Great Buffalo Wings, I like them extra spicy! With a side of sweet potato fries! Oh and the Devils on Horsebacks are awesome!

Truly authentic fish and chips. I took of one star off because they allow smoking in the courtyard. I thought there was a law against that in this day and age. The food was good but there should be zero tolerance to smoking inside or out. I had a great meal but the evening was spoiled by the table next to ours when they started smoking. Otherwise everyone was pretty happy with their food and beer, really nice dark creamy beer.

We did our company happy hour. Three hours (we left after two). Our server comes every 20-30 minutes. Most have been out of drinks for 45 mins. He brings three drinks and says that's all his fingers can handle. He's taken drink orders and NEVER brought them twice. One coworker never got her drink at all after an hour, then told they don't have it. Our owner gets the wrong drink. After trying to order appetizers with seven of us-- he stopped us from ordering, saying "that's all his wavelength can handle". We were all starved, but couldn't get food. We spend thousands at these. But not tonight. Never again here- shame that it's down the street. Honestly, it's not the restaurants fault (although the Manager avoided asking us how things were as well). Definitely not the Vinings Meehan's.

This location of Meehan's Public House can be found in Atlantic Station between Cafe Nineteen and Z-Gallerie by Central Park. This is a woody, dark and wonderfully moody Irish Pub concept that provides viands including various beers (bitters) and pub-styled food. I've had the occasion to visit this location on several occasions - generally I go to the older location in Sandy Springs (they have an awesome deck to enjoy the warm evenings) but this one isn't half bad at all. This place is all atmosphere and pleasant conversation with good service and awesome drink. There are a few MeetUp groups to which I'm a member that have reserved sections of Meehan's for their various shenanigans (I'm using the tongue-in-cheek version of the term here so don't take it the wrong way). Generally a draft of bitters or two are provided and maybe some apps while you network with other technology people. Of course the main reason you go to Meehan's is for the drink, but there are some decent items on the menu. I've really very fond of the crispy pub chips and sweet potato fries, but try not to eat too many to reserve the calories for the beer. I'd be even fatter if I indulged on every occasion. I'm also a fan of their beery onion rings. For food, I try to stick with more "traditional" pub offerings like the bangers-and-mash or shepard's pie but have been known to order a burger or two. Prices are a bit on the high side but that's typical of location and style of the place - seems you have to pay extra for a little culture. My favorite on the menu is the fish-and-chips, appropriately made with cod - I've always received to delicious pieces and plank-style fries. (also posted to my blog is much longer form)

We went here for St. Patrick's Day 2015 and I would suggest getting here early before all the festivities at Atlantic station. They had a lot drink specials. I ordered the grilled feta sandwich with sweet potato fries and everything was extremely good. The service was mediocre but in their defense it was a super busy day. I liked the atmosphere and the food!

Visiting Atlanta for a conference, so we stopped at Meehan's Public House to grab some dinner. I ordered the 101 Meatloaf, and a cup of chili. My friends got the smokehouse burger, shepherd's pie, and skinflint's chili. The atmosphere was great, we were seated at a large booth that afforded some privacy. Although I only ordered water, my friends' beers were great (crispin and black velvet). The black velvet in particular was interesting and complex. The food arrived at our table in about 20 min. Although it was quick, it really would have been more appropriate for the soup to come out before the meal. The chili was very sweet, with larger chunks of tomato, pepper, and onion. It came with a big chunk of cheddar cheese on top, which was delicious. I opted out of the sour cream. The chili was cooked very well, had a great consistency and was nice and hot. I don't personally like sweet chili, but prefer a more balanced chili. It was still tasty, but a bit too sweet for me, and I would have enjoyed a little heat (not spicy at all). The meatloaf was nice. I ordered it as the menu said it was made with beef, bison, and Italian sausage. It was moist and tender, but I actually would have preferred a hint of sweetness here, and found it a little bland. There was only a very small amount of gravy. The mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious. I also tried a bite of my friend's shepherd pie, which was amazing and much more to my taste. Overall, I really wish that I'd ordered the shepherds pie instead, although mine was fine. My other friend loved the smokehouse burger and ate every crumb. The french fries were huge and delicious. Finally, we tried the Napa valley cheesecake and the whisky bread pudding. The bread pudding was tasty, and served with ice cream and caramel sauce. Not the best I've ever had, but good. The cheesecake was delicious, with a layer of chocolate on top and a layer of chocolate cake on the bottom. Some strawberries served with it provided a nice textural element and some tartness to contrast with the sweetness of the cake. I thought it was very good! Unfortunately, there was a mix up when we were trying to pay. My friends opted to pay the overage, but I was able to talk to the waitress and get the correct check for my order. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would return again, but probably order something other than the meatloaf.

I truly adore Meehans. And this location is currently down the street from me and located in Atlantic Station. So...it's perfect! Offers indoor and outdoor seating, tons of TV'S( if you're the sports type), delicious food and amazing service. I have been to this location about a dozen times and never have I ever had bad service! I have liked everything I have had off the menu, except the chicken fingers, but...it was a fluke that I had even tried it because it wasn't even mine! Haha My favorite thing that I order 9 times out of 10 are the Devils on Horseback! Dates stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in bacon and then baked and laid atop perfect slices of beet. It's soo damn good! I crave this amazingness! Meehan's is great for families, friends, and romantic outings. And an all around staple in this chick's diet :)

The Devils Horseback app and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. Delicious and good for you. Well, admittedly yes their is bacon. But it's wrapped around a date filled with goat cheese and sitting on a beer slice. So that's healthy eating in my book, in moderation of course.

So I guess I will work on reviewing all of the Meehan's I have gone to. I've predominantly been to this one for the Canada Day party that goes on the first weekend in July. Before my friend and I figured it out, it used to be up at the one in Sandy Springs, but now it's here. You pay to get in, but people can still get in to eat here, as was obvious this past year given World Cup games were going on. The cover is really more for the bands that come on later so I guess we really shouldn't be paying the cover because we never are really there for that, we come to eat the Canada inspired menu. Yes, we really came this past year because food. Also Unibroue. They overprice it A LOT but whatever, how else are you going to have butter tarts I guess? The thing that sucks though is the prices are high, and then the food is served in disposable baskets. So you pay to get in then pay for that. Needless to say I really don't think we're gonna do the whole pay to get in thing anymore since we never stay for the entertainment aspect of it. This is probably my favorite Meehan's design-wise though. It's got the same general dimly lit, dark wood thing going on but it just seems to pull it off the best. Downtown is a close second though. Also I believe this Meehan's is the Tottenham bar so if you want to watch soccer really early you can do that here.

