordered 3 small plates--breaded artichokes, yucca frites and "duck cops," a duck breast with the bone still in. My red wine paired perfectly with all the food; the small negative I'll make about the food was the artichokes. Waayy too breaded, nearly friend. Just tell me they're fried. The bartender, Reda, was awesome too. He knew a ton about wine and spoke some very choice French. Enjoy!

My my, how Boulevard has changed! This used to be very divey around here - very. It's just down the street from our first home in Ormewood Park - where someone got shot at the local grocery store. No more - at least the diveyness. Ziba had the kind of feel that Little Alley in Roswell had (before it closed) except in a much more interesting area. (L.A. was in a decrepit loserish strip shopping center in the middle of nowheresville suburbia. Very Mediterranean, very hang-out-at-the-bar, you get it. It'd be great if we didn't have to hear the strategy of what they were going to push that night (It made the return of the bottle of wine a little anti-climatic), but I understand. P.S. ScoutMob made the deal AMAYZING!

Had a weird but pleasant night at Ziba's. We were shocked to find it virtually empty at 6:30 on a Friday night, and there were never more than three parties in the restaurant the whole time we were there. Huh? It certainly wasn't the food keeping people away. The kitchen's free taste of radish-apple salad was a great way to start the meal. The flatbread was generous and fresh. The servings were well-portioned, and we both liked our meals (my reinvented spanakopita was delicious). We didn't sample dessert, but I was surprised by how limited the offerings were when described by our server. I expect things would have been a lot more enjoyable if there had been a bit more of a crowd (can't remember writing those words before), and our waiter may have been a tad too attentive for that reason -- he didn't have anything else to do. That said, Ziba's is the best thing to happen to this space in my time as a Grant Park resident. Hope the neighborhood steps up and fills the tables more frequently!

One of my new favorite places in town. Ziba's is a very cool wine bar with excellent food, great service and a very cool atmosphere. I've never really found a Hookah bar that I really felt comfortable in but this place nails it. I definitely recommend the yucca fries, and the steak (ask for it, it's not clear on the menu). In fact all the tapas was excellent, as were the wine recommendations. This has finally given me a reason to explore Grant Park for more great places like this. No doubt I'll be back again this month (my 3rd visit!) - Oh and did I mention that they have a Scoutmob deal? That's right thanks to the mustached guys at Scoutmob I've found another gem in Atlanta.

oh the calamari is killer. The hummus appitizer is blended with smoked paprika. One of the best appitizers i have had. Try the chicken livers they will do them for you on the rare side exquisitly. We had so much fun trying many different tapas selections. They were all prepared so well. We will return here many times. Hope to see you here!

Decent wine by the glass, prices pretty good. The food was OK, I should of took the advice on the reviews about the persian meatballs. They where very dry but flavorful and the dipping sauce was good. For my main course I got the lamb chops, and it was good but, I especially liked the jalapeno cous cous that came with it more. Overall it was OK, service was good and the atmosphere was good. But not a place I would comeback to.

WOW! what an amazing tapas restaurant...my boyfriend and I dined here a few nights ago...it was AMAZING!!!!!! The grilled calamari was sooo good, there wasnt a single item on the menu that didnt look delicious.....I wanted to order the entire menu, and with the reasonable prices, you can! I highly recommend Ziba's!!!!

Wonderful lunch brunch dinner whenever you're hungry place. Food is very simple, very fresh, no froofroo just well executed. We go back all the time. Hardly ever a wait which is huuuuge in Atlanta. Folks are very nice, no pushy and oh the adult drinks are wonderful! Their salads are absolutely delicious. Not the bagged lettuce that too many restaurants serve. And their sandwiches and even the chicken livers one. Just a very very good place for a low budget!!! Parking is best off the street past Zibas but we never had to park too far. Again, for the price, it's absolutely wonderful.

Great food, rather poor service, but I was expecting to be blown away. Had the white wine mussels, the salmon flatbread, and the calamari. The calamari comes with a great sweet chili sauce that I could use more of in my life. The white wine mussels come in a creamier sauce than to be expected, but delicious still. Served with AMAZING fries. I want more fries. Wasn't a fan of salmon flatbread. Chocolate mousse was VERY rich, but good for a spoonful. Server just kept forgetting about people and there was no one in the restaurant. Drinks were not great, so probably stick with somthing very basic.

When you get the menu, I would kindly like to draw your attention first to one thing: MUSSELS. I didn't even know I liked mussels before Ziba. Maybe I don't, but Ziba tricked me into it. And they don't skimp on them either. Being placed next to the "Small Bites" on the paper is misleading because the dish itself is HUGE. It's gotta be, to contain the saucy broth, shellfish, and bread. Our plate of Spicy Chorizo Mussels was split between two people, but only because our third attendee couldn't eat (late-blooming festival side-effects). Their chorizo is the ground meat kind rather than a sausage, yet this pork+shellfish combination kicks serious butt and flavor. I wish there had been more bread to help soak up the tangy broth, but we made do by scooping it up in spoons because we didn't want it to go to waste. Tried soaking the accompanying French Fries in it and... yeah, not quite the same. :P We also ordered the Watermelon small bites as an appetizer. It was fresh and minty, but not quite a hit for me since the watermelon tasted more like cucumber than watermelon. My friend's Steak Frites came pre-chopped into slices and lathered with blue cheese sauce, and once I got over the (shudder) blue cheese flavor, the meat was very tender and perfectly medium rare. My Cafe au Lait was delicious and emptied too soon. Ziba is also majorly winning in its atmosphere. This is the Italy of my idyllic dreams, complete with rustic walls, blurry yet beautiful paintings, and billowy curtains. Pseudo-outdoor seating is guarded with a ceiling fan to keep away the moist heat. The jazzy music strangely fits in. Service could have been better, but also could have been much worse. The bathroom was clean and functional, hued a darker shade than the main dining area. If Atlanta were home I'd definitely be back to try more mussel concoctions. I spied something about a happy hour for these on the menu, so there may be even more reason for you to visit and carry on in my stead!

