Perhaps I was wrong about Moe's. Most people try and play the Moe's versus Chipotle vs Willy's argument. If you are going on burrito's, I tend to stay with Chipotle --- BUT, have you had the "Wrong Doug?" That is my recommendation. It is a fancy Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme that you can add all the ingredients you want. My "Dougie" artist did look at me strange when I said "All of it" when she asked what I wanted on my Crunchwrap Supreme. I had to say everything individually -- yes both fresh jalapenos and pickled jalapenos -- but the food was filling and delicious. I do love my salsa and Coke Freestyle machine. Vanilla Coke is prime at the moment. I love you Moe's....you can teach me how to Dougie.

We were debating dinner last night and I finally won with Moe's! I wanted to use online ordering because I hate trying to get orders across on the phone with most the other restaurants. We got two homewreckers (my standby, his first time ever even eating a burrito). Also got queso of course. The homewreckers were exactly as we ordered- not one issue. The food was ready when they said it would be and still hot by the time we got home. The online ordering was super easy. It's nice to have another choice of take out.

Moes is my absolute favorite place to grab a scrumptious burrito. Ive been going to moes for about 4 years now and it never disappoints me. I always go for the "homewrecker" im the type that like its all, I want the works. I also love their salsas. Im sure they make it in house cuz not every one tastes the same. I love this location. The staff is super nice always chatty.. Place is always exceptionally clean and the awesome coca-cola soda machine with 106 diff. Combinations is a nice addition. To me it just doesnt get any better than a late lunch at moes.

As the immediate area is hard to find with quick-serve food (other than McDonlad's and a BK down the street fruther), this Moe's hits the spot when I have some time to kill before I go to church (which is about 2-3 blocks away). This place is on the corner, and you cannot miss- there is parking in the front, and back as well- plenty of spots. Hell- they even have a patio in the front and back too. The nice thing about the back patio is there is a door to to get in so you don't have to walk on the street to get to the other side/inside. I parked in the back, walked in, and was cheerfully greeted. I got my usual (Steak Joey, rice, black beans, queso, cheese, and salsa). I got a coke too... As I was checking out, I saw that they had a Coke Freestyle (hell yea- what I would do for one in my basement!)- so I couldn't wait to get and Orange Coke!. So I got my napkins, salsa, etc... And as I was getting to the Freestyle, the damn thing was empty on just about everything- which sucked, because all I wanted was some caffiene and sugar- that didn't happen- hell, I couldn't even get water- I had to get a cherry water! That was a huuuuge bummer for me, I mean, it almost ruined my day. Not really, but it did suck! The food was decent, it was warm. The drink, well it was cherry water. There are plenty of seats and a few tv's with sportscenter on them- that distracted me while I was eating. All in all it was an alright meal, but if the Freestyle was humming with all 160+ flavors, this meal would have been out of the park!

I adore Moe's, and their salsa verde is not to be missed! I'm a huge fan of their chicken, and their tofu is delicious too!

Fast, consistent, flavorful food. And right next door to work. I love the people that work here, too. They are always so friendly and they get you in and out quickly. They even remember what I get and ask if I want the "usual." The other day, one of the workers came around and picked up our food trays, saw that I had used all my napkins, and brought me more! So nice! I love their salsa bar and the "infinite possibilities" drink machine - although they really need another one!

Second place I've eaten at in Atlanta. There's plenty of (free) parking (front and back). Then menu's pretty basic, you could add free ingredients, the burrito is pretty big and tasty. But I'm not too picky unless something is really off. Meal comes with chips, there's a salsa bar. I didn't order from the kids' menu, but there is one if anyone was curious/needed to know.

Every Moe's' I've been to are the same, so I'll write my review under this location. I think it's better than Willy's, but not better than Qdoba or Chipotle. I only get the steak taco there, which is pretty good. There is a taco they have there that is huge, and it's good as a meal (including the chips they give you). So, if you want to eat out, but not spend over 4 bucks, give that a try. My main complaint is their meat quality. I won't even get the chicken. It doesn't look right at all.

Fan-freakin'-tastic. I had to fight traffic, get my (now lukewarm) Homewrecker, and go back to the stop-and-go traffic. I hate that I cannot trust my favorite burrito place for my quick-order needs. I *so* want to. But I don't have time, gas, or hunger to waste.

I was running late to ATL aiport, yet I needed to grab some food as I had a meeting in Miami as soon as I arrived. Moe's was the obvious choice as I was driving due to the proximity and the traffic was bit heavy, at that point might as well stop. As soon as you walk in everyone greets you! Meaning they recognize newly walked in customers! The portions were more than enough and the freshness of the food was fantastic, to make it even better without knowing I walked when they had their $5.00 special going on and I didnt pay more than $8.00 dollars for a full meal with sparkling water. Did I also mention that it took me less than two minutes from walking in to sitting down with my food? Excellent! Only reason for not giving it 5 starts is due to the feel of the restaurant, even thou it is clean it feels quite old.

I used to be a die-hard Chipotle fan but one visit to Moe's and I think i'm a die-hard Moe's fan now! Things I love about Moe's: 1. hormone-free meat or organic tofu 2. $5 burritos on mondays! 3. tons of toppings (you can choose beans AND peppers AND many other veggies and salsa, not just one or the other like at chipotle) 4. free chips and salsa with your order 5. ample parking Love love love!

There are several places similar to Moe's, such as Chipotle or Willy's. I've only been to this Moe's, but the servers were really fast and very friendly. The food was pretty standard for this type of a restaurant.