Great atmosphere, great place to grab a drink or a shepherds pie. The 101 meatloaf is incredible. Pair it with a Black Velveteen.

Why do I always forget that you're here, Meehan's? You are o-so-tasty! While the space is kinda dark, and dare say grimy, and smelled of malt vinegar this past time I went, I really enjoy you food! -Smokehouse Burger: what great beefy flavor, cooked perfectly to my likely! It was juicy and super flavorful--yum! -Onion Rings: the batter is a bit too thick for my likely, but freshly made, piping hot, and super crunchy! -Shepard's Pie: I LOVE shepards pie and think this version is pretty solid, though not the best I've ever had. The gravy is flavorful and meat and veggies abundant, but I wish the potatoes were a fluffier and the overall dish stuck in the oven for some toastiness and crisp. But I'd totes order this again -Chocolate Cheesecake Dessert thingy: obliviously not the real name--it was overall a tasty one! Chocolate mousse, traditional NY cheesecake, and chocolate cake all paired together really well without being overly sweet. However, the chocolate cake WAS a little dry by itself. -Great rotation of seasonal beer as well :) I will have to remember to visit again!

The decor is wonderful. It has elements of an old cathedral - dark yet has grand decorations all about. I love the feel of the place and the seatings they have. Pretty cool decor. However, I can't fully give it more than three stars just because it was a bit pricey for the kind and amount of beer we had - with tip, it was $10 for a glass of beer ... and although it was a craft beer, the beer was local and it wasnt really anything special if you consider how much local craft beer is out there nowadays ... All in all, the place is cool, but that tab isnt.

Every time we're in Atlantic Station we always end up walking past this place. After finally trying it out, I have no idea why we kept walking by. I ordered the Meehan burger with mashed potatoes and my hubby ordered the meatloaf. Portion sizes were decent and I actually had to cut mine in half to even get started chowing down! I'm in love with the mashed potatoes and wish I had their recipe... My fiancee downed his food in about the time it took me to finish cutting my sandwich in half. The gravy made the meal in my opinion. We both had drinks as well, I forget what he had but I had an Irish Iced tea and loved it. Overall, good atmosphere, wonderful waitress and awesome food and drinks. We will be returning!

My husband and I were waiting for my son and nephew who were watching a movie and shared a hamburger and and sweet water draft Beer and a Coke Zero. The waitress brought the hamburger and the sweet potatoes fries already split which was nice gesture . Service is good and has good atmosphere. Food and beer selection was good. We were watching football in the meantime. Nice choice in the Atlantic Station

Sooo I happen to live nearby which means this spot and my path would inevitably cross (multiple times). Decided to meet Meehans head on for an early dinner. Since I'd skipped breakfast and lunch I was starving and as a general rule when I'm starving, I don't venture into new restaurants AND I definitely don't try new dishes. Yesterday I felt adventurous I guess. I easily found a seat at the bar. It was right around the start of the typical happy hour time so there were plenty of seats to choose from. I was greeted at the door by a handsome redhead with a fantastic beard. He didn't seem bothered at all that I opted for the bar. In fact, he smiled slightly as he pointed in the direction of the bar (I know this is trivial but hang in there the actual review is coming). Once seated at the bar I was INSTANTLY greeted by female bartender (ughhh i forgot her name -Eva??). She introduced herself took my drink order, produced a magnificent lemon drop martini, took my food order (giving thumbs up to my choice of fish and chips), brought out all condiments and silverware in preparation for my meal to arrive. (That was a lot to write/read in one sentence so Deep breath). This bartender (whatever her name is) rocks! The fish and chips (fries) were great! Everything was hot and fresh. I didn't really like the cole slaw but I don't like cole slaw in general. I also ordered the tiramisu to go. While it was beautiful, my taste buds didn't really enjoy it. Will frequent this spot! #tellingyouwhatithink #dpursuitisreal

I had the fish taco's and they were very good. A little hot. I asked for them without the hot sauce but I think my server forgot. I just got back from Ireland and the battered cod was just as good as it was over there. I would highly recommend the place. The manager is from Ireland to and we had a great chat!

Super delicious! We had the chili and the blackened chicken salad and everything was full of flavor! Chelsey W. was our server and entertaining and had great recommendations. We could have that chili every day of the week! We are here for a week and just may be back! From Seattle, we say check this place out! Tip: if you order the chili ask for it extra hot (temp wise)

I was excited when Meehan's opened up a location in Atlantic Station, because frankly, personally, I'm very underwhelmed with the quality of food/drink establishments in the entire station otherwise. Either quality has dropped off, the demand is too high, and in most cases, they've all closed and been replaced. That being said, it's in Atlantic Station, so if you're planning on coming for an extended period of drinking, or to stack on top of a movie night or something, parking won't be free after two hours, and I'm not entirely sure if anywhere outside of the movie theater actually validates parking. Anyway, it was a fairly nondescript weekday evening when I came with a friend, hoping for a decent expedient dinner. It wasn't busy when we got there, and we were seated pretty quickly by a friendly hostess. We were greeted and had our drink order taken, and our server was a friendly guy, and I had no objections to his demeanor or how he treated us. Unfortunately, as a whole, service was a little underwhelming, in spite of the slow night. Maybe if we sat at the bar with the evident regulars, it would've been a different story, since there were two bartenders for like five patrons. They had no steak for my friend's salad, and they outright forgot to bring us out our appetizer. Granted, they took it off the check completely, which was way above and beyond what I would have expected, and was appreciated, especially when it turned out to not be as good as we had hoped. Goat cheese is a pretty powerful flavor, but when it's somehow managed to be overpowered by an edemame mash, it's pretty impressive. Regardless, the entrees were about the quality that I had hoped it would be. The fish and chips I ordered were as good as any of the other Meehan's that I've had them at, which ultimately is the biggest deal for me, since I really like their fish and chips. My friend stated that her salad was a little over-dressed, and the fact that the restaurant had apparently run out of steak outright was kind of a turn-off for her. The bottom line is that this particular experience was kind of underwhelming overall, but I still like the place, probably on the equity built from my general pleasure with the other Meehan's locations. Service was slow, albeit friendly and willing to make very right on innocuous things, but the food was still good, which is important. The centralized location in Atlantic Station is nice and all, but if I'm going to prepare for a night of drinking, I think I still would favor the Vinings location if I were given a choice.