We moved to Grant Park a little over a year ago. Since we came from the burbs and one of the coolest things about living in the city is having great places to eat within walking distance, we tried Zibas right away and it didn't disappoint. I've had probably half of their menu because we eat there all the time. I'm a bit of a picky eater and they're always very nice about substitutions and leaving off cheese *BLECH* Yeah, I'm the only person in the country who doesn't like the stuff. I've never had a bad meal there. The trout and the calamari are standouts though. The calamari is never overcooked and comes with a really excellent sauce. Their drinks are quite good too and the service/staff are all great. Zibas is kind of like the girl next door. Cute, though not the hottest but she's just cool as hell.

Absolutely love Ziba's. We live in the neighborhood and walk over for dinner all the time. The service is great and everyone is always so nice and friendly. They are super accommodating about substitutions with dishes and always have great specials. The sangria is delicious and they have a good wine selection (as the name suggests). They no longer serve brunch :( Locally owned, the staff is always cheerful and awesome. Everything is really great on the menu, but my personal favorite consistent item is probably the white bean burger. The menu changes and the specials are usually my go to. Definitely stop in here if you get a chance!

I first started visiting Ziba's shortly after they opened with a guy I was dating at the time. He adored Ziba's so we visited about once a week. It was later in the evenings so we would have small bites and cocktails. The cocktails here are inventive and tasty more often than not. I can't remember the small plates I had during my early visits as I was in a love haze, but I remember never complaining about our dining experiences. Most recently I've been visiting Ziba during late lunch hours - after 2:00pm or so. It's very quiet - maybe 1-2 other patrons and the staff is relaxed but still doing their job. My favorite menu item is the carrot salad with soy ginger dressing. I think I would have soy ginger dressing on any salad but this salad is perfect - greens, tomatoes, carrots, pecans and the dressing. I love it. (I usually get my protein on the side.) They've mentioned bottling their salad dressings, and if they did, I would be so happy. My current favorite cocktail is the pepper pear caipiroska. It's a spicy, lemony cocktail that is done right. Ziba's has become a place I think of as regular stop. If I want good food without a lot of fuss, I know that I can come here. Yelp 100 #19

Had dinner here on the recommendation of our Air BnB host. The calamari calamari was delicious. The steak frittes was delicious as well ( assuming you are a blue cheese lover also.) Everything i watched them bring out of the kitchen looked amazing. Next time i ask in the area i will be back.

I stopped here with a friend before heading to Lakewood last Sunday. This small little place did not disappoint. If you like mojitos then you will love their Bichon Frise. I don't like grapefruit but this was a whole new twist on it. For dinner I split the steak frittes with a friend. I suddenly wished I hadn't once I tasted it. Very good! Can't wait to go back and try new things. I have a lot to check out in Grant Park!

I really wanted to try rias bluebird after reading amazing reviews on yelp(570 reviews and 4 stars). Went there with my husband for Sunday brunch. Parking lot was packed and the wait was 1 hr. We decided to go somewhere else. After digging into yelp we found ziba' bistro. I had no patience to wait for another 45 mins so I called them to see if there is any wait. No wait! So we head ziba's. It's located in a residential area. Although they don't have a private parking lot, parking was not hard to find. After entering the bistro we realized that most of their staff is very young. Early 20s. One kid greeted us and asked if we would like to sit outside. We preferred to sit inside. He sat us on a nice big table for 4 people. Place was busy. I think ours was the only table left. Interior is interestingly decorated. Huge balloons, lamps and maps. There was a map of Southern Europe and Mediterranean carved into the wall just above our table I could see the beautiful reflection of it in the mirror across from me. One guys came to take our drink order. Since we were starving we placed drink and food order together. We ordered cafe latte, burrito, spicy steak and eggs and french toast with walnuts and bananas. My cafe latte didn't come at first. I kept waiting. He got our food first and then I had to remind him about my coffee. It took 25 mins for me to get my latte. Our food came with a side of hash browns. Like my dad I hate white potatoes. I rarely eat them. But these hash browns were just amazing. I actually finished more than 50% of it. It's kinda a big deal for a person who absolutely hates potatoes. Burrito lacked flavor but it was still delicious. My husband said that the spicy steak & egg is not too spicy, yet it was delicious. French toast was too good. I am really happy to find ziba's. It's not crazy busy like other famous restaurants and so delicious. I would definitely go here again.

We had an okay experience here Friday night. Pros: Beet Salad was flavorful Interesting drink choices Tasty mussels (we got the fennel) and big portion Nice portion size on the Georgia trout Cons: Tiny salmon on the salad Our table was awkwardly placed near another table for two The drink my date ordered was weak and tasted like sweet n low I know margins are thin at restaurants, but try hiding where you cut your corners better; a small piece of salmon is really noticeable. If you're going to charge $8 for a drink (not that expensive, I know) it shouldn't taste like a well whiskey sour.

The atmosphere is great, very quaint and fits the neighborhood well. It was incredibly empty when we came in for lunch on a rainy Wednesday so we sat right down. Server was very nice and took our order quickly. We tried an empanada to start out with - they only give you one but it's big enough to split easily. Unfortunately they lost our ticket so our food took a while to come out - but luckily that meant we got a cold cucumber soup on the house. It was a very different dish, but given it was free it was fun to taste. I had the salmon wrap and it was delicious - the salmon tasted very fresh and hearty. The french fries were absolutely addictive. Would definitely go again, fun unique place!

