Where do I begin? I've come here before, only to not be given a student discount because I didn't show my student ID in time. "hehehe, you were too slow! No discount for you!". Unlike *other* Moe's that give you a drink along with your burrito for the $5.55 Moe Monday, this place doesn't. The chips are stale and the salsa bar looked as if it were raided by Genghis Khan's army. Unclean, stale food, rude and ornery service. No, no, and no. Did I mention that these people close at 6:00 pm? And the Moe's over on Piedmont stays open until 9:00 pm? What are these people thinking? No wonder that that other Moe's gets all of the attention and this place gets bad reviews, like this one. This place is awful. The best thing to do would be to get new staff and a remodeling job. Thank you.

Skimpy on every ingredient, rude workers, not even close to the moes you get at other locations.

Still not sure if I enjoyed my meal here. I was famished and couldn't think straight while scarfing it down. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and stuffed it full of cheese and veggies. Even though I was eating vegetables, everything still tasted so processed. The employee that prepared my meal was new, and didn't understand English too well. The setup was a bit off for me, just seemed too small. Also, no one told me that my kids' meals came with a cookie. Before this visit to Moe's, I hadn't been to one in years, and now I remember why. No more Moe's for me.

Horrible! Just plain Horrible. Very little ingredients put in burrito. The portion size doesn't fit the amount you pay. $8 for a burrito you would expect it to be loaded and fat. Not here. This is the worse Moes Employees are not friendly and rush you through the line while skimping your burrito. I will never be back to this location Moes corporate should investigate this location Wish we could give negative stars!

Let me just start by saying this place is horrendous. I've always been a fan of Moes and I still am, but this Moes is something you need to stay away from. From the utterly horrible service to the constant visits to the bathroom, I would rather walk 10 miles, barefoot, on nails, to eat someplace other than this. Luckily there's many other restaurants literally feet away that you won't hate as much as this place. Don't risk trying this place. You'll wish you hadn't even seen this place to begin with.

The chips where gross. Stuck together and stale. They tried putting as little into my burrito as possible with the exception of rice. There are a ton of other places around to eat I won't be back.

Only reason I even come to this Moe's is because it's nearby campus, of walking distance. It's aiiiight.. lol. They're pretty stingy on how much of the sides they give. I barely got any chips, and the guy barely gave me any tomato salsa in my burrito. I had to ask for more. It's an okay spot to go to to have lunch, if you're in the area, and craving a burrito, but otherwise, it's better just to hold out and go to a better one elsewhere. They are open later than most businesses on that strip so that's a plus.

Ok, most of the negative reviews of this joint are generally pretty accurate -- but I vouch to say you would never run into more than one (ok, maybe two) of these negatives on a particular visit. You're at the Moe's right near Underground Atlanta so there are a lot of vagabonds in the area (over lunch last week, we watched some guy sleeping while standing up right outside -- it was more disturbing than anything). The tables are sometimes dirty -- due to high turnover of customers, and they often appear understaffed to keep up with everything when it's really busy during peak lunch times. The salsa bar (which is a bonus!) is not necessarily hawk-eyed by the staff, so it routinely runs out (expect to wait several minutes for a restock) and is often a little messy thanks to customers who can't manage to use a ladle and sauce cup. I've also had questionable tasting salsa on one occassion. The people who work there are not well versed in English and the other day, the girl who checked me out looked like she miiiiight try to set me on fire with her eyes -- BUT... The food at this Moe's is very good, overall! They have the best queso for a Moe's in the downtown area (at least versus the CNN location) and the chips are always crunchy and fresh. Toppings appear fresh and I've never had a problem expressing which I did (or did not) want to include in my meal. There's one guy that usually mans the register who is actually quite friendly and nice. I love getting the burritos but have also had the quesadillas. A friend of mine always gets a salad and says they're pretty good. When weather permits (assuming you don't mind the vagabonds downtown), there is nice outdoor seating across the street. Bottom line: It's cheap, chain Mexican food. It's also one of the only Mexican-inspired food options in the general downtown business district, so I continue coming here. On many occassions, if I'm in the mood for Mexican at work, it's my very first choice.

I can't believe I'm creating a Yelp account to review a freakin' Moe's, but here we are. Ok, let me start by saying I knew better. I KNEW BETTER. It's been at least five years since I've eaten at Moe's, because...well because Moe's is gross. You know it's true. And not good gross like Taco Bell. However, I had tacos on the brain, and having exhausted the usual downtown lunch spots, thought that not even Moe's could screw up a taco. Well, WELCOME TO MOE'S! Everything corn-based was stale. The chicken was undercooked. The guacamole was frozen (and to add insult to injury, was not actually in the taco, it was just like in the general area). This might be the worst meal I've ever had, and I've literally eaten garbage.

This place smelled pretty bad when I came here. The floor was sticky and the unfriendly atmosphere created by the staff just made this place really uncomfortable to be in. The food was just not good either. I would not recommend this place.

It took me 3 years to return to this Moe's after sustaining weekend-length stomach pangs post-tainted veggie burrito. Today's experience convinced me to waiter longer than that to come back. After I described my taco topping choices to the staff member behind the glass, I said "and that's all." "Hot sauce?" he thought he repeated, slopping a ladle of burning condiment upon the otherwise mildly dressed chicken. I barely could stomach the blazing taco. Furthermore, my ground beef-filled hard taco became soggy during my trip from the restaurant to my nearby office, forcing me to eat the slop with a fork. I didn't ask for Mexican-inspired oatmeal.

Are you desperate for a burrito or nachos? They sell those here. Are they good? Eh, not really. They're fine. Not horrible. The salsa selection is pretty lame, and the meats are whatever. I'd be much happier if Moe's went away and they put a Chipotle here instead. It sure is convenient if you work in the area.

Just ate a steak burrito yesterday at lunch and I've been sick ever since an hour after I ate. Never again! I have eaten here before maybe a few times over the past few years and no other incidents until now. I prefer Willy's over Moe's. I won't be going back. The burrito tasted ok going down but really awful coming back up. If your thinking about this location, please go somewhere else instead. You won't regret it like I do now. #feeling really aweful

This place is gross and I will not here again. I went in to eat, the tables looked like they had not been cleaned all day (I could not eat them in that condition), there are garbage on the floor... it was disgusting. I realize this is downtown Atlanta, but I do not eat in places that cannot at least uphold a sense of cleanliness. I will not go back to this location.

This Moe's isn't the best one I've been to. The staff doesn't speak a lot of English is an understatement! The communication there is more point and grunt than anything. I mean, the folks at the Moe's near my house don't speak much English either, but at least they are able to convey to me things? The food is good though, and they are quick. Also close to the office, so I'd go again, but it might not be my first choice.

I love eating at Moe's, but this one had pretty bad service over a couple of visits. They gave considerably lesser portions than any other Moe's, I got charge extra for no reason (which they refused to refund because it was apparently the correct price) and my food came out cold/uncooked twice. Overall, if you're a die-hard Moe's fan, this place will suffice (by a small margin), but if you're looking for decent food or service, this isn't the place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