Meehan's Public House opened a location in Atlantic Station in July 2011 and it's been a welcome addition to the community. Meehan's is an Irish pub with four locations in metro Atlanta. Atlantic Station Meehan's is located in between Cafe Nineteen and Z Gallerie, facing Central Park. Since its opening, I've been here multiple times, for dinner, brunch, and special events, and have had good experiences. I really like the build-out of this restaurant as it resembles an old-fashioned Irish pub. Plenty of dark woods and traditional booth and bar seating. The atmosphere is laid back. At night, it's dimly lit by lanterns and candle light. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and there are a few big screens (some projection screens) showing sports, so this place works as an option for sports viewing. Outside, they sometimes have games of cornhole set up. Meehan's serves a menu of English and Irish food and plenty of beer. Expect to spend at least $12 per person for dinner. As with any pub, you can get the typical soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers here. More unique offerings include Irish Bangers and Mash (mashed potatoes and sausages) and a Traditional Irish Breakfast complete with rashers (bacon), bangers (sausages), Irish soda bread, and black & white pudding (pig's blood + organs) among other things. I've tried the $10 lunch portion of the Fish and Chips, which consists of one 5 ounce filet of Guinness-battered cod, French fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce. The dinner portion is bigger and is $15. The Fish and Chips is one of the restaurant's most popular menu items because it's simple and almost everyone enjoys it. I thought the amount of fish and slaw provided in the lunch portion was a bit measly, though there were a ton of fries. The fish, fries, and slaw tasted good. Nothing extraordinary, but what you'd expect, which is a good thing. Try adding malt vinegar on the fish for a different flavor. I've also tried the Shepherd's Pie ($15), which is made up of lamb, peas, carrots, mashed potatoes, and red wine gravy. The mashed potatoes are actually prepared in such a way that they make up the crust-like, outer layer of the pie. Overall, the Shepherd's Pie was very filling and satisfying. The lamb had hints of gaminess, but it wasn't bad and to be expected. The meat was tender and succulent and the dish generally had nice flavor. Meehan's brunch menu is served weekend mornings/afternoons until 3pm. I'm not sure if it's served weekdays. Brunch items are priced in the $9-13 range. I've been pleased with brunch here as the food is tasty and the portions are generous. Brunch item examples include eggs, omelets, French toast, pancakes, and "Irish" breakfast foods like bangers (sausages), rashers (bacon), soda bread, and black and white puddings. I've tried the Corned Beef 'n Hash ($9) which comes with chopped corned beef, green bell pepper, onions, carrots, hash browns, and two eggs. I like to get my eggs poached. The dish was served on a hot-from-the-kitchen metal plate served atop a wooden base. The ingredients were seasoned and mixed together well and made for a hearty and filling meal. I was told by a server this dish is one of Meehan's most popular brunch items. I've also tried the Smoked Salmon Bagel Sandwich ($12) which comes with smoked salmon, dill-whipped cream cheese, capers, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and a side of hash browns. When I had this sandwich, stone-ground grits were substituted in for the hash browns. The sandwich was big and delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh from the soft, mildly smoky salmon to the crisp lettuce and succulent cream cheese. The grits were fanastic as well, full of flavor. My friends have ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict and California Omelet and were very pleased. It's too bad the brunch menu isn't served all day. The servers do a good job and are attentive. The wait time for food is generally reasonable. Of the items mentioned above, only the Shepherd's Pie resulted in an excessive wait, but I think it's because of that particular dish's increased prep time. Kudos to Meehan's for showing off, at the front entrance, a framed Georgia Tech football jersey signed by coach Paul Johnson. The pub also serves as a pick-up and drop-off point for free shuttles to Tech home football games. Go Jackets!

Meehan's is open till 2am which is the latest last call in Atlantic Station so of course it's an obvious choice for late nights. The dice game is also fun... If you try Meehans don't miss out on the $1 try to win a jar full of money! I can't really comment on the food... I'm just not much into Irish food personally. On nice days they have a patio with corn hole/ beer pong/ and home of what I believe is the only smoking section in Atlantic Station.

I came with some friends for a birthday brunch thing, and I didn't see anything worth coming back for. The place probably functions best as a late night watering hole, not as a "come hang out and eat some good food place"; especially since the service is really slow. The decor is really dark and heavy, and the staff are all in black t-shirts/dark clothing. Again, probably great for Saturday late night drinking, but not very welcoming. We came in around 2 on Sunday afternoon, and the place wasn't that full. Easily got a table in the main dining area and could overlook the rest of the place. Most of the people I saw there were hanging out for a drink, not ordering food. However, my group was hungry, so we ordered food. I had the Irish Trilogy off the brunch menu: cinnamon apple French toast, two scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. All of it was just okay. Scrambled eggs... well, it's hard to make them fancy unless you add in cheese or peppers/onions, etc., and these were just standard scrambled eggs I could make in my kitchen. Same with the bacon, although their's was super greasy. Probably didn't let it rest on a paper towel before putting it on the plate. Hash browns were okay, under-seasoned and I added a fair amount of ketchup to make them taste better. The French toast was a measly portion, like two pieces of baby bread with caramelized cinnamon apples on top. I'm a sucker for apples prepared like that (thanks, Mom!), and wanted to give it a shot. My final result is that I could easily make them at home (or better than Meehan's) if I read "The Joy of Cooking" more often. And actually made time to cook for myself. But that's another story for another day! Boyfriend had the corned beef hash, and it looked like it was primarily potatoes with a little bit of hash. Although homemade, he didn't seem to rave about it. He had to get his eggs redone because the whites were too under cooked. So much so that a yolk rolled out as the food runners set it on the table. The second round was better. The birthday boy got a venison burger, and didn't like it so sent it back for a regular beef burger. Unfortunately, the second one wasn't any better. He mentioned something about weird seasoning, and it was different than the last time he came to Meehan's. Overall, I'll pass if I'm in the area. It seemed really overpriced for what we got. $11 for a brunch entree and a $6 mimosa. The beer and wine were higher than what I'd be comfortable paying. The cheapest glass of wine I saw was $7.

Nuts and bolts: Friend and I had some time to kill before hitting up a movie. It was Valentine's Day so we were worried that places were going to be booked up with couples. Luckily, we were able to be seated right away at Meehan's. Order: Beer for friend, Crispin cider for me, and shared bacon-wrapped dates and chicken fingers. Pros: The bacon-wrapped dates were fat and quite tasty. Not Iberian Pig tasty, but quite good. Nice fat chicken tenders. Quick seating and service. Friend loved her beer. Cons: The chicken fingers didn't taste the greatest and the BBQ sauce was pretty terrible. My friend and I were supposed to have two chicken fingers each, but she didn't even want another one after eating the first. My Crispin sucked, but not really their fault. But I think our waiter could have guided me a bit better when I was selecting my drink. We were all discussing and my friend asked if I wanted something dry. I said no. Well, Crispin is a dry cider- exactly what I was trying to avoid. Neutral: What a weird menu. Not what I was expecting out of an Irish joint. There were Indian and Jewish-inspired dishes, it seemed. Who knows what else. Didn't seem very cohesive.