A nice cozy, almost hidden neighborhood spot, located in EAtl. Funky/chic artistic type decor. It's great place to celebrate just about all your memorable occasions. I personally think, it's best for date nights and Sunday brunch or hanging with the girls. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Order anything from their menu, you will be pleased. live on the wild side and order their one if kind cocktails, they're amazingly delicious!

Pros:, food is really interesting and very good. The salmon flatbread is simply spectacular, the empanada had way too much garlic in it but it was still prettty good too. Red Sangria was fantastic. Cons? Their customer service is really terrible. Huge attitude and really completely unhelpful. Check your attitudes at the door folks and remember its the customers you're there to serve. Or maybe you're not. In the area, Carroll Street remains far better.

Reserved a table for 6 Saturday night. They were out of mussels completely, out of steak, out of beer on tap, calamari was tough. Wish when we made the reservation they would have told us that due to the holiday weekend they were not ordering their usual inventory. It was very disappointing.

    (3)
  • Tia H.

I've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. I was craving mussels and knew they served them here but was shocked when I saw they had a mussels happy hour from 4-6! Instead of the usual $13.95 they were $9.95 and came with a generous side of bread for dipping and fries. You choose between 6-7 different sauces and I opted for the white wine sauce. A sea's worth of mussels arrived on my plate in piping hot sauce! I kid you not, their serving was enormous.

This place came highly recommended by a friend and since dining here and I now understand why it was recommended. I stopped in for lunch it was relatively quiet maybe five tables in the restaurant with one server who worked very efficiently and quickly to satisfy all five tables. I ordered the salmon wrap with the citrus salad which was delicious fresh grapefruit and oranges came with the salad I would totally order it again. The salmon wrap came wrapped in a spinach tortilla wrap serve with arugula feta cheese and avocado lots of flavor and also quite delicious. I sincerely look forward to returning to this place and would also recommend it to any of my friends and all of you yelp users as well. What a cool little bistro!

Delicious and inventive. "Small plates" a misnomer; portions are generous. My adult daughter and I started with hummus which came with pita for dipping and also carrots, celery, olives. Nice touch. We shared a citrus salad - delightful mix of flavors, light and perfect on a warm summer evening. Split an entree of trout over a bed of greens with other accents, all quite yummy. Server Vanessa was friendly and engaging. They welcomed our dog as we sat outside on the front tables. Owner stood watch when we returned to our car at 11:30 pm on a Saturday evening. Appreciated! Recommend.

Went here for lunch/brunch last weekend on my way to the zoo. I had the empanada small plate and a side salad. It was awesome because they just make you a mini (still pretty large actually) version of any of the salads on the menu. Since everything is always better with goat cheese, I opted for the citrus salad. Both items were delicious and the red sangria was pretty good too! one of the better sangrias I've had in town. Hoping to make it back to check out their dinner menu sometime!

Great little grant park bistro . Has good home style med cousins, variety of salads - cucumber is my favored, and full bar. They also have a good brunch option but never tried it. The ambiance is nice, particularly on the side room, the waiters cool and food is great for the money. We keep on ordering mussels as they have plenty of variety and they are done great. We had a Dorado fish special, flown directly from Greece, which was amazing !!!! Marcie the owner is extremely friendly and accommodating ....nice option for local place

Amazing experience! Went for Valentine's Day and loved it. They had decorated the place beautifully with balloons and lights. Ordered zibarita and a mohito- both good. The food was very tasteful. We ordered their empanadas and crostini for appetizer- delish! And even though they don't have burgers on their dinner menu anymore they made special black been burger and their blvd burgers for us! And to top it tres leche for dessert. Our server was good too! Will be back.

Picked this place randomly as it was close to an event, and we were very pleased. The staff was very attentive/polite, and the food was delicious. We had the chorizo mussels and GA trout, both of which were super flavorful and plentiful. Per the yelp description, I don't think I would really call this a tapas place though.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing owner. Their menu is seasonal, so they are constantly adding new and interesting dishes to the menu. They combine tastes that you would never think to put together but that blend wonderfully! They serve a great lunch and have a killer brunch on Saturday and Sunday too. Try the stuffed bell pepper, chicken piccata, spinach salad, beet salad, bowtie pasta, crab cakes, creamy carrot ginger soup, stuffed acorn squash, or chocolate mousse.

I visited this bar with friends for the first time, I really liked it; the atmosphere the specialty drinks and the food. I wish there was a better parking situation, I hate parking on the street anywhere in Atlanta. The staff seems really friendly and inviting but I think they have under age waitresses serving alcohol which concerns me.

Brunch was amazing! Stuffed French toast was delicious. The steak and eggs was a bargain for the quality

I wanted to give this place a try after the rave reviews everyone was giving. The site advertise a full bar but the bar wasn't full. I asked the waitress for a tequilla sunrise. She said no they don't make those. Food was average not many variety tapas. Calamari was bland not seasoned as I'm use to at other restaurants

I had not been to this place in a while, what a mistake on my part. My husband and I wanted a nice Dinner out so we payed Ziba's a visit after not going for a few years. I really enjoyed the experience. We were greeted by very friendly staff members, our waiter was very attentive without hovering over us, and the food was excellent. We had the Calamari which was fantastic and honestly a bargain for all that you get. My husband had the stuffed squash and I had Mussels. I believe you can pick from about 9 styles of Mussels which I thought was brilliant. Can't wait to visit this place for Brunch.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was delicious. The drinks were delicious. The ambiance was....well, not delicious, but certainly enjoyable. Next time, I'm requesting to sit on the patio. Do yourself a favor and try it. It's a neighborhood gem.

Zibas is AMAZING! My girl and I absolutely LOVE coming here! Food is wonderful and service is great! A perfect little setting with great ambiance inside and out! I love bistros and this one is a must for anyone who does as well!

