My roommate and I have an arrangement. Anytime I have to drive/pick her up from the airport, I get Willy's as payment. Needless to say, I've been to this Willy's a ton of times. The parking is generous, and although I've never actually eaten out on the patio, it looks good, with lots of seating. The people that work there have begun recognizing me too. Otherwise, it's the same excellent food and service as the others, and on days when I'm driving home, and I just don't feel like cooking, this is the Willy's that has bailed me out more than any of the other locations. My only knock on this place is the simple fact that I wished they were open on the weekends!

Willy's is my new favorite Mexican restaurant there food is very tasteful I have gone too three different ones. I never use to eat guacamole but I love it now. The quesadilla is the bomb. I have been there 5 days in one week what do you think also there lemonade to something good.

Willy's is my first choice for Latin food. I am always happy with the service. They know by heart that I never eat chips. The team there is a good one and each meal is a no stress affair when I get there. I recommend the Baja chicken for the "serious" eater.

This is a rating for their Sweet Tea. I forgot to talk about it in the first review. I thought their Sweet Tea was GREAT!!!! As a matter of fact I have had two people bring me back a large cup, with NO ice, of course. I am happy that I stopped here! WARNING - I like my tea sweet as hell. So I should let you know that I had to add water to this to bring the sugar down a notch. And that is how I like my tea!!!! I like the huge burrito too but I'd go here just to get some tea!

Willy's, perhaps my favorite Atlanta chain, is certainly deserving of a place in the Atlanta airport. Running on the tried and true burrito bar business model like Moe's, they serve standard Mexican fare (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc), with each customer picking exactly what they want on their dish. Unfortunately, not everything at this Willy's was quite the same. From the disheveledness and attitude of the staff, it was quite apparent we were at an airport. I mean I realize we're talking a food court burrito bar here-- but the service was a little rough around the edges. The food itself was on par with other Willys experiences. I always get veggie quesadillas with guacamole. But no green salsa! Why?!

Makes a good burrito. I have also had salads there and like them. quick lunch option, although this location can have parking problems around lunch.

I like this location. Very spacious and with a nice big patio for eating outside. Service was friendly fast like I like. Place if kept clean and food is great! I'll be a regular.

Great! depending on the time you could be in and out or waiting for a long time. But it is worth it!

Excellent! I went with my family and food was terrific. We tried the steak burrito, the chicken burrito, the veggie burrito, and a quesodilla all were very good and HUGE!!! We had so much food left over. The ladies working were very nice, friendly, and fast. I saw them making nachos for a lady in front of us and I couldn't stop thinking about them all night and the next day so I went back the following night and got the chicken nachos and they were yumm too!

Popped in for lunch, hoping to try the tortilla soup however the server was unable to explain what was actually in. I was in a hurry and was not prepared to try any other menu item but since I heard this soup is good, I plan to give it another try.

A place to go if you are hungry because the burritos are huge. Unfortunately they are also rather tasteless. I had the steak burrito cooked with cilantro and garlic. I'll have to take there word for it. This huge burrito had so little meat I only got to taste it about every third bite. This was my first visit and my wife like it so what can I say. It's a pleasant place with friendly service but a little more flavor would be nice.

I don't get willy's. Don't get me wrong, I got the concept...who doesn't like the Moe's like vibe, free chips and multiple salsa's station? What I don't get is people who love the flavor, because of all the burrito spots, I think Willy's has the least amount of flavor! Still, i'm not reviewing the place on what I already know (the flavor), having been to more than one Willy's location. Instead i'm reviewing it on the service I got, which was pretty good! Very quickly they took care of me, and didn't stutter at all when I requested a grilled chicken burrito bowl. There's a confusing sign over the veggies section that says corn salsa was extra, among other things, but I didn't notice an additional charge when I asked for the corn salsa. Lots of indoor space and outdoor tables make this an enjoyable spot to eat fresh food.

Great service, the food was good, they have king of pops! Great little spot. I will be back here soon since it is so close to work.

I usually don't spend my time writing reviews, but I feel that it's a must after a couple of experiences at the Virginia Ave location. The salad that my husband and I have had more than 20 times between this location and the Ponce location was terrible. I may have had 4 bites out of it. The cheese dip was lumpy and didn't taste good at all. $23.00 thrown away. My previous experience was not good either, but my husband wanted to give it another try because he didn't want to drive to Ponce. He vowed to not make that mistake again. The workers seem like they don't know how the food is suppose to look and taste. Take a chance if you want to just because it has the Willy's name...I don't advise that you do. I am not happy at all and I am hungry for a real salad from the Ponce location.:-(

It's fairly busy Mexican joint during lunch time. They are fairly fast in terms of service and offer the normal amenities in terms of quick Mexican food... burritos, quesadillas, and tacos. I ordered a burrito and had water on the side. The free chips it comes with are decent, but not spectacular. The salsa isn't anything I would rave about. The burrito is pretty good and for a $6.50 lunch price, I would come again. But it's not anything I would drive a long way to come back here.

Willy's provides quick, not that cheap, so-called Mexican food... I've visited several times and found it to be all things mediocre. The meats, the sides, the sauces... cardboard is the predominant taste. My most recent visit consisted of ordering the Grande Beef Quesadilla which is supposed to come with salsa, sour cream and guacamole... The "chef" put one small dollop of sinewy and chewy beef in the flour tortilla... no "Grande" there... The garnish station kept asking me if I wanted the sides, which are supposed to come with the dish, to which I kept saying, yes, that's why I ordered the "grande".... totally clueless. The thing cost me close to $7 and wasn't worth $4. They don't bus the tables very often and the condiment/drink bar is disgusting. Last time. Won't return.

Contrary to their marketing, they do NOT deliver unless it's a catered event.

I have tried to eat at this place, this location to be exact, for the past several years but every single time i have gone to it the lousy place has been closed. I have been there at 2, 3, 4pm and it has been closed each time. It is not like i have been there at 3 in the morning. You say "well they are only open for lunch". So. I dont want to go there for lunch. I want to go late in the afternoon or early evening. It is not like this place is some small mom and pop restaurant. Willy's is a fairly big chain restaurant so it does not make any sense to only open for lunch. Willy's is the only restaurant on the Virginia Avenue exit that does this. It's ridiculous and the more i think about it the more pissed off i get. If they want good reviews or customers for that matter they have to keep their lousy doors open and serving. Also, in the description for this place it says they deliver. Are you kidding me? They cant even stay open let alone deliver. Here's the kicker....they are closed on Saturdays.

Oh man, I love Willy's!! There are three other Atlanta locations that I frequent, but I decided to write a review about this location because I come here the most often due to it's proximity to my office. That being said, Willy's does get very, very crowded during lunchtime, usually filled with Delta folks (as is every other eatery in the area), which also means that parking can sometimes be hard to get. Still, considering the price and the overall quality of the food, Willy's is hard to beat. Typically, I'll get the tofu burrito in a bowl (the regular burritos are just too large), and the coworkers that I'll go with tend to get quesadillas or the super nachos. And even better, if I bring in a catering rack (my company caters from Willy's all the time... save the racks that the catering trays are placed on), I get 50% off my purchase! Wow, how amazing is that? In addition, the people that work here are especially nice, and they are good at asking each and every customer "hello, how are you?" despite the crowd. If I could, I would eat at Willy's everyday for the rest of my life. Just forget Chipotle, Moe's, Qdoba... I give Willy's ten stars!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
