Hot dang! You have gotta try this place! The Wife and I stopped in here before a show at the Fox. I had the Island Curry Wrap and was thoroughly pleased! One word of advice: sit at one of the regular tables. We tried sitting at one of the traditional short tables with the wrap around benches because it looked like fun, but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Try eating a messy wrap while having to bend way over to make sure none gets on your clothes. Recipe for messy floors. That said, this is our new go-to spot for Fox shows.

Wandered in for lunch and ordered a gyro here the other day. The lamb was decent (I tried the chicken too, which was much to dry) and the toppings were nice a fresh. Portion sizes were pretty decent too. Had the baklava for dessert, and like everything else, it was fine and good. I wouldn't mind coming back here again for lunch if I'm in the area.

Ordered from Grubhub. Food came rather quickly. The order was wrong, we received two wraps which we only ordered one and not the other meal we ordered. We also ordered a greek salad and its tasted as the dressing was bad. Only good part of food was the baklava. Will not order from here again. Very disappointed

Ordered multiple times off Grubhub and each time delivery takes 1hr 30min to 1hr 45min. Every single time new delivery driver asks me where to park even though I tell manager every time same thing happens. This time I asked for a coke. They put it in the same bag and it spilled and got all over my food. So unprofessional. How can a place .5 mile away take 1hr to deliver after they are supposedly trying to make nice for last times 2hr delivery? Poorly managed. Don't order from here.

While visiting the great city of Atlanta, I felt lost. I'm in Midtown. I expected there to be more hustle and bustle and although it's a really cool part of town, there wasn't much around where you could just grab a bite and go. I saw Pita's Republic and got excited because who doesn't like Mediterranean food? I got the Mediterranean salad with Chicken and boy did I get bang for my buck! If this place were in L.A., it would be packed 24/7. My chicken is delicious and the salad is huge. It came with pita, hummus, tahini, and the salad is packed with romaine lettuce, carrots, mediterranean seasoned rice, cucumbers, tomato, black olives... I am very happy with my purchase and the staff was lovely. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the hummus has a little too much lemon for my taste. Still delicious! Get with the program, HotLanta! I live in a city with a huge middle eastern community and Pita's Republic is the real deal. Trust.

Wanted a quick and close place to Emory Hospital. This is a couple blocks away, directly across the street from the Bank of America building. The restaurant is divided into tables and a lounge area, which looks like it is sometimes used for hookah. The general atmosphere gets about 2 stars. The tables seem cheap and it takes a couple tries to find one that doesn't wobble. They advertise their food as healthy and nutritious but I don't feel like I just ate at Whole Foods. On the plus side, it was cheap (around $8 per person) and tasted good. L

It was a very definitive A-OK. I had their special of the day, and it tasted exactly what would have happened if I went to Kroger, got chicken, and slapped in on some pita bread with some toppings.

I really wanted to like this place...I really did. A healthy, walkable place to get a simple gyro? It fails miserably no matter how many times I go. I usually try to give a place at least 2 visits before I give a negative Yelp review but I gave this place 7+ visits before I just had enough. That's how badly I wanted me and Pita's Republic to work out. They always mess up my order, they never add items I request or leave out items I ask to be left out. Plus they take FOREVER to make my plate. One time it took them 40 minutes to create my fish plate. There was only 3 of us in the restaurant and after checking up on my plate for the 3rd time, they realized they did not have my order anywhere in existence. How do you mess up that badly when there are only 3 of us in the store? Not to mention the fountain drink dispensary is always full of water. ....Yes, I said that correctly...If I add a fountain drink to my order and go to the dispenser, 9 times out of 10 the drink I want has now been replaced with water. Therefore, I usually have to settle for the bane of my existence, diet coke.....which of course, is always there. Finally, there may or may not be someone at the counter to greet you. So you're just sitting in a hot restaurant waiting for someone to take your order. In terms of the food, I'm not gonna lie. It's tasty but not at all mind-blowing. I can seriously find better if I wanted to drive. There are many places I'd give a 4 star to if the food was awesome, but the service needs a serious upgrade before I'd ever step foot again.

Place needs a little cleaning up.. Stuff everywhere. Food is ok. Chicken had no flavoring at all when I got the chicken gyro. Regular gyro was ok but had a couple pieces of wilted lettuce. The only reason I gave this place a 2 star is because on the uncleanliness of the place. Food timing was good.

I always seem to find myself at pita's republic under the exact same circumstances: hustling back to the North Ave MARTA station to catch a late train home. Gyros are the perfect food for soaking up whatever brand of debauchery I've been getting into. Having said that, they put together a decent pita for the price and the service is always friendly.