What a funky place. Great attitudes by owner, staff, makes for a most enjoyable experience. The four of us sampled various wines before making our selections. They have a VERY limited selection by the glass, and were actually out of at least three or four. Tapas were assorted to satisfy all four of us. We had arepas, crostini, and other things I forget right now...but, all good. Street parking, and special during the week, make this a neighborhood spot to return to.

This is a great little local spot. They have a great bar service with unique signature cocktails. The service here always make you feel right at home, and the food it's consistently good; I suggest ordering the special (whatever it is that day it will be great).

GREAT lunch and even better server, Alex! First time here and pleasantly surprised. Cute atmosphere, priced well and great food/drinks (I particularly enjoyed the assortment of olives I received with my martini ;) I will defiantly be back!!!

The food is good, but they really need to get it together with the service. There is no reason why we should be sitting at a 80% empty restaurant with an already packed to-go box waiting for the check for 15 minutes while the 2 people working there mill around, washing a few glasses & generally acting confused. I live right around the corner & would prefer to support this place, but unfortunately this may be my last time there.

Ziba's Bistro is reason #87 why I should move to Grant Park(ish) area. Last night my friend and I arrived at Ziba's approximately 9pm and I was enchanted before I got inside. There is only street parking so we found a spot on the next street over which made for a very brief walk. The tables outside are pretty cute and the interior is super cool. I'm a sucker for a restaurant with exposed brick. The furniture is vintage like and mismatched and the service was excellent. The owner made me the strongest drink my friend and I have ever had and we are no freshmen when it comes to the libation department. They were short staffed so we waited a bit and I'm sure that she made them stronger because were so patient. Honestly, I did not mind I was soaking up the ambiance. I ordered the Salmon BLT with an Avocado Spread. It was ok. The fries were tasty. The things that others yelpers recommended were not on last nights menu so I will have to go back. Normally I would have given a place with food of this quality 2.5 or 3 stars but this place is pretty awesome. I'm going to give this place another chance for food and many more chances for the drinks! :)

I've been at Ziba's twice now. First visit was definitely 5 star. I felt very welcome. My guest and I stayed and indulged in the food and bottomless mimosas/sangrias for about 3 hours and the waitress was courteous to us the entire time. The food was fantastic and the setting was very relaxed. In particular I found the potato hash to be delicious. The second visit was just ok. While the food was still on par with the 1st visit, the waitstaff didn't do nearly as good a job. Our waiter was very inattentive and we had to flag him down for nearly everything. He was rushing around a lot and I felt it was kind of odd. But then I realized part of the problem was that they were starting to section off the entire first room for a private party. I think that was the cause of most of the issues with service that day as they seemed to be overwhelmed with trying to deal with both. Not a good excuse for me, but I'm sure this isn't a common occurrence. In the future, I would recommend they would give their diners some kind of heads up as I could tell several people were upset. At one point one of the diners sat the waiter down for a heated talk because they tried to move him and his party from a table they had been sitting and eating at to make room for the private party. I felt that to be pretty unprofessional. So first experience, great, second experience, decent. Won't keep me from returning.

I wanted it to work out, but it's over. I tried Ziba's 3 times over the last 2 months, and on my 3rd I left so hungry and disappointed that I was inspired to write my first Yelp review. I wanted Ziba's to be one of my frequent spots, because the vibe, decor and menu concept are authentically funky and eclectic (reminded me of Lunacy Black Market without the capacity issue). The staff is very down-to-earth - maybe too much where customer service is concerned. On 2 out of 3 visits I had to send something back because it was either wrong or unpalatable. In the first instance I was probably too gracious in not pointing the finger at my server's mistake when he brought me the wrong salad. I heard the manager's frustration from all the way in the back of the store when she instructed the server to exchange it with no charge to me. As if charging me for their mistake was an option. The second send-back was a mixed drink that tasted like cough syrup and should've been temporarily 86'd due to subpar ingredients. In this instance, the server/bar-tender was quite gracious in mixing me something different without a fuss. However, on our discussion of the burger I ordered, he assured me that it would be prepared to medium doneness after I made it clear that I would not appreciate a well-done burger. As you've probably guessed by now, the burger was about as done as it could get before it would literally bounce off the plate. Not a trickle of juice was to be found. My consolation was a "Sorry the burger wasn't to your liking." He definitely wasn't more sorry than I was. If Ziba's can swing and miss 3 times within a 2-month window, then I must conclude it's a trend. Maybe the regulars, through trial-and-error, know what entrees to avoid or are satisfied to sip a beer/wine in a cool spot with mediocre food and service. To sum up my 3 experiences: Good idea. Friendly staff. Poor execution.

Sunday afternoon here gets you either a great brunch menu with all the standard options, or, a great lunch menu. Immediately, I was eyeing the pancakes because they came with options of strawberries, but, for the sake of my diet, I went for the blackened tilapia sandwich. Woah. Talk about flavorful (and borderline too salty). It was really very good. I even tried their spicy mayo, and that stuff really set this sandwich off. Not to mention the steak fries that came with it. Big, huge-cut , perfectly salted and hot. The service was on point, and the owner was super nice. I'll come here again, definitely.

Super HUGE surprise in the neighborhood. Been in Cabbagetown for a year and change and had no idea this gem was in Grant Park. First off, Emma rocks!!!! Best service we've had in Atlanta. Food was spectacular, we had the steak frittes and roasted chicken which were both great. Empanada and salmon flatbread appetizers were both spectacular. Such a great find in the neighborhood. Am embarrassed it took us this long. Will be back over and over.