I keep hoping for better restaurants in Atlantic Station, but it's still not a dining destination for me. Meehan's goes on the list of "meh" restaurants for me. Nothing redeeming in the few times I've been there. Four of us sat in a booth and ate and drank for a couple of hours. The pretzels are pretty legit with tasty cheese and spicy mustard, but the ahi tostados are comically small for $12. The chicken fingers were good, but messing up chicken fingers is pretty hard to do. At one point in the night our waiter disappeared for 20 minutes and we only got him back after finding another waiter to get him. Otherwise this would be a three star review. Pep up the service and make some food worth the price and I'll be back.

That great Meehan's bar experience is now in Atlantic Station. The best place to get an adult beverage before going to a movie or shopping nearby. My friend had an Amaretto Sour (he said it was perfect) and I had a double Jamison's 12 on the rocks. Both were well great, and the service was fast and no-nonsense. I will definitely be back.

Terrible waste of money. Went to their Canada Fest today and tried their poutine and special burger and thought it was okay, but overpriced. $7 for a small paper bowl of fries??? All you got on there was regular frozen fries with a gravy-esque sauce and some cheese curd. The burger had some good flavor but thought it was weird on the pita bread it came. The actual burger patty was probably slightly, just ever so slightly, bigger than a slider patty....for $12! Does not make any sense. Could get a much better burger for less than $8-9 around town. Also, I couldn't understand the use of plastic and paper plates.

I thought the environment was good. They had a pretty decent selection of beers. I ate the salmon with the sauce and veggie mix, was pretty good... Then again salmon is one of my personal favs. Tip* the salt and vinegar chips were spectacular!

Edit: Lowering my stars to 1, because after I posted the below review (which was originally 3 stars), I heard from someone who supposedly works for the company that owns this place. She is on Yelp as an "Owner" of this place, and after doing some online research, I found that she is the PR person. She asked me for specific info. regarding the review, and I obliged. She then claimed that if I gave her my personal info. that she would send a gift card, for us to give Meehan's another chance. This was over a month ago & we have not received a thing, nor have I heard from her again. Beginning to wonder if it was a scam or something... Most definitely will NOT be giving this company any of our business again. Tried this place out for the first time, today. Bf had the Meehan Burger. He said the meat tasted overcooked. However, we both really liked the green beans that he ordered for his side. They were still mostly crispy, and really garlic-y. I like variety so, I ordered my usual weird meal of sides/appetizer: Irish Soda Bread (it was pretty good, but I had to ask for butter for it), Braised Red Cabbage Slaw (crispy, but not much better than slaw from elsewhere), Cheddar Cheese Grits (really undercooked & underseasoned), and lastly, the Guinness Battered Fried Artichoke Hearts (THESE were to die for good!) Overall, we would rate the food 3/5. The service could have been way better. At one point during our meal, there was a group of employees hanging out at the hostess stand in the front, being really loud and annoying. Also, we had to ask our waitress for drink refills (hate that), and even had to ask for a pen to sign the credit card slip to pay. Overall, just an "OK" experience, not sure we'd go back.

I went to Meehan's for the Canadian Fest. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere and had a good time. We went inside to have dinner and when the server asked us what we wanted to drink, all three of us said "water". The server said something kind of rude in response to this, like we weren't ordering enough drinks or something to that extent. Our group had just bought plenty of drinks outside and we were finished drinking. I spent years as a server and wouldn't dream of being rude because I didn't "order enough drinks". Then when it was time to order food, he sat down in one of the chairs and took our order as was trying to be super friendly. It came across as weird. The food was decent. I had the thai salad and crab artichoke dip appetizer. The thai salad dressing was great. The crab artichoke appetizer dip was ok. After we finished, the server was nowhere in sight for a long time. Overall the experience was fun, the band was great and I had a good time. I'm usually a good tipper by default having been a food server myself, but any of this kind of nonsense makes me decrease my tip. I liked the Japanese system while visiting. No tipping, but pay a little more.

The most important thing to note about this place: There is a Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar!! Oh-My-Heavens was I excited! They have multiple mixes, from spicy to sour to peppery. You can add pita chips, bacon, and every other type of veggie you can think of... and the bartenders were NOT skimpy on the vodka either! Meo was a GREAT bartender/server. She was so fun and friendly. A friend and I were only in town for a week, but we were tempted to go back to Meehan's on multiple occassions!

Came by for my LS's 23rd birthday dinner since I wasn't able to attend her large group dinner, and had a pretty good time. When coming into the parking garage, park at number 3 (purple). It's a straight shot there. We got seated immediately, and we all browsed the menu and my deuce and I both had cravings for a burger while my tre wanted a chicken wrap, so with that, we ordered the smokehouse burger and the buffalo chicken wrap. All three of us enjoyed our meals and the drinks that we ordered as well. We definitely overstayed our welcome but our server didn't seem to mind, and wasn't trying to get us to leave like some other places tend to do. The smokehouse burger is pretty messy when eating, so be sure to ask for extra napkins :] Overall, fun times with my line sisters, with pretty good food :D

Do not order the Red Zinfandel. Not very good. The Chateau St. Michelle Riesling was nothing to right home about either. I ordered the lobster bisque which was alright. I like the bar but I was little turned off by the bartender reserving seats at the bar for a larger party coming in. I'm sorry but you should not be reserving chairs at the bar. That's why it's the bar so strays can just come and have a seat and order a drink quickly. That didn't make any sense to me. And another thing, who reserves seating at a neighborhood bar? It's a bar. That's unheard of. But nonetheless, I still had a great time and met some cool people while I was there. The bartenders were very sweet people.

Wow. Just happened in here. Stopped in just for a quick beverage and ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Bites and they were fabulous. I don't know why they were so good, they just were. Also sampled the freshly baked Jumbo Pretzel, which was the best pretzel I've ever had. They are doing something right in the kitchen and I will definitely be back for a full meal sometime. Sat at the bar, service was excellent and Yelp came up. It was funny that there were three other Yelpers sitting at the bar. But not surprising, as Yelpers know where all of the good places are. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in for St. Paddy's day. I mean, it's an Irish bar and we were in the area. Also some Irish step dancers breezed in and performed, which was sort of cool. Had one beverage, which was on special. Was fine but not incredible. Didn't sample food. Pretty spacious all in all, but it was decently crowded. Most likely because of the holiday.

