Just alright, pizza just not my fave, but not terrible. Ordered for a large group and picked up for work function. The veggie was alright, I didn't try any of the other flavor a to gauge. Id say eating in might be better bc it'll be fresher, some of the pies were a lil soggy.

This was probably the worst pizza experience I've ever had.Sorry. I don't enjoy giving bad reviews but man, this place deserves it. My fiance and I were hungry late one (week) night and were in the Cobb Pkwy area so we pulled into a familiar complex where there are several eateries we enjoy . We originally wanted Chipotle but it was already closed. Our next choice was GRUB, the new burger joint right next to Chipotle, we'd had it before and loved it but their line was way too long and we were starving. So we spotted Maddios and I remembered how many times we'd passed this place wanting to give it and shot. There seemed to be hardly anyone in there (BAD SIGN, but I thought, "who could mess up pizza?") so we went for it. My initial impression was positive, the setup and ambiance inside said: "cool pizza joint". I loved how it was set up like a chipotle where you choose your toppings and how much of each thing you want. So we joined the line of about three people and browsed the menu. Everything SOUNDED great but when we got to the front of the line my stomach churned , the food area was FILTHY. Now, a little mess is understandable, especially because of the way the pizza is made but this place was nasty. The counters were dirty, the floor was dirty and the sinks didn't look like they had been wiped down in years. I tried to ignore this and chopped the filth up to the fact that only two people were working...one on the cash register and the other making the pizzas. I figure they didn't have a chance to clean...but still, yuck! Then I noticed something else if that wasn't bad enough...with each order the guy making the pizzas would leave his station to go get the dough, walk back into the kitchen and walk back out (about 200 feet) with the dough in his bare hands, no bowl, nothing. That may not have been so bad if the whole area surrounding him wasn't already so dirty, but that combined with the filth was not a good sight to see. So I was already turned off but we were already there and hungry so I decided to proceed with my order anyway and hoped the taste of the pizza would at least be good. My favorite pizza is BBQ chicken so naturally that's what I ordered and the guy rolled out my dough and then started adding the sauce ---MARINARA SAUCE. I had to stop him and politely say, "sir, I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza" . He said, "oh yeah I know, this is how we make it". I just stood there in awe because I'd never seen someone make BBQ pizza with marinara sauce before in my life. Because, what then makes it BBQ? The little bit of chicken on top? Anyway, again my hunger dictated the situation and I was happy when it was time to pay for the food so we can sit down and dig in. We got to the cashier and I thought I'd seen dirt before but mannnnnnn. her screen where she rang up the orders was dusty like the sahara desert and all around her station was just full of gunk . EWWW. We quickly paid for our food which was very overpriced and waited for our pizza. Keep in mind, our cashier ran off to the back after ringing up our order so there was no one to tell us that at maddios you dont wait for your order, you sit down and the pizza is brought out to you, so there we are standing there like idiots. Finally we figured it out and sat down. Five mins later the food came out. I'd ordered a Caesar salad and it came first...but the server had to apologize because they were out of CAESAR DRESSING!!!!! WHATTTT????? How in the heck can you be out of caesar dressing for the caesar salad. So he bought be french instead. So I put french dressing on my Caesar salad y'all. Anyway, the food came and it was EXTREMELY hot which was good and it looked pretty decent so we dug in. Well, just like I figured, my BBQ pizza with marinara was horrible. It tasted nothing like BBQ pizza and it actually didn't taste good for any kind of pizza. My fiance ordered some type of pizza with goat cheese which was nasty as well. I was so disappointed that we paid $30 for that horrible experience. NEVER, EVER EAT HERE if you like good food, reasonable prices and a clean dining experience.

Options. I love the ability of having options. For some people, it may be exhausting, cause anxiety, and maybe even result in choice overload. But for me, it brings me sweet happiness because I love the ability to pick and choose. The more, the merrier. And here at Maddio's, I have a lot to choose from! I can't say that I've been to a whole lot of pizza places, but I'm very familiar with delivery pizza and I don't ever recall viewing any menu's that compare to the choices you have here for the dough, sauce and toppings. When it comes to pizza's, for whatever reason (still haven't figured it out), I prefer to be a vegetarian. Maybe it's because I feel like I can eat more of the pizza in one sitting because it's less filling? I don't know, but I must say that I'm very impressed with the selection of veggies. Celery? Cilantro? Garlic? Black bean corn salsa? I like it! Aside from the veggies, I really like the fact that you can either choose whole wheat dough, gluten free or traditional. I can't say that I'll choose the wheat crust all of the time, but I like the fact that it's there if I feel like I need to incorporate more fiber into my diet for that day. So after saying all of this, you'd think that I went all out with the toppings, right? Nope, unfortunately I didn't because when I walked in I was just far too hungry, so I ordered the simplest pizza ever: black olive cheese pizza. Lame, right? Lol Anyways, it didn't take long for the pizza to be prepared and baked since I went with the smallest size available. Since it came to my table piping hot, I had to postpone my first bite. That's cool, no complaints here, I just had to endure an extra few minutes of torture as my mouth watered at the sight and smell of the pizza. After a few minutes elapsed, I was able to take my first bite. First impressions: not bad, quite tasty. I like the fact that the crust wasn't too thick or thin and had a nice crunch. The sauce was tangy, which I prefer, and the cheese was spot on. Also, the black olives were generously distributed and tasted fresh. Overall, good pizza, I look forward to returning so I can be a little more adventurous with the toppings!

My favorite spot for pizza! The dough/crust is the right amount, especially since I'm not a fan of thick dough pizza.

I have a class nearby to this location and have been numerous times. I come in usually around 5pm, so it's always pretty empty. That being said - I find the service here faster and more efficient than at other Maddio's locations. Not un-friendly by any means, but more efficient. And I'm comparing it to other locations I have frequented also at calm times of the day. I like their pizza, I love the variety of toppings, and the combo deals can't be beat. A 'personal' pizza is 9 inches, but for the combo you get any 2 of the following: a 6 inch pizza plus, salad, soup, plus a fountain drink. It's a liiittle bit more food than I should be eating at one sitting, but I ALWAYS finish the whole thing because it's tasty. =) I recommend experimenting with toppings. One last thing, if you join their frequent customer club, you don't get an annoying card that you will always forget! They just have you input your phone number. Every 10th visit - free entree.