I enjoyed dining at Ziba's. We shared 3 dishes. The hummus which had a smokey, spicy kick served with fresh vegetables which were crisp and complimented the hummus' flavors and texture. The cruets crispy with flavor combinations that popped and pleased ones taste buds. The mussels in white sauce, my favorite, a generous portion of mussels in a cream, wine and garlic sauce with warm bread for sopping. My mouth is watering thinking about it. My companions and I had to get extra bread we could not stop eating it. They also have fresh made cocktails. I had the Zibarita with lemon, lime and tequila. Made to order, refreshing and delicious with the perfect combination of fruit, sweet and alcohol a far cry above the chemically margaritas served at some Mexican restaurants I've frequented. I would get exactly the same items again but there are other dishes I am interested in trying. Check outthe menu. The atmosphere is laid back allowing one to enjoy the company of his/her companions. Go. Go Soon and Enjoy.

First things first the seasonal salad was extraordinary. Lettuce cukes, red and green bell peppers, wonderful dried tomatos , blue cheese and a very light oil and vinegar. Crisp and crunchy and oh my good. My companion tried the carrot soup and gave it two thumbs up. She had the chicken picante served with rice and it was a little dry, but the sauce almost saved it. I had the strip steak special, served with asparagus and a Portobello sauce. Sauce was quite tasty defiantly a nice choice,. The steak was a very nice piece of beef, but alas it was a little on the well done side of medium rare. So it was dried out more than I like. Guess I should have ordered rare and hope for cooked but juicy I want to try their Sunday Brunch soon,I've heard it is great.

Ziba's is a swell neighborhood joint with great food and terrific people. They let me keep my pants on when I order the bottomless sangria at brunch. My wife loves the couple of ways they do mussels, the burger is reliable, and the Mediterranean accents hit the spot. The wine list is small but fun and reasonable, and the specialty drinks are tasty and offer a fine pour. When the weather is nice, the sidewalk tables are a treat. I just need to be sure not to stumble into the tattoo joint two doors down after a snootful of mimosas some Sunday.

We randomly went to Ziba's Bistro tonight for dinner while checking out our new neighborhood. Service: Very friendly without being obnoxious. Our waitress was so nice and up beat and the owner/ chef came out to thank us for coming in. Food: We wanted to sample a few things so we ordered 4 appetizers, all of which were great. Atmosphere: It's a laid back place and appears to be very family friendly as we saw several kids in there and toys to keep them occupied so they weren't running around. Parking: I did not notice a parking lot, but we happen to get a spot out front on the street. We did not preplan to go here, we just saw the place as we were about to drive by and stopped. Price: Don't go here if you're looking to feed 2 people for 20.00. The two of us each ordered a drink and split 4 appetizers which cost us 50.00. It was well worth it and we will be back soon because it was hard to make a decision of what to eat with so many good looking things on the menu.

fantastic little neighborhood chestnut. food is simple, hearty, comfort fare. small, but enjoyable wine selection. service is a good balance between timely and hands-off. only caveat: they have a lovingly heavy hand with animal fats, resulting in salads and whatnot A BIT more than you bargained for. this is bistro loves you like your mama.

Can't say enough about the great food at a good value, and the excellent, uber-friendly service. It's the kind of place you just feel good about patronizing. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The menu has something for everyone and changes frequently with the seasons. Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas is a must!

I'm going completely against the grain here, but what the hell happened to the original Zibas menu? I came here a couple of times when Zibas first opened and loved the delicious small plates of grilled calamari with kalamata olives and small plate raw tuna with assorted tastiness atop. Now they have a couple of boring sandwiches and some other random items. Perhaps I picked the wrong thing, but I really couldn't get in to the new menu. Maybe it's my fault for waiting a year before visiting again. Sad I know. Oh well, maybe if I wait another year they'll amp up the menu.

Having just finished dinner with my girlfriend we are still sitting at Ziba's quite satisfied. The place is quirky and homey, to be sure, and the friendly welcome made us feel like old friends. The food sealed the deal. The fresh daily salad of greens with guava vinaigrette with some grilled salmon, empanadas with grilled chicken, the Boulevard burger and priciutto and Brie plate...all outstanding. Bring on the flan! We won't even taste it before posting this because we know it's going to be great. Go here if you want a nice, neighborhoody restaurant that serves the right portion sizes and fantastic food.

Too expensive for the food you get (portion wise and taste wise). Odd flavor combinations, even for a gourmet place. The cocktails were terrible, I've had better at college parties. Their menu is never updated, and they're always out of something. They often don't answer their phone, so good luck trying to put an order in.

Despite the rainy weather, confusing parking, and the loud girls that were seated near us, this Date Night turned out to be another one for the record books. I don't know if they treat everyone this well or it's just because Katie W. and I have gotten a reputation for hitting up restaurants and then giving dueling reviews. Either way, the table service here is awesome. Like, better than restaurants that are double the price and way fancier (*ahem* Sundial). The wine list is huge and I especially love that they use the word "Libation" on their menu. Truth be told, there aren't many libations, but this is a wine bar and I wouldn't have expected many specialty cocktails. Actually, Katie had to point that out to me, but I digress... I can sum up the food in one word. Delicious. We started with some hummus and I'm slightly embarrassed to say we almost licked the plate. Of course, by "we" I mean me. My steak was really good and after scarfing it down with the blue cheese potatoes I was completely stuffed. Really. Absolutely no room for dessert, although I was tempted. #Yelp365 - 44/365

Ziba's is wonderful! I love everything about this place. The food is fantastic, especially for the price. The service is wonderful! It has such great ambiance and you could go there for any occasion. After work for their happy hour specials, it's a good 'girls night out' place, it's romantic so it's nice for a date night or just a great neighborhood hang out.

It must be Atlanta's best kept secret because no one ever eats. Boyfriend and I decided to try Ziba's for the first time around 2pm on a beautiful Sunday. It wasn't busy at all inside and only one other table was seated outside. 15 minutes later, no one had even been by to take our drink order so we ate at the deli 2 shops down and the hostess from Ziba's came in to buy a King of Pops. Nothing to complain to a manager about because as first timers we assume this is how the service always is and the menu wasn't enticing enough to try again.