Not bad, but passable food. The menu is quite impressive. We ordered tortilla-free burritos with extra (two scoops) chicken. Fresh veggies, good salsa selection. I wish we had this in my neighborhood instead of Chipotle. Two things, though. First, the servers did not readily understand our orders, so we had to repeat ourselves many times. Second, I'm not sure if this is a standard practice in Atlanta...but the restroom doors were locked. Understandable, considering that some people could walk in only to use the restrooms, BUT what bothered me is that they had NO SIGN on the door to indicate that you had to ask the cashier for the key. Thus, I stood there cluelessly for some time while my food at the table got cold, assuming that the toilet was occupied. Quite inconsiderate, no??

I don't come here as much as I should. I walk by here every time I go to the grocery store (and every time I go to McDonald's), but for some reason it's not the first on my mind when I think of quick places to eat in my neighborhood. Tonight that changed and I decided to head up there to try their new pulled pork. Yum. Yum. Yum. I like that I get greeted when I walk through the front door. Yeah, it's kind of cheesy, but it's better than not being acknowledged at all (I think we can all relate to that). I also like how quickly it is to get in and get out of here. The front parking lot is a little awkward... I guess that's just one more reason to walk instead of drive.

A great design-your-own-burrito-on-a-budget place. i LOVE that they slag on McDonald's owned Chipotle in one of their wall illustrations "Don't buy your lunch from a clown". Genius. Long live Moe's!

Moe's was not one of my favorites for awhile, but since it is right next to work is sure has become a favorite! Especially this location! Not only do they welcome you with a welcoming loud greeting "Welcome to Moe's" (every joint says this) but every staff member is amazing! They are always smiling, always making my order perfect the way I ask for it, and fast too without it being all messy. The salsa bar is always full, as well as drink tops, straws, and eating utensils. The restaurant is always clean and they area always coming around to clean it more! Everyone seems to get along well with each other unlike other locations I have been to where they started cursing at each other for not doing something. If that happens here they all laugh and joke about it, push it to the side, and move on! The lines are never too long of a wait, even today. I came on 99 cent burrito day! I waited for 16 minutes which to me wasn't long at all since the line was well out the door! They had two tents to keep us out of the sun, a face panting woman, and a spot to enter a couple contests. Smart idea guys! Of course there was your typical "buckheadiens "complaining about the heat, waiting time, etc etc, but c'mon! They're practically giving us a burrito for free! Why the complaining?? Parking can sometimes be a nightmare, but if your a patient person then it's no problem. There is plenty of seating space inside as well as two patio's. One in the front and one in the back. Again, I know I've ranted about how great the staff is, but they really are. Especially for a fast food joint. I would HIGHLY recommend THIS location vs. any other!

I know all the names of the food changed in the last few years - but the tacos that used to be called the "Ugly Naked Guy" I like those I get a Soft Ugly Naked guy topped with grilled veggies, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, cilantro, and lots of guacamole! Then I get a side of the cheese dip! YUM i love cheese dip! I could just drink it.... I could live off of it! I will live off of it! YUMMY! yeh, so back to the cheese dip that with the chips and also all the insides of my taco fall out on the plate and i eat that with the chips too so it's like the best nachos/taco ever!

WELCOME TO MOE'S! I love Moes! My favorite thing to order is a fajita burrito with a side of queso for my chips. Their chunky salsa is my favorite of all Mexican restaurant chains. My daughter loves their steak tacos. So now that I'm thinking about it...I'm going to pick up dinner from there!

I like Moe's. I like the campy "Welcome to MOE'S!" when you walk through the door. I love, love, love the southwestern chicken cobb salad. It's clean in there, the staff is friendly, and the food is tasty.

This place is fast food at its finest. The food is tasty, the meat is free range chickens and hormone free beef : ) It's like the mexican food version of subway. Not a huge menu, I had the steak fajitas, and it was a pretty good portion.

I find this place annoying on so many levels. Annoying that it copied local Willy's in almost every way. Annoying that they yell out "Welcome to Moe's" everytime a customer enters. Annoying that the menu has cutesy names for its burrios (i.e. Joey Baggadonuts, Whislte Me Dixie or some other namescan't remember or care to remember). The food itself is pretty blah. I don't care for the heavily lime juice based marinade on the chicken and meat, it over powers everything. I also don't like that the meats are grilled ahaead of time and chunked up into miniscule pieces. I also find that the burritos are always cold by the time I pay and get to my table. The procedure of steaming the tortillas before adding ingredients makes for a mushy and soggy shell for the fillings. I could go on, but you catch my drift.

Among all the competition my burrito business in Atlanta, this Moe's wins my heart. Hands down. I've been a big fan of Moe's for a while, but I like this location the best ... not just because it's walking distance from my condo, but mainly because they're always friendly here and very efficient. Come during lunchtime on a Friday and even though the line is out the door, you'll be eating your tasty burrito in no time. The staff here are plentiful at the busiest times of day and they form an ultra-efficient turbo burrito-making assembly line behind the counter that never fails to whisk you into black bean heaven in 5 minutes or less. I was chatting it up with one of the manager ladies that I see here often and she told me that this location is a training location for Moe's corporate. They fly wannabe Moe's burrito makers to Atlanta to shadow this restaurant's operation. I think that is awesome. Try the chipotle ranch dipping sauce. It's tasty.

I'm not picky with my burritos or restaurants. I just want a clean place with at least decent food. I understand human error, but this place gave me a chicken burrito instead of tofu. When I got it replaced (after a refund), I got a tofu burrito complete with a hair in my chips. Needless to say, I was put off my lunch. I don't think I'll be coming back. It's a shame because I love their hot sauce.

YUMMY! yeh, so back to the cheese dip that with the chips and also all the insides of my taco fall out on the plate and i eat that with the chips too so it's like the best nachos/taco ever!

A great design-your-own-burrito-on-a-budget place. i LOVE that they slag on McDonald's owned Chipotle in one of their wall illustrations "Don't buy your lunch from a clown". Genius. Long live Moe's!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