This place has a great atmosphere. I stopped in with my friend and we both had the curry fries with some beer. The fries were good but nothing special. The beer selection is pretty good. I initially took away a couple stars because the service was so slow and we couldn't get a beer we ordered because they couldn't get the newly changed out keg to give beer correctly. I gave back a star because on shift change the server was better and the atmosphere at the bar is that good.

The experience seemed to start okay. Walked in after a movie (it's in a large Atlanta version of an outdoor mall). The bartender, Megan, was cute and friendly. She asks everyone they're name. She is also good for the owners, as she is very good as a pusher of more drinks. Every time she notices you are 1/4 near the end, she hits you up for a new one. And it works for most I saw. So, owner, she's good. The bad. This is not an Irish bar. Ever since Angela's Ashes, every place wants to be an Irish bar. Unfortunately, none of them make Irish food. It's all Shepard's Pie, fish and chips, and then nachos and buffalo wings. Booo! Where is the Guinness Stew? Also, I noticed the manager was pissed drunk (and I went in at 1:45 pm). He tried to get me to play a 1 dollar game where you have to roll 5 dice and get them all the same to win the jar (which was 700 bucks). Even the workers are so desperate they play it. I did not. He tells me people won 1400 dollars. I hear, that means 1400 people put in a buck before it paid out to someone - bad odds / not to mention the odds of getting five dice to come up exact is almost nil - the lottery has better odds). I don't gamble, and didn't today either. Sadly, some waitresses did. Don't they need their tips? When asked I found out the bar has been open 1 year and it has only paid out twice. Nice. Might as well wipe your butt with the cash. Worse, was that Megan - who is a decent and well-trained bartender, as well as very attractive to male customers with talk and interaction (I witnessed at least 3 people try to hit on her while I was there) - she has some problems. She is a chatty Kathy. Good bartenders like her make good drinks and move drinks. She does both exceptionally. Great bartenders are listeners; not talkers. She needs to pull it back and let people talk to her. Then they will interact more. Worse was that I had 4 half and half's - half Guinness / Half Harp. Glad they knew what it was. As you get into arguments countrywide about Harp or Bass in this drink, even though a Guinness/Bass is a Black and Tan. The problem is she makes the drink - very well, and well trained with Guinness, but then she goes on to talk and talk and talk with other people. My first one was already fully mixed by the time she gave it to me, and I was right next to the tap in a seat with four people there. The second one was perfect cause the drunk manager saw it sitting there and gave it to me on time. The third was already mixing. By the last one, I demanded a repour and she fucking flipped out, saying she'd get in trouble. WTF do I care? I pay for my drinks. Shut up and make them right. Then we can be the best of friends. Otherwise, don't expect me to pay for what you can't stay focused on. Didn't eat anything. So no food review. Though nothing looked good on the menu. Oh, and they use Pandora for music, which is horrible. It's an Irish bar. Program The Pogues, Dropkick Murphy's, and Flogging Molly's, with some Rolling Stones, maybe some Iggy Pop, and The Who. Something normal and decent everyone can like. Something that adds mood. The music when I came in was horrible blues music I can't even place or remember. Then we got a chunk of 90's early Seattle grunge I have heard to death at this point in my life. I think one Rolling Stones song came on before I left. Otherwise, the music was unbearable. I was going to leave a couple drinks earlier and should've, but Meg is good at hitting you up on a refill while you are on the phone with an emergency phone call or not paying attention - give her props for this, boss.

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday when the soccer fans were swarming the TVs. Because of the crowd, the atmosphere was loud and jubilant. This is a great place to go get caught up in the match. We were there just for lunch and didn't have time to stay, but we enjoyed the excitement while we were there. The service was not so good, although this probably has more to do with the busy time of day rather than any problems with the server. The food was mediocre. I ordered fish and chips, which is the benchmark for any pub. The fish wasn't as flavorful as what I'm used to, and the chips were too salty to really enjoy. I'm not sure what sauce they used. It didn't taste like tartar and was okay, but not the quality that I'm used to with the dish. On top of that, I ordered the 'small' since this was lunch, but still surprised by the small portion size.

A friend and I stopped in to grab a drink before we went to a local tour. The service was great. Our bartender, Meo, was attentive and very knowledgable. The Sunday specials were also phenomenal: unlimited mimosa's for $15 and build your own Bloody Mary for $6.50. They also have a wide variety of beer and cocktails!

Absolutely terrible. Service was awful and food was mediocre at best. We were so pleasant and even called ahead to prepare for a small birthday dinner before a show..What a mess..Unless you just want to drink some beer you should avoid..

What's awesome here? 1. Devils on horseback ($9) - bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese, roasted beets, & red wine reduction - Complex flavors in a brilliant combination. 2. Truffled mac and cheese with bacon ($14) - Although a bit salty, this is really decadent and bursting with flavor. What's average? - Fish and chips - Burgers This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Atlantic Station. I occasionally dream about Meehan's mac n cheese.

Stopped in here for a drink and a bite on a Saturday evening before going to the movies. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartendar who introduced herself and then told us the other two bartendars names as well. I ordered a glass of Mirassou Pinot Noir and the chili. Nice pour on the wine and the price point was reasonable. The chili was excellent. Perfect ratio of meat and beans and had great flavor. It wasn't spicy which I appreciated. Overall a good experience - good service, good food and nice atmosphere. Meehan's is a great addition to Atlantic Station.