Quaint, great atmosphere, yummy food. A little bit expensive, but overall seems like a terrific place. I've only eaten here once but gotten take-out a couple times and each experience the service is quick and the food superb. My only criticism is that the prices can be high.

What happened to you, Ziba's Bistro?? A neighborhood favorite of mine, I had high hopes for Ziba's. Last night, those hopes were dashed as both our meals were just plain awful. I had been to Ziba's twice before and it was pretty good, but they made changes - and not for the better. I left regretful we had chosen to eat there and even a bit sad that Ziba's had disappointed so greatly. They were the closest restaurant to our Grant Park home that also made our favorites list. So, to the food......stay away from the crostini. It's not nearly as good as the empanada or the potato cake, a lesson we learned last night. And we couldn't figure out what was going on with the steak frites but it has changed greatly. It seemed like a smaller, lower quality piece of meat, but the cheese is what totally baffled us. The menu claims it is topped with blue cheese but in reality, it is topped with a 3 cheese blend that contains blue cheese. And way too much of it, I might add! Their steak frites used to be a great dish (and the reason I returned twice after ordering it on my first visit.) But I don't know what they are doing? Maybe trying to cut food cost by making an expensive ingredient like blue cheese go further? If so, it's backfiring! Because I'm not returning to eat here anytime soon. At least the fries were good and plentiful. We passed on dessert. Oh, and service - that is sort of hit-and-miss here. We've had great service at Ziba's before but last night's service wasn't anywhere near great. However, I don't ever put too much weight on service in any review. A server can have an off-night and they are often at the mercy of others, particularly the kitchen and the bar. But they have some obviously inexperienced servers and hostesses. Just hope you get seated in the section being manned by the barkeep, an owner, or an experienced wait staffer.

Holy mother of deliciousness!! Ziba has got it going on. Everything about this place is great. It is not in a hippie/suburban/trendy area and there is plenty of parking. The atmosphere is great. Not too chachki, not too bold, but you feel like you are in someone's bar/living room type of thing. Which awesome. The service is stellar. We were immediately seated and well taken care of throughout the night. Now the menu did not have much of anything that I could eat being vegan, but they did have a mushroom and eggplant dish that I had to try. It blew my tastebuds back to the 18th century. It was amazing. Ziba's also has hookahs, which is totally neat. I am definitely going to come here again as soon as my single dish cravings set in.

I love the feel of this place! Went here on a date with an old friend and it was one of those places that just makes you comfortable. The owner happened to be our waitress on this Sunday night! She was superb with her service, nice, and held great conversation. She made sure that not only we were comfortable....BUT ALSO OUR DOGS!!!(Yes they are dog friendly) +5 pts! She brought our dogs a huge bowl of water after we told her we had just come from Grant Park. My dog actually threw up after drinking his water too fast....the owner said not to worry about it and came and cleaned it up right away! This place doesn't have the biggest menu but it's not needed since what they have on it is actually pretty good. They have a huge wine list also! The prices are pretty reasonable also! If you are ever in the Grant Park area, definitely give this place a visit!

A friend commended this place because of the fresh and "local ingredients" they use. Very cute decor, comfortable setting. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the owner who was very friendly. The service was fine although I did not get what I ordered. I asked for the swordfish dinner, and she brought me the swordfish salad. I did not say anything because I love salads anyway, but was a bit disappointed for not getting what I originally had in mind. The fish was blend, but my husband enjoyed his steak. Will probably try it one more time.

I just want to echo the other rave reviews for this tapas joint in Grant Park. Its got a good vibe, I love the redecorating they have done. While I was a fan of Solstice, it always felt a little sticky, like the tables hadn't been wiped down properly or something, but Ziba has a clean, mellow feel. The wine list was interesting but I hope they switch it up from time to time. As for the food it is an eclectic mix of food from all over the Mediterranean and it works. The calamari is divine, it is fresh and perfectly cooked, not a rubbery mess. The clams are fantastic, the briny broth is a perfect compliment to the sausage and clams. I wasn't overly excited about the hummus but I am a complete hummus snob but the baba ganoush was good with the grilled eggplant and other veggies. The chicken spanakopita was delicious and massive we ended up taking half of it home, unfortunately this is not a dish that is easily reheated. Over all it was a great dinner, I definitely look forward to going back. The evening we were there they were hosting a burlesque show and we would have loved to stay be we had movie plans. I really hope this place makes it.

I went to Ziba's on a Sunday afternoon. Only street parking is available. I could see this being an issue on a busier Friday or Saturday night, but it wasn't a problem today. My friend and I split the watermelon, cucumber and basil salad. It was delicious. We both ordered the mussels. I like that they give you a choice of different sauces. I had the coconut and lemongrass sauce and my friend tried the white wine sauce. Both sauces were amazing! The only critique I had about the mussels was that they were very small. Paired with the salad it was enough, but I probably would still be hungry if I had them without it. The staff were warm engaging. I see this place being one of my new favorites.

I love this place! We used to be fans of Solstice, but Ziba's is much, much better. We went for dinner on a Friday night and loved it so much that we came back to try their brunch on Sunday. We had mostly tapas for dinner - split 5 things between the 2 of us, and one dessert (tres leches and it was AWESOME!). The food was outstanding, prices are really affordable, wine list is unique and fun. We liked everything about the place. Brunch was good too. The only thing was...both times the place was pretty dead -- 2 other tables on a Friday night and only 3 for brunch (although we did go late). I hope they get more business because they deserve it. Seriously, if you live in Grant Park or anywhere nearby and haven't been here yet, you are missing out!

