I first tried Moe's during a roadtrip through Indiana and totally loved their salsa bar et al. This foodcourt Moe's in ATL totally did not live up to the same standard. The food was watery and soggy and just not as fresh or tasty. I'm not sure whether this was because it was in ATL or if it's the nature of foodcourt food in general. We had the veggie quesadilla and veggie taco salad, both of which were average. I mean really for the prices you're paying, which are totally not "foodcourt" prices but rather much higher, you expect quality and freshness. This place fails to deliver on it. The one thing this chain scores on is their vegetarian-friendliness!

I ordered the Art Vandalay with guac burrito. The burrito was good...I would have appreciated if they had fresh grilled vegetables. But the beans were well seasoned and the burrito and free house made chips were filling and satisfying.

Moes used to be my go to spot in college after subway got old. It's still the same go to spot when I'm hungry and this location is fast and efficient. Yes, my Joey bag of donuts meal is packing a ton of carbs and enough to feed a small army of kids but hits the spot. Their toppings are perfect for what I like: sour cream, pico, diced jalapeños, cilantro and cheese. They also now carry siracha, which is a huge plus. I swear the same guy that always takes my order has been there ever since I started working downtown 10 yrs ago, and that would be a reason why they are so fast and efficient. Even the cash register lady has been there a long time. Will be hitting them up more often now that chick fil a in CNN center has burned me for the last time. 4 stars for the efficient and fast service, 3 for the food.

I stopped by this Moe's at CNN Center on my way to an Atlanta Hawks game at adjacent Philips Arena. This Moe's is very small and compact, yet has the same menu and churns out all the same food as any other Moe's. Moe's is known for its large Mission-style burritos a la Chipotle, Willy's, Qdoba, Bell Street, etc. They also serve quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, nachos, taco salads, and rice bowls. Moe's menu items have unique and potentially confusing names since they have nothing to do with the content of the food. Most names are references to film and pop culture, such as Kaiser Salsa (reference to Keyser Soze from movie The Usual Suspects) and Billy Barou nachos (reference to movie Caddyshack). Two of my favorite things to order at Moe's are the John Coctostan quesadilla and the Fat Sam fajita, both references to the movie Fletch. I had a Homewrecker burrito with chicken this time around. Other meat options included grass-fed steak, pulled pork, ground beef, and organic tofu. I ordered it on a whole grain tortilla. You can also get flour. I had the burrito stuffed with black beans and rice, shredded cheese and lettuce, salsa, and jalapenos. This worked out to be about $8. If I wanted to add a fountain drink and side (e.g. beans, rice, queso dip, guac) to my order, it would have come out a few dollars more. The burrito also came with free chips and salsa. The burrito was wrapped in Moe's foil wrap and placed in a paper bag with chips thrown on top along with small plastic containers of salsa. Napkins and other condiments were available at a small stand inside the store. Moe's burritos are huge and filling and this Homewrecker was no exception. My burrito was made-to-order and was served to me almost instantly. It was so temperature hot, I had to let it cool off first. I'm not crazy about Moe's burritos and oily chips, but they do suffice in quenching any hunger pangs I may have. The ingredients were fresh and I'm sure the many hungry Hawks fans helped keep new replenishments coming. I like that you can customize the burrito down to every last ingredient. That's always a plus.

I haven't even eaten here yet and I'm already upset. Decided to have lunch for my birthday at Moe's for the free entree...6 days after my birthday and no free entree. At least four calls to corporate and apologizes and no e-mail confirmation. And No they can't just gve me the free food cause that would be against policy. Never again. Unacceptable Moe's....unacceptable.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