"Hit and Miss" spot comes complete with drunk, obnoxious jock pounding on the bar right next to you (literally), a blond dizzy waitress who botches your drink order, your food order then is later accused of losing a tourist's credit card who was sitting at a nearby table. Remember how that person you were dating years ago were one day the person you were gonna marry then the next time you saw them you were thinking of how you'd rather be anywhere else or with anyone else (your worst relatives, the co-worker with the bad breathe, Jack the Ripper)? That has been our experience at Meehan's at Atlantic Station. We live in a condo at Atlantic Station and frequent all the spots at Atlantic Station and I mean all of them on a weekly basis. First time at Meehan's was an awesome "first date with the place" we felt it out with a few draft imports, their incredible homemade pretzels with mustard and cheese dipping sauces, one of their appetizer dips and had a great experience. it was great, an authentic feeling tavern. Couldn't wait to go there again. Next time in we ordered the same as above but threw in an order of fish & chips that were average but okay and worth another shot in the future. Fast forward to last night when the wife and I went in for a "great evening of food and brew". Here is where you throw in the obnoxious jock character (who by the way looked like an idiot--anyone that old who turns their cap backwards trying to create swag looks like an idiot); the flaky blond server and an evening full of botched orders. Here's our night/experience: We started with our usual order of drafts; her Guinness and me a Blacksmith (Guinness & Smithwick's). Being an avid import drinker I noticed we both got a Guinness right away because I saw no line separating my two brews and the bartenders here definitely know how to pour the drinks. So not wanting to deal with a server who mentally appeared to be somewhere else far, far away; I walked up to the bar and asked the bartender about it; he agreed she had taken the wrong beer and set me up (I witnessed one pint dumped/wasted down the drain--that itself should be a crime). Jump to food order: I opted for the chicken buffalo wrap with a side of mashed potatoes but cannot tell you how it is/was because I was not given what I ordered. I tried I really did but it must not have been in the cards. My plate appeared with a chicken BLT sandwich with fries (0 for 2 couldn't even get the side right). No big deal, we are easy going people; servers work hard; no prob....I asked the order be fixed. Minutes later the BLT returns (at least it had the proper side of mashed); still no buffalo wrap. Blondy offered to get the buffalo wrap at this point and acknowledged the gaffe. Seeing my wife's food in front of her I told the server never mind, I'll take whatever they think I should eat so I kept the chicken BLT. Now the Chicken BLT was very good; I would recommend it. My wife on the other hand; opted to give the Fish & Chips another shot and I've got to say; if you like picking up one sweet potato fries and getting 10-12 stuck together from the grease then this meal is for you. While she was eating her chunks of fries I tried a taste of her fish and "chips"; would never order that again....ungood; think Arther Treacher's in an awesome atmosphere; way too much grease on this night. Bottom line with Meehan's: We met the owners prior to their opening; they were nice enough to walk us through and give us a private tour; and they were the nicest, guys you could ever meet. Sincerely great people on business ventures and expanding their current stable of restaurants. I wish them the best BUT they don't deserve for their place to be run like this when they are away, period. It doesn't suit their style. Bottom line #2: If you go to Meehan's stick to the draft brews and pretzel's, just make sure you sit on the opposite side of the bar as the obnoxious drunk jock who is easy to identify; just follow the pounding... Final note: We shortened our visit and opted to walk back to our condo to watch the football game as did two of our neighbors who also cut their visit short with an "eat and run" after they made the mistake of sitting next to the drumming jock. I hope this place can get it right because the build out they did really provides a great atmosphere; especially like the imported wood confessional... UPSIDE: Nice, friendly bartenders who know how to pour, awesome pretzels, they take the "A" card for residents. DOWNSIDE: Hit or miss...

I've had my fair share of Irish Pub food when I lived in Chicago. On this particular night, my husband wanted to check out Atlantic Station and we were 100% indifferent to what we wanted to eat. It seemed to me an Irish Pub would do the trick. It was a Saturday night, and as expected it was busy. The turn around was quick. We didn't wait any longer than 15 minutes. Although, when we were seated, it was next to a door where people from the patio kept going in and out. This was a little annoying. It had all the ambiance I would ask for. Mismatched furniture, trinkets on the walls, oldish looking decor. The only thing that bothered me was there was a HUGE television right next to our table showing College Football highlights. Being from the Chicago, we don't typical see those types of things in the dining area, only at the bar. Once we ordered, we started off with the pretzels with cheese. Our waiter actually referred to it as queso. It's a little petty of me, but that bothers me. This isn't a mexican restaurant. The pretzels were over salted and our waiter forgot our "queso". My main course was the truffled mac and cheese with bangers. My husband ordered the fish and chips and asked the waiter if they serve fresh cut fries. He hesitantly said ".... Yes.". This truffled mac and cheese was excellent especially with the bangers. If I visit Meehan's again, I would definitely consider ordering the bangers and mash because of this. On the other hand, my husband's fish and chips were not the best fish and chips he's ever had. Not to mention the "fresh cut fries", were fresh cut, frozen, packaged, shipped to Meehan's and then fried. The portions were a little backwards. I felt like I got more than I paid for with my meal, and he didn't get enough. It was a little off. I'm likely to try Meehan's again when I'm at odds with what I have a taste for.

First time eating here. Tourist from Ohio. Great late night menu. I ate the truffle Mac and Cheese and it was awesome!!! The lobster was also perfect with it. The sweet potato fries are to die for!!! Overall great experience and would def eat here again. The whiskey in a jar was nice and strong, but still sweet enough to taste like a mixed drink.

The pub that Atlantic Station has so desperately needed. I've been working in the area for years and it's the first place ever here that I would recommend to my friends. I'm not normally a huge fan of the whole Irish pub concept but the bartenders, staff and regular partrons at this location have turned me in to a regular. They are the reason for all 5 of the stars so I have to shake my head in amazement when I read reviews seemingly complaining of them.

Really good food, nice beer slection (The Snakebite never disappoints) and good location if you happen to be at Atlantic station. The staff is friendly enough as well. I love the quirky old decor and have enjoyed both the product and service each time I have been.

Meehans tend to be a pretty solid 4-star spot in my opinion, but I'm giving them the 5th star for being one of my faves in Atlantic Station. It's just a great place to hang out, music isn't overly obnoxious, people aren't overly obnoxious, well not all of them and they have a decent menu. Easy to get in and out of for a beer before a movie, a nightcap or snack afterwards or getting together with friends. They have great big booths, a nice sized bar and while not really Irish, it's Atlanta-Irish ;).

I have visited this overrated Applebee's twice; two more times than I should have. Look, if you want crappy, undercooked bar food and an incompetent wait staff, there are many places you can go. This place absolutely cannot get even the simplest of orders right. I even McDonald's can cook its French fries thoroughly. I was not expecting an amazing culinary experience. It is what it is. And frankly, if you're in Atlantic Station for a good meal, you're going to find yourself disappointed anyway. But I strongly urge you to find somewhere else to eat. Perhaps you can look up the nearest Chik Fil A.

I've worked in the restaurant industry myself and it pains me to give this place such a negative review, but it is what it is. The food is great, Americanized Irish food, and their drink selection is not bad. The service is what needs improvement. I just received the glass of water I ordered well over 40 minutes ago, our food was cold when it finally arrived, and the icing on the cake is when our server blamed the kitchen twice for the poor service. I think I'll be sticking to the Sandy Springs location from now on. Get it together Atlantic Station!