Seconsd visit to Ziba's for brunch and it definately hit the spot. The waitress and owner immediately greeted me on entry and that really made me feel welcome. If you like spicy (not -hot-) foods than you will like anything turkey sausage. The crepes are also a good choice. You will most likely need to park on a side street-- there is ample space around. Worth your time!

Looks like I'm the only one that didn't have a wonderful experience. We had the Persian Meatballs which were really dry but still flavorful. My wife had the Lamb Chops at $18.95 which was severly undercooked and really fatty. She wasn't too happy with the small portion of wine in big glass - basically, she didn't have a good exerience and stated that she wouldn't be back. I had the Tuna which was really tasty served over sauteed vegetables - I subbed out the quinoa. The portion was smaller than I had expected but it was still very tasty - I'd come back though. The wait staff was very helpful and informative although everything seemed to be his "favorite". But hey, mine was good and I left quite happy. The other drawback is that the sound in the main room is quite deafening and carries over to the smaller room. There's not much sound dampening so if you're looking for a romantic spot and there's a large crowd (as in our case), it's going to be a hard sell. So between our two experiences, we're giving it an OK rating.

Great food, decent wine by the glass, lots of great bottles, very reasonably priced. To be honest, I kind of suspected the other rave reviews were written by friends of the staff considering how recently it opened. Who knows - maybe they are, but they're certainly not lying. We had small plates: yucca frites tossed in salsa verde, lamb meatballs, crab cake, babaganoush/hummus and chopped salad. All were excellent, but the yucca frites stole the show. The best fried root veggie I ever ate. The atmosphere is very relaxed; the service is good too. A welcome addition to Grant Park, for sure!

I was a big fan of Solstice and was sad to see them go, but I'm glad they've been replaced by something that seems to fit the community oh so well. Ziba's was a lovely stop on this chilly Saturday night, and we were welcomed by a boisterous party in the side room and a few other diners in the main area. Our service could not have been more friendly and attentive. We ordered up the yucca fries, calamari, baba ghanoush/hummus, and the bistro steak entree. The yucca fries were good but not as awesome as hoped while the baba ganoush and hummus were absolutely delicious. I loved the fluffy pita bread and grilled veggies they were served with. The calamari was unlike any I'd ever had before as it was grilled and tasted very fishy. Not sure if that's what calamari is *supposed* to taste like, but I wasn't a fan. Luckily the grilled artichokes that accompanied the dish were spectacular, but I've really never met an artichoke I didn't like. The bistro steak entree was nice and hearty and flavorful, but again nothing that really blew my hair back. Overall I really liked Ziba's and am definitely going to go back to sample other dishes. I loved the decor and vibe of the place, with the antique tin ceiling and gurgling hookahs. A good addition to Grant Park, for sure.

Ok I have to admit I have driven by Ziba's Bistro too many times to count. I am so happy I finally can say I tried it and I liked it. The restaurant is laid back, and the staff works hard to keep everyone happy. We had six in our party and were seated at a table that could handle a few more. The menu is filled with many nice selections. My gf and I spilt the salmon flat bread, caprese salad, and a salmon blt....very yummy. We met the owner and Marcy could not have been nicer to chat with. I will be back soon, and so should you.

Disclaimer #1: Tonight's wine and tasting menu was complimentary. Disclaimer #2: To judge a wine bar without seeing a wine list or trying an entree is like judging a movie based on the trailer Disclaimer #3: I desperately want a restaurant on the east side of Grant Park to thrive. I stuck with Solstice and Painted Table, much longer than either place really deserved. We shared seven small plates. In the case of two dishes, the Yuca Frites and Baba Ghanuj , they were merely solid. The Yuca was tossed in a delicious Salsa Verde, but lacked the crispness i had hoped for. The Baba Ghanuj was served with grilled vegetables and a very fresh, grilled pita. I enjoyed it, but there was nothing to distinguish the dip itself from that of a half dozen other versions of the same dish around town. Two of the dishes were outstanding. I've only just left the restaurant and I find myself craving them. The Grilled Calamari with Artichoke Hearts and Olive Tapenade was perfectly grilled--no rubbery texture, and the tapenade, which could easily have overwhelmed the calamari only served to compliment it. The Lamb Meatballs were fatty and delicious. Three of the dishes were simply home runs. The Black Bean & Coconut soup was accented by mushrooms and a ginger rice. It was reminiscent of Caribbean versions of black bean soup I've had before, but it was flat out the best soup I've had in recent memory. The rice and mushrooms provided a perfect textural contrast to the black bean puree. I've had a version of the Clams & Merguez Sausage made with Chorizo at other Tapas restaurants, but the Merguez sausage, which was new to me, was a quantum improvement. It offered spicier and more complex taste that most Chorizo I've had. These clams also included feta cheese, which provided a perfect contrast with the spiciness of the sausage. Finally, we absolutely adored the Medjol Dates which were stuffed with heart of celery, manchego cheese, smoked paprika and almonds. The dish was the perfect combination of savory and sweet. It was also a perfect complement to our wine. The service was friendly, efficient, and professional. I can't in good conscience give Ziba's Five Stars, since I have no idea if they'll be able to succeed as a wine bar, or sustain the quality when their menu expands. That being said, I look forward to visiting it again very soon to find out!

It's a great setting. The fine flights are nice although they could refrigerate the whites for a bit longer. Started with the yucca frites, yes that's right and I could have eaten another plate. The seafood stew was piping hot and delicious but the chicken tapanade, wellington deal was a bit off a miss. I can totally see my self coming back here for a late night glass of wine and conversation and love what is happening all around this area. B+.

This is a great place! It has a neat ambiance, great food and an owner passionate about what she does. I always appreciate when you see an owner working just as hard as her employees and who takes the time to check in with you to make sure you're satisfied. Marcie truly cared about making sure we enjoyed our experience. I tried several different items off the menu and loved everything, especially the hummus! Ziba's is great for a date night or a group get together.