I popped in to get something to smuggle into a movie, a few days before their "grand opening". I opted for the hummus and falafel pita and got disappointed that they had run out of falafel. The manager told me I would love the eggplant, so we ran with it. The sandwich had sooooo much stuff on it - hummus, tabouli, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, tahini and zatziki - it was hard to taste the eggplant. The only reason I knew it was there? It was the only item that was hot. Okay, so I was eating it in the dark, but I should be able to taste ingredients without seeing them, shouldn't I? While my pita was being prepared I noticed that little grill thingy that the previous occupant used was gone. The only heating device was a microwave; that's probably why the lamb was so bad. Made a note to self to never order anything that is supposed to be served hot. Like a previous reviewer said, there are many, many choices on the menu, and some of the combinations don't sound appetizing. Stick with the vegetarian options. I always feel guilty ordering out what I know I can make at home, and make it the way I like it. I've got hummus, zatziki and taboule down... I'll learn to make falafels so I can have them anytime I want!

I'm disappointed that this place only gets a 2.5 overall, for food it certainly deserves a 4. But if you add the interior and service I can see how it drops to less. Although the pita's are very difficult to eat due to the large amount of food inside (everything kinda falls apart when you unwrap the aluminum foil). They are filled with delicious meats, sauces and veggies. Worth a try for the flavors.

I tried to pay wit the credit card and they asked me if I could pay with credit (even though there was a sign showing that the take credit cards). After I gave them cash they did not have change. I asked why they did not use the credit card machine, and I was told "that it was slow." I personally think that it is a tax evasion schema. The food was not good. Baklava hardly had any nuts. Humus was good. Gyro meat was cold and not very fresh.

Ordered delivery from this place and it was extremely questionable. The chicken was cube shaped and dry and it smelled like Taco Bell upon arrival. The decent falafel was a saving grace. 2 stars yall.

Ok so this place around the corner from my job so i have frequented it a couple times and finally decided to write a review. The food is pretty good i typically get the lamb shank platter which is about $10 and it is delicious but that's now why i give this place 4 stars. I give this place 4 stars because of the service that i receive every time i go here. There is an older gentleman that works at the cashier that is very courteous and concerned with your experience at the location. My food always comes out fresh and fast and he checks in to make sure that everything is alright. The staff on the line also are very nice and always give my hummus hungry friend his fix for free when we go. They also give me extra pita bread every time i go. Once i ordered through eat24 and my food came wrong not only did they remake my meal they sent me a free baklava for the inconvenience. They keep my business by providing genuine service and good food.

I have to be honest, this was literally the worst pita I have ever had or expect to ever have in my entire life. I regret every penny I spent on this meal. My dog would question it's quality.

Had a free sandwich card I was getting punched for a year. I finally reached my free sandwich and they told me no because the card was expired (there is no expiration date). Rotten way to run a business. Vote with your feet.

I have never had a problem here. The food is always FRESH & healthy and I've been here on several locations. The lettuce they use is quality (not that awful no nutrient iceberg lettuce) pita is warm and delicious. Chicken is white meat and seasoned well. It's a good spot for a quick, healthy meal to eat. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but I think they're improving on that. Overall, I love it for what it is!

  • Ron M.

Bottomline: the flavor is definitely NOT on the same level of Mediterranean grill on 10th and Monroe (which i frequent). But, i'll give it 3 stars because the service wasnt bad and they don't hesitate to pile the food on. If Mediterranean grill gave this much meat in their wraps, i'd probably be there 3+ times a week

I went here with a few coworkers for lunch. I had the Mystic Pita with chicken and thought it was pretty good. The bread itself was good and I liked the flavor. The Backyard BBQ wrap was liked as well. I think some of the menu items are big "misses," though...for example one of my coworkers got the turkey wrap and it tasted like something you'd get pre-wrapped out of a display case at an airport. One of the previous reviewers gave a thumbs-down to the lamb, and I'm giving thumbs-down to the deli turkey wrap, so maybe chicken is the way to go. All said, we've been back once already since our first try and might go back today. I wouldn't make a big trip for it, but it's very convenient for us from work and we like it enough to walk on over again.

Just awful. The place smelled bad, there was a homeless guy just chilling in the corner (though not related to the smell). The menu had too many choices, none of the them particularly appealing and the chicken I did order was completely dry and tasteless. Avoid like the plague.

We happened upon this place during our Sunday walk. It is located in the old Gorin's location under the Windsor Over Peachtree. Their menu consists of pitas, wraps, salads and smoothies with a Mediterranean twist. My husband had a regular Gyro while I opted for a Veggie Pita with avocado spread. The pitas were packed full of very fresh ingredients. The place is clean and nothing fancy. A great healthy fast food alternative with a very friendly staff!