Came here with a job-hunting friend (they're looking for bartenders). Nice, cozy interior...very dark and woody. Somewhat typical Irish pub food, with some Southern style thrown in. My neighbor had an onion log house contraption: huge onion rings. Nicey, nice, thanks for sharing mate! Our soft pretzels arrived, hot and shiny. Yes shiny. They'd been brushed with oil. Not a flavored oil, just oil, which made them too slippery to pick up while they were hot, and just slimy when they started to cool down. Their grainy beer mustard is mostly mustard seeds. Not much liquid...kinda like eating bird seed. You can't have a proper Irish pub without proper fish and chips, right?! The platter arrived with two healthy logs of battered fried fish, a mountain of chips and slaw. While the fish looked more like egg rolls than filets, they were golden brown and inviting. Almost too golden brown. The fish was cooked from frozen, and the oil too hot. It was still frozen in the center. Damn. All I got to have were the butts. And they were squishy. Oh well. My friend's job search continues, as does my search for proper fish and chips.

I visited this place over Labor Day weekend and it's pretty cool place in a great location. The decor is your traditional Irish pub and so are their menu options. The service was good, Morgan was our server and she was very attentive. I would recommend the pretzels & onion rings!

Nice place. Authentic look and feel. Sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. Nice guy. They have a ping-pong table and corn hole outside. The fried pickles are the only food we ordered. A little salty and the ranch was runny, but I'd come back and give the food a try again.

After wasting 30 minutes of our time and having absolutely no service across the street at 'Strip', we ended up at Meehan's. Ironically, someone that wasn't even our waiter took and brought our drink orders right away. We were expecting just normal bar food, but we were in for a wonderful surprise, they don't really do 'normal'. Ordered the crab & artichoke dip, it's A-mazing! Actually everything we ordered was top notch, the drinks and the wait staff were great as well. Definitely check this place out, and I'll definitely be going back.

This bar is really what Atlantic Station needed - a wood-paneled respite from the sheer commercialness of the rest of the shopping area. An American bar in the British tradition of the public house with plenty of cubicles where a large group of friends, or just a couple, can be in a noisy, fun environment, but still feel intimate. I had the steak salad and though it was a bit pricey for $15, it was excellent - succulent steak, greens, balsamic reduction, tomatoes and bleu cheese. I liked the vibe a lot.

My party of 3 walked in for a round of drinks last Friday night. There were probably about 20 people in the whole bar/restaurant. A girl wearing a Meehan's shirt was standing behind the hostess stand - I asked her if we could just grab a table by the bar. She said "Oh, I'm not the hostess. I'm a server." then turned her back and started talking to another girl. Um, ok. A few minutes later, the actual hostess returned and was very nice and seated us at a booth at the bar and gave us menus. We sat there for 20 minutes. During that time, no waiter/waittress/hostess was ever seen, and we were never approached so we could order. We walked out and down the street to Yard House. We were seated and served immediately. Won't be going back.

Perfect spot for a cheeky pint between shopping and catching a movie. Otherwise, pretty standard pub experience. Drinks were on par. Appetizers were good, not out of this world, but great for snacking with beers. Overall, if you are hanging out in Atlantic Station then this is a great place to stop in for a drink but probably not worth the drive if you're not already around.

Service was slow as tar. I had to asked the hostess what the hold up was, and she stated they were down to two servers :( Wish she had been a bit more pro active with us-nothing worse than wondering what is taking so long. So, with that being said, the Bison burger was amazing-I split mine with my daughter, and enjoyed my half and half beer. My son had the Farmhouse, and the other had fish and chips. Several sides to choose from, and the menu isn't over run with options-whew, THANK YOU! We would like to go back when we have more time- The interior is beautiful-huge bar, cozy seating or open air-loved it.

We decided to grab food here while shopping in Atlantic Station and we were so glad we did. Our server was a guy who said he'd just started, but he did a great job! We ordered like tapas and had a table full of yummy things. Fish tacos, curry nachos, crab dip with pita bread, chicken fingers, etc etc etc...A couple glasses of Reisling a piece and we were good to go!! Thanks guys for a great tummy filler.

One of the few Irish pubs in the city , and one of the few pubs that has seasonal menu changes and is really careful about where they source their ingredients from. If you see head chef Val Domingo around you should say hi, he is great to talk to! Have been here multiple times with bigger groups which really the pub lends itself to. IT will be noisy and crowded but the ambiance is great and the wait staff are very nice. Ask for Jenna. I have never left from here hating anything. Good food and good prices. Their croquettes are lovely and the chop shop fries are yummilicious. Perfect pairing for drinks. I tried their beef stew cooked in guinness and served with soda bread - that entree was so huge it lasted me two meals! There s a bit of bitterness and salty to it that might not suit all taste buds but I enjoyed it! End with their bread pudding - this is one of those puddings where they really did use bread y'all :) Not like other places that call it bread pudding but fill it with other fancy shmancy things. Go for a relaxed meal, service is good but casual so if you want a quick sandwich this aint your stop. Stick around and enjoy the place :)

One of my favorites in Atlantic Station. I've been here twice -- once for dinner/drinks on a Friday night, and once for Sunday brunch on the patio (read "$10 bottomless mimosas"). Both times I was left satisfied. The food is tasty (if you want a salad, I approve of the fresh kale!), the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and dive-y and unpretentious. Oh, and they are one of the few restaurants I've found that will allow your puppy to sit with you out on the patio :)

Hit meehans up after the USA game.......like clockwork Mugs the bartender got our drinks and Eric the manager came to see how we were doing. That's how meehans treats it's guests and the reason we keep coming in. I'm typically pretty positive with my reviews because i don't like to complain but i did have a problem with the other bartender spending all her time texting on her phone. Thank god i knew Mugs so i could yell my order over the other bar guests and get my drink. I recommend anyone coming into meehans because 98% of the time you'll get great service. .......If u see someone that looks more like a textender than bartender I'd stay away.

Stopped in here for a beer with friends before a show. Seemed like a happenin place if you like the homogenized style that comes with such chain restaurants. Can't speak for the food, but service was unfriendly at best and decor was standard. It's doubtful I'll go back.