Very Impressed! I had a great experience dining at the bar the other night....the whole menu looked fantastic and the wines are very well priced. I will add this to my favorites list!!

If you want real and not fake this is the restaurant you need to go if ever in the Grant Park area - I had an organic experience there this last Saturday.... I had been wanting to go and check this place out for a while yet do not live in the area. Finally I decided to venture out and give it a try and it was so totally worth it. I had a glass of white wine (Marchetti) which was heavenly and accompanied that with the Grilled Calamari which was cooked just right to get things started . For my entree I tried the Savory Salmon - lemon & caper sauce was to die for. In addition to delicious food I had the pleasure of meeting the Chef (Rene) and had a chance to practice my French with him as he is Chilean yet trained in France. We agreed that Atlanta needs more places like Ziba's where it is more about the experience of food and less about the crowd and the superficial scene you find in many restaurants in the city. The owner of the place is extremely gracious and friendly (Marcy) and will ensure your experience is one to remember. Highly recommend Ziba's for a culinary and cultural experience all blended into one. Extremely reasonable prices.

I stopped by here a few nights ago to enjoy a small plate. At first, I was a little nervous about the experience because the restaurant was completely empty. However, I was seated and the staff was very friendly. I had a small plate of hummus and baba ganoush. These items were seasoned very well, but the hummus was a little dry. I also enjoyed a glass of white wine that they were carrying as a special that evening. All in all, I had a good experience. I hope that this new Grant Park restaurant picks up, and I'll be sure to come back to try out more things on their menu.

They have changed the way they make the Yucca Frites and they are amazing. Not sure why exactly I love them so much, but it's a welcome change of pace from french fries. Also, we had the oxtail soup the other night as a special and it was really tasty, with a wonderful burgundy sauce that had us asking for more bread to sop it up!

I have been here several times, and really hope this little neighborhood jewel makes it. The location is not the best...it has hosted the downfall of Nayarit (and sadly the death of best cuban sandwich ever) and Solstice. Thankfully, the Solstice folks decided to shake things up...and in a good way. Now with new tapas, entree and wine menus, the space has been reinvented into a cozy, relaxing destination with exceptionally good food at reasonable prices. I have not sampled any "big plates" (entrees) or the late night hookah menu, but the wines have been pleasing, and the "small plates" very tasty. The marinated olives are yummy in their tangy brine with white balsamic vinegar. The almonds are good -- when they are skinless. The yucca frittes are like crack - crispy, crunchy, salty, sweet, tangy goodness. They are topped with a bit of salsa verde and served with a dipping sauce...maybe a mint/yogurt? The beef/lamb meatballs are also tasty. You only get 3, but they make for good sharing. The chicken marsala appetizer...wow...again, just a plate of perfectly balanced tastes. The quail is decent. I was not a fan of the dates, but that's just personal taste. The only dish that has been "off" for me is the calamari. I've seen others below give it the thumbs up, but the night I had it, it was just rubbery and fish-done-gone-bad smelly. But I can live with that, as overall this place has a great vibe. Also, a very nice staff...no townie snoots present (my biggest complaint around here).

showed up on a friday night around 7- our group of 6 was seated right away. i have no idea why it wasn't packed- the food was fantastic and the waiter was helpful and attentive. the charred artichoke hearts with lemon aioli tied with the yucca fries for my favorite dish. the chicken "spanikopita" was creamy and comforting- a little salty for some, maybe, but i liked it. it was also a pretty large portion and after a couple small plates i ended up taking half of my entree home. overall, a great experience, even though we were one of maybe three tables occupied. maybe their scene starts later with the hookah crowd? anyway, we'll be back!

I came here for a happy hour on a Friday afternoon. The crab cakes and Southern Harvest are very popular here. Ziba's offers some great happy hour specials for $4 - $8. Hey did I mention his place is owneed by one of my Michigan State University alumni! I plan to return soon when I have more time to hang out. :) More at wp.me/p2Bf9p-46

Reserved a table for 6 Saturday night. They were out of mussels completely, out of steak, out of beer on tap, calamari was tough. Wish when we made the reservation they would have told us that due to the holiday weekend they were not ordering their usual inventory. It was very disappointing.

Reserved a table for 6 Saturday night. They were out of mussels completely, out of steak, out of beer on tap, calamari was tough. Wish when we made the reservation they would have told us that due to the holiday weekend they were not ordering their usual inventory. It was very disappointing.

Charming and romantic neighborhood bistro. Expect to see mostly locals gathering here for a drink or a group dinner. Great for a date or quiet meal with friends.

Great lunch. Sangria is light and flavorful. Found a new summer brew by Eagle Creek, Grass Roots; lemon lime heffweizen. Salmon wrap with broccoli salad was awesome.

Won't keep me from returning.

fantastic little neighborhood chestnut. food is simple, hearty, comfort fare. small, but enjoyable wine selection. service is a good balance between timely and hands-off. only caveat: they have a lovingly heavy hand with animal fats, resulting in salads and whatnot A BIT more than you bargained for. this is bistro loves you like your mama.

I came here for a happy hour on a Friday afternoon. The crab cakes and Southern Harvest are very popular here. Ziba's offers some great happy hour specials for $4 - $8.

My mom and I stopped here while visiting Atlanta, and we're so glad we did! Everything we tried was delicious, especially the tuna tartar. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area! It's a cute little wine bar with great ambiance.

If they are still serving the tres leches for desert - please get this, it is so delicious.

oh the calamari is killer. The hummus appitizer is blended with smoked paprika. One of the best appitizers i have had. Try the chicken livers they will do them for you on the rare side exquisitly. We had so much fun trying many different tapas selections. They were all prepared so well. We will return here many times. Hope to see you here!

I highly recommend Ziba's!!!!