I am always surprised by what people would give a place as 4 stars as I think that would be great quality food (5 would be excellent). This was my first experience as my wife had been here during lunch and had a delicious meal. Maybe because we went on a halloween weekend. I ordered scotch and they served it in a plastic cup because they were saying something about they were serving alcohol outside, I was confused. I order the Seared Ahi Ahi Tuna. It was well prepared but it was drowning in balsamic vinegar. They should have noted that they were using balsamic vinegar on the menu as this is my least favorite vinegar. It is a very powerful vinegar which I think should have been used just on the Ahi Ahi cooked separately. My potatoes were drowning in them at the bottom of the bowl making it soft. Normally, I like my potatoes crispy. As noted, maybe it was the weekend i went, but the experience was not so pleasant for a pub. But, it is at a mall so not that much expectation there.

As an update, I've been back a couple of times - and finally got my fish and chips. Awesome.Again service has rough edges but the effort is there - gotta love a place that tries this hard. Only thing is stay away rom the trivia night. Poorly done with embarrassingly bad host an will make your night miserable with loud and obnoxious commentary and music. Give em a try, just not on trivia nights.

My boyfriend and I came in for a beer and cider while we waited for a movie at the cinema. Awesome, authentic Dublin pub atmosphere (from someone who's lived in the UK). I went in with a friend after seeing a concert downtown. There wasn't much space at the bar, so we sat at a high-top right next to the bar. The hostess had to hunt down our server twice before he came to get our beer order. After he got the order and placed it at the bar, he disappeared again. My friend and I stared at our beers at the end of the bar just waiting to be picked up. Finally, I got up, hunted down our server who was sitting at a table chatting with some people and I asked him if it was cool if I grab my own beers that are warming at the bar? He then got up with an annoyed look because I'm sure I just ruined his social hour and he delivered our beers. And yes, they were warm. We drank them, decided to go to another bar because a 20 minute wait for one beer is way to long. I'm glad we didn't order food. I'd probably still be there waiting.

yeah, not sure what's up with this place. i come here often with coworkers, mainly for birthdays during lunch, and their service is just slow and crappy. The food is decent, not anything super special, but it took our group almost two hours to get our checks, and half of them still weren't right by the time we left. I got my food in a to go box by the time everyone else was already done eating. someone else ended up paying for my sandwich by accident, still trying to pay them back. the servers are petty and argue over who gets what table/customers, which is totally unprofessional, even for a bar/public house. only come here if you're really desperate for food and have hours to spend, otherwise go to Yard House or Pig and Pearl (they serve alcohol) if you want much better service much faster. almost all the other restaurants in atlantic station (except for Rosa Mexicana, that place is just awful) are a better choice than this place.

Medium sized bar in the Midtown area. Jenga at the bar to play, and plenty of space to sit and eat or chill at the bar. Had a few rounds of Irish Car bombs, and it ended up being a bit expensive for an irish pub-ish bar.

The fish and chips were delicious...perfectly battered flaky fish and fresh-cut fries. Tried a bite of my friend's chili, which was really good, too. We sat at high-top table at the bar and the service was excellent. I was puzzled to find it so empty, though...figured that this location would be packed. Hope I went on an off-night, because I really like this location.

Pretty good nachos but awful lobster bisque and had the driest and chewy corned beef ruben. Got a beer and the waitress spilled half of it on the table and left a mess. The onion rings were soaked in grease and only eating 2 of then had the worst stomach ache. Never will go back. Only good thing the key lime martini.

I have been a few times now and was pleased with food and drinks both time my only complaint is that services is lacking but the live music makes up for it.

Went here with my hubby and our friends after the Atlanta Marathon Relay. They're one of the sponsors and they were giving away free sliders. I ordered their Lobster Bisque ($8) and it was really tasty and creamy with real lobster chunks. Love it! My husband had their smokehouse burger ($11) and he liked the quality of the patty. It's good but can get this anywhere else for less.

My favorite spot to attend at Atlantic Station. The ambiance is traditional Irish Pub; the food is not. You can expect to see some of the usual Irish dishes there, but expect it with a pleasant twist. They also have plenty of American fare that has a chef's touch. An extensive beer selection will take care of the aficionados and an attentive staff help navigate questions about the menu. I'm a big fan of the turkey burger, so definitely check it out.

Great irish pub that is open late. Loved the detail of the old wooden floors, tables and big and deep booths that made up the environment of the pub. Enjoyed some excellent wings while watching Cabrera win his triple crown - Go Tigers!

I love most of their dishes and the atmosphere. I do think they should use baby kale for their kale salad. You have to be a goat or a cow to chew that mature kale, but the flavor of the salad was very good.

i took my parents here for drinks after dinner. the hostess was super nice, she found out my parents are from out of the country, she seated us specially in the booth close to the bar, so my dad could watch band playing :) she then told the waiter to take good care of us since my parents don't speak any english :) i love the fact they mix their irish beers!!! i have never heard or tried anything like this. we had Guinness mixed with Champagne, Guinness mixed with Harp, and a real Guinness. they were surprisingly delicious. i got my dad a jamison shot later on, since they got some good irish liquor selection too. well, i'm no expert at irish drinks, but it was good enough for the 3 of us :) the waiter was very nice, friendly, and patient. there was a live band playing while we were there. the only bad thing about the midtown location is that u do have to park under ground, and ever since they change the parking fee rules, you can now park up to 2 hours for free, so time it wisely! we would def go back to try the food, not to mention the drinks are already good here, so is the service.

Worst restaurant I've visited in a long time. Appetizers never arrived. Some plates arrived without side dishes. After finishing the meal we asked for a dessert menu and were told "we are out of desserts." WTH? i don't think he problem was with our server. The problem was with the management and kitchen. I won't return to this unprepared place.

Left because we didn't even have water after 15 minutes despite being mostly empty, despite the hostess noticing we weren't getting served. . Manager just shrugged and said a meek sorry when we left.

Had a couple of drinks with a friend at the new Meehans in Atlanta Station. Didn't realize it had only been open a week. The bar is nice and they did a good job of making it feel like a pub, that is even though it is new it does not feel sterile. The bartenders were friendly and while we didn't order anything complicated, they had apparently worked in the downtown pub so presumably they are experienced.

This is just ok. We should have had a clue when it was Happy Hour and this Irish pub was empty. Service is not up to par. The waitress did not know anything about the drink specials on the chalboard at the entrance and blatantly informed us that the bartender could not make those drinks. Pricing was also not honored for a special ordered from the daily special board. Thumbs up for the large order of delicious salt & vinegar chips and the fish tacos. But the lamb burger was lacking spices. My advice - skip the experience.

No complaints! Great addition to Atlantic Station. Really friendly staff and the atmosphere of the place would suit a night out drinking or a date. The food is not typical bar fare. The drinks are a touch pricey but the quality justifies it. Can't wait to return!
